TNAW - Saturday Night Showdown - 22.02.2014
Gail Kim vs Nikki Storm
Welcome back to TNAW Saturday Night Showdown here on TV! Our first match of the evening saw Nikki Storm take on the former TNAW World Champion Gail Kim. It was a huge opportunity for Nikki, and a chance for Gail to rebound after her loss to Tara at My Bloody Valentine. Neither the B****es or the Old Guard were to be seen, but Gail still struggled against Nikki's arsenal of cheap tricks and maneuvers. Still, Gail's experience and desire to get back on top of the mountain again led to her getting the upper hand, aiming for the Eat Defeat. Nikki had scouted Gail though, wriggled out of it and pushed Gail away into the corner. Nikki ran into her, but ate a boot. Gail tried to climb the buckle, but Nikki caught her and delivered a devastating fisherman's neckbreaker from the middle rope to pull of a big upset here tonight!
Nikki Storm pinned Gail Kim after a fisherman's neckbreaker in 0:06:37. Rating: **
Nikki realizes something vital Nikki was extremely happy and shocked to be winning the match, and went over to the ring announcer and told him to bring her the belt. After a short while, Nikki realized that Gail wasn't the champ anymore! She grabbed a microphone and told Gail that without the title around her waist, she was nothing - not worth Nikki's time or effort. Gail tried to protest, but Nikki picked her up and hit the Perfect Storm.
Britani tries to make amends with her mother Chasity Taylor tries to get a few words with Britani Knight, but the young Briton is on the phone, trying to get hold of her mother, Saraya Knight. Britani is upset that she doesn't answer her phone, and tells Chasity that it's been like this for days now. Chasity reminds Britani that she might not be as popular with her mother after her actions at My Bloody Valentine, when she had to forcefully kick Saraya in the head to have her let go of Sara Del Rey. Britani says she's sorry she had to do that, but there has been enough bloodshed in this feud. She just wants to be done with this and to get going with her goals, which is to win titles here in TNAW.
Nicole Matthews vs Serena
These two were originally scheduled to wrestle at My Bloody Valentine, but the match was dropped when Nikki Storm's ploy to taunt Hamada into accepting her challenge succeeded. They were instead given the main event spot here on Showdown, and the two women did not disappoint, putting on a clinic where chain-wrestling and rest holds soon gave way to powerful slams, suplexes and punches. They spent several stints on the outside as well, and were always really close to being counted out. Finally, they stopped heeding the referee's count, and simply brawled out of the ring area. Nothing has been settled between these two tonight, and we will most certainly see the pair again later!
Nicole Matthews and Serena battled to a double countout in 0:10:45. Rating: *** 1/2
Card rating: *** 1/2
Match observations:
Nikki Storm with a huge upset beating Gail Kim tonight, and Nicole Matthews and Serena show that they are equally matched!
On Wired this Wednesday, Hailey Hatred and Sarona Snuka face each other in a re-match from My Bloody Valentine - in a towel match!

TNAW - Wired! - 26.02.2014
Brooke cornered Brooke Hogan locks herself into her office, only to find out it's already occupied - by the B****es in Black. Brooke tries to run away, but is stopped by Melanie Cruise. Gail Kim tells Brooke that they won't hurt her - they know she's in a position to fire them if she so chooses. They just want Brooke to know that she has not managed to break them. They WILL strike back and they will win their titles back. They want a clean match tonight in the Towel Match between Hailey Hatred and Sarona Snuka. Disrespecting the hall of famer, Sarona's father Jimmy, wasn't a good business move - and Brooke knew that. Brooke looks terrified, and when the B****es leaves, she screams in anger and throws a vase into the wall.
Jessica Havock vs Stephanie Smothers w/Tracey Smothers
Tracey Smothers' daughters are both in singles action tonight, but both were up against rather stiff opposition. Havock is a big and powerful wrestler, but she always comes up short when she's faced with qualified opponents. Stephanie had a couple of comebacks where she might have put Jessica down, but the sneering Havock is in another league than Smothers right now, and put her away with a power bomb variation.
Jessica Havock pinned Stephanie Smothers after The HavoKiller in 0:04:06. Rating: * 1/4
Nikki Storm interview Chasity Taylor stands by with Nikki Storm. Her Scottish dialect has been partially cut away, it's obvious that Nikki wants to be heard. She said that this Saturday, she defeated former world champion Gail Kim in the middle of the ring. If the match had taken place seven days earlier, she would be the first Scottish TNAW champion. In fact, Nikki Storm deserved a shot at the TNAW World Title, currently held by.. Tara. At this point, a trainer approaches Nikki and tells her that Brooke Hogan wants to talk with her later tonight. Nikki beams, telling Chasity that she is probably about to give her a title match.
Jessica Havock interview Chasity Taylor has found a new interviewee, and it's Jessica Havock. She congratulates her with her fine win, but Jessica snatches the mic away from her and tells her she didn't come here to wrestle the likes of Stephanie Smothers in the opening match on a WebTV show. She came here to wrestle for World titles on iPPVs! She tells Chasity to make it happen. Chasity tries to tell Jessica that she is only an announcer, but Jessica grabs hold of her, telling her to make sure she has a match at the Caged Fury iPPV - or else!
Mother and daughter vent it out We then witnessed a really bizarre scene, as Britani Knight came out just before her mother was to face Mia Yim. With Yim still in the ring, Britani started to yell at her mother for not taking her calls. Before Saraya get a word in, Britani tells Saraya to stop this vendetta of her. She's won. Alissa Flash is gone. Sara Del Rey is gone. Listening to the crowd.. it's safe to say that their support from the crowd is gone. Saraya snatches the mic from Britani, telling her that she didn't care about the fans. She didn't care about the health of Del Rey or Flash. All she cared about, was her family. And when Britani kicked her in the head at My Bloody Valentine, she felt betrayed by one of her own. But she was a forgiving sort, and would very much like to forget what happened. After briefly holding the tag team titles with Nikki Storm, she would like to repeat that feeling - with her daughter. This reunion of sorts was interrupted by Mia Yim, who felt she had been polite long enough. She grabbed the mic, telling them to continue this soap opera elsewhere. A kick to the gut from Saraya and a neckbreaker from Britani was the response from the Knights.
Mia Yim vs Saraya Knight
While Mia had an uphill battle to get back into the match, the agile oriental beauty managed to do so, almost upstaging the veteran Briton on a couple of occasions. While Yim's kicks can be described as elegant and beautiful, Saraya's punts were more brutal and barbaric, but still as deadly. Combining Saraya's brutality and Mia's martial arts mayhem became a thing of beauty, as the fans were thoroughly entertained in the few minutes of this match. After being the victim of a power bomb, Mia was trapped in the Bridal Rocking Horse, slowly passing out of the pain. Unlike Sara Del Rey though, Saraya released the hold soon after the referee called for the bell.
Saraya Knight defeated Mia Yim when Mia Yim passed out in the Bridal Rocking Horse in 0:06:13. Rating: ****
Nikki Storms new job Nikki Storm was in Brooke Hogan's office, eagerly awaiting what she truly believed to be a world title shot. Brooke congratulates her on her great win this Saturday, and says she is in need of someone who knows how to handle Gail Kim. Nikki doesn't understand, she thought she was here to receive a world title shot. Brooke says that she needs her as a bodyguard. For now, she needs to stay away from Tara's world title. Nikki flatly states she's not interested in running around as her bodyguard, when Brooke shows Nikki her salary. Storm's eyes widens and she suddenly changes her mind, telling Brooke that nobody will touch her unless they go through her!
Jessie Belle Smothers vs Tara w/Rob Terry
Jessie Belle Smothers hadn't more luck than her sister, falling to Tara's Widow's Peak after a couple of minutes. After the match, she and Rob Terry had a kissing seancé that made Lenny Leonard recommend anyone watching this on VOD, to fast forward.
Tara pinned Jessie Belle Smothers with the Widow's Peak in 0:01:59. Rating: * 3/4
Nicole meets an old friend Backstage, Nicole Matthews and Heidi Lovelace are talking, when a small brunette approaches Nicole. The two of them greet each other as old friends, complete with a secret handshake of sorts. Nicole lights up when the brunette tells her she has a contract with TNAW now, and the two promises to make life miserable for the tag team ranks in TNAW. But first, Serena must be taken care of. The brunette excuses herself for the ladies room. Heidi asks who she is, and Nicole tells her that she is Portia Perez, her old tag team partner from Canada. They were known as The Canadian Ninjas, and were the best damn tag team in Canadian history. Together, they will conquer the tag team ranks of TNAW.
Hailey Hatred w/Rob Terry vs Sarona Snuka w/Jimmy Snuka in a Towel Match
Another chapter in the battles between the Old Guard and the B****es in Black was fought tonight, as Sarona Snuka faced Hailey Hatred in a Towel Match. With legendary Jimmy Snuka as his daughter's corner man, Hailey was pretty certain of victory. Rob Terry was in her corner, and was sternly told not to throw in the towel for anything. Hailey's Japanese-inspired style is a slow but steadily way of breaking down her opponent's bodies, but Sarona's body-builder background made it more difficult for Hailey. Still, Hailey took the advantage, using several innovative submission moves in order to force Jimmy to throw in the towel. To some surprise, he didn't, telling Dave Prazak at the announce booth that his daughter is made of tougher stuff than this. The beating continued, and both Dave and Lenny couldn't understand why Jimmy doesn't throw in the towel. Snuka managed to turn the match though, planting Hailey with a spinebuster and climbing up top for a Superfly Splash. Rob Terry almost looked bored where he sat, and refused to throw in the towel even though Sarona hit a second Superfly Splash. Hailey was completely out of it, and Sarona went for a third one. Jimmy then persuaded Rob to throw in the towel by telling him that nobody of them wanted to stay here forever. Snuka bests Hatred, who's carried out by Terry.
Towel Match: Sarona Snuka (w/Jimmy Snuka) defeated Hailey Hatred (w/Rob Terry) with the Superfly Splash in 0:09:48. Rating: **
Card rating: ** 1/4

TNAW - Saturday Night Showdown - 01.03.2014
Canadian Ninjas! Welcome back to Saturday Night Showdown! Chasity Taylor stands by with Nicole Matthews and Portia Perez - the most recent tag teams in TNAWs tag-team ranks. Portia and Nicole say that they are here to show USA how real tag-team wrestling is done. Nobody knows each other as well or complements each other so well as they do. But first, Nicole has to get rid of that pesky Serena, and CHasity's lets everyone know that a rematch is set for Wired! this Wednesday. And now - Portia was about to prove that Canada was superior to Japan as well.
Hamada vs Portia Perez
Hamada has returned from Japan, and even though she lost to Nikki Storm at My Bloody Valentine, she looked refreshed and full of vigor. It didn't take long for Portia Perez to make herself unpopular, taking her time to jawjack with the fans on her way in to the ring. When she got out-wrestled in the ring, she went to the ropes to break up wristlocks, earning the ire of the fans even more. And when Hamada really started to switch up the gears, hitting Perez with a drop-kick, Perez simply called it a day and left. Not the most impressive debut of the Canadian, and the fans let her hear it!
Hamada defeated Portia Perez by countout in 0:08:52. Rating: ** 1/2
Brooke stacks the tables Before our main event title match between the Old Guard and B****es in Black, Brooke Hogan came out alongside her new bodyguard, Nikki Storm. Brooke said that her father taught her one thing about titles, it was that a title meant more with long, firm title reigns, like those of her father. The tag titles have been in turmoil ever since Del Rey and Flash lost them, switching hands three times since. Well, she wanted to strengthen the tag titles again, making it more difficult to win them. Tonight, the Old Guard could add a third member of their stable! The crowd showed Hogan how displeased they were with her decision, but Nikki Storm applauded it. Well, this looks like a difficult task for Kong and Cruise.
The Old Guard (c's) vs B****es in Black for the TNAW Tag-Team Titles
Kong and Cruise were outmatched and outnumbered, but made the best out of it during the match. With Storm, Tara and Terry also out ringside, Kong and Cruise must have felt like they went into a lion's den. Even if Kong and Cruise managed to fend of Valkyrie and Winter in the start, the larger Hatred more than matched the strength of Cruise, if not of Kong. And with the option of tagging more swiftly and to switch it up more often, Kong and Cruise fought a hopeless battle. Kim and Snuka came out to watch the match, but got a stern warning from not only the Old Guard, but also from General Manager Brooke Hogan. Feeling helpless more than in extreme pain, Kong tapped out to the Hatred Lock, seeing the futility of the match. The crowd booed the Old Guard and their posse, but the fact remains, with Brooke Hogan on their side, they seem unstoppable.
Handicap-Match: The Old Guard (Hailey Hatred, The Valkyrie and Winter) defeated Bi***es in Black (Awesome Kong and Melanie Cruise) when H. Hatred defeated Kong when Kong passed out in the Hatred Lock in 0:06:52. (The Old Guard retained their TNAW Tag-Team Titles) Winter suffered an elbow injury. She will be out for approximately 1 card. Rating: ** 3/4
Card rating: ** 3/4
Match observations:
The Old Guard rules Showdown with a firm hand - who can stop them?

TNAW - Wired! - 05.03.2014
Nikki's first task Welcome to a new edition of Wired! here on live Internet. We open tonight's show with footage from the parking lot outside of the arena, where Brooke Hogan arrives. As she locks her car, Heidi Lovelace suddenly shows up, asking for opportunities and that she deserved a break! The situation was completely non-threatening, but Brooke freaked out and started to shout for Nikki Storm, who appears from behind the car. Brooke's new bodyguard is dressed in leather with dark sun-glasses and tells Heidi in no uncertain terms to f*** off or suffer the consequences. Heidi backs off, but not before Brooke told Heidi that she would get her wish - a match against Nikki tonight!
Two pair Martinez? Backstage, Mercedes Martinez is slowly but steadily getting back into match shape. Her sister-in-law, Rose Martinez is apparently happier to see her than vice versa. When Rose asks Mercedes if she wants a tag partner now that both Alissa Flash and Sara Del Rey are gone, Mercedes rejects her, saying that she might be her brother's girlfriend, but she didn't want to go around looking after her in a place she was clearly outmatched in.
Madison Rayne vs Mia Yim
Madison Rayne is back in full here in TNAW, and almost got the better of Kimberly and the TNAW TV Title back at My Bloody Valentine. The two BFFs had some disputes over how the match ended, but it seems like they have patched things up now. Kimberly was ringside for this match, a match Madison had to chain-wrestle in order to keep Mia from using her agility and hard kicks. Madison has a trick or two up her sleeve herself, hitting the Rayne Drop overdrive to book another W for the former Beautiful People.
Madison Rayne pinned Mia Yim with the Rayne Drop in 0:04:02. Rating: ***
Tempers start to flare After her win, Kimberly climbs into the ring, grabs a mic and congratulates Madison with the victory. She says if Madison keeps up the good work, neither she nor Tara can stop her from claiming title shots. Madison smiles, and says that it really doesn't matter if she gets title opportunities, if the referee doesn't pay attention to what's happening in the ring. Kimberly gets annoyed, and asks Madison when she is going to drop this. Madison apologizes, and says that her temper got the better of her. Their friendship is more important. Kimberly says that it is obvious that their friendship is strained as long as they cannot decide who the better wrestler is. Kimberly then proposes a new TV Title match against Madison this Saturday on Showdown! Madison considers the proposal for a short while, before shaking Kimberly's hand. Rematch time this Saturday!
Interview with the Knights A video of Dave Prazak talking to mother and daughter Knight airs. Saraya says that the wars with Alissa Flash and Sara Del Rey brought out something primal within her, a force that she thought she had lost. Her revenge was the culmination of many years worth of planning, and the bestial side of her really shone. She could easily understand why many fans have turned their backs to them, but the most important thing for Saraya is her family and their health. Britani then said that they had some issues at My Bloody Valentine after Saraya didn't want to let go of Sara Del Rey. Britani said that she felt the war should end before more people got hurt.
Dave Prazak points out that the Knight vendetta forced both Flash and Del Rey out of TNAW, and that they were the clear-cut winners. What now? THe Knights said that they would definetely go for the tag team titles. It was their destiny to be the first mother-daughter-team to win a major tag title.
Heidi Lovelace vs Nikki Storm
Nikki Storm was sent out to teach Heidi Lovelace a lesson, but Nikki Storm doesn't work that way. Nikki Storm follows the money and a wrestler isn't paid by the hour or paid to wrestle an entertaining style. After an easy opening minute, Nikki lured Heidi to the outside where she trapped Lovelace between the apron and the ring skirt. Nikki then smashed her head into the ringpost and taped her hands to it with duct tape. The entire situation was quite ridiculous, but the referee had no other choice than to call it a countout victory.
Nikki Storm defeated Heidi Lovelace by countout in 0:03:06. Rating: * 3/4
Gail blitzes Nikki Looking to get some revenge from Nikki's post match attack on Showdown 10 days ago, former TNAW World Champion Gail Kim came running to attack Nikki. The Scot managed to evade Gail and retreat up the ramp, where she tripped and was beset by Kim. Out came Brooke Hogan, who warned Gail not to touch Nikki. As her body guard, she represented the GM office, and an attack on her, should be seen as an attack on her. Instead, she books Gail against Nikki next week on Wired!
Nicole Matthews vs Serena
Serena and Nicole Matthews tried to settled their score once again. Their last attempt ended in a double countout, and the feuding women wanted a decisive result now. Nicole's friend, Portia Perez was nowhere to be seen, and the two had a competitive bout with a lot of decent action going on. Nicole showed another trick or two, utilizing a perfect Northern Lights for a two count. Serena is a fiery one for sure, and her raining down on Nicole with lefts and rights sent the Canadian reeling. Even if Portia Perez didn't accompany Nicole to the ring at the start, she did make herself known later, coming down to distract the referee and Serena. In the confusion, she managed to slip Nicole brass knux! When Serena turned around, she was knocked out cold by Nicole, who quickly pocketed them and went for the pinfall victory.
Nicole Matthews pinned Serena after hitting her with brass knuckles in 0:05:59. Rating: *** 1/2
Beatdown and failed save The Canadian Ninjas didn't exactly ingratiate themselves with the fans after this cheap win, and their antics after the match didn't help either. They put the boots to Serena, lifting her up so that Nicole could hit the lariat on her. Rose Martinez came out for the save, but only managed to take Nicole out temporarily, before Portia blitzed her and put the boots to her as well. The Ninjas have really made an impact here tonight!
No love for sister-in-law After commercial, we see a tired and bruised Rose Martinez go to her sister-in-law Mercedes for help after being beat down by the Canadian Ninjas. Mercedes responds with anger - not at the Ninjas - but at her. She tells Rose that she shouldn't be her. She doesn't belong here and Mercedes cannot spend her time looking after her. She tells Rose to go pack her bags and go home. Rose almost starts crying at this, obviously wanting to impress Mercedes, but ultimately failing.
Melanie Cruise vs Tara
Tonight's main event was a match we've seen several times before, as these two had five title matches against each other over the course of five months last year. This match wasn't for the title, but was yet another battle in the war between The Old Guard and Bi****s in Black. Tara and Cruise are two of the largest and most powerful women in TNAW, and they didn't hold anything back. It didn't take long before The Old Guard became involved, and with the General Manager present, the referee didn't dare disqualify Tara for any shenanigans committed. This didn't sit well with the Bi****s, who came out in full force, tackling the Old Guard head on. The full-sized brawl led the referee to throw out the match. While originally a no-contest, Brooke Hogan has reversed the decision to a dq victory for Tara.
Tara defeated Melanie Cruise by disqualification in 0:07:57. Rating: ** 1/2
Card rating: ** 3/4
Match observations:
The war between the Old Guard and B*****s in Black is getting rather ridiculous, with Brooke Hogan's involvement clearly an example of corruption. How long can the wrestlers, the fans and more importantly, the board, sit idly by and watch this unfold?
Don't forget Showdown this Saturday, where Kimberly defends her TV Title against Madison Rayne.

TNAW - Saturday Night Showdown - 08.03.2014
Kimberly ready for her match Welcome to another edition of Showdown! As we open the show, we see Chasity Taylor standing by with Kimberly, who is all ready to go for her TV Title defense against BFF Madison Rayne. Kimberly says that the mood has been a little tense lately, but this match will clear the air and settle the issue once and for all. Chasity asks: "WIn or lose, you two will be BFFs again afterwards?" Kimberly gets annoyed at the question, telling Chasity that she wishes Madison all the luck in the world, but she won't be going home with HER TV Title.
Hamada vs Jessica Havock
Jessica Havock has been a menacing presence in TNAW for months, but doesn't seem to get the job done when wrestling top-tier competitors. Even though she has been in a rut lately, former TNAW World Champion Hamada is absolutely considered a top-tier wrestler and was a fine challenge for the younger Havock. Jessica's size and strength is known to all, and she can brawl and power wrestle with the best of them. She lacked the speed, agility and experience of Hamada however, and even if J-Hav got to throw Ayako around a little bit, a series of well-placed kicks to the thigs and a cross-body from the corner was enough to stun Havock, allowing Hamada to hoist the big woman up with the AP Cross for the win.
Hamada pinned Jessica Havock with the AP Cross in 0:05:04. Rating: ** 1/2
Revenge attack! Hamada spent a little too much time celebrating her victory, as Jessica Havock suddenly blitzed her from behind when she was perched on the top turnbuckle. Hamada never recovered from the attack, and after pummeling and stomping away on her for a short while, Jessica hit the Demon Drop on her, laying her out in the ring! What a sore loser.
Madison Rayne vs Kimberly (c) for the TNAW TV Title
The crowd was hot for this one, but also split right along the middle for who to cheer for. It was tense in the ring in the early goings, with a lot of testing the waters. As is common when two friends wrestle, there is a focus on technical wrestling, holds and bars mostly, not so much punches, kicks and powerful throws. So was it here, with Kimberly hitting beautiful armdrags and Rayne charging into the corner, catapulting Kimberly out with the monkey flip. After Madison hit Kimberly with a drop kick on the jaw, tempers started to flare a little, with the girls chopping and slapping each others, stinging each other's chests. Friendship was temporarily thrown out the window as they battled for the TV Title and the right to call themselves better than the other. Kimberly even hit Madison with the Shuttle 151, believing herself to have won when the ref hit the canvas for the third time. However, the ref did see Madison's foot on the ropes, and called off Kimberly's victory celebration. Kimberly responded by pushing the referee down! Ref Gorie threatened to dq Kimberly, but it was a good thing he didn't, as Madison struck from behind, hitting the Rayne Drop and knocking Kimberly out! Madison covered her friend and is the new TV Champion!
Madison Rayne pinned Kimberly with the Rayne Drop in 0:08:21. Rating: *** 1/2 (Madison Rayne won the TNAW TV Title.)
Card rating: *** 1/4
Match observations:
Madison Rayne is the new TV Champion after hitting the Rayne Drop on Kimberly! How will Kimberly react now that her best friend is the TV champion?

TNAW - Wired! - 12.03.2014
Tag title match cancelled Tonight's Wired! opens in Brooke Hogan's office, where the Knight Dynasty is clearly upset. Also present in the room, are Rob Terry, Brooke Hogan, Nikki Storm and Winter with her right arm in a sling. Brooke is explaining to the Knights (Saraya in particular) that Winter has an injured elbow, and is not cleared to wrestle. Saraya calls Winter a coward, telling her that she cannot possibly be British. She tells Brooke to invoke the Freebirds rule, as has been done in the past by Old Guard. Brooke says that's not going to happen, and that the tag title match has been cancelled. However, the Knight Dynasty will get the chance to shine anyway, against the Canadian Ninjas. Saraya's explicit response is bleeped out, but with Rob Terry present, the Knight matron doesn't get physical.
Brooke angry with Nikki After the Knight Dynasty has left, Brooke Hogan turns her attention to Nikki Storm, and demands to know why Nikki didn't destroy Heidi Lovelace last week. Nikki doesn't understand what she did wrong, she did defeat her, didn't she? Brooke says she didn't want a countout victory, she wanted Nikki to crush her. Storm says she'll do better next time, but for her, a win bonus is a win bonus is a win bonus.
Allysin Kay vs Hamada
With Taylor Made ringside, the spiked bra-wearing Allysin Kay held her own for a while against the veteran Hamada. Kay wasn't playing the religious zealot role too much, maybe Hamada doesn't go around sinning? Hamada is looking to rejuvenate her career, and after falling to opponents in the other spectrum of their career, Kay was an opponent she had to beat. Hamada averted an interference attempt by Taylor Made and finished off Kay with the AP Cross.
Hamada pinned Allysin Kay with the AP Cross in 0:05:02. Rating: ** 1/2 [Taylor Made interfered against Hamada.]
Mercedes changes her mind A vignette airs of Rose Martinez trying to help Serena from being beat down one week ago. We then go backstage, where Mercedes is preparing for her match later on. Rose comes by in street clothes, wishing Mercedes good luck. She is here to turn in her resignation. It is clear that Mercedes doesn't want her here, so she'll leave. As she turns around, Mercedes stops her and slaps her. She then shouts at Rose for quitting too easily. For some reason, her brother sees something in Rose, so maybe she'll give her a chance too. Rose lights up and gives her sister in law a big hug!
Celebration: New champ It's time for the celebration party of the new TV Champion, Madison Rayne. What made it so special, is that it was the former champion, Madison's BFF Kimberly who had set it all up, cake, banners, balloons and everything. The extravagant celebration almost got Madison embarrassed, who thanked Kimberly profusely for the gesture. Kimberly said it was her honor and privilege as her BFF to arrange this celebration, but that Madison shouldn't eat too much cake, as she did deserve a rematch. Madison agreed, but said that tonight, they both could treat themselves to a sweet. As Madison turns around to take a bite of the cake, Kimberly clobbers her from behind, hits an elbow drop and starts stomping and kicking away on Madison. Rayne briefly manages to get away from the mad Kimberly, but the former TV champ catches her, almost choking her out with a celebratory banner. Kimberly even hoisted Madison up in the Shuttle 151, sending her face first into the cake. What a despicable act by the former TV Champion!
Serena vs Taylor Made
Serena is dying to get her hands on the Canadian Ninjas, but tonight she had one-half of another tag team in the opposite corner of the ring. As with Allysin Kay's match with Hamada, Taylor Made made (pun intended) use of her team-mate to have a brief offense where she could have made a huge difference. Unfortunately, Made spent too much time playing to the crowd. Even though she evaded a spear, she was brought down on the ground and submitted via an armbar. Serena is looking strong.
Serena made Taylor Made submit to an armbar submission in 0:03:29. Rating: *
Serena promises that this isn't the end After a short commercial break, Chasity Taylor stands by with Serena, who says that Nicole Matthews is a coward who is hiding behind Portia Perez. She doesn't care that they are two, she'll be coming after them when the time is right. Chasity wants to know if Serena is looking to get a tag partner, but Serena just shrugs and says she'll fight on her own if need be.
The Ninjas laugh at Serena We see a pre-taped video of Nicole and Portia eating chicken wings at a diner. They turn to the camera and tells Serena that what happened to her, is what'll happen to anyone who gets in their way. But the problem is, they're a team now, and they are going to focus on the tag team ranks. This means that unless Serena finds herself a partner, they will not waste calories on her.
Mercedes Martinez vs Heidi Lovelace
Mercedes Martinez is back form her injury, and her match against Heidi Lovelace proved that she hadn't lost a step at all. With her sister-in-law, Rose Martinez, giving valuable(?) moral support on the outside, Mercedes ran rampant over "The vintage Vixen", picking up the win with a Fisherman Buster.
Mercedes Martinez pinned Heidi Lovelace with the Fisherman Buster in 0:03:55. Rating: *** 1/4
The Old Guard makes plans We see Tara, Rob Terry, Hailey Hatred, Winter and the Valkyrie walking in a dark warehouse, Tara doing the talking. She talks about being a 3-time world champion, about the dominance the Old Guard has enjoyed for a year and a half now and how they will continue their just reign forever. But their current problem, the leather-clad B****es in Black, continues to be a thorn in their sides. They simply won't go away.. even though Gail Kim's short World Title reign was a joke, even though Melanie Cruise's fluke reign came to an end.. they won't die. Tara says there is one thing - one match - that can make it all go away. We then see that they have reached a big cage. The Valkyrie rattles the cage as Winter and Hatred laughs maniacally. Tara smiles, telling The B****es to ready themselves for war. War Games.
The Canadian Ninjas vs The Knight Dynasty
Even though their planned tag title shot went away, Britani and Saraya Knight still wanted to get the win in tonight's main event. A win would cement their position as one of the top tier teams in TNAW and ensure a title match when Winter got better and/or GM Brooke Hogan wanted to put the tag titles on the line again. The mother/daughter tag team is one of the most well-oiled teams in the history of TNAW, but even they had trouble keeping up with Matthews and Perez. Having wrestled together for years in Canada, they know where each other was at all times, almost instinctively! Even though the fans hated Saraya (and disliked Britani) for what she did to both Alissa Flash and Sara Del Rey, they abhorred the behavior of the Canadian Ninjas, who took the time to jaw-jack with the fans, stall for time and complain to the referee about every little thing, from "Britani pulled my hair" to "she's hiding a foreign object". Saraya lost her temper and patience more than once, and simply went over to beat up on the Canadians. It was in one of these situations the referee had to step in and stop Saraya, allowing the Ninjas to double-team Britani for a while. The moment Saraya relented and went to the outside, Portia Perez ran over and kicked her off the apron. Just as quick, she bounced back and hit Britani with a superkick, followed by the German suplex by Nicole - their finisher move The Funky Cold Medina. The Knight Dynasty thought they were en route to a title match, but this loss may very well put an end to the imminent title challenge they were hoping for.
The Canadian Ninjas (Portia Perez and Nicole Matthews) defeated The Knight Dynasty (Britani Knight and Saraya Knight) when N. Matthews pinned B. Knight after the Funky Cold Medina in 0:11:55. Rating: ***
Card rating: ** 3/4
Match observations:
We just witnessed a heinous attack by Kimberly on her BFF Madison Rayne. Rayne winning the TV Title did not sit so well with Kimberly after all, who assaulted her during the cake celebration. Also, is War Games brewing?
Check out Showdown this Saturday for more news about our next iPPV - Caged Fury! We have also learned that Rose Martinez will be in action against Jessica Havock.

TNAW - Saturday Night Showdown - 15.03.2014
Brooke announces new stipulation for Caged Fury Tonight's Showdown opens with Brooke Hogan and Nikki Storm in the ring. The crowd boos Brooke, who does the talking. Nikki stands silently in the background. Brooke says that she is appalled by the accusations leveled at her, accusations of corruption and bias. She says she won't stand for any of that, and wants to prove that she runs a clean operation. She talks about War Games, and that everything will end there. The big question in all of these War Games matches is, of course, who will get the number advantage in this match. Well, Brooke proposes a series of matches, called the War Games Series. It will be a number of singles and tag matches between the Old Guard and the B****es in Black, where the winning team will get the number advantage in the War Games match. It will start tonight, with Tara facing Awesome Kong in a non-title match!
Jessica Havock vs Rose Martinez
Rose Martinez might have received a stamp of approval from her sister-in-law, Mercedes Martinez last week, but facing an opponent like Jessica Havock requires more than a stamp of approval. The problem with Rose is that she is way too gullible. She wants to shake hands, give hugs and forgive her opponents. Well, that doesn't work with Jessica Havock, who pummeled Rose from pillar to post. Rose has a fiery streak, but her brief comebacks didn't do much besides piss Jessica off. Havock hit a power bomb on Rose, but refused to cover her. Instead, she waited until Rose had got back on her feet, and then simply gave her a knockout punch that sent her down for the count.
Jessica Havock pinned Rose Martinez after a punch to the face in 0:04:46. Rating: *
Mercedes take pity on Rose We're back from commercial, and in the back, Mercedes Martinez is taking care of Rose Martinez' possible black eye. Mercedes tries to tell Rose that she needs to look after herself more, not stir up a fight with a vicious woman like Jessica Havock. Mercedes starts wondering if maybe Rose needs to get her feet wet in a tag team. Rose suddenly lights up, asking Mercedes if she wants to tag with her. Mercedes tries to dodge the question, but Rose says that The Martinez' will be the new top team in TNAW.
Awesome Kong vs Tara in the War Games series
This was a match we've seen multiple times before, but this time with an added dimension. Not only was this the first match in the War Games series, a series of matches scheduled to decided who got the number advantage in the upcoming Caged Fury, it also presented a special atmosphere, as both the Old Guard and the B*****s in Black were ringside, sitting next to the ring, cheering on their stablemate. It was surprisingly little interference in this match. It was more or less Kong using her strength to battle the experience and cunning of Tara. The few attempts at tripping or distraction initiated by the Old Guard was quickly quenched by the B****es in Black. Still, you don't get to be a three time TNAW World Champion without being one of the best wrestlers in the world. And Kong is still not quite at 100 % from her pregnancy. She posed far too long for an Awesome Bomb, allowing Tara to wriggle free and hit the Widow's Peak for the win. It's Old Guard 1 - B****es in Black 0.
Tara pinned Awesome Kong with the Widow's Peak in 0:07:17. Rating: *** 1/2
Card rating: ** 3/4
Match observations:

TNAW - Wired! - 19.03.2014
Nikki Storm prepares for her match.. sort of Tonight on Wired, Nikki Storm represents The Old Guard in the Caged Fury series, when she is facing Gail Kim in the main event. It was Storm beating the former World Champion three weeks ago on Showdown that prompted Brooke Hogan to hire Storm as a bodyguard. Since showing her true allegiance to The Old Guard, Brooke has been under a lot of pressure from a lot of factions, especially B****es in Black. Whether or not she is a full member of the Old Guard remains to be seen, as she is seen entering Brooke's office, asking out loud if she has any allies there with her tonight against Gail Kim and the B****es. Seeing as the office is empty, Nikki looks around to be certain that she's alone, until she tries out Brooke's chair, pretending to have a conversation with someone on the guest coach. As the pretend conversation intensifies, Nikki gets angry and fires the imaginery wrestler. At that point, Brooke Hogan enters, asking what Nikki think she's doing in her chair. Nikki apologizes and goes to prepare for her main event match.
Jessie Belle Smothers vs Portia Perez
Portia Perez has joined forces with her old tag team partner Nicole Matthews, and the Canadian Ninjas are looking to make an impact in the tag division. Perez wants to prove herself in the singles division as well, taking on Jessie Belle Smothers. Without her half-sister or father at ringside to watch her back, Nicole Matthews was able to influence the match in Portia's favor. She didn't necessarily need it, but Portia doesn't look like the woman who wants to work more than she has to. When finally Jessie Belle struck Nicole back, she got distracted enough for Portia to reload her leg, hitting a beautiful superkick for the win.
Portia Perez pinned Jessie Belle Smothers with the Superkick in 0:04:20. Rating: **
Beatdown and save Portia and Nicole didn't take too kindly to Jessie striking Nicole, and starts kicking and punching away at Jessie. The save came from an, perhaps, unexpected source, as Rose and Mercedes Martinez ran in. Nicole got away, but the sister-in-laws got hold of Perez, leveling her with a double clothesline and sending her over the ropes before the Ninjas retreated. The Ninjas yelled at the Martinez' that this wasn't over. Mercedes said that they had a match scheduled for tonight, but that they wanted their opponents in the ring - right now!
Made in Sin vs The Martinez'
Rose and Mercedes had some initial communication problems which allowed Kay and Made to take control of the match and isolate Rose. The youngest Martinez showed good spirits and resilience by surviving Made in Sin's onslaught, and when she at last hit an enzuigiri on Kay and made the save, Mercedes was on fire. She blased Kay and Made with forearms and dropkicks, before tagging Rose back in. They hit a wheelbarrow splash on Made for their very first win.
The Martinez' (Mercedes Martinez and Rose Martinez) defeated Made in Sin (Allysin Kay and Taylor Made) when Rose Martinez pinned Made after a flying clothesline in 0:08:07. Rating: * 1/2
Knight Traning Session We get a bird's eye view of a training session with Saraya and Britani Knight. Mother Knight not too happy after losing against the Canadian Ninjas last week, and not too happy with Britani's workout today either, yelling at her and telling her to run faster, lift stronger and generally perform better. When Britani asks why she is such a b**ch tonight, Saraya slaps her and tells her to get a grip on it. If they are to challenge for the tag team titles, she needs to step up. Britani points out that Saraya isn't sweating nearly as much as her. Saraya tells Britani that she brings the experience, while Britani needs to bring the best athlete possible.
Kimberly vs Stephanie Smothers
Kimberly has all of a sudden changed her demeanor drastically, turning against her BFF, TV Champion Madison Rayne in what seems like a jealous fit. Tonight against Stephanie Smothers, she behaved like a spoiled brat, complaining to the referee for the smallest of things and jaw-jacking with the crowd. Still, the former TV champion is a talented wrestler, and if the shenanigans are stripped away, it's difficult to best her. Still, Madison Rayne managed to do so at My Bloody Valentine, something one should never remind her about. Kimberly picks up the victory, but what is next for Kimberly?
Kimberly pinned Stephanie Smothers with the Shuttle 151 in 0:05:39. Rating: ** 1/4
Interview with Kong and Cruise Chasity Taylor stands by with Awesome Kong and Melanie Cruise. The former tag team champions says that it's bullshit by Brooke to put the Tag titles in stasis just because of Winter's injury. Still, the important thing right now is the Caged Fury series and how important it is to get the number's advantage in that lethal cage match.
Rob Terry & Tara We are again treated to a somewhat disturbing locker room video where Tara pledges her love and devotion to someone.. logically Rob Terry, but the camera doesn't reveal it. As Tara says she will be here for "him" forever. When Rob Terry suddenly comes out from the shower with a small towel, it is apparent that it is, in fact, not Rob Terry, but the World Title. Rob looks a little hurt, but Tara scowls and tells him not to worry. She will still have some time for him too.
Gail Kim vs Nikki Storm - Caged Fury Series
Our main event was the second match in the Caged Fury series. Tara won her match this Saturday, so it was important for Gail Kim to get some revenge on Nikki, who defeated her three weeks ago. Actually, Nikki was extremely pissed off at Gail for losing her World Title only a week before their meeting. This match was a good back and forth contest, Nikki Storm using her extreme talents of getting the crowd riled up and Gail showing that she has a perfect mix of experience, cunning and aerial prowess. It didn't take too long before the Valkyrie showed up, possibly sent by Brooke Hogan. Kong and Cruise came as well, and the ruckus ringside caused a distraction that allowed Storm to fetch a chair from under the ring. Kim ducked the strike, grabbed the chair and smashed Nikki Storm with it. The only problem being that the referee had turned around and saw it! Gail was disqualified, and it is now 2-0 to the Old Guard!
Nikki Storm defeated Gail Kim by disqualification in 0:11:27. Rating: *** 1/2 [The Valkyrie interfered against Gail Kim.] [Melanie Cruise interfered against Nikki Storm.]
Card rating: ** 3/4

The Caged Fury series continues on Saturday, as Melanie Cruise faces Hailey Hatred. Also, Madison Rayne defends her TV Title against Kimberly!

TNAW - Saturday Night Showdown - 22.03.2014
Old Guard celebrate as if the victory is already theirs Tonight’s showdown open up in the ring, where the Old Guard is basking in the boos of the crowd. Tara and Rob Terry are eating each other alive, bringing a nauseas feeling to the guts of all watching. Winter takes the microphone, stating what they feel is obvious - The Old Guard will easily win this War Games Series and have the number advantage for most of the War Games match. Everyone knows that is a huge advantage. It is already 2-0 to the Old Guard, and tonight, Hailey Hatred would make it 3 to 0 when she defeats Melanie Cruise. Tara lets go of her boytoy for one second, making it clear that The Old Guard is unstoppable. Then, now, forever.
Rating: **
Interview with Madison Rayne Backstage, Chasity Taylor stands by with the TV Champion, Madison Rayne. Madison is fighting away tears as she tries to understand why Kimberly has betrayed her so. She is the godmother of her daughter, her BFF! Madison says that while the anger and frustration still pains her, she has to do what is best for her daughter, and that is to continue being the TV Champion - to provide for her the best she could. Kimberly would get her comeuppance, one way or another.
Rating: ***
Madison Rayne (c) vs Kimberly for the TNAW TV Title
The two former BFFs spent maybe 30 seconds yelling and shouting at each other before tearing into each other with chops and punches. Kimberly grabbed hold of Madison’s hair, throwing her to the ground. Kimberly continued to punish and torment Madison after this, but Rayne’s desire to retain the belt, was too strong. After missing a clothesline, Madison hit back with a cross-body. Madison was inching closer to the victory, but Kimberly wouldn’t suffer another defeat, and grabbed Rayne’s belt from the ringside table, smashing Madison with it and causing the disqualification.
Madison Rayne defeated Kimberly by disqualification in 04:43 to retain the TNAW TV Title. Match rating: *3/4
Hailey Hatred vs Melanie Cruise - War Games series
The Old Guard might be certain of victory, and that may be why only The Valkyrie joined Hailey Hatred out for this match. The former champion dominated Hatred in the opening, using her height advantage to great effect. The big blonde was taken down by a spinebuster to almost make it three. When the Valkyrie tripped up Cruise to turn the tides in Cruise’s favor, Sarona Snuka came out to even the playing field. Hatred used a lot of power moves and strikes to wear down Cruise, but Cruise came back and locked in a sleeperhold. Hatred was fading when The Valkyrie distracted the referee for some reason, perhaps trying to give Hatred some time. Unfortunately, all this caused was for Hatred to reach the ropes without any referee to break the hold. Snuka broke the hold, however, and Cruise let go before hitting an O’Connor Roll for the 3. The B****es in Black are clawing their way back ! 1-2 now.
Match rating: ***¼

TNAW - Wired! - 26.03.2014
Brooke books match for Caged Fury! Tonight’s Wired opens in Brooke Hogan’s office, where both Hamada and Jessica Havock were being held back by two burly guards each. Brooke says that it is obvious that they will tear out each other throats if given the opportunity, and why not let them? But not here and now, no, they will face each other one on one at Caged Fury. But tonight, they would be in tag team action. With that, she tells them to go find themselves a partner.
Rating: *½
Kimberly attacks Madison We see footage from backstage, where Madison is rocking her child to sleep before going over to a vending machine to get something to eat. Out of nowhere, Kimberly blindsides her, slamming her into the glass front of the vending machine. Kimberly tosses Madison around, almost crashing her into the stroller. Madison looks concerned up at her child’s stroller, and the baby is now crying. Kimberly doesn’t care, as she bodyslams Madison on the floor. She tells Madison to stop that damn child from crying. Before Madison can do anything, Tracey Smothers and his daughters come around, scaring Kimberly away. As Stephanie and Jessie Belle helps Madison, Tracey picks up the baby and cradles her, telling his daughters how pretty they were when they were young toddlers.
Rating: ***¼
Serena vs Jessie Belle Smothers w/Tracey Smothers
Tracey may be the half-sisters mentor, but he hasn’t been all that successful in bringing them fortune and victory. Serena is far more experienced than Jessie, and even if the blonde Smothers had a couple of near falls following a backslide and a sunset flip, Serena got the W as Jessie spent a little too long complaining to the referee. One spear later and the victory was secure.
Serena defeated Jessie Belle Smothers with the Spear after 03:54 Rating: **¾
Nicole “the Lariat” Matthews vs Stephanie Smothers w/Tracey Smothers
Busy night for Tracey, as it was Stephanie’s turn to try her luck against the more experienced Nicole Matthews. Matthews might be focusing more on her tag team alongside Portia Perez nowadays, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t pack a mean punch, something Stephanie felt the brunt of tonight. And while Stephanie might have avoided the dreaded lariat, she did not escape the Vancouver Maneuver.
Nicole Matthews defeated Stephanie Smothers with the Vancouver Maneuver after 04:13 Rating: **¾
Serena has a chat with the Martinez’ Backstage, Mercedes and her sister-in-law Rose are lounging, watching the show, when Serena comes to visit. She says that Nicole Matthews have gone too far now, and that Portia Perez is cut from the same cloth. She needs a partner to go after them, and asks Mercedes Martinez to be her partner. Mercedes looks at Rose, telling Serena that she already has a partner, and that they will be more than happy to take care of the Canadian Ninjas. Serena wishes them luck. Mercedes says they don’t need luck, not when they have family.
Rating: **
Jessica’s recruitment Backstage, Heidi Lovelace is showing Portia Perez her new wrestling outfit, when Jessica Havock emerges on the scene. She grabs hold of Heidi Lovelace, and tells her that she’s in a tag match now. She doesn’t have to do anything but stand there though. Heidi tries to protest, but a stern look from Jessica makes her shut up.
Rating: *½
Jessica Havock & Heidi Lovelace vs Hamada & Mia Yim
While Heidi had received strict instructions of standing on the apron, Hamada and Yim worked nicely together, using quick tags and hard double kicks to soften up Havock. As the match wore on, Havock began to look to the apron to find some reprieve, and finally tagged herself out, much to Heidi Lovelace’s big surprise. Lovelace came in as the fresh face, actually managing to bring Yim down and almost get the win on Hamada. When Lovelace tried to tag back though, Havock was less than interested in that, and more interested in yanking Hamada down to the ringside area, slamming her into the guardrail. Yim and Lovelace, realizing that this wasn’t their fight at all, simply abandoned the match and left the ring. What a strange match.
Havock & Lovelace vs Hamada & Yim ended in a double countout after 06:34 Rating: ***
The Old Guard interview Chasity is backstage trying to get a few words with Tara, but the Old Guard leader snatches the microphone from her hands. Tara says that what happened on Showdown this Saturday was a fluke. Tonight, the Valkyrie and Nikki Storm would make sure the War Games series was safe and sound at the Old Guard’s winning ways. Winter strokes her tag team belt with her good hand, saying that whoever is gunning for their belts will have their chance soon enough. But they would fail - they would all fail!
Rating: ***
Gail Kim peptalk At the B****es in Black’s locker room, Gail Kim throws a last minute peptalk before the main event. Gail Kim is no stranger to War Games or cage matches, and she knows how big of an advantage it is to have the numbers on their side. Winning tonight’s tag team main event would go a long way to even out the playing field before that important match.
Rating: **¾
Gail Kim & Sarona Snuka vs Nikki Storm & The Valkyrie
It seems like every match between these two teams are a psychological war as well. Before the match started, Melanie Cruise sauntered down, only to climb the guard rail and disappear in the back. This confused Hailey Hatred, who came down as an equalizer. When Awesome Kong came down smiliing, Hatred knew she had been played. The match itself was slow and technical, Nikki Storm trying to go one-on-one with Gail Kim, the woman she defeated some weeks ago, just after she lost the World Title. Storm got out-wrestled tonight, and when the bigger Snuka came in, Storm tagged in the Valkyrie. Neither of these two teams had tagged together before, and it showed. Still, Kim and Snuka looked to be more on the same page than Storm and the Valkyrie, and when Storm tried to introduce a chair into the match, Awesome Kong took care of it on the outside. In the ring, Gail hit a crucifix on the Valkyrie, making it all even in the War Games series.
Rating: *½
The War Games series is more exciting than ever now, with the score being 2 against 2. There is no rest for Gail, as she will go one-on-one with the TNAW World Champion Tara this Saturday on Showdown. Also, the Knight Dynasty will square off against the team of Awesome Kong and Sarona Snuka.

Saturday Night Showdown - 29.03.2014
Knight Dynasty certain of victory Welcome to another edition of Saturday Night Showdown! To start the show, we go to Chasity Taylor, who is standing by with mother and daughter Knight. Saraya says that their loss to the Ninjas two weeks ago, was nothing but a fluke, and that the world would see the best mother and daughter team in the world win a big victory tonight. Britani voices her opinion too, saying that the Britons are here to rule. Rating: ***
The B*****s in Black vs The Knight Dynasty
Snuka and Kong may not have tagged together before, but the cohesion in the B****es these days is tremendous, as they are preparing for the Caged Fury main event where all four of them will be put in the big cage. Saraya started off going toe to toe with Snuka, but when Awesome Kong came in, the veteran got pounded good. Britani tried to enter for some swift, high-flying action, and while it worked in the start, Kong is too big and powerful for it to work in the end. When Britani could have gone for the tag, she became too courageous, and fell for Kong’s implant buster. Saraya tried to enter the ring, but got engaged in a big brawl with Awesome Kong. In the confusion, Sarona Snuka hit the Superfly Splash from the top to put the Knights away.
The B****es in Black (Snuka & Kong) defeated The Knight Dynasty (Britani Knight & Saraya Knight) when Snuka hit the Superfly Splash on B. Knight in 06:52. Rating: **¼
Saraya loses it Saraya and Kong disengaged as Snuka’s hand was raised. You could see the disappointment in Saraya’s face as she went into the ring and verbally berated Britani for not tagging out when she could have, and to have brought shame on her family for losing two straight matches, against easy opponents, in a row. Saraya slaps Britani, calling her a loser and a coward. Britani is teary-eyed at this point, as she cannot believe her mother is talking to her like that. Rating: *
Gail Kim vs Tara - War Games Series
At 2 vs 2, the War Games series continues with match # 5. These two have faced off before, most recently at My Bloody Valentine, where Tara won the TNAW World Title from Gail Kim. The title was not on the line here, though. To show her superiority, Tara chose to go into this match with no members of the Old Guard present, while the entire crew of the B****es were there. This baffled Gail, who told her posse to just guard the aisle and the exits. These two women know each other so well that the match as good as one could imagine. Both had good attempts early on, and went for their finishers - to no avail. When Gail ducked a clothesline, Tara took out the referee instead. Gail’s allies were looking for the Old Guard to make an appearance, but they didn’t. Instead, it was Brooke Hogan who came down in a referee’s shirt alongside a contigent of guards. Brooke stated that she was an official referee substitute, and would referee the rest of this match. As Gail protests, Tara low-blows Gail right in front of Brooke, who does nothing. Tara then hits the Widow’s Peak on Gail to go up to a 3-2 lead. The B****es in Black are thinking about storming the ring, when the Old Guard come down to brawl. The match goes off the air as the two sides are brawling.

TNAW - Wired! - 02.04.2014
Dixie puts Brooke on the spot Tonight’s Wired! started out with a killer announcement, as the President of TNA (and by extension, TNAW), Dixie Carter, was out in the ring and called out Brooke Hogan. Dixie Carter berated Brooke for throwing sportmanship and fair play out the window when she, as an authority figure, sided with the Old Guard. Brooke shot back at Dixie, claiming that the numbers had improved by 30 % since Tara became world champion, and that they never had been so bad as when Gail held the belt. Dixie admitted that was true, but guessed that most people was tuning in to see if she got her comeuppance. Dixie continued by saying that as the President of TNA, she had the authority to intervene if she felt the need to, something she rarely did. Now was the time to change all that, however. At the War Games match, there would be an added stipulation. The losing team would have to disband - for ever! And if The Old Guard lost, Brooke Hogan was out of a job. Brooke looks shocked at this announcement, but composes herself and says that the match is already a foregone conclusion. The Old Guard reigns supreme. Rating: **¾
Portia Perez vs Rose Martinez
Over the course of the first two minutes of this match, Portia and her ringside partner, Nicole Matthews, committed so many rules violations behind the referee’s back that Lenny Leonard said it must be some kind of record. When Nicole was choking poor Rose over the ropes for the third time, Mercedes Martinez ran in to attack Nicole. Matthews slid into the ring, where Martinez soon clotheslined Perez right in front of the referee, who called for the bell. Mercedes Martinez challenged Nicole Matthews to a fight later tonight.
Portia Perez w/Nicole Matthews def. Rose Martinez via DQ at 03:35 Rating: ***¾
Brooke is worried
A camera backstage catches footage of Brooke Hogan walking around while she talks on the phone. She refers to the other person as “dad”, so no points for guessing it’s the Hulkster she’s talking to. She tells him she’s worried for her job, and fears that the Old Guard is not up to the task at Caged Fury. Rating: *½
Sitdown interview with Hamada
With the help of an interpreter, Dave Prazak has a sitdown interview with Hamada. Hamada admits that the last few months have not been her best, but that she felt reinvigorated after her trip back to Japan. She is sick and tired of having people use her as a stepping stone. Nikki Storm was just the last in a long line of young talent who had not only equalled her place on the roster, but surpassed it. And now, Jessica Havock looked to do the same. Hamada would have none of it, and warned Havock of taking her too lightly. Rating: *¼
Madison Rayne vs Mia Yim - non title match
Madison has a date with her former BFF Kimberly at Caged Fury, but getting past the athletic Mia Yim was no easy task either. Yim’s long legs found Rayne on several occasions throughout the match, and some might be looking for a big upset, only days away from Caged Fury. Rayne hit back though, and was close on several occasions with small packages and an O’Connor roll. When Mia tried another spin kick, Madison ducked, decked Mia and hit the Rayne Drop for the win.
Madison Rayne defeated Mia Yim with the Rayne Drop after 05:01 Rating: *
Post-match attack Madison had barely gotten her hands raised by the referee, when Kimberly attacked. Madison got the shit kicked out of her at first, but then Rayne remembered Kimberly endangering her daughter last week, and kicked, punched and clawed back at Kimberly, holding nothing back. She hit Kimberly with a spear, and rained punches down on her until referees and trainers held them back. Rating: ****
Nikki not worried Chasity Taylor is backstage with Nikki Storm, asking the Scot if she’s excited to be in the War Games match this Sunday, replacing an injured Winter. Nikki answers nonchalantly that it will just be another day on the job. When Chasity brings up the fact that if they lose, Brooke Hogan, Nikki’s boss, will be out of a job, Nikki gets a little bit more worried, saying, without conviction, that she’s certain of victory. Rating: ***
Nicole Matthews vs Mercedes Martinez
This match came about after Portia’s match earlier with Rose Martinez. Mercedes didn’t take too kindly on all the cheating and shenanigans that took place against her sister-in-law, and wanted to show Nicole that the best solution for the Ninjas was to butt out. Mercedes dominated much of the early goings, lighting Nicole’s chest up with chops and strikes. When Portia tripped Mercedes as she was running the ropes, Nicole gained control, pummeling Mercedes and wearing down her surgically repaired shoulder. Mercedes fought back into the match, but when Rose got brutally attacked on the outside by Portia, she lost her focus for a short second, enough to allow Nicole to hit the Vancouver Maneuver, getting one over Mercedes.
Nicole Matthews w/Portia Perez def. Mercedes Martinez w/Rose Martinez after hitting the Vancouver Maneuver in 08:42
Rating: ***¼
Britani on her mother’s attack Backstage, Chasity Taylor tries to catch a few words with Britani Knight, who is still a little upset about what happened this Saturday on Showdown, when Saraya assaulted her daughter, both physically and verbally. Britani is almost teary-eyed when she says that she has taken a lashing from her mother before, when she was younger, but nothing like this and not in front of millions of fans. Britani says she must speak to her mother AND get her shit together. The Knight Dynasty is better than this. Rating: ***
Hamada vs Kimberly
Kimberly might have gotten the snot beat out of her against Madison Rayne earlier tonight, and it looked that way in the opening two minutes, as Kimberly ran all over the former TV champ, sending her to the outside with a clothesline before diving out from the turnbuckle with a cross body. Kimberly was able to get the upper hand when Hamada missed a moonsault, and she didn’t waste any time trying to go for the pin. A victory over the former World Champion would be the perfect morale boost going into the match with Madison four days from now. Her attempts proved fruitless though, and a Hamada driver almost put Kimberly away. The referee was caught in the blast though, so when Hamada hit the Moonsault, nobody was there to count. She went up for a second time, but Jessica Havock ran out and pushed her, causing her to lose her balance and fall to the outside. Havock quickly picked her up, slamming Hamada into the apron and then giving her a DDT on the outside. Havock then slid Hamada in, delivering her to Kimberly like lamb to the slaughter. An easy win for Kimberly, albeit with a lot of help from J-Hav.
Kimberly defeated Hamada via pinfall at 06:22 Rating: ****¼
Notes: The tension is rising, four days away from Caged Fury. With the added stipulation that the losing team must break up, and that Brooke Hogan’s job is on the line, the stakes are even higher.
We’ve also just learned that The Martinez’ will face The Canadian Ninjas in a tag-team match. From earlier, Jessica Havock has been booked against Hamada, and Kimberly will get a rematch for the TV Title.
Caged Fury looks to be shaping up nicely!

TNAW - Saturday Night Showdown - 05.04.2014
Britani Knight vs Taylor Made Britani is still upset at her mother’s harsh treatment of her, and you could see the worry on her face when Saraya Knight appeared ringside in this match. Not so much afraid that Saraya would attack her, more afraid of disappointing her, perhaps. This wasn’t the match to disappoint her though, as Britani grabbed the W with the Knight Rider.
Britani Knight def. Taylor Made with the Knight Rider in 02:42 Rating: *¾
Saraya challenges her daughter After the match, Saraya goes into the ring, asking Britani if she was supposed to be proud of her now, now that she has beaten a nobody. Saraya thought they had a deal. A game plan. After Britani had tasted gold in form of the TV Title, Saraya was to get her revenge. And then, they would go for the tag team titles. How could they do that, when everyone beat them? Saraya says that this country has softened Britani, and she needs to do something about it. She challenges Britani to a match, one-on-one, mother vs. daughter, at Caged Fury. Britani is all in tears as Saraya throws down the microphone and walks out of the ring. Rating: ****1/4
Tara peptalk In the Old Guard’s locker room, Tara is holding a peptalk to Hatred and Valkyrie, who are supposed to take part in the Ultimate X match coming up next. With two points up for grabs, whoever won this match got the upper hand in the War Games match itself. Tara said she hoped she didn’t have to point out how important it was to have the number advantage, and to win the War Games match. She then kissed Rob Terry, carressing his big, muscular chest. Rating: ***
Hailey Hatred vs Melanie Cruise vs Sarona Snuka vs The Valkyrie in an Ultimate X match for the final points in the War Games series Neither of these four women are what you consider typical Ultimate X contenders, but their will to win was no less. With the entire contigent of Old Guard and B****es ringside, this match soon became chaotic. While all four at one point or another was on their way across the cables and towards the belt, it was obvious that Brooke Hogan didn’t leave anything to chance. Rob Terry entered the ring and pulled down Snuka, who was taken out by Nikki Storm. Terry then lifted up Hailey Hatred, who could easily grab the X. This is a travesty!
Hailey Hatred defeated Melanie Cruise, Sarona Snuka and The Valkyrie in an Ultimate X Match in 09:42 Rating: *

Caged Fury - 06.04.2014
Heidi Lovelace vs Serena This match was a sudden addition to the PPV, but what a nice surprise! Heidi Lovelace, more than happy to be given a chance like this, attacked Serena from the bell, pounding on her and trying to end the match early. An enzuigiri sent Serena reeling, and almost gave Heidi the win. As the match wore on, the veteran Serena took more of the initiative, almost putting Heidi away with a belly-to-belly suplex. Heidi missed a Shining Wizard, leading to a roll up for 2,9. A moment’s lapse in concentration was all it took to give Serena the chance to hit the Spear for the win in a highly entertaining match.
Serena defeated Heidi Lovelace with the Spear after 08:42 Rating: ****
The B****es’ final peptalk The four women that has taken upon their shoulders to end the Old Guard threat once and for all is gathered for, perhaps, the final time. Gail Kim says that nobody knows the Old Guard as well as she does, but tonight is the night they have the chance to break them up for good, and to get rid of Brooke Hogan at the same time. Kong, Cruise and Snuka are all ready for the War Games match, and they are all going into the bout with the knowledge that they may never be like they used to. Rating: *
The Martinez’ vs The Canadian Ninjas Even though Rose and Mercedes are family (by marriage), The Ninjas have teamed together for years on the independent circuit, both in Canada and in the USA. It was to no surprise that it was the Canadians who dominated the first minutes, isolating Rose and double-teaming her. Mercedes tried to get her hands on her opponent, but the referee stopped her, leading to even more double-teaming, choking and illegal holds from the Canadian Ninjas. Mercedes finally gets her time in the sun, decking both Perez and Matthews, taking them both down with suplexes. The referee lost control of the match at this point, and when Rose was thrown out of the ring, the Ninjas swiflty positioned themselves for the Funky Cold Medina, sending Mercedes down and winning the match.
The Canadian Ninjas (Perez & Matthews) defeated The Martinez’ (Rose & Mercedes) when the Ninjas hit Mercedes with the Funky Cold Medina after 11:03 Rating: **¼
Kimberly vs Madison Rayne (c) Sore loser is a fitting term for Kimberly, who never accepted the fact that her friend, Madison Rayne, defeated her for the TNAW TV Title. Her attempts so far of getting the belt back has failed, but here at Caged Fury, the title was on the line once more. Controversy from the start here, as Madison brought a stroller down to the ring, telling Dave Prazak to look after her daughter, she was sleeping. The time for technical wrestling was gone, Kimberly and Madison tore into each other with fisticuffs, kicks and even headbutts now. Kimberly gained control on the outside when she blocked an attempt to smash her head into the ringpost, doing the same with Rayne. Kimberly dominated from here on, but couldn’t quite put Madison away. She even went for the Shuttle 151, but Madison countered it with a sunset flip. Kimberly started to get frustrated, and went outside. She walked over to the stroller and picked up a chair which was nearby. Despite Dave Prazak telling her not to do it, she smashed the chair over the stroller, causing it to fall down, revealing that the stroller is completely empty! This stunned Kimberly so much that Madison blitzed her from behind, sending her crashing into the guard rail and then suplexing her on the floor. Back in the ring, Kimberly desperately tries to get back into the match, but is instead taken out by the Rayne Drop. Madison retains!
Madison Rayne (c) defeated Kimberly with the Rayne Drop after 09:44 to retain the TNAW TV Title Rating: *
Jessica Havock vs Hamada Hamada is at her core a technical or high-flying wrestler with a lot of puro influence. Well, tonight she got to scratch her brawling itch, as J-Hav and Ayako engaged each other in a violent bout of fisticuffs which early spilled out on the floor. They were careful not to use a lot of weaponry, finding satisfaction in sending each other crashing into the guard rail or ring steps. The referee was lenient, but still focused on the 10 count. Havock and Hamada did spend some time in the ring as well, trying to put the other away with slams and other power moves. At one of their extended bouts on the outside, neither made it back in time for the count, causing a double countout result to the match. The twosome had to be separated by guards in order for the show to continue.
Jessica Havock vs Hamada ended in a double countout after 14:23 Rating: *½
Saraya Knight vs Britani Knight It was time for a historic match to take place in TNAW - a match pitting mother and daughter against each other! You could see from the get go that Saraya wanted this match more than Britani. The younger Knight didn’t try very hard, and was schooled thoroughly in the art of catch wrestling by her mother. When Saraya realized that Britani wasn’t doing her best, she started to slap and kick her, egging her on. Finally, Britani snapped, and the two of them blasted each other with everything they got, Britani even superkicking her mother straight in the face! Britani may be younger and faster than Saraya, but the veteran has wrestled since before she was even born! Saraya continued to attack Britani’s back and to use various submission moves to force her into submission. At the same time, Britani was verbally berated for shaming the family’s name and honor. Britani fought back the tears and rallied her last strength’s to go for a Knight’s Light brainbuster, but Saraya countered with a small package for two. She then cinched in the Bridal Rocking Horse, the move that put Sara Del Rey out of action. Despite holding out for a long time, Britani finally submitted. After the match, Saraya spat at her daughter and left the ring. What a despicable act to do to your own daughter!
Saraya Knight defeated Britani Knight when Britani submitted to the Bridal Rocking Horse after 13:35 Rating: ***
The Old Guard vs B****es in Black in War Games match
The Old Guard won the War Games series of qualifying matches that had taken place on Showdown and Wired prior to Caged Fury, and had the number advantage going into this match. The first two into the ring was former world champion Gail Kim and Nikki Storm, the Scot who beat Kim some weeks ago in singles action. The two had the entire ring to themselves, and picked up where they left off. Both were introduced to the steel mesh, and Nikki Storm ate defeat, even though it didn’t matter in the cage. Next up was Hailey Hatred, the Old Guard bruiser who clubbed Kim from behind. Together with Storm, the two continued a relentless assault on Kim for two minutes, until Sarona Snuka entered to make it even. Snuka might have gotten her revenge on the turncoat Hailey Hatred in the towel match back in March, but the big islanders equalized Hailey’s size advantage and allowed Gail to recover from the beatings she had suffered. The current world champion Tara was next in line, taking Snuka’s leg out and ordering her troops around. The number advantage was soon to be cancelled out by Awesome Kong however, but Brooke Hogan sent Rob Terry over to stop her. Terry stalled her for over a minute before Dixie Carter came down with his contract, threatening to fire him if he didn’t move away. The ploy was successful though, as it was only 3-3 for 30 seconds, when the Valkyrie came in to make it 4-3 again. There were several weary wrestlers in the ring at this point, including Gail Kim and Sarona Snuka. As Melanie Cruise was preparing to enter, the injured Winter snuck behind Cruise and tried to hit her with her cast. The Bob Orton-like attack failed, and Cruise sent her head first into the cage from the outside. Cruise was merciless on the inside, sending Tara and Hatred crashing with clotheslines and Nikki Storm with a spinebuster. The Valkyrie was taken down with a crashing superplex from the top rope by Kong, and Snuka flew perfectly to hit with the Superfly Splash. At the same time, Gail Kim went after her former leader, Tara, and hit the Eat Defeat on the World Champion. Kim then cinched in an STF, and with all her allies unable to attend her, Tara tapped out in defeat!
The B****es in Black (Gail Kim, Sarona Snuka, Melanie Cruise & Awesome Kong) defeated The Old Guard (Tara, The Valkyrie, Hailey Hatred & Nikki Storm) w/Brooke Hogan, Winter & Rob Terry Rating: ****¼
Notes: This means that the Old Guard is no more! One and a half year of terror by this powerful group is finally over. Not only that, they are prohibited from working together as allies (exception being the current tag team champions, of course). Brooke Hogan is fired and everybody is happy. Or are they? Are Britani Knight happy about the beating she suffered at the hands of her mother? Tune in to Wired and Showdown to find out!

TNAW Wired ! - 09.04.2014
Dixie Carter presents the status quo Tonight’s Wired! opens with TNA president Dixie Carter in the middle of the ring. Dixie says that with Brooke Hogan out of TNAW, she would be running things around here, although she will stay in the background for as much as possible. Last Sunday, on Caged Fury, The Old Guard suffered a loss in the War Games match, forcing them to break up forever. This means no teaming up (except for the tag team champions, obviously), no sharing locker rooms, no interfering in each other’s matches etc. Any violations of these restrictions could lead to their contract being terminated. As for the winners, Dixie mentions that the rumors are true, both Gail Kim and Sarona Snuka are gone from TNAW. They had one single task to accomplish before leaving, and they succeeded. For the remaining winners, Awesome Kong and Melanie Cruise, they would be getting World Title shots at Tara in the coming weeks!
Dixie also announces the Queen of the Ring tournament, which will start in a week’s time. The semi finals and the final will be part of the iPPV itself, with the winner being granted a World Title match! Rating: **¼
Heidi Lovelace vs Stephanie Smothers Heidi did surprise a lot of people with her fighting abilities at Caged Fury, forcing Serena to pull out her A-game in order to put Heidi down with the Spear. The match gave her confidence though, and the “Vintage Vixen” took control over Stephanie in this one, working the headlock, but also utilizing cheap moves like pulling the hair and gouging the eyes. Stephanie looked a little lost without her father ringside, but had a close fall after a missed Shining Wizard from Heidi leading to a roll up. Heidi hit a Shining Wizard immediately after though, securing the win.
Heidi Lovelace defeated Stephanie Smothers with the Shining Wizard after 03:49 Rating: ***¼
Guess who’s back? Backstage, Chasity Taylor is pleased to announce the return of “Dark Angel” Sarita! The former two time tag team champion hasn’t been around since late 2012, when she failed to defeat Britani Knight for the TV Title. Sarita introduced herself in Spanish, before telling Chasity and the fans that she’s here for the Queen of the Ring tournament. When asked about her former partnership with Mercedes Martinez, Sarita says it looks like Mercedes got herself a new tag-team partner. Rating: **½
Sitdown interview with Madison Rayne Dave Prazak has a sitdown interview with the current TV champion, Madison Rayne. Rayne talks about getting back in the ring after her birth, that her daughter means everything to her and that she feels done with Kimberly now. She doesn’t think Kimberly could handle her success, OR her pregnancy. Dave compliments Madison about getting back into shape, both physically and in-ring. Madison thanks him, saying it’s the fans that made it possible for her to work so hard. After what happened the last time she was here, with the House of D and everything, she wanted to make sure both the fans and her daughter, got someone to be proud of. She wanted to defend her title against any and all comers, to be a fighting champion. Rating: ***
Nicole Matthews w/Portia Perez vs Rose Martinez w/Mercedes Martinez The Canadian Ninjas may have defeated The Martinez at Caged Fury, but the bad blood between these two teams are not over yet. Mercedes sent her sister-in-law against the Ninja bruiser Matthews, and watched Rose get the crap kicked out of her for the better part of this match. But you could not fault Rose’s will to survive, as she even kicked out of the dreaded lariat. After a brief flurry of offense, Rose even went for the Rose Cutter, but Nicole reversed it into the Vancouver Maneuver for the win. After the match, Mercedes applauded her for her effort, and said they WOULD beat the Ninjas sooner or later.
Nicole Matthews defeated Rose Martinez with the Vancouver Maneuver after 05:28 Rating: ***
Cruise and Kong ready for the gold Backstage, Chasity Taylor stands by with the War Games survivors, Melanie Cruise and Awesome Kong, who both promises to be successful in their World Title attempt against Tara. Chasity points out that not BOTH can fight Tara, and that they might end up facing each other for the belt. Cruise and Kong look at each other, smiling and saying that if the time comes, they will be ready for that match too. All Tara needs to remember now, is that the two biggest and baddest wrestlers in TNAW are coming for her! Rating: ****
From the Lands of the Rising Sun A vignette airs of two masked Japanese women wrestling in their homeland. It is obvious that the two are very popular, extremely agile and have an almost telepathic sense of cooperation with each other. They are Leon & Ray - and they are coming to TNAW ! Rating: **¾
Hamada & Madison Rayne vs Kimberly & Nikki Storm With her employer, Brooke Hogan, out of TNAW, Nikki Storm may be a little lost. Still, a payday is a payday, and even if her partner, Kimberly, is batshit crazy, Nikki still tries to get the job done. Neither of these two teams worked very well together, but we did see Kimberly and Madison tussle once more, and Nikki Storm and Hamada also have history together. The match was chaotic at times, and the constant cheating from Storm and Kimberly didn’t help either. Hamada got a measure of revenge from the loss she suffered to Nikki at My Bloody Valentine when she hit the Hamada Driver on her, forcing Nikki to roll out of the ring to avoid a loss. Kimberly wasn’t so lucky though, and was caught off-guard with the Rayne Drop. Madison has put Kimberly behind her now - so it seems.
Madison Rayne & Hamada defeated Nikki Storm & Kimberly when Rayne defeated Kimberly with the Rayne Drop after 09:52 Rating: *
Britani goes crazy backstage Chasity Taylor is trying to get some words with Britani Knight backstage, but instead she finds a locker room completely torn apart and a teary-eyed Briton throwing benches and chairs into lockers. The Smothers’ girls and the Martinez’ are watching, Mercedes commenting that she went berserk when somebody asked her about her mother. Chasity tries to get a few words in, but has to duck as a garbage can hits the wall right behind her. Britani yells out to the camera that she is *not* a little girl anymore, and that her coward of a mum can come here to face her! Britani is a two-time TV Champion. Nobody has more title defenses of the TV belt than her. She has been champ for a total of 8 months. How long was Saraya tag champ? A month? She’s got nothing on her. Nothing! Rating: ***¼
Hailey Hatred vs Serena Serena is straight of a win against Heidi Lovelace at Caged Fury, while Hailey Hatred had a tough night in the cage, being on the losing end of the big War Games match. It’s a fresh slate for Hatred, but in this match against the ever so popular Serena, she was not the fan favorite. Using her strength and power advantage against Serena, she did dominate in portions of the match. Serena may be a former TV Champion, but it is 2,5 years since she still held gold here in TNAW, and a win against the much bigger Hatred may catapult her back into title contention. The bruising Hatred had given her early in the match may have caused Serena’s movements to slow down though, as she missed a spear, ramming her own shoulder into the ring post. Hatred hit an O’Connor Roll, using her weight to pin Serena’s shoulders to the mat.
Hailey Hatred defeated Serena with an O’Connor Roll in 07:04 Rating: **½
Show rating: ***¼
Show notes:
With the Old Guard no more, a lot is uncertain here in TNAW as wrestlers left and right are vying for positions. Don’t forget to tune in to Showdown this Saturday, as Melanie Cruise cashes in her War Games victory and challenges Tara for the TNAW World Title. And on Wired! next week, the debuts of Ray & Leon and the comeback match for Sarita. Also Heidi Lovelace gets a rematch against Serena!

TNAW - Saturday Night Showdown - 12.04.2014
Valkyrie & Winter laugh at Kong & Cruise Welcome to another edition of Saturday Night Showdown! Tonight, Melanie Cruise wrestles Tara for the TNAW World Title due to winning the War Games match, but it didn’t look like Winter & Valkyrie were too upset about the fact. The current tag team champions told Cruise and Kong that they were glad that the Old Guard had broken up, this gave them more of the spotlight they deserved. They felt it was a little disappointing that they wouldn’t go after the tag team titles, but admitted that their chances were greater going for Tara’s belt, as these two babies would be here a long, long time. Rating: ***
Mercedes Martinez vs Portia Perez The war between the Canadian Ninjas and the Martinez’ continues. This time, the more experienced of the Martinez sister-in-law were in action against the brains of the Canadian Ninjas, the wily Portia Perez. Perez may be small and not the strongest of competitors, and easily lost a pose-down with Mercedes. What she lacks in strength though, she makes up for in guile, luring Mercedes out of the ring and getting her to chase her all over the place before hiding and taking out her leg. Perez continued to focus on Mercedes’ leg, until Martinez caught hold of her, pummeling her with forearms. Her attack was cut short when Nicole Matthews and Rose Martinez came brawling out from the back, Nicole clearly on the attack. The small distraction allowed Portia to aim her superkick, putting Mercedes down for the 3-count.
Portia Perez defeated Mercedes Martinez in 04:40 after the Superkick Rating: *¾
Backstage brawl We cut quickly to Chasity Taylor, who has action backstage. We see Hamada and Jessica Havock brawl violently backstage, just as they did at Caged Fury. Some trainers try to separate them, but gets kicked in the head for their efforts. J-Hav seems to be getting the better out of Hamada, irish-whipping the Japanese veteran into the wall. The entire scene is unresolved as we go to the ring for the TNAW World Title match! Rating: **3/4
Melanie Cruise vs Tara (c) w/Rob Terry for the TNAW World Title These two are no strangers to one another, but while their other bouts have implemented both technical and powerbased wrestling, this was centered more around the brawling aspect of the game. Tara shouldn’t win in a straight up fistfight against the bigger Cruise, but Tara has the cunning of a veteran world champ who has held this title a record breaking three times. And even if the Old Guard is broken up, Rob Terry is still a menacing presence ringside. While Tara distracted referee Remsburg, Terry tripped, choked or pushed Cruise into the ring steps. It was one of these incidents that led to Cruise having enough of Rob Terry, pushing him in the chest and slapping him around. Terry knew that retaliation could lead to a DQ loss for his beloved, so instead, he just stood there and took the pain. A real low blow wasn’t as easy to no-sell, but Cruise couldn’t get back to the ring in time, giving Tara the win.
Tara defeated Melanie Cruise via countout after 08:18 Rating: *½

TNAW - Wired! - 16.04.2014
Ray & Leon arrive We see footage from backstage, where two Japanese masked workers arrive. Hamada is quick to welcome them, and the threesome talk Japanese as Hamada shows them around, pointing out both Made in Sin and The Canadian Ninjas as they walk around. Ray & Leon are the stereotypical polite Japanese wrestlers, bowing and greeting both teams. Made in Sin scoff at them, while the Ninjas laugh at them. When Hamada tells Ray & Leon that they are ninjas, it is Ray & Leon who laughs. Rating: ***
Rose Martinez vs Saraya Knight - Queen of the Ring 1st round It’s the very first match in the very first round of this year’s queen of the ring. Saraya Knight went out to make a statement, attacking Rose Martinez from the bell. The assault barely halted when the referee tried to get in the way of the brutal attack, and Saraya also took her time jaw-jacking with Mercedes Martinez on the outside. Mercedes can’t have forgotten that Saraya has sent both Alissa Flash and Sara Del Rey packing, and she didn’t want the same to happen with Rose. Luckily for Rose, Saraya didn’t have a vendetta against her, and settled for a rather easy win here.
Saraya Knight defeated Rose Martinez when Rose submitted to the Bridal Rocking Horse in 03:35 Rating: *¾
Ninjas attack On her way out, Saraya came into a shouting match with Mercedes Martinez, which caused a distraction so that the Canadian Ninjas could come out and attack Rose Martinez. Before Mercedes became aware of what had happened, the Ninjas had hit poor Rose with the Funky Cold Medina. When Mercedes slid into the ring, the Ninjas scuttled away. Mercedes then challenged the Ninjas to a match next week on Wired to end this thing once and for all! Rating: **
Sarita torments Jessie and Stephie Backstage, Jessie Belle prepares for her match, when her opponent, Sarita, comes in and says how sorry she is for their father, who has suffered a serious injury and is out for the foreseeable future. The sympathies turn to scorn when she starts making fun of his lack of promiscuity, and that his hip injury possible prevents him from breeding more bastards like them. Stephie stops Jessie Belle, telling her to take it to the ring. Rating: **¾
Jessie Belle Smothers w/Stephanie Smothers vs Sarita Naturally, Jessie Belle wanted to punish Sarita for her words towards her father, but the wily veteran wasn’t so easily fazed, even if Stephanie was there, cheering for her sister. While she probably didn’t need it, Sarita went for the eyes when she felt her upper hand was slipping. Stephanie’s attempts to catch the referee’s attention backfired, and allowed Sarita even more opportunities to cheat. Jessie got to taste Stephanie’s new submission finisher, a modified backbreaker she calls La Reienara.
Sarita defeated Jessie Belle Smothers when Jessie Belle submitted to the La Reienara after 05:04 Rating: ½*
Sitdown interview with Hailey Hatred Dave Prazak had a chat with Hailey Hatred. The former Old Guard bruiser said that being a part of The Old Guard help her career a lot, but she is now ready to stand on her own. Her experience from Japan is a tremendous boon for her when she now wants to go after gold. When asked specifically if she will go after her old boss Tara’s World Title, Hatred says that while the World Title was the ultimate goal for any wrestler here in TNAW, you had to climb the ladder first. And since she didn’t have a tag partner, maybe the TV Title was the best choice for her right now. When asked about the current TV Champion, Madison Rayne, Hailey chuckled, saying that people like Madison were eaten alive in Japan, and she would happily give her the same treatment any skinny gajin would get in Japan. Rating: *½
Made in Sin vs Ray & Leon It was time for the debut of the masked team from the orient. Made in Sin may have scoffed at them earlier, but the time for scoffing was over. The pace, quickness and striking ability of the Japanese tandem was simply amazing, and Taylor and Allysin could barely keep up with them. The high-risk offense didn’t always pay dividends though, as Ray missed a moonsault, allowing Taylor to tag Allysin. Made in Sin isolated Ray, choking and sapping the strength out of her. The duo kept Leon out of the ring for a long time, even going for the Seventh Deadly on Ray, only to have her counter it into a victory roll for a near fall. Chaos ensued as Ray kicked and punched at her opponents, sending Allysin out of the ring following an enzuigiri. A brainbuster followed, before Leon was tagged in, hitting a senton bomb for the win. A highly impressive debut by this team.
Ray & Leon defeated Made in Sin (Allysin Kay & Taylor Made) when Leon pinned Made after a senton bomb in 07:52 Rating: *¼
A threat is made Backstage, Chasity Taylor has a quick word with Jessica Havock. J-Hav says that she and Hamada are not through with one another. There will be a winner. There will be a loser. And that loser, would not be her. Rating: ***
Saraya calls out Britani We’re back from commercials, and Saraya Knight is in the ring. She tries to quites the boos by threatening to leave, a threat the crowd always respond positively to. She calls out her daughter, who comes out but doesn’t climb into the ring. Saraya says that it is obvious to her, that the only tag team title she will hold here, is the one she held with Nikki Storm earlier this year. Her only daughter has somehow forgotten how to wrestle, and continues to bring shame upon her family. After defeating her at Caged Fury, Saraya feels through with Britani. She wants her to go home, so that Saraya can concentrate on winning the TNAW World Title. She has defeated Alissa Flash, Sara Del Rey and Britani so far this year - more than any other wrestler here in TNAW. So why does she needs to go through a damned tournament to get her title match? It doesn’t matter though, she will win Queen of the Ring, and she will defeat Tara. Britani says that she has no intentions of going home. She has no intention of not getting revenge on her, and she has no intentions of letting her mother win the Queen of the Ring without a challenge. She has also entered into the competition, and if the brackets set them up against each other, she will kick her mother’s ass all the way back to England! Rating: **
Heidi Lovelace vs Serena These two had a terrific match at Caged Fury, where Heidi showed more guts and determination than before here in TNAW, and almost pulled off the upset. The TNAW matchmakers wanted to see if Heidi and Serena could pull out another classic here tonight. While the match itself wasn’t the same standard as the one on Caged Fury, an errant elbow by Serena opened Heidi up over the eye, causing her to bleed quite profusely. The blood might have gotten into Heidi’s eyes, as she missed a Shining Wizard, leading to the Spear and the win for Serena.
Serena defeated Heidi Lovelace with the Spear after 10:23

TNAW - Saturday Night Showdown - 19.04.2014
Interview with Ivelisse Tonight’s TV show began with an interview with a woman debuting in a TNAW ring later tonight, the fiery Puerto Rican, Ivelisse! Chasity Taylor wants to know what Ivelisse thinks about her chances in the upcoming Queen of the Ring qualifying match against the former TV Champion, Kimberly. Ivelisse says that with her experience, both from wrestling in Puerto Rico and USA, and her background from MMA, Kimberly is in for a tought fight. Ivelisse came to fight new hunting grounds here in TNAW, and Kimberly will just be the first of her prey. “The Huntress” Ivelisse Velez is here to hunt gold! Rating: ***¼
“The Huntress” Ivelisse Velez vs Kimberly - QoTR 1st round match Kimberly is still reeling from being defeated by Madison Rayne at Caged Fury, and it didn’t look like her mind was completely into this match. Still, this is not to take anything away from “The Huntress”, who put on a brilliant debut match. Her quickness, agility and sound technical wrestling belied her small stature, and soon, Kimberly experienced first-hand Ivelisse’s MMA experience. While Kimberly did put up a decent fight, Ivelisse pulled through to the second round after a beautiful wheelbarrow DDT she calls Disdain.
Ivelisse Velez defeated Kimberly with the Disdain after 05:52 Rating: **¾
Awesome Kong vs Winter
Even though the Old Guard has disbanded and half of the B****es in Black have left TNAW, bad blood still exists between Awesome Kong and Winter. The latter still possess a tag team belt Kong believes rightfully belongs to her. While Kong has a significant size and strength advantage over Winter, the Briton is clever, cunning and crafty, three characteristics that she used to the fullest in trying to overcome the big obstacle in front of her. While The Old Guard is banned from assisting each other, the same ban does not apply to the tag team champs, and Kong also had to look out for the interfering Valkyrie. With Melanie Cruise nowhere to be seen, Kong was on her own. And while she got frustrated due to the interference, she didn’t lose her temper, but kept on fighting. Finally, miscommunication led to Winter knocking Valkyrie down from the apron, and Kong took advantage of this, hitting Winter with the Awesome Bomb for the win.
Awesome Kong defeated Winter with the Awesome Bomb in 07:23 Rating: **
Beatdown and save Winter and Valkyrie didn’t take too kindly to this embarrassing loss, and Valkyrie entered the ring with a chair, smashing it in the back of Kong. The tag champs continued the beat down on Kong, with still no Melanie Cruise in sight. Suddenly, a robed woman runs down the aisle and into the ring, attacking Winter and Valkyrie with kicks and strikes, hitting a dropkick on Winter who falls out of the ring, Valkyrie soon joining her on the outside. The woman reveals herself to be - Athena! The half-sister of Awesome Kong has returned! The two siblings look at each other for a moment before embracing each other. What a lovely family reunion. Rating: ***¼

TNAW - Wired! - 23.04.2014
Surprise attack! Welcome to another edition of TNAW Wired! - coming to you directly on the Intertube! We open with Chasity Taylor taking a cameraman along backstage searching for Heidi Lovelace, who has wanted to say a few words. They pass Awesome Kong, Taylor greeting her as they go past. Suddenly, there is a big ruckus, as Winter and Valkyrie, the TNAW Tag Team champions, attack Kong. They strike quick and they strike hard, and Kong is just too slow to get hold of them. Taylor nearly gets herself in trouble when venturing too close, but the end result is that Kong is down and out, and Taylor shouts for some trainers to come and help. Rating: *¼
Heidi wants a new chance! After seeing a video package of Rob Terry and Tara’s ventures so forth in TNAW (eww), Chasity Taylor stands by with Heidi Lovelace, still suffering from the cut over her eye from the match against Serena last week. Heidi says that the vicious and uncalled-for attack by Serena was the only reason she lost that match. She is getting close to defeating her, she can feel it! Heidi calls out for the matchmakers in TNAW to set up a third encounter between the two. And this time, it will be the time for the “Vintage Vixen” Heidi Lovelace. Rating: *
Jessie Belle Smothers vs “Ronin” Nikki Storm - QoTR 1st round
The 1st qualifying round for Queen of the Ring is well underway, and tonight it was one-half of the SnS Express taking on Nikki Storm. The Smothers girls are without their father now, and must manage on their own. Storm demanded to be called “Ronin” Nikki Storm in this match, as she is now offically without a master with the departure of Brooke Hogan. I don’t know if the Scot fancy herself like an European samurai or if she is advertising the fact that she is open to employment, but she did manage to go through to round 2 in the QoTR, defeating Jessie in short order.
Nikki Storm defeated Jessie Belle Smothers with a Fisherman’s neckbreaker in 03:43 Rating: **¼
Just looking after my sister! Backstage, Chasity Taylor is having a busy day, as she yet again is leading the cameras where the action is. Now, it is the returning Athena who is upset at her half-sister being attacked by the tag-champs, and is arguing with Melanie Cruise backstage while Kong is being attended to. Cruise is telling Athena that they got this, but Athena points out that they clearly don’t, and that she should be looking after her partner. Athena walks away, and Chasity asks her if she is thinking about reforming the Sisters of No Mercy. Athena rejects this idea, as Kong already has a tag partner. Besides, she’s gunning for the Queen of the Ring crown this year. Rating: **¼
Hailey Hatred vs Madison Rayne - non title match There has been no official top contender for the TV Title match, but Hailey Hatred might be considered one after this match. Madison has barely wrapped up her business with her former BFF, Kimberly, and probably didn’t know what to expect of Hailey Hatred, a woman who has come out on the losing end of the deal with the Old Guard vs B****es in Black war. But besides a brief offense in the start of the match, Hatred completely decimated Rayne tonight. It was only the fortitude and experience of the champion that kept Rayne from losing early on. Instead, she got a few flash pin attempts out of it, but Hailey methodically wore down her back before cinching in the submission hold, causing the champ to tap out. As she left, Hailey had a demonic grin on her face, motioning for Madison’s belt.
Hailey Hatred made Madison Rayne submit to the Bridging Double Chickenwing in 06:11 Rating: **¼
Saraya cleans out the house We see video footage from England, more specifically Saraya Knight in her Knight household. As she runs down her no good daughter, she is rummaging through her old room, picking up memorabilia from the past, like old toys, drawings from school and so on. She breaks toys, throws away stuffed animals and calls the drawings rubbish. She says her daughter cannot draw, and she cannot wrestle! She says they’re clearing away her room and making it into a gym. What a horrible mother! Rating: ***
Blatant plug by the World Champion and her boyfriend A video footage is shown of Tara and Rob Terry (the second one tonight). In this one, they’re working out and promoting Tara’s workout DVD. They are telling that everyone may look like them if they have the discipline to work out properly and to keep a healthy diet. As they gaze lovingly into each other’s eyes, they also admit that there are other ways of burning calories, but that DVD is not for sale. Rating: **¼
The Canadian Ninjas vs The Martinez’
The Ninjas might have suffered a loss at the hands of the devious Canadians at Caged Fury, but Rose and Mercedes have worked hard together the following weeks to work in their routine and their strategy. Mercedes has probably taught Rose a little cynicism, as she wasn’t her standard self of careful, trusting and trying to fight the fairest fight possible. Portia Perez’ shenanigans didn’t work as they used to, and Rose didn’t fall for the “shake hands” trick yet again. The two powerhouses on the teams, Nicole and Mercedes fought a hard battle of forearms and kicks, drawing ohhs and ahhs from the crowd. Still, the Ninjas managed to isolate Rose, and only timely interventions from Mercedes kept them in the game. When Nicole’s lariat missed and hit Portia, the tides turned for the Martinez’, who hit Nicole with a series of tandem maneuvers beforing hitting a wheelbarrow splash that Rose likes to call the Martinez’ Pancake. A big victory for the sisters in laws! The Martinez (Rose & Mercedes Martinez) defeated The Canadian Ninjas (Nicole Matthews & Portia Perez) when Rose pinned Nicole after The Martinez Pancake in 07:50
Rating: ***
Britani not intimidated by her mother Chasity is backstage with Britani Knight, who claims that her mother’s action hurts her, of course they do! But Saraya mustn’t forget that Paige is a big girl now, if she wants to kick her out of the house, fine, she can live somewhere else. And if her mother thinks she has forgotten the loss at Caged Fury, she hasn’t. Saraya’s time is over, now it’s Britani’s turn! Rating: **¾
Awesome Kong vs Tara (c) w/Rob Terry for the TNAW World Title
Even though the Old Guard are banned from working together, one couldn’t help but think that the ambush on Awesome Kong earlier tonight was a little help to their former leader, Tara. Kong looked worse for wear in the ring tonight, as she tried to regain the title she lost three and a half year ago. Kong has changed her style and outfit from back then, and looks in much better shape physically. She still had the size and strength advantage on Tara though, but the world champion had a big advantage in her corner, Rob Terry. Both Athena and Melanie Cruise came out to even out the numbers advantage, but were ejected by the referee due to not having a referee’s license! This allowed Rob Terry free reign to terrorize Kong when Tara had the ref distracted, preventing Kong from mounting a decent offensive. Finally, Athena had had enough, and ran in to attack Rob Terry. Terry swatted her away, grabbed hold of her and threw her into the ring, where she happened to trip Tara, causing the very cheap DQ decision by the referee.
Tara w/Rob Terry defeated Awesome Kong via DQ in 10:12 to retain the TNAW World Title Rating: *
Show rating: **
Notes: Tara has now evaded both Cruise and Awesome Kong, the remaining members of the winning War Games team. The World Champion looks to reign supreme now, but in a month’s time, we will see who wins the Queen of the Ring and also becomes the top contender!

Pride and Glory:
Can't believe you actually made me think of Kimberly as a credible TV Champion. She'd been such a job-girl for so long, but you built her back up well. Has to be a feel good moment for her to turn things around.
Never saw the Hatred turn coming. If anyone, I thought maybe Snuka would eventually join the Old Guard.
Rob Terry is entertaining the hell out of me.
And another swerve at the end, at least for me, in Gail Kim winning the title. Never gave her much of a shot. Great ending with her ejection from the Old Guard. Surprised the likes of Kong and Cruise would come to her rescue.

TNAW - Saturday Night Showdown - 26.04.2014
Tonight on Showdown, the QoTR qualifiers continue, and the Japanese duo of Ray & Leon are in action against the tag team champions in non title action!
Sitdown interview with Athena Dave Prazak talks with the former TNAW Tag Team champion Athena, mainly about her return and what her plans are. Athena says that she wasn’t in a good place before she came back to TNAW (a stab at WWE, her former employer), and is looking forward to her new period her. As to her plans, like she told Chasity Taylor last week, she is not here to immediately reform The Sisters of No Mercy. She has other belts in sight, and admits that the QoTR tournament is a big motivator. She has won the tournament before, and knows she can do it again.
Rating: **
Allysin Kay vs Athena - Queen of the Ring 1st round In her first match back in TNAW, Athena faced Allysin Kay for a spot in the next round of the QoTR tournament. As she’d just told Dave Prazak, she has won this tournament before, and has no intentions of losing in the first round. Allysin tried bringing down her partner, Taylor Made, but again the referee banned her from being ringside without a manager’s license. Seems that the new management in TNAW is really enforcing the rules more strictly than Brooke Hogan. The end result would probably be the same though, as Athena quickly hit the O-Face for the victory.
Athena defeated Allysin Kay with the O-Face after 01:46 Rating: * ****¾
Britani home with her family As a response to the video shown on Wired last Wednesday, a video of Britani Knight and her two brothers air. In it, both Zak and Roy defend their sister, appealing to their mother’s family honor to do the right thing and end this fight now, before anyone gets too hurt. Britani then points out that one way or another, she will end this fight. For her family, for her career and for her mother’s sake
Rating: ***¼
Ray & Leon vs Winter & The Valkyrie - non title match While Ray and Leon were successful in their first outing here in TNAW, this was a much more difficult match, as they faced the current tag team champions. Winter has been out injured for a while, but she was now ready to continue her commitments as tag team champion. I don’t think the champions were ready for the quickness of the Japanese, as they hit the champions with several nice and crisp tag team double moves in the start. Fingers to the eye by the wily Winter shifted the tides, and her experience combined with the power of the Valkyrie gave the eastern duo worries. They isolated Leon and kept Ray out with all means necessary, always keeping one step ahead of the referee. Ray got frustrated at this, and was arguing with the referee several times. While the referee was busy getting Ray out of the ring, Leon hit an octopus hold out of nowhere. Since the referee looked another way anyway, Valkyrie entered and hit a stunning kick to the head of Leon. Winter hit her finisher, wrapping up the victory for the former Old Guard tandem.
Winter & Valkyrie defeated Ray & Leon when Winter hit Leon with The Swinging Side Slam in 09:26 Rating: **½

Yet another wrestler goes through to the next round of the Queen of the Ring tournament. Winter and the Valkyrie can also celebrate a victory tonight, but on Wednesday, they need to prepare for their Tag Title match against the Martinez’!

TNAW - Wired! - 30.04.2014
Britani Knight vs Taylor Made - QoTR 1st round I am pretty sure Britani’s issues with her mother, Saraya Knight, bothers her deeply, but it didn’t prevent her from putting up a good fight here in the QoTR 1st round. Even with her partner, Allysin Kay, banned from ringside due to the new strict policy here in TNAW, Taylor held her own against the former TV Champion for a while. She used basic, but sound submission moves to wear Knight down before trying to finish her off with a big move. With the fans in her back, and the thought of her mother gloating probably gave her the extra energy she needed to put this in the books.
Britani Knight defeated Taylor Made with the Knight Rider in 04:52 Rating: ***¼
Heidi calls out Serena We’re back from a video montage, and Heidi Lovelace is in the ring, still sporting a cut from Serena’s errant elbow a couple of weeks back. “The Vintage Vixen” says that all her attempts at getting the rematch she rightfully deserves, has failed. Serena doesn’t respond to her e-mails, the management doesn’t answer her calls.. it seems as if Serena realizes her luck has struck twice, and that it is unlikely to strike a third time. At this, Serena comes out and dismisses Heidi’s claims as lies. She is not afraid to face Heidi, and can defeat her for the third time whenever she’s ready. Heidi says she doesn’t want to beat and humiliate Serena for free on the Internet, she wants to do it on live iPPV! Serena agrees to have the match at Queen of the Ring. Rating: **¼
Hatred certain of repeat victory Chasity Taylor talks to Hailey Hatred about her convincing victory over Madison Rayne in their non-title bout one week ago. Hatred laughs, saying that it might come as a surprise to a lot of people, but it did not come as a surprise to her. She says that Rayne is fragile, weak and that if they are put in the same ring again, the result will be inevitable, Hatred will walk away as the new TV Champion. Rating: **¾
Hailey Hatred vs Stephanie Smothers As last week, Hatred dominated in her singles encounter, tossing her opponent around like a rag doll and punching the bejeezus out of her. She actually could have gone for the pinfall earlier, but chose to continue dishing out the beating. The referee actually threatened to disqualify her for excessive violence if she didn’t put an end to it. She adhered, reluctantly, to the referee, locking Smothers into her finisher.
Hailey Hatred defeated Stephanie Smothers when Stephanie submitted to the Bridging Double Chickenwing in 03:12 Rating: **¾
Sarita and Martinez run-in Backstage, Chasity Taylor is trying to get a few words from Mercedes Martinez about her upcoming title match against Winter & Valkyrie, when Sarita, Mercedes’ former tag partner enters, just wanting to wish Mercedes good luck and to apologize for not contacting her earlier. The two have a somewhat awkward conversation about what they’ve been up to since they last met. Afterwards, Lenny Leonard commented that the conversation reminded him about the time he met his ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend. It was _that_ awkward. Rating: **¼
A violent feud Footage is shown highlighting the various encounters between Hamada and Jessica Havock, ending with their battle at Caged Fury, which ended in a countout draw. We also see a shot of the QoTR bracket, where Havock and Hamada are scheduled to meet in the next round. An insert promo of the gasmask-wearing Havock also airs, where J-Hav says that as fortune will have it, their paths crosses again really soon, and the world will then see who the strongest is. Rating: **¼
Champions taunt the former champions Chasity Taylor interviews Winter and Valkyrie about their big, upcoming challenge, The Martinez’, and while the champs are 100 % sure of victory, they’d rather tag about Cruise & Kong, the former champs and their nemeses from the cage at War Games. Winter says that they were stupid to challenge Tara for the gold. With her wrist injury and ring-rust, Winter is pretty sure they could have defeated them. But now, it was too late, and they were facing opponents like The Martinez’, a stupid team with two matches on their CVs. Winter wraps up the promo by saying that Kong maybe should reform the Sisters of No Mercy and try to give them a little competition. Rating: ***
Nicole Matthews vs Ray While both of these women are primarily tag team wrestlers, they put on a good match tonight. Ray’s quickness and amazing agility was evident from the get go, and Nicole had to use her strength to combat the Japanese woman’s extraordinary skills. While Nicole had problems keeping up with Ray, Portia Perez had no problems getting in and distracting the referee, who promptly ejected Portia due to the ban on tag partners and other non-approved managers. This gave Nicole the chance she needed to cheat her way to the upper hand. The Candian ground Ray, trying to injure her back and legs in order to prevent her from using her aerial prowess. She didn’t quite succeed, as Ray took to the wings a couple of, albeit with great pain. Still, Nicole got him in one of his moves and dumped on his face with the Vancouver Maneuver to win this tough match.
Nicole Matthews defeated Ray via the Vancouver Maneuver in 07:04 Rating: ***¼
Madison admits she was unprepared Chasity Taylor stands by with Madison Rayne, the TV Champion, who was soundly defeated by Hailey Hatred one week ago. Madison admits that she was not prepared for Hailey’s onslaught, and while she knew she was strong, she never knew she was THAT strong. If they’ll meet again, and she’s sure they’ll win, she will have a different mentality and a different battle plan going into the fight. The TV Title was here to stay.
Rating: ***¾
The Martinez vs Winter & Valkyrie (c’s) for the TNAW Tag Team Titles
Mercedes and Rose might have defeated the Canadian Ninjas last week, but the current champions are a different story altogether. Winter is one of the most experienced tag team wrestlers in TNAW history, with several different partners and a two-time champion. Still, the family bond between Rose and Mercedes is growing stronger every day, and this time it was actually Rose who had to bail out Mercedes on a couple of occasions, especially when Winter rocked the ring with the Spinning Side Slam. The match broke down at this point, with Valkyrie also storming the ring to get in a boot or two here and there. Both Mercedes and Valkyrie disappeared out of the ring and to the floor, and while the ref tried to make them go to their corners, Winter delivered a low blow to Rose, followed by the Spinning Side Slam. This time, Mercedes couldn’t reach Rose in time to repay the favor.
Winter & Valkyrie def. The Martinez’ in 10:15 when WInter hit Rose with the Spinning Side Slam after 15:04.
Rating: ***
Show rating: ***
A great show to round up the month of September. Winter & Valkyrie look pretty unstoppable as TV Champs and Britani Knight advances to the next round of QoTR.
