Man, I'm so far behind.
11/13 Wired:
Haven't been a big fan of Mercedes, so her missing a couple of months doesn't break my heart.
I have a feeling Smothers is going to become one of my favorite aspects of TNAW.
Saturyne is in a rough spot being so small and a high flyer. It's a tough job selling her as a serious threat. You've been building her up slowly which is probably the best course of action.
Love the bit with Jameson claiming Saturyne must be a guy. Can't wait for her to try and prove it.
Alright! Was afraid you might slowly have the Smothers girls work their way up. Good to see they are at least going to be picking up some victories early on.
Kimberly's push may be over.
Showdown 11/16:
Good to see Serena back in action. And Storm always provides the goods.
Hailey Hatred is such a cool name.
Did not expect Hatred to make the save for Snuka. Thought Hatred would probably be a heel. Interesting.
Snuka is having a rough time right now. Hope you have big plans for her in the future as I think she could be a star here. Oh, and Rob Terry is such a dick.
TV Title tournament looks good. I'm kind of hoping Matthews pulls out the upset. Wouldn't go so far as to predict she does however.
Can't wait for Rayne to make her return to action.
And that's a hot way to end the show. The Knight Dynasty is going to really catapult themselves up the ladder with this feud.
Wired 11/20:
Looks like Made In Sin is a serious threat. Really enjoyed their opening promo and going over ODB and Santana in their debut means they are for real. Your tag division is heating up!
A bounty on Saturyne's mask is a throwback to feuds of the good old days. Big fan. Looking forward to seeing who collects. Good, brief show.
11/23 Showdown:
Thought Storm would for sure move on in the tournament. I suppose two straight losses for Havock would have hurt her, and this does allow Storm to follow up with the feud with Serena. That is if Serena drops out of the tournament as well.
This Knight Dynasty feud with Flash and Del Rey is going to probably be the hottest feud you have. I already can't wait for them to clash inside the ring. Great backstory. Loving this.
Fun pair of matches with neither side really looking more dominant than the other. Britani might grow tiresome of Saraya costing her matches if it keeps up.
Great interview from Flash and Del Rey. Looks like the Knight Dynasty finally pushed them to the breaking point.
Not surprised Cruise went over Hamada. You might have some problems finding a serious threat to her title with that way current feuds are set up. There isn't anyone available to challenge her, really.

It's going to be weird having Wired being the hour long show. Does that mean it becomes the headline TV show?
Showdown 11/30:
Oh. Man. I just cheered out loud reading that opening paragraph! KONG IS BACK!!! This makes my day.
Maybe Kimberly's push isn't quite over as I had thought. I like pairing her up with Snuka and Hatred.
Kong practically squashing Valkyrie shows that she is back for real. I was afraid it might be some sort of cruel joke, but that doesn't look to be the case. This immediately gives the Old Guard a terrific feud and not to mention Cruise has someone capable of giving her a real challenge.
Can't imagine this is the end of the Knight Dynasty/Del Rey and Flash feud.
TNAW really got that boost of adrenaline it needed in the return of Kong. Can't wait to see where it all goes.
Wired 12/4:
Since Wired is the hour long show, I wonder if we'll see less of the rookies? Or them simply doing squashes?
Lovelace sure didn't have a good day.
Nikki 'roasting' Serena was well done. I had no idea about some of these events in her career, and it does make her look like she has some bad luck. These two going at it is going to be a lot of fun.
Recapping the past champions of the TV Title is a nice refresher going into the tournament.
Made In Sin has to be getting over with their reasons for attacking people. They've won me over.
Looks like the Valkyrie is going to be the one taking the losses for the Old Guard right now. She must have pissed someone off in the back. Hatred and Snuka are a fun team and could be a welcome addition to the amazing tag team scene you have going on right now.

Thanks for the feedback Josh! I might have told you that I have been trying out some rules to complement TNM/AWE, this being how network and the audience react to shows. Unfortunately for me, they pulled Showdown back to 30 minutes. Wired has always been streamed live online, but it doesn't generate any income for me. So I'm not in the best of spots, but I keep on going Showdown will now more or less feature two good matches, while the rest of the action will take place on Wired. It should really be taken as a big push if your match is shown on Showdown now. And yes, the rookies will have a harder time climbing the ladder now.

TNAW - Saturday Night Showdown - 14.12.2013
Jessica Havock vs Nicole Matthews - TV Title Tournament
One of these wrestlers would be moving forward to the finals of the TV Title tournament, a match scheduled to be held at the Pride and Glory iPPV. Havock dominated much of the early goings, using her power and strength to her advantage, but Nicole isn't tiny herself, and rocked Havock with a lariat that sent her to the canvas. Still, Jessica was inching herself closer and closer to victory, almost sealing the deal with a backbreaker. It was a missed splash in the corner that led to Nicole hitting a roll up, using the ropes as leverage to keep Havock down on the mat. Nicole advances to the finals!
[TNAW TV Title Semi Final]: Nicole Matthews pinned Jessica Havock after a roll up in 0:07:14. Rating: ** 1/2
Nicole certain of victory! We go backstage after the commercial, and see Serena and Kimberly doing some nice stretches. These two are scheduled to face each other in the second semi finals on Wired! this Wednesday. Nicole Matthews comes in grinning, telling them both that it doesn't matter who's facing her at Pride and Glory, the new TV Title will be Canadian, and her name will be Nicole Matthews. When she leaves, Serena and Kimberly agree that no matter who wins the semi finals, they will win the finals too.
Hamada vs Tara
The main event saw Hamada take on her former teammate in Old Guard, Tara. These two have fought and trained together before, and are really two of the most experienced veterans around here. Tara might not have the other Old Guard women around, but she did have her boyfriend, her loverboy Rob Terry standing close by. He didn't do much in the opening though, but was conveniently stationed on the outside when Tara needed a brief respite, but ended up eating a moonsault from Hamada as Tara moved aside. Tara dominated for a while after that, and had several good opportunities to take home the win. Hamada retaliated with her kicks and other aerial maneuvers, but when she went up high for a moonsault, Rob Terry pushed her down. Tara then closed in on the Widow's Peak, winning a big match here on SHowdown.
Tara pinned Hamada with the Widow's Peak in 0:10:40. Rating: *** 1/4
Card rating: *** 1/4
Match observations:
Nicole Matthews has secured herself a spot on Pride and Glory, where she will be facing either Kimberly or Serena for the TV Title. Don't forget Showdown next week, where Gail Kim will be facing Melanie Cruise for the TNAW World Title!

TNAW - Wired! - 18.12.2014
Jameson raises the stakes! Welcome to Wired! - live here on your Internet stream. We open backstage, where "The Double D Diva" Jayme Jameson are rallying the troops (Leah von Dutch, Mia Yim and Heidi Lovelace) against what Jameson perceives as the big bad here on Wired! - the masked Saturyne. She puts a bounty on Saturyne's head, or more specifically, her mask!
Father-daughter peptalk Backstage, Tracey Smothers is having a peptalk with his two daughters, who are involved in singles matches tonight. He says that it comes a time when everyone man needs to focus on what's important in life, but then Stephanie interrupts him to remind him that they are not guys (he), but girls, women. Tracey apologizes for the slip-up, and starts a new monologue which is basically Bill Pullman's speech from the 1994 hit movie Independence Day, feature Will Smith and Jeff Goldblum. They both smile, pat his arm and tell him they got this.
Nikki storm vs Stephanie Smothers
This was a big opportunity for "Sassy" Stephanie Smothers, but the loud-mouthed Scot Nikki Storm is starting to become a big name player here in TNAW, and has tweeted several times that she feels her talent is wasted on an Internet only show. Her underestimating Stephie caused some initial embarrassment, as Smothers showed off decent technical moves against Storm. Through a combiination of tenacity, skill, a little luck and a great deal of cheap moves, Nikki maneuvered herself in a position to hit the Perfect Storm, ending this match.
Nikki Storm pinned Stephanie Smothers with the Perfect Storm in 0:06:35. Rating: * 1/2
Made in Sin arrives The zealous tag team Made in Sin arrives, the darkly dressed Allysin Kay and Taylor Made yelling obscenities at both fans and staff in the parking lot. When approached by backstage interviewer Chasity Taylor, they have no interest in responding to questions about facing the tag team champions tonight, opting instead to criticize Chasity on her revealing outfit, letting her know that those who encourage sins, are just as complicit as the ones actually committing them.
Saturyne has had enough Backstage, trainers and staff scatter as Saturyne and Jayme Jameson are brawling - Jameson trying to rip off Saturyne's mask while Saturyne is kicking and punching Jameson. ODB comes around to separate the two. Even though the lines between Wired wrestler and Showdown wrestler has been blurred as of late, ODB still acts as a mentor and trainer for the young girls. She says that she doesn't know why they're fighting, but she doesn't really care. She calls off any bounty Jameson have on Saturyne, and tells them to settle it - on Pride and Glory!
Jessie Belle Smothers vs Mia Yim
Her half-sister didn't do too well against Nikki Storm earlier tonight, and Jessie Belle didn't fare much better against Mia Yim. As her father watched Yim take her daughter to the school of pain and back again, he realized that both his daughters probably needed a little more seasoning before going up against the stars of TNAW. The Kick Me Goodnight was enough to put Jessie down for the occasion.
Mia Yim pinned Jessie Belle Smothers with the Kick Me Goodnight in 0:04:18. Rating: * 1/2
Interview with the Knight Dynasty Dave Prazak has had the chance to sit down with Saraya and Britani Knight again. Daughter Knight walked around on crutches, her ankle still injured after the last match against the TNAW Tag Champions. Saraya is irate, saying that now, Alissa goes after her daughter as well, her baby? The girl she didn't realize she was pregnant with until six months into the pregnancy? It wasn't enough for Alissa to almost put her out of the business 7 years ago, to almost destroy her livelihood? Now she had to do the same to her daughter as well? At Pride and Glory, Alissa and Saraya would meet again, one on one. If Sara Del Rey stayed in the back, Britani would do the same. It would only be the two of them.
Made in Sin vs Alissa Flash & Sara Del Rey
I don't know if Made in Sin has targeted Del Rey and Flash for a particular sin, or if they simply want to have a go at the tag team champions in this non-title match, but they got their asses handed to them in either case. Alissa looked a little put back with what happened in their last meeting with the Knight Dynasty, and has stated in social media that she didn't mean to injure the youngest Knight. That Flash was passive in this match, didn't bother Sara much, who now got to inflict a whole lot of punishment on her own. Still, it was Flash who got the honor of finishing the match, taking out Kay with the Kudo Driver - a lethal move that doesn't see much use. Is it a warning to Saraya Knight?
The Three Amigas (Alissa Flash and Sara Del Rey) defeated Made in Sin (Allysin Kay and Taylor Made) when A. Flash pinned A. Kay with the Kudo Driver in 0:05:57. Rating: ** 1/4
The Old Guard go too far! We're back from commercial, and the members of the Old Guard are in the ring, Tara, Gail Kim, Winter, Valkyrie and Rob Terry. Tara has the mic, saying that whoever thought the Old Guard was dead, is wrong. This weekend, Gail Kim would defeat Melanie Cruise to become the TNAW World Champion. On Pride and Glory, The Valkyrie and Winter would beat Hatred and Snuka. What about herself? She would like to remind the fans what happened at Pride and Glory three years ago. Awesome Kong defeated Tara in a World Title match - forcing Tara to go through every other member of the TNAW roster before every challenging for the title again. Well, Tara did manage to defeat every single member of the roster, and she did become the World Champion for a second time. Now - Kong is back, and Tara doesn't like it one bit. She says that everyone has been dodging the elephant in the room (oops, she says, not making any weight jokes at Kong), and that is the reason why Kong left in the first place, and why she didn't come back until now. This comment, way over the line, actually seems to make Gail Kim a little angry, who grabs the mic away from Tara and starts arguing with her outside of the microphone's radius. They never get back on the mic though, as Awesome Kong charge the ring. She is initially beaten down by the Old Guard, but slowly gets the upper hand, swatting them away as only Tara and Rob Terry is left. Rob goes to stop her, but is low-blowed. Kong goes after Tara, but Gail Kim takes out her leg from behind. The Old Guard continues to stomp away on Awesome Kong, but Hailey Hatred and Sarona Snuka come running to break it up.
Kimberly vs Serena - TV Title Tournament Semi Finals
The main event of the evening would determine who would face Nicole Matthews in the finals of the TNAW TV Title tournament at Pride and Glory. Serena and Kimberly are good friends, and have even trained together before this match. The two of them knew each other quite well then, and as a result we saw a lot of counter wrestling taking place in this match. Both wrestlers had a chance of going for their respective finishers, but they had them well scouted, and avoided them. Serena rammed herself into the ringpost when going for the spear, an opening Kimberly took advantage of. The match was still anyone's ball game though, when Nikki Storm all of a sudden interjected herself, tripping Kimberly, pulling her out of the ring and knocking her down. That gave Kimberly the win, but Nikki and Kimberly have no problems with each other! Clearly, Storm did this soley to mess with Serena.
[TNAW TV Title Tournament Semi Finals]: Kimberly defeated Serena by disqualification in 0:08:24. Rating: ** 3/4 [Nikki Storm interfered against Kimberly.]
Nikki challenges Serena While Kimberly is torn between celebrating getting to the finals of the TV Title tournament and helping Serena to take out Nikki Storm, the Scot is busy trying to avoid Serena's wrath. She ends up at the ramp, hiding behind two members of the security force, who keeps Serena at bay. Nikki "apologizes" for ruining her chances, but she has a much better idea for Serena and Pride and Glory. Instead of wrestling for the TV Title, she can wrestle her! Serena says that she could very well finish her here and now, but if Nikki wants to be destroyed on iPPV - fine by her!
Kimberly's surprise As the credits roll over your stream, we see Kimberly walking backstage accepting the congratulations from staff and fellow wrestlers. As she walks into a locker room, she gets blindsided by Nicole Matthews - her opponent for Pride and Glory. The lariat leaves Kimberly out cold. Matthews grabs a hold of Kimberly's hair, lifting her closer to her face, and whispers "Don't forget that lariat, bitch!"
Card rating: ** 1/4
Match observations: It's all set then - Nicole Matthews vs Kimberly at Pride and Glory for the TV Title!
Also set for Pride & Glory:
Awesome Kong vs Tara Hailey Hatred & Sarona Snuka vs Winter & The Valkyrie Saturyne vs Jayme Jameson Alissa Flash vs Saraya Knight Serena vs Nikki Storm

TNAW - Saturday Night Showdown - 21.12.2013
Sarona Snuka vs Winter
We're only 8 days away from Pride and Glory, when Winter and The Valkyrie will take on Sarona Snuka and Hailey Hatred. It was the most inexperienced member of The Old Guard, Valkyrie, who picked a fight with Snuka last month when she felt that there was too many competitors vying for a few spots. Well, after being hounded by The Old Guard for weeks, Snuka got help from Hailey Hatred, fresh off an impressive career in Japan. Both Hatred and The Valkyrie got involved in this scuffle, but it was Hatred who was the best wingwoman tonight, preventing interference and distractions and generally helping Snuka in taking home the win with her patented Superfly Splash.
Sarona Snuka pinned Winter with the Superfly Splash in 0:04:52. Rating: * 1/2
Cruise hopes for a clean fight Backstage, Chasity Taylor speaks with Melanie Cruise about the upcoming title match against Gail Kim. Cruise says that Kim is a tough competitor, but reminds the fans that she beat both Kim, Hamada and Martinez at once in Through the Gates of Hell, and would defeat Kim one-on-one as well. She only hoped for a fair fight from Gail and her posse.
Gail Kim vs Melanie Cruise
Melanie's wish for a clean fight was coming through in the early goings, as Gail fought cleanly and no Old Guard member was to be seen. After a tough forearm exchange with Cruise that ended with a dropkick and a close call from Gail, you could hear her tell Cruise that she didn't need help to win the world Title, she could do it on her own. She tried to wear Cruise down methodically, and the big champion was slowly, but surely losing strength and power, especially when Kim hit a series of sleeperhold that almost put Cruise away. Melanie has fighting spirit though, and fought her way back, slamming Kim left and right and clotheslining her outside of the ring. Before Gail could get back in, Tara leads the entire Old Guard in an attack, causing the DQ but pummeling Cruise down to the ground.
Melanie Cruise defeated Gail Kim by disqualification in 0:10:50. Rating: ** (Melanie Cruise retained the TNAW World Title.)
On the outside, you can almost see Gail Kim a little upset with what happened, and she demands some answers from Tara. Tara ducks the question, but assures Gail Kim that not all is lost. She has been with Brooke Hogan and has managed to finagle a deal for a NEW title match. Gail is flabbergasted that Tara had the audacity to broker a deal for her BEFORE this one was even over! Tara said the deal was a contigency plan if she lost, which she did. In that case, there would be a rematch at Pride and Glory, but if Gail lost, she would have to defeat every other wrestler on the roster before ever getting a title opportunity again, much like the stipulations before Tara's match against Awesome Kong - 3 years ago. Gail is not happy with this deal, but looking at the condition of Melanie Cruise, battered and beaten by the Old Guard, she agrees - but tells Tara and the rest to stay out of her business in that match!
Card rating: **
Match observations:
Exciting developments in the World Title picture! Gail Kim will now challenge Melanie Cruise at Pride and Glory - but if Gail loses, she will have to fight her way through every single member of the roster - just like Tara did back in 2010.
We're only 8 days and 1 Showdown left until Pride and Glory. Wired! this Wednesday is cancelled due to the holidays.

TNAW - Saturday Night Showdown - 28.12.2013
Storm & Matthews vs Serena & Kimberly
These four women have singles dates with each other tomorrow night, but right now, it was Nikki Storm and Nicole Matthews taking on Serena and Kimberly. Serena will be facing Nikki tomorrow in a grudge match, a match that Nikki set in motion when she got Serena disqualified from the TV Title tournament, a tournament she herself had been eliminated from earlier. Kimberly and Nicole are set to face each other for that belt tomorrow, and spent this encounter getting a real feel of each others' strengths and weaknesses. The fear of losing, and thereby going into tomorrow's match with low self-esteem may have been on everyone's mind, because when all four of them found themselves brawling on the outside, they weren't too keen on trying to get back in. The match ends with a double countout as nothing has been settled before tomorrow night!
Nikki Storm and Nicole Matthews and Serena and Kimberly battled to a double countout in 0:12:04. Rating: ** 1/2
Sara Del Rey vs Tara w/Rob Terry
These two have had numerous battles throughout the years, and this one was no less a classic. Sara was a little apprehensive of the fact that big Rob Terry was nearby, but the bodybuilder didn't get involve, at first that is. While Tara is going up against the returned Awesome Kong tomorrow night, Sara is without a match. Still, these two former two-times world champions had enough to settle in-between them, and went at it in the final televised match of 2013. Even though he didn't interact with the match a lot, Terry did get involved in the end, which saw him jump up on the apron and club Sara in the back. It didn't knock her out completely, but when Sara went after Terry, Tara saw an opportunity and rolled Sara up for the win. Tara's going in to tomorrow's match against Awesome Kong with a bang!
Tara pinned Sara Del Rey after a schoolgirl roll up in 0:07:28. Rating: **** 1/4
Rundown of the card! Let's run down the card!
Gail Kim vs Melanie Cruise (C) for the TNAW World Title
Gail Kim's final chance of the gold. If she doesn't win this one, she has to go through every other wrestler on the roster before getting a new shot
Alissa Flash vs Saraya Knight - grudge fight
Seven years in the making! Alissa almost put Saraya out of business in England seven years ago. Now - Flash has injured Saraya's daughter. The Brit is out for blood and revenge, can she get it now?
Nicole Matthews vs Kimberly - TV Title Match
It will be one of these wrestler's first chance of tasting gold here in TNAW. Who will become the 17. TV champion?
Awesome Kong vs Tara
Awesome Kong is back from what has been a very tough time on her and her family. Who was there to "greet" her the way only they can? You got it. The Old Guard. Now, these two clash at the same iPPV as 3 years ago.
Hailey Hatred & Sarona Snuka vs The Valkyrie & Winter
Another warm welcome was given Sarona when she appeared in TNAW. These four go head to head.
Serena vs Nikki Storm
Nikki Storm does anything she can to get herself into an iPPV spot, because she knows that's where the money lies. I do believe she dislikes Serena as well, but she likes money far more than she dislikes Serena.
Saturyne vs Jayme Jameson
"The Double D Diva" has a problem with the masked luchadora Saturyne. These two rookies will get a chance of a lifetime when they clash live on Internet.
Card rating: ****

TNAW - Pride and Glory - 29.12.2013
Kimberly vs Nicole Matthews for the TNAW TV Title
Welcome to Pride and Glory - the final iPPV of 2013!
The opening contest was the first of two title matches, as Kimberly and Nicole Matthews faced each other. They had both gone through two other solid competitors to get to this point. Kimberly had defeated Winter and Serena, while Nicole Matthews had defeated Sara Del Rey and Jessica Havock. This match was especially important for Nicole Matthews, as the former champion, Cherry Bomb, is Nicole's friend and tag partner. Even though she won the title, the injury she suffered was so serious that she had to vacate the title. She was not in attendance tonight, but Kimberly's friend and mentor, Madison Rayne was. The new mother is eager to get back into ring shape, but for now, she was happy cheering on Kimberly. And what a match it became! In an evenly contested bout, with Nicole Matthews trying to win it for her fallen comrade, even the crowd started to get a little behind Nicole. It was to no avail though, as Kimberly ducked a lariat attempt, hooked the arm and hoisted Nicole up on her back for the Shuttle 151, a ride few get out from. Kimberly is the NEW TV Champion going into 2014 and celebrated wildly with Madison Rayne afterwards. Not the best of losers, Nicole flipped them off and went to the back.
Match for the vacant TNAW TV Title: Kimberly pinned Nicole Matthews with the Shuttle 151 in 0:07:50. Rating: *** 3/4
Jayme Jameson vs Saturyne
The former bodybuilder and fitness model Jayme Jameson might be the stronger of the two of them, but the speed, agility and sheer tenacity of Saturyne is so excellent that anyone would have problems keeping up. Jameson caught up with Saturyne on one occasion or two, leveling her with a clothesline, but it was only a matter of time before the "Intergalactic luchadora" was back on track, wowing the crowd with her antics before putting Jameson away with a rana.
Saturyne pinned Jayme Jameson after a springboard rana in 0:04:20. Rating: * 1/4
Nikki Storm vs Serena
Serena has had injury problems for several years now, and her temper is running on a shorter and shorter fuse. So when this Scot started making her life miserable, going so far as to ruin her chance to become a two-time TV champion, Serena had had enough. Nikki might have goaded her right where she wants her too, as Storm thrives on manipulating people into becoming her enemies and having it all settled on iPPV, where the match and win bonus is so much greater. Defeating Serena is only possible if you avoid the spear, or as in Nikki's case, manage to roll outside if you're hit by it. Serena could have won it there, but Nikki instinctively rolled to the outside. When Serena tried it later, Nikki moved like a rattlesnake, rolling up Serena for the win. As she left the ring, she motioned to Serena that she would be counting her money all the way to the bank!
Nikki Storm pinned Serena after a schoolgirl roll up in 0:06:46. Rating: ** 3/4
The Old Guard vs Snuka & Hatred
The Old Guard (The Valkyrie and Winter) defeated Sarona Snuka and Hailey Hatred when Valkyrie pinned S. Snuka in 0:15:59. Rating: * 1/2
The Old Guard are in action in three matches tonight, and this was the first of them. Snuka and Hatred dominated the early goings, and almost routed the team of Winter and Valkyrie. The Old Guard team almost took the countout loss, but Snuka's goading lured them back into the ring. The Old Guard did eventually gain control of the match, isolating Sarona in the middle of the ring. Every tag attempt was thwarted in the last minute, sometimes by having Hatred pulled down from the apron. The crowd wanted it, Snuka needed it - but when she finally managed to duck an elbow from Valkyrie and reach for the tag, Hatred clocked Snuka with a hard right! As Valkyrie made the cover, Hatred revealed brass knux! She has knocked down her own partner! The Old Guard and their newest member are celebrating in the ring as a hapless Sarona Snuka is still out cold. What a despicable betrayal from Hailey Hatred!
Awesome Kong vs Tara
These two have had some magnificent matches, and this one was not any different. With Tara still being one of the toughest and most powerful female athletes despite her age, the size and strength difference between her and Kong was almost neutralized, and Tara almost, I said almost, managed to stay toe to toe with Kong. When that didn't work, distracting the referee and having Rob Terry pull Kong's hair did the trick as well, and Tara started to terrorize Kong for several minutes, aided when needed by Rob Terry. Tara and Terry were very clever for doing this outside of the referee's sight of view, but in the end they failed. Ref Brian Gorie should have disqualified Tara, but instead opted for ejecting Rob Terry. The Brit didn't want to listen, so he went inside of the ring to tell the ref what he felt about this decision. This allowed Awesome Kong to low-blow him from behind! Terry might be out for the moment being, and Tara might not like the results of that low-blow, but she was able to catch Kong from behind, hitting the Widow's Peak for the 1-2-3. After the match, Tara grabbed Terry before walking out, promising her beau to find some ice.
Tara pinned Awesome Kong with the Widow's Peak in 0:13:04. Rating: ****
Alissa Flash vs Saraya Knight
This wasn't a match, this was a fight! The two tore into each other long before getting to the ring, but they at least had the decency of briefly entering the ring long enough for the referee to signal for the bell. With Sara Del Rey and Britani Knight banned from ringside, these two finally got the opportunity for a one-on-one fight, seven years removed from that fateful day in Norwich, England, when Saraya Knight's career almost ended due to a freak accident. In a scene reminiscent of the one where Knight got injured, the Brit threw Flash over the chairs of the announce team, before continuing to choke her with a microphone cable. This not being a NO dq match, she was lucky to avoid losing the match. Backstage, Sara Del Rey and Britani Knight were being interviewed about the match, almost coming into trouble when Britani called Sara an ugly **nt. Sara told Britani that she didn't attack cripples, but if she kept up, she would make an exception. Inside the ring, Saraya and Alissa were slugging it out, with Flash getting the upper hand, lifting Knight up for an Air Raid Crash. The momentum crashed into ref Laura Mattano, so there was nobody there to count. As Flash tried to revive the referee, Nikki Storm sprinted out with a chair, slid into the ring and cracked it over Flash's back. Not once, not twice, but three times! Saraya locks Flash in the Bridal Rocking Horse, stretching her already injured back. As Flash screams in pain, the referee crawls over and asks her. Flash submits, but Knight has no intention of letting go, not until Sara Del Rey comes running out, chasing off the Knight. As Saraya hooks up with Nikki Storm and Britani Knight in the aisle, she promises Alissa that this is only the beginning.
Saraya Knight made Alissa Flash submit to the Bridal Rocking Horse in 0:14:22. Rating: *** 3/4
Gail Kim vs Melanie Cruise (c) for the TNAW World Title
In our main event of the evening, in the final match on the final show of 2013, Gail Kim would try to wrest Melanie Cruise's title away from her. She failed at Pretty Amazing, she failed at Through the Gates of Hell, and she failed 8 days ago on Showdown when Tara and the rest of the Old Guard caused a dq loss. "Fortunately" for Gail, Tara had brokered a deal with Brooke Hogan, where she would receive another title shot tonight - with the caveat that if she lost, she would have to defeat every other wrestler on the TNAW roster before getting a new title opportunity. Gail fought bravely in this encounter, and with the Old Guard nowhere to be seen, it was evident that she was on her own. In her reign, Cruise has battled both Kim, Tara and Hamada extensively, and of those, Gail is the smallest competitor. This means that Cruise spends less effort suplexing and slamming her, a huge advantage! Gail has other qualities though, like speed, agility and devastating kicks. She also has the ring savvy of a 10 year+ veteran, as she proved when she grabbed the ropes after a spinebuster. Gail later went for the Eat Defeat, but Melanie countered it with a clothesline. She then went up top, but Gail rolled away for the big leg drop! Another Eat Defeat was countered by Cruise, who hoisted Kim up for the Burning Hammer! But Kim wriggles loose grabs Cruise's arm and hits the Eat Defeat. 1-2-3.. Gail Kim is the TNAW World Champion!
Gail Kim pinned Melanie Cruise with the Eat Defeat in 0:12:45. Rating: *** (Gail Kim won the TNAW World Title.)
The Old Guard congratulate Gail Kim As Gail Kim clutches her world title, Tara and the rest of the Old Guard (including Hailey Hatred) join her in celebration. Tara picks up a mic and congratulates Gail on her victory, and reminds her that if it wasn't for her, she would never have had this match. Gail responds that if it wasn't for Tara, Gail would have been World Champion 8 days ago. This seems to kill the mood a little, as Tara really didn't appreciate being lectured. She tells Gail that unfortunately for her, there can only be one leader of The Old Guard, and this power hungry schemes of her would, unfortunately, be the end of her involvement with the Old Guard. With that, Valkyrie, Winter and Hatred attacks Gail, easily taking her down due to the numbers and the fact that Gail has just fought for the World Title. As Rob Terry and Tara kiss and cuddle in the middle of the ring, Gail is getting the crap beat out of her, and is powerbombed in the middle of the ring twice! Awesome Kong, Sarona Snuka and Melanie Cruise rush the ring, chasing the Old Guard away.
Card rating: ***
Match observations:
What an end to 2013, Gail Kim becoming the TNAW World Champion - before she is forcefully rejected from the Old Guard by Tara and the rest, including Hailey Hatred, who backstabbed Sarona Snuka earlier in the evening.
Nikki Storm has apparently allied herself with the Knight Dynasty (probably due to the amount of money given her), and Kimberly is the new TV Champion!
Follow us next year, on Wired! and Showdown.

TNAW - Saturday Night Showdown - 04.01.2014
Jessica Havock vs Serena
Welcome to the first edition of Saturday Night Showdown of 2014! Dave Prazak is ready with his new broadcasting partner, Lenny Leonard, who will be filling in for pregnant Taryn Terrell.
The opening contest saw Serena battle it out with Jessica Havock. These two have something in common, as they have both been having problems with Nikki Storm. It didn't look like it mattered much in that regard, as both wrestlers tore into each other, wanting to climb the ladder towards a possible TV Title match. Havock is more powerful than Serena, but few can match the intensity and heart of Serena. Jessica couldn't seem to put Serena away, and when she hoisted her up on her shoulders for the Demon Drop, Serena wriggled out and ended up behind Havock. You know what happens then - spear - and 1, 2, 3.
Serena pinned Jessica Havock with the Spear in 0:04:52. Rating: ** 1/4
The Old Guard make their intentions clear We're back from commercial, and the Old Guard are in the ring, with their new member Hailey Hatred, but sans the TNAW World Champion, Gail Kim. Tara lets Winter do the talking in the start, being busy smooching with Rob Terry. Winter says that they have all felt Gail Kim slipping away from the group as of late, wanting to do things on her own. Anyone knew that Tara is the captain and the World Title candidate, Gail and her were to focus on the tag title, but Gail wanted to go her own way. She ironically congratulates her on winning the world title, but adds that anyone could have beaten Cruise. This brings out the former TNAW World Champion, Melanie Cruise, who puts Kim over as the best competitor she's fought in TNAW, including Tara and, by a large margin, Winter. Cruise comes too close to the ring, and HAtred and the Valkyrie jumps out to take care of her. Then, Awesome Kong and Sarona Snuka appear in the aisle, making their way down to the ring and causing the Old Guard to retreat back into the ring. Tara grabs the mic at this point, and warns them not to attack, being outnumbered and all. That was before the TNAW World Champion Gail Kim comes down with the title belt, joining the trio. We now had four, angry women dressed in black leather surrounding the ring. Gail grabs the microphone, saying that The Old Guard are champions in uniting previous enemies against common foes. The four have banded together for one purpose - and one purpose only - to vanquish The Old Guard. Last year, the Alliance was a loosely knit group of people who, even though they succeeded in defeating The Old Guard at Caged Fury, failed in defeating them for good, and who disbanded soon thereafter. They would not fail - they are B****es in Black!
Tara grabs a mic again, saying that they would fail where the Alliance and everyone else had failed. Tara also says that this was probably heading towards a big brawl, but instead, she proposed a match, two of them against herself and Winter. Gail accepts, and Awesome Kong joins in. We have ourselves a main event!
B*****s in Black vs The Old Guard
These four know each other so well. Kim and Kong are former stablemates in the Kongtourage, Gail and Winter have held tag team gold together and Tara and Kong have wrestled each other on numerous occasions as well. At Pride and Glory, Awesome Kong's fist found Rob Terry's balls, and I think the Brit remembered that well as he tripped Kong, leading to a period where the Old Guard dominated Kong, going for her knees and ankles. On the outside, Melanie Cruise almost had to hold Snuka back from attacking the traitor Hailey Hatred. The chaos was complete when The Valkyrie pulled Gail Kim down from the apron at a tag attempt, right in front of the referee, who promptly disqualified The Old Guard.
A huge brawl erupted then, just as Tara had predicted. Rob Terry tried not to get too involved, but when he realized his girlfriend and her friends were getting their asses handed to them, he picked up Tara and Winter and walked out as The Valkyrie and HAtred escaped through the crowd, battling Sarona and Cruise.
The B*****s in Black (Gail Kim and Awesome Kong) defeated The Old Guard (Tara and Winter) when Kong defeated Tara by disqualification in 0:08:03. Rating: *** 1/4
Card rating: *** 1/4
Match observations:
A new force has risen to try and stop The Old Guard. Will B****es in Black succeed in vanquishing the Old Guard for good?
On Wired! this Wednesday, we will hear from Saraya Knight on why she chose to ally herself with old nemesis Nikki Storm. AND - they will challenge Sara Del Rey and Alissa Flash for the TNAW Tag Team Titles!

TNAW - Wired! - 08.01.2014
Nicole claims to have been robbed! Welcome to the very first Wired! of 2014. We are backstage with Chasity Taylor, who stands by with Nicole Matthews. The last time we saw Nicole Matthews, she was on the losing end of the TV Title match against Kimberly at Pride and Glory. Nicole now claims to have been robbed for the TV Title match, and demands that they show clips from the finish of that match. We see Kimberly hitting the Shuttle 151 and then making the cover. Nicole tells them to pause, and then claims that Kimberly is pulling her tights. The pictures are inconclusive, but Chasity feels that it didn't matter, as Nicole was down and out for at least three more seconds. Matthews says that doesn't matter, and that the match should have been awarded to her through dq.
Leah von Dutch vs ODB
ODB might not be the coach and mentor of the "Wired girls" anymore, but she sure likes to dish out punishment. The dutch-canadian Leah von Dutch never got out of the starting blocks in this match, as ODB dominated most of it, taking her time and playing to the crowd. ODB wins, and the question is if ODB wants to go for belts again now that her mentoring days are over - at least for now?
ODB pinned Leah von Dutch with the Flying Thesz Press in 0:03:51. Rating: * 1/4
Interview with Made in Sin Dave Prazak has a sitdown interview with one of the newest tag teams on the scene, Made in Sin. Taylor Made and Allysin Kay claim to be here on a quest to cleanse TNAW for sinners and the wicked. It doesn't matter what your sin is, they are here to take you out. Dave asks if such an attitude isn't a sin in itself, maybe Wrath? Made and Kay laughs at the infidel, cutting the interview short as they feel they have better things to do than sit here and be questioned by someone who apparently doesn't take care of himself, violating the sin of gluttony. Dave objects, saying that he might not be an adonis, but he is clearly not gluttonous! Made and Kay laugh, telling him to keep believing just that.
Congrats is in order Backstage, Tracey Smothers approaches ODB, congratulating her on that beautiful win over Leah von Dutch. He stumbles on a few more lines before ODB pokes him in the chest and tells him to ask her out if that's what he's trying to do. Tracey then asks her out, but she says no and walks away, leaving Tracey Smothers like a question mark.
Hailey Hatred vs Sarona Snuka
Snuka and Hatred didn't wait until the bell before they charged each other, both eager to settle this thing between them. Being betrayed the way Snuka was instilled a great deal of anger in her, and Hatred had big problems getting out of the blocks. The powerful Hatred did manage to match Snuka's blows, and was softening up the second generation superstar with blows to the back and a backbreaker. I don't know if The Old Guard stayed their hand because they knew B****es in Black would be right behind them, or if they didn't think it would be over so fast, but when Hatred missed a splash in the corner, and Snuka rolled her up for the win, it was all she wrote.
Sarona Snuka pinned Hailey Hatred after a roll up in 0:04:57. Rating: * 1/2
The Knight Dynasty explains Backstage Chasity Taylor stands by with the Knight Dynasty and their hired gun, Nikki Storm. Taylor wants to know why they have suddenly forgiven Storm, who last year was one of their biggest rivals. Saraya says that past rivalries doesn't matter - there is only one enemy left to take out - Alissa Flash. Knight may have beaten her at Pride and Glory, but there was a couple of things left to take. First - her title. Then - her career. Nikki Storm's comment on why she chose to align herself with a Brit, was simple: Money. It doesn't mean she's suddenly become good friends with the Knight family, it simply means she got a call from "Dollars. Five thousand dollars." And when five thousand dollars calls, she cannot say no.
Tag champs warn the unholy alliance In a pre-taped video segment, Sara Del Rey and Alissa Flash warn Saraya and Storm before the title match tonight. Sara says that Storm's desire for money will serve her well when she has to eat soup out of a straw because "The Queen of Wrestling" and "Future Legend" will crush her face! Flash admits that when she realized why Knight was here, she felt a little guilty for not apologizing back in 2007. But now, when she knew what Saraya would do for a chance of petty revenge? She regrets not ruining her career when she had the chance. Del Rey and Flash have been champs for almost 8 months, which is a new record. They have defended their belts 8 times - also a record. A record that would be 9 times after tonight.
Snuka talks about betrayal Chasity Taylor stands by with Sarona Snuka, who earlier tonight defeated Hailey Hatred to get some revenge for her betrayal at Pride and Glory. Snuka scoffs at the idea that a roll up win on Internet was enough for Snuka. Like her father, the legendary Jimmy Snuka, she didn't take crap from anyone, and with new friends - the B****es - Hatred would come to regret that betrayal.
Melanie Cruise vs Tara
Tara had several attempts to dethrone Melanie Cruise last fall, but ultimately failed on all attempts. Now, Cruise is without the World Title, but is still difficult to beat. Tara wanted desperately to prove her point, tha Gail Kim isn't special or brave in defeating Melanie Cruise, and that she can do it herself. However, even taking a couple of timeouts with her beau, Rob Terry, didn't help, as she could not take down Melanie Cruise. Cruise wriggled out of the Widow's Peak and hit the Burning Hammer! Before she could cover Tara though, Rob Terry jumped up on the apron to distract Cruise. Cruise responded by going over to Terry and kissing him! The Brit didn't seem to mind too much, but it did allow Tara to hit a roll up for 2. Tara was furious, and signaled to the back. The Old Guard ran out and attacked Cruise, laying her out and causing the DQ. Tara manages to hit the Widow's Peak before the Old Guard must escape the BiBs charging the ring. On the way out, Tara scolds Terry for not fighting the kiss.
Melanie Cruise defeated Tara by disqualification in 0:06:53. Rating: ** 1/4
Alissa Flash & Sara Del Rey (c's) vs Nikki Storm & Saraya Knight for the TNAW Tag Team Titles[/b]
We're back from commercial, and in the ring, Storm and Knight are already going at it against the tag team champions, Flash and Del Rey. It takes several minutes of brawling before the referee finally gets some measure of control and Storm and Flash ended up in the ring. Britani Knight was on the outside with crutches, but she seemed like she could use her leg quite well, as she had no problems hitting Del Rey with the crutch and then running away. Del Rey is smarter than that, and did not pursue her. Instead, Del Rey and Flash dominated Storm for a while, almost putting the Scot away. Saraya Knight doesn't usually care much about rules and stuff, and managed to pull Storm to her corner, tagging in. A vicious brawl with Flash quickly went to the outside, but not before Sara Del Rey managed to blind-tag Flash. As Del Rey circled a pleading Nikki Storm, Flash and Knight brawled on the outside, the ref trying to break them up. Enter Britani Knight, who climbs into the ring and smashes the crutch over Del Rey's back. Sara falls down to her knees, and Storm hits a magistral to win the TNAW Tag Team Champions!
Nikki Storm and Saraya Knight defeated The Three Amigas (Alissa Flash and Sara Del Rey) when N. Storm pinned Del Rey after a magistral in 0:12:17. Rating: *** 1/2 (Nikki Storm and Saraya Knight won the TNAW Tag-Team Titles.)
Titles are not enough! Winning the titles are apparently not enough for the Knight Dynasty and Nikki Storm, as Britani Knight continues hitting Sara with a crutch in the middle of the ring. Mother Knight and Nikki Storm assault Flash on the outside, taking her out 2-on-1. Nikki then sets up a table, and Saraya powerbombs Flash through the table on the outside! As the stream goes dark, we see Alissa Flash and Sara Del Rey knocked out inside and outside of the ring - The Knight Dynasty and Nikki Storm celebrating with the titles.
Card rating: ** 1/2
Match observations:
What a way to finish the first Wired! of 2014. Saraya Knight and Nikki Storm are the new TNAW Tag Team Titles, and they have taken Flash and Del Rey out - big time! We have already read that both needed medical attention after the show. Is this enough? According to Saraya Knight's tweet: "It's still not enough" - it might not be. But what next?
Don't forget Showdown coming up on Saturday, where Madison Rayne will have her first match after giving birth.

Saturday Night Showdown 11.01.2014
Peptalk before Madison's first match We open Showdown backstage, as Madison Rayne prepares for her first match after her pregnancy. Rayne will be facing Mia Yim, and she looks visibly nervous. The TV Champion, Kimberly, tries to give her a peptalk, telling her that she's a former tag champion, and that she's got this. She compliments on Rayne's look, saying that she looks awesome for someone with a toddler. Rayne thanks Kimberly and thanks her for the support. Kimberly says thank you herself. Before Madison came into her life, Kimberly was a loser. Now she's a champion. They hug and Madison walks out to wrestle.
Madison Rayne vs Mia Yim
The ring rust was quite evident on Madison, who struggled initially to make an impact on the match. Yim has fought hard to get back into TNAW, but sorely needs a win or two to get more opportunities like this. She didn't have any qualms about trying to kick Madison's head off though. Rayne slowly worked her way back into the match, showing old tricks when she sent Yim reeling with a flying headscissors. The match went back and forth, until Rayne managed to roll Yim up, holding on for the 3-count. Rayne is victorious in her return!
Madison Rayne pinned Mia Yim after an O'Connor Roll in 0:07:15. Rating: **
Brooke Hogan sets down some ground rules We're back from commercial, and Brooke Hogan and the Old Guard are in the ring. Brooke says she has paid extra attention to the trouble brewing between The Old Guard and the B****es in Black, and does not want a full-scale war on her show. Tara is angry that they're singled out, and not the leather-clad b****es. Brooke says that the same messages goes out to them, and she would personally make sure they get the message. The BiBs come out then, dressed and ready to roll. Gail Kim grabs a mic, telling Brooke that she couldn't promise to behave, not when the Old Guard sorely deserved a beating. In fact, Gail Kim would not mind defending her title against Tara. Tara grabs the mic, telling Gail that she would love to take that title away from her, but she shouldn't forget Melanie Cruise's rematch clause. Brooke says Tara is right, if Melanie wants to invoke the rematch clause, she could. Tara smiles, certain that she has created some friction within the group. Gail and Melanie look at each other, but shake hands and agree to have a good match when the time comes.
Hamada vs The Valkyrie
The main event saw the Valkyrie take on Hamada in singles action. This was a golden opportunity for the Valkyrie, who still is a relative rookie compared to many of the Old Guard members. These two also fought at Tropic Tumble last summer, with Hamada coming out the victor with the moonsault. Tonight though, it was young Valkyrie who got the opportunity to hit a moonsault on Hamada, putting away the former TNAW World Champion. A great win for the Old Guard.
The Valkyrie pinned Hamada with the Moonsault in 0:06:58. Rating: ** 1/4
Card rating: ** 1/4
Match observations:
Madison Rayne successful in her comeback match! Don't forget Wired on Wednesday, where Tara will be in action against Sarona Snuka.

TNAW - Wired! - 15.01.2014
The BiBs arrive Welcome to another edition of Wired! - streamed directly on your computer or mobile device!
We open tonight's show outside of the arena, where the four impressive women dressed in black leather arrive. Despite Tara's attempts on Showdown this Saturday, it looks like they're one cohesive unit. Chasity Taylor wants to get a word with them, but they wave her off, telling her that they will be available for interviews later.
Nicole Matthews vs Santana
Nicole Matthews was in an even fouler mood tonight than usual, and she still looks bitter about the fact that she lost the TV Title match at Pride and Glory. That was unfortunate for young Santana Garrett, who desperately tried to battle the angry Canadian. Santana has some nice, aerial moves, and when Nicole tried to take a breather on the outside, Santana hit her with a baseball slide, sending her into the barricades. Still, Santana was unable to put Matthews away, and when she missed with her handspring moonsault, Nicole waited for her with the lariat, knocking her down and winning the match.
Nicole Matthews pinned Santana after a lariat in 0:04:06. Rating: ***
Madison and Kimberly on TV Title win Backstage, Chasity Taylor has a chat with the TV Champion Kimberly and her friend and mentor, Madison Rayne. The two BFFs are really enjoying their time as TV Champion (as Madison puts it), and says that the requests for appearances at social events, clubs etc. has increased tenfold since Kimberly's win. With an infant child, Madison cannot attend these events, but they are still on everyone's lips. At the end of the interview, Kimberly gets a little annoyed at Madison referring to them both as "TV Champions", but Madison still ends the promo with "We take on all challengers for our TV Title!"
Sitdown interview with Gail Kim Dave Prazak sits down with TNAW World Champion Gail Kim, addressing her break up from The Old Guard and whether or not she expects the fans to just forgive her for the wrongs she has committed in the past. Gail says she expects no such things, but she hopes that they will in time see that she is a changed person, and that it took winning the World Title for her to do so. She says Tara is a control freak who couldn't stand the idea of other team members holding the TNAW World Title. She just hopes that Winter, Valkyrie and Hatred sees Tara for who she really is, before it's too late. She refers to the B****es in Black as the BiBs due to censorship reasons, and says that even though she and Cruise has battled extensively for the belt, and her and Kong had some issues a couple of years back, they have put those problems aside for their common cause - ending the Old Guard once and for all.
Von Dutch & Lovelace vs The SNS Express
This was the first of two tag matches, and saw Tracey Smothers' two daughters take on the duo of Heidi Lovelace and Leah von Dutch. The half sisters are starting to gel more and more every match, and display a die-hard attitude and a solid loyalty to each other. Tracey Smothers himself joined the announce team, who questioned him about ODB, a topic he really didn't want to discuss. In the ring, the SNS Express picked up a win after The Smothers Double, a pumphandle slam for Stephanie and a flying senton from Jessie Belle. Smothers celebrated with her daughters after the match!
The SNS Express (Jessie Belle Smothers and Stephanie Smothers) defeated Leah von Dutch and Heidi Lovelace when Belle pinned Lovelace after a flying senton in 0:07:47. Rating: *
Taylor interviews Cruise Chasity Taylor has finally gotten hold of Melanie Cruise, and asks her about teaming up with Gail Kim, the one who took her title. Melanie said that for once, Gail fought a clean match, and she won. Cruise admits that she was skeptical in allying herself with Gail, but realizes Gail and the rest of the BiBs hates The Old Guard as much as her. Kong and Snuka have their reasons as well, so she doesn't fear any backstabbings. Still, when her rematch clause is invoked, she will do anything within her power, as long as it is legal of course, to win back her belt. Gail knows this, and expects nothing less from her. Cruise admits that she failed as the captain of the Alliance. She did lead the Alliance in the match at Caged Fury, but she did not finish the job. She wouldn't make that mistake again.
Made in Sin vs Saturyne & ODB
The second tag team match of the evening pitted Made in Sin against ODB and Saturyne. Even though they were a makeshift team, the unique combination of speed and power made ODB and Saturyne a duo to look out for. The zealous tenacity of Made in Sin kept them close to the edge of disqualification, but the pair never crossed that line. Saturyne had Made down and out in the ring and went for some sort of springboard move, when Kay pulled down the ropes, causing Saturyne to fall down to the ground, hard. In the ring, Made and Kay double-teamed ODB, hitting the Eighth Deadly flapjack combination for the win.
Made in Sin (Allysin Kay and Taylor Made) defeated Saturyne and ODB when A. Kay pinned ODB with the Cut-Throat in 0:05:20. Rating: * 1/2
Interview with Hailey Hatred Backstage, Chasity Taylor stands by with Hailey Hatred, who is asked specifically on betraying Sarona Snuka. Hatred said that it was simply business, and that she feels the Old Guard will help her complete her goals here in TNAW. She also felt that Snuka didn't deserve her fame, that she has gotten to where she has due to her name, while others, like her, has had to fight for it. Hailey is suddenly struck to the ground, as Sarona Snuka attacks her, stomping away at her calling her a backstabbing b****. Chasity barely gets away before several more wrestlers crash together backstage, starting a huge brawl that sprawls all the way into the ring, where Tara and Sarona are already scheduled to wrestle each other.
Sarona Snuka vs Tara
This was a real brawl between these two powerful wrestlers, who eventually were left alone as their stablemates brawled around the ring and then returned backstage to continue their business there. Tara found herself on the receiving end of a proper beating by Sarona, a beating she only escaped by having Rob Terry step between them. The Brit received a slap to the jaw for his efforts, but it allowed Tara to gain control of the match. Sarona tried to match the veteran's efforts, but Tara's seemingly endless sleeve of illegal tricks prevented her from mounting a decent offensive. Still, she managed to duck a clothesline and hit one of her own, but not without wiping out the referee in the process. As Sarona ascended the top ropes for the Superfly Splash, Hailey Hatred ran in and pushed Sarona down from the turnbuckle. As she went for Hailey, Tara assaulted her from behind, hitting the Widow's Peak for the win.
Tara pinned Sarona Snuka with the Widow's Peak in 0:09:18. Rating: ** 1/2 [Gail Kim interfered against Tara.]
Big brawl Hatred and Tara laid Snuka out, but Kong, Cruise and Kim came to the rescue, Winter and The Valkyrie close behind them. The brawl went all over the place, in the ring, outside the ring and even in the crowd. Brooke Hogan came out with a contigent of security guards, who managed to separate some of the girls. Tara and Kim, however, managed to evade the guards and still fight between themselves. Brooke Hogan tried to stop them herself, but an errant elbow from Kim struck Hogan, sending her down for the count. Rob Terry came to the scene, picked up Tara and left. The area was in complete chaos as the show went off air.
Card rating: **
Match observations:
The war between The Old Guard and The B****es in Black are in full swing!
Don't forget to tune in to Showdown this Saturday, as Sara Del Rey and Alissa Flash try to regain the tag team titles against Nikki Storm and Saraya Knight - in a tables elimination match!

12/14
I like Matthews making it to the finals of the tournament. She'd make a good champion at this point in her career.
I remember when a Tara/Hamada match would have main evented a PPV. Love the way you've repackaged Tara several times. Give her time and she'll be back challenging for the World Title.
12/18:
Smothers provides the entertainment. He is a great way to ensure his daughters get over.
Made in Sin is quickly growing on me. They are a fun act that don't feel quite like a carbon copy of Velvet's gimmick.
Boo! I love bounty angles. At least we are going to get a resolution for this at the PPV.
Kind of surprised to see Made in Sin handled so easily, but it just goes to show you how impressive a team Sara and Alissa are.
It's bizarre seeing Awesome Kong as the face in peril, but I can get behind it. It's great to see her back.
Kimberly went from a JTTS to a credible wrestler very quickly. I don't know how she'll be able to take Matthews, but you've done a good job in building her up.
12/21:
That's an awesome development in the Gail Kim/Tara/Cruise feud. I didn't see that coming even with the foreshadowing of it on Wired a few days before. Kim is getting royally screwed over as it looks like Tara wants to make sure she's the lead dog in the Old Guard. Really good stuff here.

TNAW - Saturday Night Showdown - 18.01.2014
Doctor warns Flash about going through with this match We're back on TV with Saturday Night Showdown! Tonight, Sara Del Rey and Alissa Flash will try to regain their titles against the UK duo of Saraya Knight and Nikki Storm in a Tables match. Alissa took a pretty nasty beating after the title match 10 days ago. Her neck is being checked by a doctor, who warns her about going into such a match this close to being injured. Alissa says that's it's quite all right, because she has no intentions of going through a table. That honor is reserved for that hag Saraya.
Mia Yim vs Saturyne
This was a fast-paced and action-packed match between two of the most promising aerial fighters in the business. Even though both are agile and do things from the ropes and turnbuckles that few can match, they can also strike and grapple like the best of them. Saturyne has slowly grown to be one of the most exciting prospects on the roster, and she kept her winning ways up by locking in Yim in her dreaded Rings of Saturyne, causing the submission.
Saturyne defeated Mia Yim when Mia Yim passed out in the Rings of Saturyne in 0:04:11. Rating: ** 1/4
Alissa Flash & Sara Del Rey vs Nikki Storm & Saraya Knight in a Tables Match
This was a brutal match to say the least. Even with the youngest Knight out of action due to injury, she found a way to interject herself into the match, smashing Del Rey with a crutch and allowing Storm and Knight to double team Flash. Knight was relentless in targeting Alissa's neck, going for neckbreakers and suplexes. Nikki Storm followed up with a couple of leg drops, but she was almost pushed away by Saraya, and told to get the tables. On the outside, Sara Del Rey was back on her feet and gave Nikki a fight for the money, and even Alissa Flash managed to turn the tides on Sara Knight, hitting the Air Raid Crash to get even more of her power back. The former champs had almost won their belts back when the attempted to suplex Storm through a table, but Saraya managed to push the table away just in time. Instead, it was the injured Britani Knight who interfered, pulling down the ropes and causing Sara Del Rey to fall out. Using her crutch, Britani managed to hit and choke Sara almost into oblivion, allowing Nikki and Saraya to take care of Alissa inside of the ring, draping her over the table and putting her through it with a big splash.
Table Match: Nikki Storm and Saraya Knight defeated Sara Del Rey and Alissa Flash when S. Knight defeated A. Flash by putting him through a table in 0:09:26. Rating: *** 1/2 (Nikki Storm and Saraya Knight retained the TNAW Tag-Team Titles.) [Britani Knight interfered against Alissa Flash.]
Enough is enough Storm and Knight weren't done. Saraya ordered Nikki Storm to go fetch another table. Saraya picked up Alissa and drove her through it with a power bomb. As Sara Del Rey slowly got back up into the ring, we could see Alissa convulsing in the midst of the carnage. Sara was screaming to the medics to come quickly. What a despicable action by Saraya Knight, her daughter and their hired mercenary.
Card rating: ***
Match observations:
Nikki Storm and Saraya Knight are still the TNAW Tag Team Champions. Alissa Flash was rushed to the hospital, but the news aren't good. She might be out indefinetely. With Mercedes Martinez already out injured, this leaves Sara Del Rey a single Amiga...

TNAW - Wired! - 22.01.2014
Tara warns Gail Kim Tonight's Wired stream opens with Tara, lying in a big, four-poster bed complete with satin sheets and fluffy pillows. Someone is singing in the shower in the adjacent bathroom with a British accent. Tara turns toward the camera and tells the turncloak Gail Kim that if she thinks Tara has settled down with her hunk and her big house, Gail can think again. The most important thing for Tara is, has always been and will always be, the TNAW World Title. It doesn't matter that Gail has new friends - they will fall one by one to the might of The Old Guard.
Jameson wins the lottery..? We go to a local news report, where a reporter is standing outside of an apartment, announcing that the woman behind this door has just won the jackpot of the Miami city lottery, winning $ 100,000. The reporter rings the doorbell, and TNAW wrestler Jayme Jameson answers. After the obligatory screaming and hugging and cheering is over and done with, the reporter asks what she wants to use the money for. "The Double D Diva" thinks about it for a minute, before answering that she wants to re-instate the bounty on Saturyne's mask. Whoever gets her mask, gets half her prize - 50,000 bucks! The reporter says that after taxes, her prize is actually more like $ 60 000. Jameson then says that the new bounty will be $ 20 000!
Jessie Belle Smothers vs Nicole Matthews
It's quite incredible that Jayme Jameson wants to use 20 000 USD on unmasking Saturyne, but to each their own. Neither of the two combatants in the next match had any stakes in that feud, but still wanted to make an impact tonight. Nicole Matthews is almost aimless without her partner or the TV Title to aim for, but she methodically took down young Jessie Belle before dumping her on her neck with the Vancouver Maneuver.
Nicole Matthews pinned Jessie Belle Smothers with the Vancouver Maneuver in 0:03:11. Rating: ** 1/4
First attempt Backstage, Chasity Taylor speaks with Saturyne about the bounty placed on her head.. or mask, more like it. Saturyne is upset, and thought ODB banned the bounty in the first place. She doesn't know why Jameson has a thorn in her side, but she intends to defend her mask. Just then, Nikki Storm sneaks up on Saturyne and grapples her down to the ground, trying to tear the mask away. Storm cannot get it quite off before Sara Del Rey comes along and drags Nikki away from Saturyne. Not necessarily to protect the masked luchadora, but to exact some revenge on Nikki Storm for losing the tag titles and for losing her partner. After giving her a few hard forearms, Nikki breaks away and runs what she's good for.
Peptalk Madison Rayne and Kimberly prepare for their first match back as Confidence. Kimberly tries to tell Madison that she really wanted to focus on her singles career now that she's the TV Champion, but Madison cuts her off, telling her that she can do both - if she just belives in it enough! Madison wants belts too, and she knows Kimberly can help her win one. But before they go for the tag belts, they need to climb their way up the ranks. Kimberly is sold and they have a real BFF moment, hugging and jumping up and down.
Confidence (Kimberly & Rayne) vs Made in Sin (Kay & Made)
Made in Sin is a cohesive unit that works together with a common goal, that their opponents have sinned, somewhat. It wasn't really clear what sin Confidence had committed, but as a team in the tag team division, Made in Sin was of course interested in advancing the ranks. Kimberly was the victim of a several minutes long isolation, but neither Taylor nor Allysin were able to put the TV Champion down. Kimberly were finally able to tag Madison, who cleaned house with clotheslines and body slams. At the top of her dominance, a woman appeared on the top of the ramp with a baby stroller, shouting and motioning to Madison. Rayne runs out of the ring and up the ramp, taking something up from the stroller and rocking it gently. Kimberly cannot believe what is happening, is Madison abandoning the match? She tries to fight back, but falls to Made in Sin's Eighth Deadly.
Made in Sin (Allysin Kay and Taylor Made) defeated Kimberly and Madison Rayne when A. Kay pinned Kimberly with the Eighth Deadly in 0:08:50. Rating: * 3/4
Made in Sin continues beatdown Taylor Made and Allysin Kay continue their beatdown of Kimberly. Madison Rayne is really torn now, but she still has her baby in her hands, and by the sound of it, she cannot make her quiet down. Fortunately for Kimberly (and Madison?), the Smothers sisters make the save, chasing Made in Sin away. Meanwhile, Tracey Smothers comes in and asks if he can try to soothe the baby. Pretty soon, the baby quiets down. Madison is quite impressed, but Tracey tells her he's used to handling noisy girls - nodding to the half-sisters Stephanie and Jessie Belle.
The success of the Knight Dynasty Chasity Taylor interviews mother and daughter Knight. Saraya says that 7 years of physical and mental torment has paid off. Alissa Flash is no more. She might not be dead, but she won't be returning to the wrestling business. Saraya took her livelihood, she took her title belt and she took her dignity. Suddenly, Nikki Storm comes into the picture, almost pushing over Britani Knight on her crutches. Nikki sports a bloody nose and a black eye, and says that Alissa Flash might be out of the picture, but they have a pissed off Sara Del Rey on their backs. Saraya scoffs at Nikki, telling her to mount some of that Scottish courage she's so famous for. Nikki tells Saraya that not every Scot is like Mel Gibson in Braveheart, and that a majority of Scots actually care more about money than dumb courage. Britani laughs, telling Nikki not to worry about Sara. They're 3.. she's 1. She is finished as well.
Valkyrie vs Santana
Santana has a huge opportunity taking on the Valkyrie of the Old Guard. The valkyrie uses her size and power in the early goings, but Santana is a quick, agile, high-flyer, and sends Valkyrie tumbling with a headscissors. She tries to hit a clothesline, but Valkyrie ducks and pulls down the ropes so that Santana falls to the outside. Before she can get back up, Winter and Hailey Hatred stroll over to Santana, threatening her not too get back into the ring, if she knows what's best for her. What followed was one of the weirdest, sickest and most corrupt things ever in TNAW. The referee started to count Santana out, and while Santana really struggled to decide what to do, she chose the easy way out, and walked backstage, holding back tears as the Old Guards' bully tactics is threatening to not only ruin young talent like Santana, but the promotion itself!
The Valkyrie defeated Santana by countout in 0:04:02. Rating: * 1/4
ODB and Jameson argue Backstage, ODB is arguing with Jayme Jameson, telling her that the bounty is invalid, and that she thought she made it quite clear to Jameson the last time. Jameson is protesting this ruling, claiming it is up to her what she does with her own money. Brooke Hogan walks by, explaining to ODB that due to the change in schedule for Wired and Showdown, there is no need for a separate Wired manager. ODB can stay on as a wrestler, of course. Jameson snickers to ODB, who flips Jameson off, bams her chest and walks away.
Hailey Hatred vs Hamada
The main event saw Hailey Hatred take on Hamada, a former Old Guard member. Hatred has extensive experience from wrestling in Japan, and even though she is allied with the Old Guard, she greeted Hamada in the customary way, and fought more or less by the rules. What we saw was a solid match based in Japanese tradition, hard strikes, cruel locks and crisp technical wrestling. The two also had a trip on the outside, both wrestler's backs being introduced to the guard rail. What really turned the tides, was Hamada missing with a punch, hitting the steel post instead. Hatred started focusing on that arm, using every conceiveable trick in the book to injure the arm further. She even got help from Winter at one point, distracting the referee while the Brit grabbed hold of the arm and threw it into the ring post. Hamada fought back, wriggling out of a Samoan Drop and hitting the superkick for two. Hamada tried lifting Hatred up for the Hamada Driver, but a combination of Hatred's weight and the injured arm made it impossible for Hamada. Instead, Hatred brought Hamada down on the canvas, splashing the arm before looking on a painful-looking armbar, causing Hamada to eventually submit.
Hailey Hatred made Hamada submit to an armbar submission in 0:10:35. Rating: *** 3/4 [Winter interfered against Hamada.]
Chaotic brawl Old Guard (complete with Tara and Rob Terry) came to celebrate with Hatred. Even though Hamada more or less was left alone, this did not stop B****es in Black from storming the ring and engaging in a big brawl. Tara came eye to eye with the World Champion, but chose to jump out of the ring and let Rob Terry handle Gail. It didn't actually look like Rob would do anything to hurt Gail though, and he was happy just keeping her at arm's length. That was before Gail grabbed that arm and hit Eat Defeat on the big Brit, infuriating Tara on the outside. Security came and broke it up, even though a couple of guards almost became collateral when they tried to stop Awesome Kong from beating up Winter. Brooke Hogan came out and announced a huge 4 on 4 match between the two teams for Showdown this Saturday!
Card rating: ** 1/2
Match observations:
The war between The Old Guard and the B****s continues, and so far, old grudges seem to have been laid to rest to stop the Old Guard. Sara Del Rey is on a quest for revenge by the looks of it. Has Saraya Knight made a huge mistake making an enemy out of Sara Del Rey?
On Saturday, the B*****s in Black face the Old Guard in a huge tag match, don't miss out on that!

TNAW - Saturday Night Showdown - 25.01.2014
Sara Del Rey promises revenge A video airs of Sara Del Rey standing in a gym, busy with a hard workout where she strikes, kicks and finally grapples a punching bag, wrenching it free of its socket and throwing it to the ground. She looks at the camera, and asks Saraya Knight if she thinks this is over? Alissa might be out of the picture, Saraya may feel that her revenge is complete. Well, now it's time for Sara's revenge. Saraya is not safe. Her family is not safe. Her daughter... is NOT safe. Saraya Knight would rue the day she set foot on US soil.
Nikki Storm vs Saturyne Nikki Storm has, not surprisingly, shown interest in the bounty on Saturyne's head, a bounty of $ 20 000 set by Jayme Jameson, who recently won the Miami Town lottery. Saturyne does not understand why Jameson is so eager to unmask her, but she wants as much experience as possible, and couldn't refuse a match on Showdown! Saturyne awed the crowd with her high-flying abilities, and a couple of times she even looked like she was impressing Nikki. The current Tag Team champion isn't a multiple time champion for no reason though, and was able to take control of Saturyne, eventually finishing her off with the Perfect Storm. As Nikki accepted the fans jeers, she was making money signs with her fingers, eager to get the bounty paid.
Nikki Storm pinned Saturyne with the Perfect Storm in 0:05:06. Rating: ** 1/4
Saraya laughs at Sara's threats Chasity Taylor interviews Saraya Knight about Sara Del Rey's serious threats earlier on the show. Saraya laughs at "The Queen of Wrestling". The Knight matriarch doesn't even know why Sara is so upset. THis wasn't anything personal against her. It was all personal between the Knight family and Alissa Flash. That Sara came in the way, that they lost the tag titles, it was all collateral. She advises Sara to let it rest. Saraya knows fully well how hell-bent Americans are on revenge, so she has sent Britani Knight back to the UK for time being until things cool down. If Sara has something she wants to say - come to her instead - the real Queen of Wrestling.
Bounty not paid We're back from commercial, and Chasity Taylor has picked up an interesting argument between "The Double D Diva" Jayme Jameson and Nikki Storm. Apparently, Jayme is refusing to pay Nikki anything! She explains to the Scot that the bounty was on her mask. It wasn't enough to defeat her, she needs to take her mask and her dignity as well. Nikki curses (we think?) in her thick Scottish accent and walks away, telling Jameson to keep her money ready.
Bi****s in Black vs The Old Guard
This was bound to be a chaotic affair from the get-go, and even with a couple of extra officials ringside ready to herd the wrestlers back into the ring, the two warring sides only managed a couple of minutes of stable tag team wrestling before pandemonium broke loose. When Gail Kim hit the Eat Defeat on Winter in the ring, Hatred and Valkyrie ran in to attack her. Soon, the entire ring was full of women punching and kicking at each other. Rob Terry was not the equalizer he sometimes has been either. He was propped at the announce table, and told Dave and Lenny that Tara was afraid that some of the women would hit on him. Rob admitted though, that he really was afraid of Awesome Kong punching him.
The ring emptied as the fighting spilled out of the ring. Even with 3 officials, it was impossible to keep track of everyone. So when Hailey Hatred cracked a chair on top of Gail Kim's head, nobody saw it. It was easy for Tara to pick up the pieces from there - winning the match for The Old Guard. The Old Guard stood victorious in the ring over a prone Gail Kim after the match, Tara holding Gail Kim's World Title over her head before draping it over her unconscious body.
The Old Guard (Hailey Hatred, Tara, The Valkyrie and Winter) defeated Bi***es in Black (Awesome Kong, Gail Kim, Melanie Cruise and Sarona Snuka) when Tara pinned Gail in 0:08:57. Rating: *** 1/4
Card rating: ***
Match observations:
The Old Guard grabs a victory in this first all out battle between The Old Guard and The B*****s in Black, but Gail & Co will most likely get more chances.

TNAW - Wired! - 29.01.2014
Madison and Kimberly talk it out
Welcome back to Wired! We are backstage where Kimberly and Madison are having a discussion about what happened last week on Wired, when Madison had to leave the match to look after her baby. Kimberly is telling Madison that this place is, perhaps, not the best place for a toddler. Madison agrees, even though she is still rocking the stroller. It's just that, with the baby's father being a soldier, he's gone a lot of the time, so she needs to take care of her baby. She didn't mean to abandon Kimberly like that. Kimberly understands that, and they shake hands and hug. Suddenly, a trainer walks in and tells Madison to get ready for her match, which starts right after the commercial. Madison is stunned that she forgot about her match, and asks Kimberly if she can look after the baby. Kimberly is a little surprised, but agrees.
Madison Rayne vs Nicole Matthews
Being a mother and a wrestler is challenging to Madison, who came out with partially laced boots, all stressed out. This allowed Nicole to take charge in the opening minutes, almost getting a 3-count from a fallaway slam. Madison started getting her act together, and ducked a clothesline before hitting a running knee on Nicole. The final minute of the match was back and forth, until Nicole grabbed hold of Madison and went for the Vancouver Maneuver. Madison slipped through it though, and tangled up Nicole for the win. Madison looked a little surprised to have her hand raised, but a good win for working mom!
Madison Rayne pinned Nicole Matthews after a small package in 0:04:54. Rating: ** 3/4
Unmasked Saturyne!
Backstage, we follow a frantic Chasity Taylor who leads the camera man to somewhere in the back, where we see Mia Yim attacking a prone Saturyne. The masked luchadora is apparently out of it, as Yim bends down to untie Saturyne's mask. She smiles as she realizes Jayme Jameson's bounty will be hers. She runs off, as Chasity Taylor removes her blouse so that Saturyne can cover her face with it. How thoughtful.
Chasity interviews Nicole Matthews
We're back from commercial, and Chasity Taylor is still sans her blouse. She has gotten hold of Nicole Matthews, who is in a particulary bad mood today. She rants on about how lucky Madison was, and that she shouldn't be allowed out here in the ring anyway. Nicole was afraid of hitting Madison too hard with her lariat, it might cause lactation or something. Suddenly, Serena comes into the picture, grabs the mic and tells Nicole to stop whining. Ever since Nicole lost her partner, she has been a worse pain in the ass than usual. Serena is proud of Madison for being a working mom. Nicole needs to get her head straight.
Who gets the bounty?
We cut to a different camera, who follows Mia Yim as she travels the corridors, talking to who is presumably Jayme Jameson on the phone. It seems as if Mia isn't far away, when all of a sudden, Nikki Storm attacks her. The two brawl around backstage, falling over a couch in the process, and losing the mask. As the two fight, Saturyne, still wearing Chasity's blouse, come by and pick it up.
Jessica Havock vs Santana
While she might not have broken out just yet, Jessica Havock is doubtless one intimidating figure, something poor Santana got to experience tonight. With the exception of a couple of dropkicks and high-flying moves, Havock dominated the match before putting Santana away with The Demon Drop.
Jessica Havock pinned Santana with the The Demon Drop in 0:03:23. Rating: ** 1/4
Top contenders match set
We're in Brooke Hogan's office, where Tara, Rob Terry, Gail Kim and Awesome Kong are gathered, along with a couple of security guys. Tara likes to point out that if they want too, Rob Terry could easily take care of the security guys. Awesome Kong then punch her palm, telling Tara that she would then take care of Rob Terry. Terry is terrified of Kong, and actually hid behind Tara! Hogan lets them know why they're here. She wants to pit the two stables in a tag match, 2 vs 2, with the winner being named top contenders to the tag team titles. The World Champion asks Kong who she wants to tag with, and Kong names Melanie Cruise. Tara says that they will face Winter and the Valkyrie. This match is up next!
Snuka on the phone
We're back from commercial, and Sarona Snuka is seen on the phone, talking to who turns out to be her father - Jimmy Snuka! Sarona says that she really is fine down here, and that she has a lot of great friends and allies. She says that he doesn't need to come here. Gail Kim walks by, telling Snuka to hang up and get to the ring to watch their allies' backs.
[Bi***es in Black vs The Old Guard - Match 1
This was the first contender's match to decide the challengers to Nikki Storm and Saraya Knight's tag team titles. Other than that, this was also a match between two feuding factions who can't stand each other. It has become pretty clear that there is only room for one of the factions here in TNAW, so it's only a matter of when, not if, these two teams throw down with some real stipulations on the line. Winter and the Valkyrie have tagged together before, but even if their teamwork was better, Cruise and Kong are two of the biggest and most menacing wrestlers in TNAW. Kong is still suffering from some ring rust, but she can still punch her opponents in the face and squash them like a bug in the corner. Valkyrie and Winter kept the former World Champion in their corner for a while, but Cruise powered out sent Winter tumbling and hit the Burning Hammer on Valkyrie for the win. B*****s in Black will challenge Saraya & Nikki for the tag team titles in a couple of weeks' time!
Bi***es in Black (Awesome Kong and Melanie Cruise) defeated The Old Guard (The Valkyrie and Winter) when M. Cruise pinned Valkyrie with the Burning Hammer in 0:07:57. Rating: ** 1/4
Nicole attacks!
Serena is seen giving some pointers to Santana, when Nicole Matthews blindsides her, booting her down and stomping her down to the ground. Nicole whips around and tells Serena to not stick her nose in what doesn't concern her. She spits at Serena and tells her not to embarrass her in public like that again.
[Bi***es in Black vs The Old Guard - Match 2
B*****s in Black had already won once tonight over The Old Guard, and Tara, Hatred and Terry didn't want that to be a repeat performance. Their opponents were current TNAW World Champion Gail Kim and the strongest female from Samoa, Sarona Snuka. Gail Kim doesn't back down from anyone, at least not her old ally Tara. Snuka has still not forgotten the traitorous acts of Hailey Hatred, and focused the brunt of her attack on the bulky blonde. Tara, of course, took time when possible to snuggle with Rob Terry. The Brit became suddenly very nervous when Awesome Kong and Melanie Cruise made their way to the ring to even out the numbers game when Valkyrie and Winter limped in, but a scolding from Tara was enough to persuade him to stay. The referee quickly lost control of the match, and Rob Terry grabbed a chair (by order from Tara), and was about to hand it to Hailey, when Awesome Kong grabbed his ass from behind. Terry dropped the chair and ran. With the ref still distracted, Sarona grabbed the chair and smashed it over Hailey Hatred's head, pinning her for the win.
Bi***es in Black (Gail Kim and Sarona Snuka) defeated The Old Guard (Hailey Hatred and Tara) when S. Snuka defeated H. Hatred via pinfall in 0:10:34. Rating: ** 1/2
Terry hides As the credits roll, we see Rob Terry hiding behind a shower curtain, a quick breath signaling fear. We hear the bathroom door open, and Rob quietly whispers "Tara?". The music from Psycho plays as we see a large silhouette is coming closer to the showers. The curtains are thrown open and Rob Terry screams like a little girl, almost scaring to death poor Lenny Leonard, the temp announcer who apologizes, but reminds Rob that all the guys share the same locker room because they are so few. Rob breathes a sigh of relief, telling Leonard he thought it was Kong.
Card rating: ** 1/2
Match observations:
B*****s in Black are the new top contenders for the Tag Team titles, Saturyne's mask is still in her possession and Rob Terry's Kongphobia reaches new levels.
Join us on TV this Saturday, as Gail Kim takes on Winter in a non-title match and Saraya Knight wrestles Hamada.

TNAW - Saturday Night Showdown - 01.02.2014
Hamada vs Saraya Knight
Saraya Knight is a happy woman these days, having not only defeated Alissa Flash, but injured her so severely that she has been forced to take an indefinite hiatus from the sport. Afraid of retaliation from Flash's partner, Sara Del Rey, Saraya has sent her daughter home to the UK while awaiting Del Rey's next move. Saraya was in action against Hamada tonight, and the two veterans from vastly different parts of the world put on an exciting effort. Saraya took great pleasure in torturing Hamada, and maybe reliving the pain she inflicted on Flash as she took her out of business. Hamada has been in a real rut as of late, but had her chances against the elder Knight. The end came when Hamada waited too long with Saraya on her shoulders, with Saraya wriggling out and performing a sunset flip that actually kept Hamada's shoulders on the mat long enough for the 3-count.
Saraya Knight pinned Hamada after a sunset flip in 0:07:14. Rating: *** 3/4
Joy turned into horror
Chasity Taylor stops Saraya Knight on her way back, and the Brit comments that she's a little surprised that Sara Del Rey hasn't shown her face. She's probably too afraid to tangle with her, and realizes that the score is now settled - there is no need for more bloodshed. Chasity tells Saraya that she has, in fact, a message from Sara Del Rey. With that, Sara pops up on the screen, sitting on a train. She tells Saraya that she understands Saraya's need for vengeance. She understands Saraya's anger, even though it is pretty clear to everyone that it was a freak accident, and not a deliberate act. She tells Saraya that she can tolerate losing the title, but she cannot tolerate that her friend is, perhaps, out of the business. And she cannot tolerate the humiliation the Knights has brought on her - the Queen of Wrestling. She asks Saraya if she recognizes the train she's on. That's right, it's the train to Norwich, UK. If Saraya thought she could hide her daughter by sending her back to the "old country" she was mistaken. She knew where the Knights lived. She knew that Britani's dad and brothers were busy with training, and that she was home alone recuperating from her injury. That's Facebook for you, anyway. By now, Saraya is frantically pacing in front of the screen, before she starts searching, rather violently, Chasity Taylor for a cell phone. Sara adds something in the video. "Oh, by the way. Don't bother calling her. I'm not live. All this happened two hours ago. By now it's too late. Way too late". Saraya is dialling away, but cannot get through. Saraya is screaming at the phone for Britani to pick up, but nothing happens. Chasity tries to ask for her cell back, but a look at Saraya makes her think otherwise.
Non-title match - Gail Kim vs Winter
After that shocking video of Sara Del Rey traveling to the UK to take out Britani Knight, we go back to the ring where Winter is awaiting her former stablemate and TNAW World Champion, Gail Kim. The rivalry between the Old Guard and the B*****s in Black are well on its way, and this non-title match only added fuel to the fire. Kim and Winter know each other very well, and have also been tag team champions way back. It didn't take long before their stablemates decided to check out the main event, and soon enough, Sarona Snuka and Hailey Hatred was dishing it out, the second generation superstar exacting revenge on the turncoat. Gail might be more of a fan favorite after standing up to The Old Guard and being ejected after winning the World Title from Melanie Cruise, but she is still an opportunist at heart. When Winter tried reaching for a chair the Valkyrie was brandishing, Gail grabbed Winter and hit the Eat Defeat.
No big altercations between the stables tonight, but an exciting singles contest nonetheless.
Gail Kim pinned Winter with the Eat Defeat in 0:08:39. Rating: ** 1/2
Card rating: ** 1/2
Match observations:
Shocking scenes as Sara Del Rey revealed to Saraya Knight that she was in the UK to exact revenge on Britani Knight. As of now, nobody has gotten hold of Britani Knight, but we hope to have an update on this situation. And if Saraya wasn't mad before, what condition is she in now that Sara possible have injured her daughter? God help us all.

TNAW - Wired! - 05.02.2014
Santana vs Tara
Tara was almost toying with the rookie Santana, until Santana (who undeniably looks like a younger version of Tara) started to (according to Tara) flirt with Rob Terry. The silk gloves came off and Tara pummelled the youngster for a minute before finishing her off with the Widow's Peak.
Tara pinned Santana with the Widow's Peak in 0:03:56. Rating: ***
Rematch granted Backstage, Melanie Cruise approaches the TNAW World Champion, Gail Kim. Melanie says that she respects the fact that Gail finally beat her and that she's the current champion - but she has a rematch clause in her contract which she'd like to invoke for next Wired. Kim respects that, and tells Melanie that no matter what happens, she hopes they're on the same page with regards to the Old Guard. Melanie nods and fist bumps Gail.
A nocturnal visitor We see a video of someone filming with a nightcam inside an apartment. Whoever it is, tries to be really quiet, and when we hear a female, Scottish accent, we realize that it's Nikki Storm. She sneaks herself into a bedroom, where a mask lies on the nightstand, next to a sleeping woman. Nikki snatches the mask and makes a hasty retreat. Nikki has stolen Saturyne's mask!
Yim & Lovelace vs The SnS Express w/Tracey Smothers
Tracey Smothers' illegitimate daughters are continuing on their quest towards success here in TNAW, and tonight it was Mia Yim and Heidi Lovelace who fell victim to the half sisters' tag team prowess. The veteran Tracey cheered them on and used his experience to give them both moral support and sound tactical advantages. The Smothers Double was enough to pin Heidi, Jessie Belle connecting perfectly with the senton follow up.
The SNS Express (Jessie Belle Smothers and Stephanie Smothers) defeated Mia Yim and Heidi Lovelace when Jessie Belle pinned Lovelace with the Smothers Double in 0:05:15. Rating: *
Sitdown interview with Saraya Dave Prazak and Lenny Leonard are trying to host a sitdown interview with Saraya, getting a reaction from the mother of Britani Knight after the disturbing video we saw on Showdown, but the Briton cannot control her anger, and she ends up smashing her chair into the floor, before turning towards the camera and telling Sara that she's DEAD! Not dead in "gonna get a really good beating", no DEAD as in she will really KILL her DEAD! Before Lenny or Dave can get another question in, the door to the studio flies open and Sara Del Rey enters with a suitcase. Looks like she's coming straight from the airport! Sara smashes the suitcase into Saraya's abdomen and cracking a mic holder over her back. Saraya screams at Sara, who keeps up the attack, pushing Lenny away as she's kicking away at Saraya. Dave is frantically motioning to the camera to shut off.
Hamada leaving Chasity Taylor is, via interpreter Mercedes Martinez, trying to get some words with Hamada. As we know, Hamada speaks basic Spanish, but almost no English. Martinez says that Hamada is tired of her losing streak, and that she will take a hiatus in Japan before she comes back, stronger than ever. Chasity than asks Mercedes when she'll be back. Martinez said she'll be back in the ring at the end of the month. Taking part in the Through the Gates of Hell match really took its toll on her.
Nicole Matthews vs Rose Martinez
Speaking of Martinez, here was her sister-in-law, Rose Martinez, making her debut against Nicole Matthews. Rose has experience from the independent stage, and was also known as Bayley on NXT. Now she's here in TNAW, but an angry Nicole Matthews was, perhaps not, the best of opponents. She tried to finish it off early, but Rose showed that she has talent, twisting her way out of the Vancouver Maneuver. It didn't take too long before she was on the canvas though, courtesy of a lariat from "the Lariat". But a good debut all in all.
Nicole Matthews pinned Rose Martinez after a lariat in 0:05:53. Rating: * 1/2
Sara demands booking Brooke Hogan gets an unwelcome visitor when Sara Del Rey enters her office. The General Manager looks nervously over Sara's shoulder, but Sara calms her down, telling her that Saraya is nowhere near them now, as she is being checked out by trainers. Sara tells Brooke that she doesn't care if Brooke fines, suspends or fires her - the only thing she wants is to fight Saraya in a StreetFight at My Bloody Valentine. Brooke accepts the request.
Madison and Kimberly have a peptalk Backstage, Madison Rayne and the TV CHampion, Kimberly, are having a peptalk. Madison says that she didn't ask to be put in this match. Kimberly understands that. She also wants Madison to do her best out there. She would be out there rooting for her. Madison smiles embarrassingly, and asks Kimberly if she would mind staying here looking after her baby. With her husband being a soldier and all, it was really hard to get a babysitter. Kimberly says she's no good with kids, but Madison persuades her. As Madison leaves, Kimberly turns to the baby and tells it that unfortunately, her mom doesn't stand a chance tonight, and even if she did, she would never take Kimberly's belt away.
Payback Chasity Taylor asks Nicole Matthews for some post-match comments, but "the Lariat" doesn't say much before Serena blindsides her, sending her into the wall and then slamming her onto the concrete floor. Serena says that's payback for last week.
Madison Rayne vs Jessica Havock vs Serena vs The Valkyrie - Top Contenders match for the TV Title
This match was to determine the #1 contender for the TV Title. The Old Guard was represented by the Valkyrie. The powerful Jessica Havock also made her presence known, going for the much smaller Madison Rayne, still trying to get rid of the pregnancy related ring rust. The fiery Serena was, of course, the fan favorite in this one, at one point spearing all three opponents in succession! Rayne, on her side, showed that the ring rust is slowly going away, as she brilliantly evaded Havock's grasp, sending her over the top rope with a drop kick. The Valkyrie saw an opportunity to bring gold to the Old Guard again, slamming Serena down with a sidewalk slam. A finisher bonanza saw Rayne hit the Rayne Drop on the Valkyrie, Havock hit the Demon Drop on Rayne before Serena speared Havock for the second time tonight. Unfortunately, this also impacted the referee, who went down. He didn't see Serena make the cover, and he didn't see Nicole Matthews enter the ring to hit the Vancouver Maneuver on Serena. Both Havock and Rayne were on their way back up to their feet by now, and it was Rayne who hit Havock with the Running Big Boot for the 3-count. Madison Rayne is now the top contender for her good friend Kimberly's TV Title!
Four Corners Match: Madison Rayne defeated Jessica Havock, The Valkyrie and Serena when M. Rayne pinned J. Havock after a Running Big Boot in 0:13:04. Rating: ** 1/4
Card rating: * 3/4
Match observations:
Not to take anything away from Madison Rayne, but by the looks of it, she didn't expect to win that match herself! Now, she will face Kimberly at My Bloody valentine. Only question is: Who will look after the baby?
Check out Showdown this Saturday, when B*****s in Black challenges Saraya Knight and Nikki Storm for the TNAW Tag Team Titles.

TNAW - Saturday Night Showdown - 08.02.2014
Mia Yim vs Serena
Welcome back to another edition of Saturday Night Showdown! Tonight opened with a match between Serena and Mia Yim, two of the most exciting and feisty competitors on the TNAW roster. Mia is still trying to carve out her own destiny here in TNAW, while Serena has struck up a rivalry with Canadian Nicole Matthews. "The Lariat" didn't make her presence known tonight, but the announcers could reveal that the two would meet each other at My Bloody Valentine. The end came when Yim missed a high kick, Serena deftly ducking and hitting the spear, knocking Yim's wind out of her.
Serena pinned Mia Yim with the Spear in 0:05:22. Rating: ** 1/4
Nikki cashes in Backstage, Nikki Storm is chatting with "The Double D DIva" Jayme Jameson, who after winning the lottery has had a bounty on Saturyne's mask. Last Wired! we saw Storm sneak into Saturyne's apartment and steal the mask. Jameson gladly pays Nikki the promised amount, adding that she heard Saturyne quit - she couldn't take the shame. Storm shrugs, asking what Jameson will do now? Jameson tells Storm that she will take a long vacation in the Caribbean, and that she wouldn't be seeing her for a while.
B****es in Black vs Nikki Storm & Saraya Knight for the TNAW Tag-team titles
The makeshift tag-team of Nikki Storm and Saraya Knight actually managed to defeat Alissa Flash and Sara Del Rey last month, and defended the belts in a brutal Table match which saw Alissa Flash suffer a serious injury, putting her out of business indefinitely. Tonight, Knight and Storm defended their belts for the first time, against the B****es in Black duo of Awesome Kong and Melanie Cruise. Cruise and Kong had the size advantage, and when Saraya Knight looked more worried about watching her back for any Queens of Wrestling wanting to say hi, Nikki Storm were quite alone out there. Saraya did get involved, using her anger to fuel her strength against her bigger opponents. When Sara Del Rey came out in the aisle though, Saraya quickly exited the ring, brawling out alongside Sara. In the ring, Nikki Storm realized that the game was over, and tried getting out of dodge and lose via countout, only to be stopped by Melanie Cruise. She then begged them to just cover her, but a devious Kong simply grinned before Awesome Bombing her - winning the TNAW Tag Team Titles!
Bi***es in Black (Awesome Kong and Melanie Cruise) defeated Nikki Storm and Saraya Knight when Kong pinned N. Storm with the Awesome Bomb in 0:09:48. Rating: ** 1/4 (Bi***es in Black won the TNAW Tag-Team Titles.)
The Old Guard strikes Cruise and Kong had barely gotten their newly won belts when the Old Guard struck. Tara led her charges, Hatred, Winter and the Valkyrie attack the tag champs. In the aisle, Rob Terry stood like a hulking behemoth, easily pushing away Sarona Snuka who tried to come for the rescue. Gail Kim was able to use her panther like agility to get into the ring, but Tara intercepted her there, stomping away on her and hitting the Widows' Peak on the TNAW World Champion. Cruise and Kong may have won the Tag Team Titles, but they did not look much like winners after this match..
Card rating: ** 1/4
Match observations:
We have new Tag Team champions, again! Melanie Cruise wins her fourth title here in TnAW, and she might win a 5th one this Wednesday when she faces Gail Kim for the TNAW World Title on Wired! We have yet another match set for My Bloody Valentine, as the newly crowned tag champs will defend their belts against the Valkyrie and Winter of the Old Guard!

I'm loving the Old Guard as well as the B****es in Black stable. Have been way behind, and just starting to keep up now. Rob Terry as the Old Guard's bodyguard/lackey is an interesting, yet believable choice.

TNAW - Wired! - 12.02.2014
Nikki wants a match at the iPPV We open tonight's Wired in Brooke Hogan's office, where the Scottish mercenary Nikki Storm is demanding to know if she can bank on an iPPV bonus this weekend. Brooke says that she hasn't a match for her so far. Nikki wants Hamada in the ring. A match against the Japanese legend always brings a lot of attention from Japanese media, meaning more money for her. Brooke says that Hamada has taken a leave of absence. Nikki says she'll fix it, and asks for Brooke's guarantee if Hamada is back in time for the iPPV. Brooke agrees.
Leah von Dutch vs Saraya Knight
Saraya Knight is a disturbed individual these days. Not only did she lose her Tag Team Titles last weekend, her daughter is still injured after being attacked in her home in Norwich, England by Sara Del Rey. And now, she has to face the crazy Queen of Wrestling in a Streetfight at My Bloody Valentine. Her victim today, however, was poor Leah von Dutch, who survived a couple of minutes before being put away with a sitout powerbomb.
Saraya Knight pinned Leah von Dutch after a sitout power bomb in 0:01:53. Rating: **
Sitdown interview with Madison Rayne Lenny and Dave host a sitdown interview with Madison Rayne, recently returned from maternity leave and recently announced as the top contender to Kimberly's TV Title. Madison says that all the clichés are true, becoming a mother is the biggest thing that has ever happened to her. Still, with her husband being away on duty, it is tough being a single mom. She is dependant on friends and family if she is to continue her career. She knows that she could have retired gracefully when she got pregnant, but she still feels she has more left to accomplish in her career. When asked about Kimberly, Madison says that Kimberly is her best friend in TNAW, she couldn't have done this without her. She is certain that the two of them can have a friendly contest on My Bloody Valentine, with the best woman winning.
The Old Guard vs The SNS Express
With the tag team titles now in the hands of the B****es in Black, The Old Guard suddenly has another target in sights. Winter and the Valkyrie have already made their challenge clear, and on Sunday, Melanie Cruise and Awesome Kong will defend their belts against Valkyrie and Winter. The duo had a little warm-up match tonight, taking on the Smothers half sisters. Jessie Belle and "Sassy" Stephanie has their teamwork down to the T now, and with Tracey running the motivational and tactical play, they looked poised to grab another win. However, The Old Guard has a guy on the outside themselves, this being Rob Terry who started accosting Tracey on the outside. The girls started to worry about their father, and Valkyrie and Winter took advantage of this, putting Stephanie away.
The Old Guard (The Valkyrie and Winter) defeated The SNS Express (Jessie Belle Smothers and Stephanie Smothers) when Winter pinned Smothers with the Swinging Side Slam in 0:06:42. Rating: 1/2*
Tracey, thou hast sinned! Rob Terry had finally let Tracey go, when Made in Sin, Allysin Kay and Taylor Made came in and started accosting Tracey themselves, telling him that he has sinned for siring two girls outside of wedlock. Tracey is more or less laughing at these religious zealots, but when they start smacking him around, he grabs them and shoves them away. Made in Sin is then attacked from behind by the Smothers' daughters, who warn Made in Sin about pestering them again with their bullshit.
Nicole Matthews interview Backstage, Chasity Taylor speaks with Nicole Matthews about her upcoming match against Serena. Nicole is angry, telling Taylor that she should have been wrestling for titles now, not this pointless grudge match. When asked why the match is pointless, Nicole feels it is obvious - she is way above Serena's level now, and shouldn't be bothered by this. Now, she had a match with Sara Del Rey, and was looking forward to defeating the so-called "Queen of Wrestling" again.
Nicole Matthews vs Sara Del Rey
These two have faced each other several times, and we all remember when Nicole Matthews faked a neck injury following Sara's piledriver last year. Their last meeting was actually in the TV Title tournament, where Nicole got some assistance from the Knight Dynasty in winning the match. Tonight's encounter was as brutal and hateful as the last meetings, both wanting a good result before their respective iPPV matches. The match never got a conclusive ending though, as Saraya Knight attacked Del Rey, causing the dq. Nicole really didn't want to get involved, and let the two combatants brawl on their own. Even after commercials, Sara and Saraya were still trying to fight each other in the ring, separated by a throng of security. In four days, these two collide in a Streetfight!
Sara Del Rey defeated Nicole Matthews by disqualification in 0:05:57. Rating: ** 3/4
A legend is here! Backstage, Rob Terry is walking through the corridors eating some KFC chicken, when he runs into none other than Jimmy Snuka. Snuka tells Terry that on Sunday, his daughter would wrestle and defeat Hailey Hatred, and Rob Terry would do nothing to prevent that. Terry doesn't say anything, just chews on the chicken before offering the bucket to Snuka. Snuka grabs a chicken wing and eats it.
Interview with Kimberly Chasity Taylor speaks with the TNAW TV Title Kimberly. Kimberly says that she is not too happy with facing Madison at My Bloody Valentine. Injuries could, and does happen all the time. She would just feel so guilty if she was to injure Madison.. who would take care of Charley? Kimberly was sure she and Madison could put on a nice display of technical, ground-based wrestling, still showing who the best wrestler was without any head shots.
Gail Kim (c) vs Melanie Cruise for the TNAW World Title
On the third attempt, Gail Kim defeated Melanie Cruise at Pride and Glory in December of last year. Still, when The Old Guard turned on Gail Kim, ousting her from the group, Melanie Cruise came to her support. Cruise and Kim had earned each others respect through their meetings, and together with Sarona Snuka and Awesome Kong, they formed B****es in Black, a fearsome foursome of women dressed in black. Allies they might be, but Cruise still wanted her rematch clause invoked. What we saw was another good bout between these two, Cruise coming agonizingly close to winning her belt back after hitting a spinebuster and then the Flying legdrop. Gail fought back, using her agility and kicking power to full force, even though she considers Cruise a friend now. Cruise back in control as she goes for the Burning Hammer, but Kim wriggles free and hits the Eat Defeat to retain. After the match, Cruise and Kim shake hands.
Gail Kim pinned Melanie Cruise with the Eat Defeat in 0:09:25. Rating: ** 3/4 (Gail Kim retained the TNAW World Title.)
Gail challenges Tara After her successful defense, Gail Kim calls out Tara. The leader of the Old Guard comes out alongside Rob Terry. Gail says that she wasn't surprised that Tara decided to kick her out of The Old Guard when she won the title. IN fact, she expected it. Still, this prize means everything for her, and she wouldn't trade it for anything in the world, let alone her empty friendship. Gail then challenges Tara for a title match at My Bloody Valentine. Tara smiles and says she never thought Gail would ask. It would be a pleasure for her to start her third reign by defeating her.
Card rating: ** 1/4
Match observations:
We are only four days away from My Bloody Valentine, but don't forget Showdown this Saturday!

TNAW - Saturday Night Showdown - 15.02.2014
Hailey Hatred vs Rose Martinez
Rose Martinez is a relatively new acquaintance here in TNAW, but she is not a rookie by any means. She is also the "sister-in-law" of Mercedes Martinez, currently dating Mercedes' brother. That is why we saw Mercedes join Dave and Lenny at ringside. Mercedes also updated the fans on her own injury, promising to be back in less than a month. Rose is a talented wrestler, no doubt, but she lacks both experience, size and power compared to Hailey, who locked in a chickenwing variant she calls the Hate Vice to win the match. After the match, Rose and Mercedes walk out together, Mercedes looking a little bothered by the young wrestler.
Hailey Hatred defeated Rose Martinez when Rose Martinez passed out in the Hate Vice in 0:06:34. Rating: ** 1/2
Footage from Japan We see footage from a show in Japan, where Hamada is wrestling for an organization there. She looks like she is looking for the moonsault, when suddenly a hooded person drags Hamada's opponent away from the impact. Hamada crashes and burns, and when she gets back to her feet, the hooded person hits her with a Michinoku Driver.. which is the same move that the Hamada Driver is based on.. but also The Perfect Storm, as the hooded person reveals herself to be Nikki Storm! Hamada ends up losing that match in Japan, while Nikki Storm apparently has gotten Hamada's attention.
Awesome Kong vs The Valkyrie
The final match before My Bloody Valentine pitted Awesome Kong against the Valkyrie, yet another match in the rivalry between The Old Guard and The B****es in Black. The Valkyrie is a powerful woman, but she still lacks the power of Awesome Kong. It didn't take too long though before the ringside area was full of people cheering on their stablemate, including both Rob Terry and Sarona Snuka's father, Jimmy Snuka! As shouldn't come as a surprise, the two groups crashed together soon enough, and the referee had challenges aplenty watching all sides of the ring. Tara tried to direct Rob Terry, but Jimmy Snuka was ready, chasing Terry away by sheer reputation alone, causing Tara to scream that he shouldn't be afraid of a 100 year old guy. Despite this, it was Winter who managed to clock Kong with a chair behind the referee's back, setting up the beautiful moonsault from the Valkyrie.
The Valkyrie pinned Awesome Kong after a moonsault in 0:07:32. Rating: **

TNAW - My Bloody Valentine - 16.02.2014
Made in Sin vs The SNS Express w/Tracey Smothers
My Bloody Valentine started out with a tag match between two of the freshest teams on the roster. The Smothers half-sisters have gotten a real boost from the teachings of their father, but their opponents, the zealous Made in Sin, have religious fervor as their driving force. The Smothers sisters were put to the test here tonight, but failed in the end as Kay's gogoplata submission gave them the win.
Made in Sin (Allysin Kay and Taylor Made) defeated The SNS Express (Jessie Belle Smothers and Stephanie Smothers) when A. Kay made Smothers submit to the Kay-Gato-Jime in 0:09:58. Rating: -1/4*
Nikki Storm explains her actions Backstage, Chasity Taylor speaks with Nikki Stormn who was last seen in Japan provoking Hamada into a fight for no apparent reason. Nikki says that she is confident that Hamada will be here, and apologizes (ironically) to Nicole Matthews and Serena who will get their match cancelled if Hamada shows up. The if turns into a when when Hamada clubs Nikki from behind, and the two brawl towards the ring.
Nikki Storm vs Hamada
Nikki Storm may be a greedy Scot, but she is one of the up-and-comers in this promotion, that's for sure. Hamada might be on a losing streak right now, but she is still one of the most experienced and talented wrestlers on the roster. Storm's bait worked brilliantly, as a pack of Japanese journalists and photographers gathered around the ring. Nikki seemed to regret angering Hamada for most of the match, being hounded from pillar to post by the Joshi star. But slowly, Nikki's resilience and will to make an iPPV win bonus came into effect, and the match got more even. The two even traded submission moves in an attempt to force the other to quit. The pace quickened even more towards the end, and while Hamada failed to put Storm away with her Hamada Driver, Storm connected a tad better with her own Perfect Storm (basically the same move), earning one of Storm's biggest wins in her career.
Nikki Storm pinned Hamada with the Perfect Storm in 0:09:22. Rating: ****
Hailey Hatred vs Sarona Snuka
These two tagged together at Pride and Glory, but it was all a ruse as Hatred joined the Old Guard at that show. Now, with her father, the legendary Jimmy Snuka at her side, vengeance was nigh. The two big girls slugged it out with fisticuffs and kicks, slamming each other hard into the canvas and even duking it out on the outside. The result was a highly entertaining brawl that got either more interesting when Rob Terry came out to ensure that the Old Guard got a good start tonight. Jimmy Snuka tried to intervene, but the big Briton simply pushed him away. When Snuka tried chopping Terry, Tara's boyfriend made a huge mistake headbutting the Islanders. Even at the age of 70, Snuka is still immune to headbutts, something Terry is NOT. While Snuka was headbutting Terry out of the arena, Sarona hit a spinebuster on Hatred, finishing her off with her father's signature move - the Superfly Splash.
Sarona Snuka pinned Hailey Hatred with the Superfly Splash in 0:07:51. Rating: ***
Britani tries to talk sense to her mother Backstage, Britani Knight on crutches and bandages on her head sobs as she tries to stop her mother from going into that streetfight with Sara Del Rey. She begs her to stop this circle of violence, to let it end now. Alissa Flash injured Saraya. Saraya injured Alissa Flash. Sara Del Rey came to England to beat the crap out of Britani. Let it stop now! Saraya tells Britani that she will never forgive Sara Del Rey. She would much rather forgive Alissa. Britani was the most important thing to her. How could she forgive?
B****es in Black (c's) vs The Old Guard for the TNAW World Tag Team Titles
It was time for our first of three title matches. The Old Guard have had this belt before, but the B****es in Black didn't want to lose the titles on their first defense. Cruise and Kong are bigger than both their opponents, and used their power and strength to sap the strength out of the challengers. Kong and Cruise are enjoying their second reign as tag champs (first together though), but it was obvious that they hadn't worked enough together as a team. They won the titles more or less due to Sara Del Rey luring Saraya Knight away and Nikki Storm surrendering, but it is clear that they needed to win this bout on individual qualities, rather than team-work. So when Winter used on of her many tricks to gain the advantage, she and Valkyrie kept Kong in their corner for several minutes, working over the champion. Minutes of torment were broken up when Kong broke through the double clothesline attempt and hit one of her own. B****es in Black were in heaven for exactly 10 seconds as Cruise hit clotheslines on both her opponents before Winter got back up on her feet and hit a schoolgirl out of nowhere. Valkyrie visibly aided in the pinfall, but the referee let it slide, and the Old Guard are NEW tag-team champions!
The Old Guard (The Valkyrie and Winter) defeated Bi***es in Black (Awesome Kong and Melanie Cruise) when Winter pinned M. Cruise after a schoolgirl roll up in 0:12:31. Rating: * 3/4 (The Old Guard won the TNAW Tag-Team Titles.)
Kimberly (c) vs Madison Rayne for the TNAW TV Title
Time for one of the most emotional title matches in a long time. When Madison Rayne returned to TNAW last year, she took young Kimberly under her wing in the tag-team Confidence. Kimberly's confidence blossomed, and even if Madison soon became pregnant, Kimberly's singles career, aided by Rayne's mentorship, skyrocketed. At Pride & Glory, Kimberly crowned the spectacular 2013 by winning the TV Title. Tonight, mentor and trainee would meet for that belt. The two good friends started out with some nice chain wrestling and some catch-as-catch-can, before amping it up with armdrags and monkey flips. So far so good, but when Rayne hit a back elbow, apparently catching Kimberly on the jaw, tempers started to flare and suplexes started to fly. These two know each other so well, so when Madison whipped Kimberly into the ropes and readied the Running Big Boot, Kimberly ducked. A nice series of reversals later, and Madison was down and out with the Shuttle 151. Rayne did move her foot to the ropes at the last second, but the referee didn't see it and awarded the match to Kimberly! Rayne wasn't happy about the decision at all, but hugged Kimberly afterwards anyway.
Kimberly pinned Madison Rayne with the Shuttle 151 in 0:07:10. Rating: ** 3/4 (Kimberly retained the TNAW TV Title.)
Sara Del Rey vs Saraya Knight - Streetfight
This was without doubt one of the most brutal matches ever seen on live iPPV. Knight and Del Rey tore into each other from the get go, and even spent almost five minutes fighting on the outside before even setting foot in the ring. Chairs, guard-rails and ringsteps were used to inflict pain upon each other. The hatred emanating from both women were palpable, as Saraya swored and cursed Sara's name as she rammed her head into the wall. When they did get into the ring, it was only so that Sara could spear Saraya through a table in the corner. It wasn't the only table in the ring, as Saraya power-bomb Sara through another one! Saraya kept focusing on Sara's back, slamming her on the concrete floor on the outside. Saraya's back wasn't spared either, as Sara hit the Royal Butterfly on the ramp. The end came when Saraya found an iron pipe laying about, hitting Sara over the back with it several times before locking in the Bridal Rocking Horse, an excruciating move that puts even more pressure on the back. Sara had no choice but to submit. That didn't stop Saraya though, who kept on cinching in the hold. Ref Mattano tried to force the release, but got head-butted in the process. Other referee's stayed their distance, as Saraya was spitting at them. Britani Knight tried to persuade her as well, pointing out that Sara had passed out a long time ago. Saraya said she wouldn't let go until Sara had broken every bone in her body. At that point, Britani Knight cracks the crutch over Saraya's head, as she starts crying. Referee's take care of Sara Del Rey, while Britani tries to apologize to her mother laying unconscious on the ramp.
No-Countout-No-DQ-Falls-Count-Anywhere Match: Saraya Knight made Sara Del Rey submit to the Bridal Rocking Horse in 0:15:23. Rating: **** 1/4
Gail Kim vs Tara
After that brutal and emotional match, it was time for your main event, as Tara tried to become an unprecedented three times TNAW World Champion. Gail Kim was confident of victory, even though a Rob Terry (sporting a black eye courtesy of Jimmy Snuka) was present. Gail knew she had support in the back, and that they would show up when needed. Gail and Tara know each other well, and they put on a solid match with both wrestlers gaining enough opportunities to put away lesser opponents. But, neither of them could be called that, so the match raged on. Rob Terry tried to hold a low profile, but when Gail Kim got thrown out right next to him, he couldn't resist sending her into the guard-rail. This brought out the entire B****es in Black, who, angry for losing the tag-team titles attacked Rob Terry en masse. This brought out the Old Guard as well, and a big brawl erupted, a brawl that spilled into the ring and inadvertently knocked out the referee. Full chaos ensued as both the ring and ringside area were filled with brawling wrestlers. Then, Brooke Hogan comes out and says that this must stop, immediately. She ejects everyone from the ringside area, if not she will vacate the title and makes sure none of the Bitches or the Old Guard are in the tournament to win it. Slowly but surely, the ring empties for anyone but the World Champ and the challenger. Brooke adds that none of the other refs wants to ref their match, so she has to do it on her own. She strips ref Remsburg and dons the ref shirt herself. Brooke gets in both wrestler's face early on for minor infractions, but when Gail starts choking Tara over the ropes, Brooke is close to disqualifying her. The lecture gives Tara enough time to retrieve the title belt which she clocks Gail Kim with. In full view of Brooke Hogan! Hogan does nothing, and Tara makes the cover.. 1..2..3! Tara is the new World Champion, but what a disgrace. What a screwjob!
Tara pinned Gail Kim after an inverted power bomb in 0:11:08. Rating: *** 1/4 (Tara won the TNAW World Title.)
The Old Guard celebrate The Old Guard celebrate their double title wins tonight alongside Brooke Hogan, who removes the referee shirt and dons an Old Guard shirt. B****es in Black get in and gather up Gail Kim, vowing that this isn't going to end here. The crowd pelts the ring with garbage as the show goes off the air.
Card rating: *** 1/4
Match observations:
Another great iPPV is in the books. Saraya Knight wins another tough battle as Sara Del Rey gets the beating of her lifetime, but is subsequently struck down by her own daughter!
Tara wins the TNAW World Title with the help of General Manager Brooke Hogan, what is that all about?
Kimberly retains the TV Title, but the ref DID miss Madison's foot on the ropes.

TNAW - Wired! - 19.02.2014
Heidi Lovelace vs Rose Martinez
Rose Martinez was in action against Heidi Lovelace in the opener tonight. Mercedes Martinez' sister-in-law is a talented wrestler, no doubt about that, but she displays a childish naiveté that will get her into trouble soon enough. She falls for the easiest tricks, like the old handshake-turns-into-kick-in-the-guts trick. Twice! Despite this, she stayed on like a true fighter, especially when Mercedes Martinez came out to watch. Mercedes is soon back from injury, and Dave Prazak wondered if the two would team up? Despite being punished for much of the match, Rose hit an Ace crusher (called the Rose Cutter) out of nowhere to pick up the win. After the match, Rose tried to shake Heidi's hand, only to be kicked in the gut. Again.
Rose Martinez pinned Heidi Lovelace with the Rose Cutter in 0:04:54. Rating: **
Brooke explains herself Brooke Hogan comes out, flanked by the Old Guard, to massive boos and jeers from the crowd. When the ruckus finally calms down, Brooke explains her actions last Sunday. Brooke had gone over the numbers, both Nielsen ratings for tv shows and iPPV buys. Without a doubt - the greatest number of views TNAW has had, was when Tara was champion. She did what she had to do in order to save TNAW, to save Showdown. She sold her soul, just like her father did to nWo all those years ago. And the truth is, she is proud to have done so, proud to have aligned herself with a powerful faction such as The Old Guard! She removes her top to reveal an Old Guard t-shirt below. Brooke promises to do everything she can to help Tara keep the title as long as possible! The B****es in Black come out, led by Gail Kim. The former world champion told Brooke that she pitied her for always thinking that she needed to follow in her father's footsteps. Gail would reclaim her World Title at any cost, and Brooke would not stay in her way!
Madison and Kimberly clear the air Backstage, Kimberly and Madison Rayne are preparing for their tag match, and at the same time arguing over what happened at My Bloody Valentine, where Kimberly retained her TV Title despite Madison having her foot draped across the bottom rope. Kimberly admitted that she had seen the footage, and yes, the referee should not have awarded her the match then and there. But she DID hit her Shuttle 151, she would have won moments later in any case. Madison argues that if she was able to drape her foot across the rope, she would have been able to kick out three seconds later. They end up agreeing to disagree, and also agreed to put this behind them tonight.
Confidence vs Made in Sin
Made in Sin emerged victorious from their very first iPPV match at My Bloody Valentine, but faced tougher competition tonight in Kimberly and Madison Rayne. Despite having some issues over how their title match this Sunday ended, Madison and Kimberly showed great team-work together. It could look like Rayne had hired a babysitter tonight, as she wasn't distracted at all. Taylor and Allysin did what they could to steer the match in their direction, but the zealots couldn't prevent the TV champ from hitting a crucifix on Kay, winning the match for the BFFs.
Kimberly and Madison Rayne defeated Made in Sin (Allysin Kay and Taylor Made) when Kimberly pinned A. Kay after a crucifix in 0:08:20. Rating: ** 1/4
Old Guard celebration Backstage, the Old Guard locker room has been lavishly appointed for a grand celebration. Rob Terry has brought some of his body-building friends over for a party, and the girls are really having a good time. The Valkyrie is preparing for her match against Melanie Cruise up next by doing squats with Winter on her shoulders. The Briton telling her that the former TNAW World Champ has nothing on her. In fact, there are a lot of ex champs over at the B****es in Black, while there are a lot of current champs in the Old Guard. Winter and Valkyrie hold up their tag team titles, telling Kong and Cruise to look good and hard at the belts, for they were not coming back to them.
Melanie Cruise vs The Valkyrie
These two sluggers started trading punches, forearms and chops, and the sound of their strikes reverberated throughout the arena. Maybe the Old Guard was busy with their party, but The Valkyrie was on her own tonight, and so was Melanie Cruise. The Valkyrie is still pretty new to the industry, and while she has a ripped physique, she doesn't posess the raw strength or the pure power of Melanie Cruise, who planted the Valkyrie with a spinebuster to win the first encounter between the two stables tonight.
Melanie Cruise pinned The Valkyrie after a spinebuster in 0:06:40. Rating: * 1/2
B****es in Black respond Chasity Taylor is backstage with Gail Kim, Awesome Kong and Sarona Snuka. Kim says that while MBV was far from a success for the B****es, Snuka did pick up a huge win over Hailey Hatred. The Old Guard may have won the battle and gained a powerful ally, but they had far from won the war.
Awesome Kong vs Winter
Even if both the Old Guard and the B****es in Black stayed out of the previous match, the same did not hold true for the main event of the evening. The Old Guard came out early to help Winter in this fight against the much larger Kong, which led the B****es out too. The referee had severe troubles keeping order in the match, and at one point he tried to end the match due to the amount of interference from both sides. This brought out Brooke Hogan and security, who told the referee to continue the fight, and that every woman not involved in the match, had to leave the ringside area. This did NOT include Rob Terry (not being a woman and all), who was allowed to stay at ringside despite the protests of the B****es. And despite Kong almost crushing Winter on several occasions, the travesty was a fact when Brooke Hogan distracted the referee, allowing Rob Terry to hit Kong with a hard right, sending her straight into a roll up from Winter.
Winter pinned Awesome Kong after a schoolgirl roll up in 0:09:08. Rating: *** 1/4
Card rating: ** 1/2
Match observations:
With Brooke Hogan on their side, The Old Guard look more powerful than ever. They possess two out of three titles and are the driving force behing TNAW right now. But if someone can turn the tide, it is Gail Kim & Company.
Tune in this Saturday, when Serena will face Nicole Matthews in a match originally scheduled for My Bloody Valentine!
