This is something I was thinking of. I was going to start it up but Im kinda occupied with my TNA circuit right now, so if anyone wants to take this idea, go for it.
All these circuits seem to be based on Alternative history, or going back in time. But what will the future look like?
Go with WWE five years down the road or so, so you'd be starting maybe 2018, or 2020. Who's the top guys? Are guys like Cena and Punk still hanging around? Which of today's 20-something guys or indy guys are ready to burst into the main event scene? Is TNA still around? and if not have any of their guys migrated North?
Just something different if anyone wants to run with this.

An interesting idea. The only pitfall with it is it's hard to factor in injuries, deaths, those sort of things. Plus, predicting who will actually break through is extremely hard. Like five years ago, who would have thought Daniel Bryan would be a top guy in WWE?
Who do you think would be main eventing in 5 years?

If I was starting this, Id have Antonio Cesaro as one of the top heels. Ziggler would be up there not sure though heel or face. The guys in the shield would be THE guys, atleast Ambrose. I'd probably bring Jay Lethal in. I can see him coming over and being a star is 5 years or so. Guys like Sheamus, Bryan, they'll be in the mix but on the downside of their careers. I don't think Ryback has the staying power to be a headliner that far down the road. I'd have to take a good look at the NXT roster and look at who I can picture making a big impact.

This would probably be something that you try to do maybe 2 years ahead rather than 5. That way you're staying just ahead of the curve rather than really far down the road.
For example, El Generico supposedly just signed a developmental deal. That means in 2 years, he might actually just be starting in WWE. Whereas in 5 years that's a little harder to gauge.
As a side, I disagree that Sheamus will be on his way down in 5 years. I also think Ryback will still be on top in 5 years.

Yeah. This is depressing because in five years Cena will still be main eventing WrestleMania. Probably fighting Sheamus and the occasional HHH.
The projection/interpretation of history over the next five years is precisely what makes it an interesting project.

Just looked back and saw this old post I made and had to chuckle I honestly don't follow the current product much but I think you did really well with your predictions.
