TNAW StarStruck - 15.01.2011
Tara finds out she`s without a match In Christy Hemme's office, Tara is looking over a sheet with tonight's matches on it. She throws it to the floor and asks Christy why she doesn't have a match tonight. Christy says she had a match last week. Tara tells Christy that even if she beats 1 other woman every week and on every PPV, she would need 5 months in order to go through them all. Every time she isn't booked, she needs one more week to get to the world title. Christy promises to book her a match next week. Tara picks up her bag and tells Christy she'll be back when she gets a match.
Eve Torres & Traci Brooks vs The Social Club (Social & Coley)
After tweeting about it excessively, Annie Social and Melanie Coley is back in TNAW. The makeshift tag-team of Eve Torres and Traci Brooks had trouble handling the 170-pounder Coley, who along with Miss Elizabeth is the closest to Queen Kong in size here in TNAW. The Social Club's tactics are simple. Coley is the brawns, Social the brains. Social uses dirty and underhanded tactics like eye gouging and choking, softening up their opponents until Coley is tagged in and can do some big power-moves, like a big sideslam on Torres halfway into the match. After sending Torres off the apron with a forearm, Social tagged Coley and brought Brooks down with The Double Crashdown, a double thrust spinebuster. When they left the ring, Social stared blankly into the camera before whispering "She's coming!"
The Social Club (Annie Social and Melanie Coley) defeated Eve Torres and Traci Brooks when Coley pinned Traci with the The Double Crashdown in 0:06:49. Rating: *
Kim and James confronts Elizabeth again Miss Elizabeth is stretching backstage, when her former allies, Mickie James and Gail Kim come over. Gail and Mickie starts talking about having been tag team champions last year, and asks Miss Elizabeth what titles she's held in TNAW. Yeah, nothing. Miss Elizabeth has had enough, and tells them that while they were fighting petty feuds and losing them, she has defeated ODB, former world champion Tara and is one of only two women in TNAW who have pinned Queen Kong. Kim wants to get into Liz's face, but Mickie stops her, telling her that maybe they should take this to the ring. Gail agrees, and the announcers tell us that this match will be our main event of the evening!
Christina von Eerie vs ODB
ODB is back on track after her loss against Miss Elizabeth at Pride and Glory. This short match saw a lot of fists flying, before ODB almost put von Eerie away with a fallaway slam. von Eerie bounced back, but missed a flying dropkick and was defeated with the Flying Thesz Press.
ODB pinned Christina von Eerie with the Flying Thesz Press in 0:04:00. Rating: * 3/4
von Eerie finds note After the commercial, we see von Eerie walk into the locker room, glancing angrily at Brooks, Torres, Shark Girl and Mia Yim, who're also sitting there. Von Eerie finds a note pinned to her locker room door. "TIRED OF LOSING?" is all it says. Von Eerie asks angrily who did this, but none of the other girls knows. Yim says it was there when she came. Von Eerie slams the door in anger.
Royalty in the ring TNAW's resident royalty, Queen Kong and Prince Nana, enter the ring triumphantly. Prince Nana again goes on about how Kong is unbeatable and that nobody in TNAW can defeat her. Nana wants to know who Hemme has appointed as the top contender, if anyone actually wants to face her at My Bloody Valentine in February. General Manager Hemme comes out and admits that there isn't a long queue of wrestlers who deserves or wants to wrestle Queen Kong. However, Queen Kong WILL have a match at My Bloody Valentine. Hemme has been making phone calls all over the world, trying to bring someone in to meet her. Nana laughs, telling Hemme that she can make all the phone calls she wants to, she won't find anyone willing to fight. Hemme says she's already found someone. Nana wants to know who, but Hemme smiles and says that information is on "need to know"-basis, and (holding the microphone out towards the crowd) YOU DON'T NEED TO KNOW! Nana objects vehemently, and Kong wants to inflict some physical harm on Hemme if she doesn't reveal it, but when threatened with being stripped of the belt, Kong lets the GM go. Nana claims it doesn't matter, Kong'll still win.
Jennifer Blake w/Lacey von Erich vs Michelle McCool w/Vickie Guerrero - Top Contenders Match for the TNAW Maiden Title
Before this match, Vickie Guerrero grabbed a mic. EXCUSE ME! rung out several times before Vickie stated her business. She confronted Lacey, asking her if she had her manager's license with her. Lacey said she still had a manager's license even though she occasionally wrestles. Condescendingly, Vickie says she knows Lacey has a manager's license, but does she have it with her. Lacey says no. Vickie then takes out her own manager license, and a copy of the TNAW regulations, where she has highlighted the paragraph stating that a manager must bring her license with her at all times, or be forced to leave the ringside area. Lacey and Jennifer try to object, but the referee agrees with Vickie, and Lacey has to leave.
This allowed Vickie to interfere and distract without Lacey being able to counter this. After a fiery start to the match, where the two blondes were close to victory several times with roll ups and cradles and a beautiful slingshot sunset flip by Blake, Vickie tripped Blake. McCool took control, hitting a nifty roundhouse kick and a russian legsweep. Blake hit a cross body to end this dominant period from McCool, when Lacey von Erich came running down the aisle, brandishing her manager's license just as McCool connected with a spear. Michelle then went for a DDT, but hesitated as she saw Vickie and Lacey argue over whether or not Lacey could do this. Blake backdropped Michelle and hit the superkick to become the top contender for the Maiden Title!
Jennifer Blake pinned Michelle McCool after a superkick in 0:10:40. Rating: **
Jealousy rears its ugly head Backstage, Larry Sweeney is having some problems with a vending machine. He beats on it, obviously having been ripped out of some quarters. Velvet Sky comes by, showing Sweeney to tip the macine to the left. A Snickers bar comes out. Sweeney smiles and thanks Velvet. Then, Sarita comes over, furious! She wants to know why Velvet is hitting on her guy, and she wants to know what Larry is doing with this tramp! Larry tries to explain, but gets slapped by Sarita before she starts brawling with Velvet. This quickly turns into a wild brawl, as Martinez and Angelina come to help their partners. To tip the scales into their favor, Sweeney comes running with Sara Del Rey, who grabs Love and Sky and throws them both into the vending machine, causing to fall on its side. Several Snickers bars pour out of the slot. As Madison, Lacey and Jennifer come over to chase Girls Gone Wild away, Sweeney picks up the chocolates and runs off with his girls.
Gail Kim vs. Miss Elizabeth
In the main event, Miss Elizabeth fought Gail Kim in a competitive match. None of the two are very popular with the fans, so the crowd did some duelling chants. Kim slowly gained control through her agility and speed, but didn't endear herself to the crowd by going after Liz's knees. Still, Kim dazzled the crowd with a springboard dropkick. The match ended when Miss Elizabeth hit a spear, slowly making the pin. Mickie James pulled the referee out of the ring, causing the DQ. Mickie and Gail attacked Elizabeth after the match, stomping on her head and trying to injure her knee with a knee-DT. Kim then hit the Eat Defeat - and Mickie hit the Mickie-DT. As StarStruck goes off air, Miss Elizabeth lies motionless in the ring.
Miss Elizabeth defeated Gail Kim by disqualification in 0:08:59. Rating: ** [Mickie James interfered against Miss Elizabeth.]
Card rating: **
Match observations:
Jennifer Blake is the new top contender to Nattie Neidhart's Maiden Title. As one challenger is officially announced, Prince Nana has declared that nobody will challenge Queen Kong. Can Hemme find a suitable challenger? And something is going on in the TNAW locker room, posting notes on von Eerie's locker room door. And who is this "she" who apparently is coming? Maybe you'll find out next week!

- Tara, you need to realize that you don't have any pull now that you can't go after the title. Silly girl. - I like the squash for the Social Club. I hope they can keep it up. - Job squad? - I'm really looking forward to seeing who you have planned for Kong. Hopefully it's not Chyna. - Ha! I like the bit with the manager's license. And Vickie is quickly surpassing Sweeney as my favorite manager here. - I guess you can't blame Sarita. Most men would dump her for Velvet Sky. Oh, and I did like the bit about Sweeney and the Snickers. You're definitely bringing the comedy tonight. - Things are continuing to build nicely. I like how everything has kind of been reset and we are starting new with a bunch of new feuds and being not sure as to where everything is going. Keep up the good work.

- I'm intrigued by the Social Club as well, my problem is really that I don't have any tag-teams that can take clean losses without looking bad.. so I guess that's leaving me with using makeshift jobber teams.
- Gail Kim job squad? I promise you that Gail will win at least 1 PPV match for the next 6 months
- I can promise you that it's not Chyna. But that's all I can promise.
- Sometimes I'm in the mood for comedy writing, and Sweeney and Vickie are easy to write comedy for
- Yeah, come to think of it, Pride and Glory was sort of the wrap-up PPV of 2010.
- Thanks for the comments!

Pulsar: It's not actually a website (yet), but here's a brief review of 2010 in TNAW. It's kinda long too, so read on your own risk TNAW – A glimpse of the first yearWhen Eric Bischoff and Hulk Hogan wanted to disperse with the Knockouts altogether, Dixie Carter decided to branch off the female fighters in TNA into Total Nonstop Action Women – TNAW. She hired known women's wrestler supporter and promotor Dave Prazak to book the show (and act as announcer) and former TNA knockout Christy Hemme as General Manager / Wrestler. They were given a one-hour graveyard slot on Spike TV, hoping to carve out a niche for themselves. The InvasionJanuary 9th marked the debut show, and in the very first match, Sarita and Taylor Wilde defended their tag team titles against The Beautiful People of Madison Rayne and Velvet Sky. The first show also saw a world title match (formerly Knockout Title) between ODB and Tara, with the champ coming out on top. Afterwards however, WWE Divas Jillian and Mickie James attacked them both, prompting a tag team main event which ended in a DQ when the returning Gail Kim attacked Tara and ODB. This was the first we saw of the stable known as The Stamford Divas. Several of the WWE Divas, also including Melina, Natalya (Nattie Neidhart), The Bella Twins (The Garcia Twins), Beth Phoenix («The New» Miss Elizabeth) and Katie Lea (Katarina), all led by Kelly Kelly (Barbie Blank) and Maria Kanellis, had defected from WWE and wanted to be a part of this. This «invasion» was the focus for the first four months. Most of the former TNA Knockouts banded together to battle this new threat. Some for added protection (The Beautiful People), others to simply prove that they were still the biggest, baddest dog in town (Amazing Kong, engaging in a violent feud against Miss Elizabeth). The Stamford Divas was unable to wrestle Tara's World Title away from her, even though they tried underhanded tactics like stealing her spider and seducing a referee. Maria had her own political battle against Christy Hemme though, and through ODB's betrayal, she controlled StarStruck for an entire month after A Girls Night Out in April. The violent feud ended at Caged Fury in May, where permanent control of StarStruck (with firing rights) between Maria and Christy was decided in the first ever Women's War Games Match. Sojourner Bolt, LuFisto, Alissa Flash, Hamada and Christy Hemme herself was successful when Flash put Melina in a figure-four leglock. Several of the former WWE Divas were fired shortly thereafter. The Blonde Bombers / The Beautiful People feudOne of the most engaging feuds in 2010 started when the masked and mysterious Miss Wrestling caused Velvet and Madison to drop the tag-team belts to Gail Kim and Katarina of the Stamford Divas, only one week after winning them against The Intruders (Mickie James & Jillian). It turned out to be the returning Angelina Love! Love felt forgotten and abandoned by the rest of TBP when she had to leave the company due to VISA issues, and had brought «Girl Dynamite» Jennifer Blake with her. They engaged in several fights, defeating TBP at Caged Fury and temporarily blinding Madison Rayne. TBP got revenge in a StreetFight at Queen of the Ring, and was also victorious in a six-women tag match at Tropic Tumble I. This match had an added stipulation – the losers would become the winners personal slaves for one month. Somehow, this period of indentured servitude actually seemed to soften their hatred for each other. When Madison Rayne suffered acute stomach pains just hours before wrestling The KongTourage at Pretty Amazing, Angelina Love stepped in and actually managed to win the tag titles alongside Velvet Sky. The now rather large group became a powerful force, invoking the Freebird Rule when necessary and enjoying a lot of success for the last few months. Madison Rayne, however, felt left out, and many speculated that she was drifting away for the group. The Age of Kong At Queen of the Ring, a devastating Amazing Kong rolled through the opponents, defeating Sara Del Rey in the finals. Kong had been left out of the title picture so far, but after beating Miss Elizabeth decisively at Caged Fury, she now set her eyes on the top title. With the help of her new manager, the Ghanesian Prince Nana, she allied herself with Sojourner Bolt and Gail Kim – who became the new KongTourage. These four took control of the power vacuum left when the Stamford Divas were forced to disband, and at Tropic Tumble I, Queen Kong defeated Tara to become the second TNAW World Champion. Kong was a dominating champ for the remainder of the year, defeating the returning ODB at Pretty Amazing, and then surviving the deadly cage at Through the Gates of Hell MMX, besting Tara, ODB and Miss Elizabeth in a brutal hell in a cell-like match. At Pride and Glory in December, she put her belt up against Tara one last time. If Tara lost, she had to wait one entire year for another shot (or until she had defeated every single wrestler on the roster). Kong won, and goes into 2011 as the undisputed champion of TNAW. The Fall and Rise of ODBFormer Knockouts Champion ODB started 2010 as the top contender, but was quickly knocked down a peg or two. Even though she naturally sided with the knockouts in the invasion, she always felt that she hadn't had her title shot. So when Maria Kanellis and Barbie Blank offered her a guaranteed title shot if she betrayed her team at A Girl's Night Out, ODB did so. Maria and Barbie double crossed her, putting her first in a Gauntlet Match for the World Title on StarStruck. She quickly degenerated into heavy alcoholism from there, blaming Christy Hemme for all her misery. It all culminated at Queen of the Ring, where Christy pinned a clearly intoxicated ODB. ODB then broke down and promised to go to rehab. Almost two months later, she returned to aid Christy Hemme against The KongTourage, who Prince Nana had ordered to beat down Hemme for some slight against the new Queen and World Champ. ODB felt that she owed Christy for saving her career, and even though Christy decided to step back from in-ring action, ODB actually earned herself a world title match at Pretty Amazing. ODB was unsuccessful in defeating Kong, both then and at the violent four-way cage match at Through the Gates of Hell MMX, but she had turned a new leaf and become a new person. The Maiden TitleA midcard title was instituted right away, with Hamada becoming the very first champion after defeating Sara Del Rey in the finals at My Bloody Valentine. She held the title until Tropic Tumble I, where Nattie Neidhart, with the help of her father Jim, became the second Maiden Champion. Nattie and Jim's actions against Hamada were borderline racist, and many felt relief when Hamada regained her title only weeks later on StarStruck. A final match between the two was scheduled for Pretty Amazing, where Nattie won a 2/3-falls match after a controversial ending where «the Anvil» stole the timekeeper's watch. Nattie has later fended off challenges from both fellow Canadian LuFisto and Madison Rayne, and feels pretty confident going into the new year. TNAW TrademarksTNAW has managed to create (or duplicate) several trademark events and matches that will hopefully go into history as innovative and classic. War Games – At the Caged Fury PPV, the former TNA knockouts finally defeated The Stamford Divas when Alissa Flash made Melina submit to a figure-four. This old NWA-style match was performed as it used to be, with two rings, a steel cage and wrestlers entering the cage at regular intervals. Since Caged Fury is still on the PPV listings of 2011, we can guess that War Games will find its way to TNAW PPV also in 2011. Queen of the Ring – A female version of the WWE concept of King of the Ring. A total of 16 wrestlers entered the tournament last year. 1st round and quarter final matches were held on StarStruck, and the semi finals and the final at the PPV itself. Sara Del Rey defeated Alissa Flash, and Awesome Kong defeated Sarita to move into the final. Queen Kong defeated Del Rey to become the very first Queen of the Ring. She used her title opportunity well too, becoming world champ 7 weeks later. Tropic Tumble – Even though all of TNAW's PPV were held at the StarStruck zone in Orlando, TNAW held Tropic Tumble in Honolulu, Hawaii, hosting the event at the beach. The crowd at this exotic event saw Angelina Love bodyslam Lacey von Erich into the water, amongst other things. Ultimate X – This TNA X-Division concept was brought over to TNAW at Tropic Tumble, when Nattie Neidhart defeated Hamada, Alissa Flash and Sara Del Ray for the Maiden Title. Through the Gates of Hell – When three women emerged as viable contenders to Queen Kong's TNAW World Title, General Manager Christy Hemme came up with a concept that, unlike the other trademark matches, were at least somewhat unique. A big cage, like WWE's Hell in a Cell, but with an added twist. To win the match, you had to throw the other competitors out of the cage. The very first Through the Gates of Hell match was won by Queen Kong (in a match also involving Tara, ODB and Miss Elizabeth) when she forcefully power bombed Tara through the cage match.

TNAW StarStruck - 22.01.2011
Nana and Kong want answers Christy Hemme has just arrived in her office, when Prince Nana and Queen Kong slams the door open demanding to know who Kong's opponent on My Bloody Valentine will be. Christy says it's well within her power to pit her against a mystery opponent, at least in light of Nana and Kong's own statements - namely that nobody on the TNAW roster can defeat her. Nana says Hemme's bluffing, that there is no mystery challenger. Christy assures them both that there IS indeed a mystery opponent. She won't say anything else, and threatens them with suspension if they don't leave their office right now. Kong turns over a lamp in frustration, but they do leave her office.
Christina von Eerie vs Tara
Tara wants back in the title mix, but have a whole lot of girls to go through. Tonight's sacrificial lamb was Christine von Eerie, the tattoeed mohawk girl. Von Eerie hit a few armdrags in the opening, but Tara weren't on the clock, and won early with the Widow's Peak.
Tara pinned Christina von Eerie with the Widow's Peak in 0:02:31. Rating: ** 1/2
von Eerie finds new note Christina von Eerie returns to the locker room, which is empty. Just as last week, there's a note on her door. "Tired of not being appreciated?" She looks around and spots a hand, covered with a black glove, pointing out from the showers. The hand beckons von Eerie, and a whispering voice says: "Come, follow me.." von Eerie looks around, and walks into the showers. The screen goes black.
Interview with the Neidharts The TNAW Maiden Champion hasn't been around so far this year, but had time for an interview with So Cal Val tonight. Nattie says that she overestimated Madison Rayne, but won't do the same mistake with Jennifer Blake. So Cal Val asks if she means "underestimated", but Nattie actually means overestimated. She doesn't see the point of preparing to a match she knows she'll win. Jim cuts through, telling Val that, in fact, Nattie will become a double champ tonight as she will challenge Velvet and Angelina for the tag-team title. Val wants to know who Nattie's partner will be, but is interrupted by "EXCUSE ME!" as Vickie Guerrero and Michelle McCool make their way on the screen. Vickie wants to know why Val is conducting an interview without her and Michelle. Vickie says that with her in their corner, Michelle and Nattie will certainly win the TNAW Tag-Team titles. Nattie & Michelle vs The Beautiful People in our main event!
Madison Rayne w/Lacey von Erich vs Sara Del Rey w/Larry Sweeney
Both these girls looks to get their career back on track since losing at Pride and Glory. Del Rey outweighs Madison by 45 pounds, and used her size advantage to dominate Rayne in the opening minutes. When Rayne fought back and hit a leg lariat, Del Rey used underhanded tactics to regain the advantage. At the announce position, Larry Sweeney was more interested in telling Dave Prazak about how wonderful Sarita's back rubs were, and that she and Mercedes will soon become tag champs. Sweeney cannot see any other challengers for Velvet and Angelina's belts. In the ring, Madison hit a superkick, but Sara kicked out. Madison went for the yakuza kick, but Sara kicked her leg away and hit a koppo kick. Madison wriggled out of the follow-up Royal Butterfly, but was kicked in the gut and dumped on her head with a piledriver.
Sara Del Rey pinned Madison Rayne after a piledriver in 0:07:55. Rating: *** 1/2
Mickie James vs Traci Brooks
Mickie James is back in the ring, facing Traci Brooks. You could see some ring-rust on James' performance in this match, which allowed Traci to get some momentum in the opening minutes, dropkicking James and taking her down with a gutwrench suplex. James knew that she couldn't blame a loss on ring rust if she wanted to get back in the main event picture. In a good Brooks-period, Mickie just grabbed hold of her opponent and dropped her with the Mickie-DT.
Mickie James pinned Traci Brooks with the Mickie-DT in 0:05:07. Rating: **
Miss Elizabeth confronts Mickie As Mickie celebrates her first win after her injury, Miss Elizabeth enters the ring and gets into Mickie's face. The talk smack to each other, before James pushes Liz in the chest. Elizabeth pushes back, sending Mickie into the turnbuckle. With her back turned, Elizabeth doesn't see Gail Kim sliding into the ring and takes out Elizabeth's leg with a shouldertackle. Kim and James stomps away on Elizabeth until ODB comes running with a chair, chasing Kim and James from the ring. Elizabeth doesn't look to happy with being saved by ODB, and rolls out of the ring without as much as a thank you.
Michelle Mc Cool & Nattie Neidhart w/Vickie Guerrero & Jim "the Anvil" Neidhart vs The Beautiful People (Love & Sky) w/von Erich for the TNAW Tag Team Titles
It's time for YOUR main event tonight. Vickie Guerrero and Jim Neidhart accompanied their girls out for this match, while Lacey came out with the tag champs. Lacey even showed her manager's license to Vickie before the match, not wanting to be humiliated like last week. Vickie was more active on the sidelines than Jim, shouting instructions to Michelle (and Nattie) all the time. Even though Velvet and Angelina had the experience advantage, Nattie may be one of the best wrestlers in the world today, and when she first got hold of Velvet, she didn't let go of her. Being told by Vickie to go tag Michelle didn't sit well with her, but apparently Jim agreed with her. They took Sky down with a couple of double team moves, until Sky reversed an irish whip, sending McCool into Neidhart. Angelina came in a house of fire, taking down both her opponents before being stopped short with a wheelbarrow faceslam by Nattie. As Jennifer Blake came down to equalize the numbers advantage of Team McCool-Hart, Nattie tagged herself back out.
Vickie tried to protest against Blake being there, but Nattie pushed her away and slapped Blake. The camera picked up something along the lines of: "Do you really think you have what it takes to defeat me?" Blake responded with a chop of her own, and the fight was on. In the ring, McCool was double teamed by the tag champs, eventually hitting her with the Makeover. Before ref Remsburg could make the count, Vickie pulled him out of the ring, causing the disqualification. Vickie objected to the disqualification, stating that Michelle's tag partner was busy brawling in the aisle, so it shouldn't count. Jim ran after her daughter, keeping her away from Blake as the tag champs did the same with Blake.
The Beautiful People (Angelina Love and Velvet Sky) defeated Michelle McCool and Nattie Neidhart when Sky defeated M. McCool by disqualification in 0:11:21. Rating: ** 1/4 (The Beautiful People retained the TNAW Tag-Team Titles.) [Vickie Guerrero interfered against Velvet Sky.]
Card rating: ** 1/2
An interesting StarStruck to say the least!
Who was the mysterious presence in the locker room, and what's her connection to Christina von Eerie?
Jennifer Blake and Nattie Neidhart has started their fight, three weeks before their scheduled match at My Bloody Valentine.
Mickie James and Miss Elizabeth looks to be on collision course, but what roles do ODB and Gail Kim play in all of this?
And who will be Queen Kong's mystery challenger at My Bloody Valentine?
Follow StarStruck next week, and more answers will be revealed.

- I'm liking the stuff with von Eerie. I have no idea where it's leading, but it has such a "Raven" feel to it.
- I love the "overestimated" jab by Nattie.
- Good win for Del Rey.
- James and Kim are two of my favorites and so is Miss Elizabeth. I can do without ODB, but this is definitely a fun feud for me.
- Vickie Guerrero has really added something to the circuit. She definitely gives it a breath of fresh air and really fits in well.
- Still looking forward to seeing who Kong's mystery opponent will be. I have no guesses at this point.

- I'm liking the stuff with von Eerie. I have no idea where it's leading, but it has such a "Raven" feel to it. You're quite spot on. As in, it's not Raven per say, but it will have a Raven feel to it. Yeah, I think so too. I have been thinking about bringing her in for quite some time, but I do know that many dislike her, so I was hesitant at first. I do have a lot of managers on the roster though, but so far I feel that they all fit their roles quite well. I love using managers, but they have to fill a purpose. I'm glad I haven't dropped any hints though, as they mystery opponent was changed a week or so before the PPV. Will explain more in a Behind the Scenes post Thanks for reading!

TNAW StarStruck - 29.01.2011Nana and Kong`s industrial espionageStarStruck opens with a shot of Christy Hemme's darkened office. Somebody is moving around in there, and we hear Nana knock his knee against a table and cursing loudly. Kong switches on a table lamp, and Nana sits down at Hemme's computer. He tells Kong that they'll find out who her opponent is. Unfortunately for Nana, the computer is password protected, and neither "pig", "fatpig" or "imbecile" is the correct password. Nana then discovers Hemme's iPhone, but cannot find the mouse to it. Kong asks what decade Nana lives in, and starts tapping away on it. Kong tells Nana there's nothing here describing her opponent, just some sort of music newsletter. They walk out of the office, confident that Hemme's bluffing them. Melanie Coley w/Annie Social vs ODBThe big girl, Melanie Coley, had her first singles match here tonight, taking on the former TNA Knockouts Champion, ODB. Coley tried using her strength, but was quickly assaulted by a barrage of fists by ODB. She exited to the outside for a timeout, but ODB followed her, even hitting Annie Social on the outside with a "stray" elbow. After some vintage outside brawling, they went back into the ring. The match was stopped short when Annie Social hit ODB in the back with a drop kick. After the match, Coley and Social put the boots to ODB until Miss Elizabeth ran in, clubbed Social in the back and tossed Coley to the outside. Coley dragged Social out of the ring before Elizabeth could inflict further pain. ODB defeated Melanie Coley by disqualification in 0:05:18. Rating: 3/4* [Annie Social interfered against ODB.] ODB and Elizabeth all evenODB extends her hand to Elizabeth, thanking her for coming to her aid. Elizabeth says she's not interested in her thanks. She came out here to help her because ODB did so last week. Now, they were even. As the two former foes were talking, Mickie James and Gail Kim ran in and attacked them both. As Mickie and Elizabeth exchanges fists, Gail hits the already tired ODB with the Eat Defeat. Elizabeth ducks a double clothesline attempt, and hits both James and Kim with one of their own. They're about to get up, when they notice ODB with a chair in the ring. They escape. ODB tries to tell Elizabeth that she needs her to watch her back, but Liz simply walks away. Interview with the Maiden ChampSo Cal Val catches up with Nattie and Jim Neidhart backstage. The Maiden Champion hasn't been at StarStruck so far this year, but Val wants to know what her thoughts are about the rumors of her using a loaded elbow pad at Pride and Glory. Jim goes ballistic, saying that it's always something. First it was the time that had expired, and now she is using a loaded elbow pad. Why cannot everybody just realize the facts, Nattie Neidhart is the Maiden Champion because she's just that good. Nattie says she won't comment on these groundless accusations, but she wants to know why Hemme can't find anyone else but those stupid Beautiful People to wrestle her. Jennifer Blake comes over, telling Neidhart to take good care of that belt, because she'll have it in two weeks time. Eve Torres & LuFisto vs Girls Gone WildLarry Sweeney wants to keep his girls fresh and ready for what he sees as the next chapter in their quest to win the tag team belts, squaring off against Eve Torres and LuFisto tonight. LuFisto's leg has improved since her brutal match against Nattie at Through the Gates of Hell, and you could barely see a limp tonight. She even had enough power in her legs to hit Sarita with a top rope frankensteiner. Losing against Eve and Lu would seriously derail Sweeney's title project though, and on a night where his beloved Sarita didn't have everything under control, Mercedes Martinez stepped up and hit Torres with the Mercedes Benz, a Spinal Shock variant nobody gets up from. Girls Gone Wild (Sarita and Mercedes Martinez) defeated Eve Torres and LuFisto when Martinez pinned Eve with the Mercedes' Benz in 0:05:37. Rating: *** 1/4 Lacey getting ready for her matchBackstage, Lacey von Erich is getting ready for her match against Annie Social. Tara enters the locker room, asking Lacey how much it will cost Tara to take her place. Lacey doesn't understand, so Tara makes a remark about Lacey's intelligence and places a hundred dollar bill in her hand. Lacey shrugs and tells Tara to suit herself. Annie Social vs TaraAnnie Social was expecting Lacey von Erich, not the former TNAW World Champion, and made quite a ruckus of it before the match. When Tara slapped her though, Social was more than ready to fight. Tara tossed Social to the outside, and when Melanie Coley helped Social back to her feet, Tara went after the bigger girl, giving her a forearm. As Coley and Tara started brawling on the outside, ref Mattano had no choice but to ring the bell and declare this a no contest. Security broke up the commotion, and on the way out, Annie Social almost attacked a camera man, screaming "She's coming!" into the camera Annie Social and Tara battled to a double countout in 0:11:11. Rating: ** 1/2 [Melanie Coley interfered against Tara.] Nana`s 10-minute challengePrince Nana and Queen Kong come out and announce that Christy Hemme has NO challenger lined up for her. It was all a ruse. She has probably contacted 50 wrestlers all around the world, but nobody dares to face Queen Kong. But unlike Hemme, Nana has faith in the current roster. Therefore, he will have a 10-minute challenge tonight. If someone from the back wants a title match against Queen Kong, they must survive 10 minutes in the ring with Kong! Hamada vs Queen Kong w/Prince Nana - 10 minute challengeAt first, it didn't seem like anyone would come out, but finally, Hamada made her way out to a chorus of cheers from the crowd. Nana mutters something about just having beaten Hamada, but OK. Kong tried to end this one quickly, but missed all of her backfists. An early Queen's Fury attempt ended in Hamada hitting a rana instead. A bear hug was broken up with several hard jabs to the chin. Hamada was even close to winning with a swinging DDT. And even when the clock started to approach the 10-minute mark, Hamada didn't avoid Kong, even though it was in her best interest to do so. No, she actually went for the Hamada Driver! Kong slid down her back though as the ref called for the bell. Kong missed another backfist, and Hamada finally hit the Hamada Driver! This means Hamada will get another shot at Queen Kong! Queen Kong and Hamada went to a time-limit draw in 0:10:00. Rating: **** 1/4 Card rating: *** 1/4 Match observations: Since Hemme obviously had the night off (and had left her iPhone in the office for some reason), we do not know if there's any truth to Nana's allegations. Will Hamada step up and face Kong at My Bloody Valentine? Who knows. Tara seems to be in a rush to get back to the top, even bribing Lacey von Erich to take her match. She didn't get a W in the column after tonight though. This means we still have only two matches scheduled for My Bloody Valentine. Queen Kong w/Prince Nana vs. (or Hamada?) for the TNAW World Title Nattie Neidhart w/Jim Neidhart vs. Jennifer Blake for the TNAW Maiden Title More matches will surely be announced in the next two weeks!

TNAW StarStruck - 05.02.2011
Christy lectures Tara In her offices, Christy tells Tara that she cannot simply buy other wrestler's matches. She understands that Tara wants to work her way up to another title match, but she needs to follow protocol. Tara nods and apologizes. She then impatiently asks Christy who her opponent tonight is. Christy tells her that she doesn't have an oppoent until next week. Tara starts to lose it now, asking Christy if she only wanted her to come in for this lecture! They exchange some words before Tara storms off.
Nattie Neidhart w/Jim Neidhart vs Velvet Sky w/Lacey von Erich
Her fellow member in The Beautiful People, Jennifer Blake, is officially the top contender for Neidhart's Maiden Title, but Velvet had a chance to gauge Neidhart's strengths and weaknesses for Jen Blake. Nattie has several times let it be known that she doesn't feel ANY of the Beautiful People are worthy opponents for her, and didn't pay much respect to Velvet either, slapping her and taking her time. Sky then surprised the champ with a spinning headscissors and a DDT. Nattie then rolled out of the ring, where it looked like Jim Neidhart slipped her an elbow pad! Back in the ring, Neidhart gave Sky a shoulder to the midsection before lifting her up in an airplane spin. After Sky came back down to the earth, Neidhart elbowed her in the head and Sky went down like a sack of potatoes. She threw the elbow pad out to her dad, and made the cover. Lacey von Erich protested heavily, but the victory stands.
Nattie Neidhart pinned Velvet Sky after an elbowsmash in 0:06:39. Rating: **** 1/4
Backstage dress-up Backstage, Madison Rayne is seen trying on different tops, mostly in pink, gold or silver. Annie Social and Melanie Coley comes by, telling her how gorgeous she would be in black. Rayne scoffs at them, saying that she doesn't want to dress in such a somber color. Annie gives her a black, sexy top, telling her to try it on. She takes off her top and tries it on (yes, this IS a T&A segment), but simply tosses it away afterwards. Annie tells her to keep it, in case she changes her mind. The camera pans out as Madison stares at the black top.
Angelina Love w/Lacey von Erich vs Mercedes Martinez w/Larry Sweeney
It doesn't look like Larry Sweeney has given up on winning the tag team titles from the Beautiful People, and tempers have flared between the blonde beauties and the latina powerhouses. Tonight, Mercedes Martinez showed Angelina Love that while Love may call herself "Miss Wrestling", Martinez is a tough nut to crack. And while Larry Sweeney did his part distracting the referee, Sarita ran in and tripped Angelina as she bounced off the ropes. Even though Lacey von Erich ran over and attacked Sarita, this was all the distraction Mercedes needed in order to hit a fisherman buster on Angelina to win the match. Jennifer Blake ran in to join the fray, followed shortly thereafter by Sara Del Ray (after Sweeney had yelled several times to backstage). Madison Rayne was the last one out, wearing the black top!
Mercedes Martinez pinned Angelina Love after a fisherman buster in 0:05:47. Rating: *** 1/4 [Sarita interfered against Angelina Love.]
The mass brawl was finally stopped when Christy Hemme came out with a throng of security personel. Christy said that it was obvious that we had two stables who hated each other guts. So she proposed a match for A Bloody Valentine - a six women tag match. If Team Sweeney won, they would be granted another shot at the tag team titles. Sweeney grinned at this, maybe this was his plan from the start?
Mickie James vs ODB
Mickie James returned to ring action last month, following her traffic accident last summer. She and Gail Kim have targeted Miss Elizabeth, who has received aid from an unlikely source, her former rival ODB. James quickly felt how tough ODB can be, as ODB chopped her from one end of the ring to the other. It was a brawl from start to finish, but as James had some problems pinning ODB's shoulders to the ground, Gail Kim came out and tripped ODB. ODB went outside to go after Gail Kim, but James blindsided her and tossed her into the ringpost. She rolled her back in and went for the Mickie-DT, but ODB threw her off and went for a clothesline. Mickie ducked and hit a roll up, putting her feet on the ropes and pulling ODB's tights for the tainted win.
Mickie James pinned ODB after a roll up in 0:07:20. Rating: * 3/4 [Gail Kim interfered against ODB.]
Prince Nana and Kong calls out Hamada Last week, Hamada survived the 10-minute challenge from Queen Kong and Prince Nana, earning herself a title shot. However, Prince Nana has never been known to keep what he promises (Tara's still waiting for her cash prize after winning Nana's Battle Royal Challenge last year), and this time was not really any different. Nana said that, yes, Hamada will receive a title shot at some point, but not tonight. Maybe in a couple of months. Dave Prazak notes that Hamada's contract will expire next month, so this might be a plan for Kong to avoid Hamada's challenge. Hamada comes out, disappointed to say the least. In the ring, she and Kong butts heads, but Nana tells Hamada that she didn't come in vain. Nana was on a business date earlier this week, and he has booked a replacement - Michelle McCool!
Miss Elizabeth wants Mickie James Backstage, So Cal Val speaks with Miss Elizabeth, who says that the recent trouble between her and Mickie James & Gail Kim is a distraction for her quest to win the TNAW World Title. However, it is a distraction she needs to put behind her. She says she wants Mickie James at My Bloody Valentine. So Cal Val comments that maybe she should have made it a tag match with ODB and Gail Kim involved also, but Elizabeth says she works alone.
Hamada vs Michelle McCool w/Vickie Guerrero
I'm not really sure if Vickie and Michelle knew what they agreed to when Nana offered Michelle a match here tonight. Hamada's unique style, hard kicks and aerial offense isn't something you see in WWE. McCool was not unexpectedly taken by surprise by this, and was taken down with a flying spin kick and a swinging DDT for a 2-count early on. A timely interference by Vickie allowed Michelle a brief period of offense, but she couldn't hit the Faith Breaker on a savvy Hamada who eventually hit the Hamada Driver to win this main event match. After the match, Vickie Guerrero entered the ring and struck Hamada weakly in the back with a chair. When she realized that Hamada didn't go down like she hoped, she fell down and started to shriek. Michelle kicked Hamada in the head and dragged Vickie out of the ring. Michelle's first month here in TNAW has not gone as she had hoped, that's for sure!
Hamada pinned Michelle McCool with the Hamada Driver in 0:09:07. Rating: ** 1/2
Card rating: ** 1/2
Match observations:
Vickie Guerrero and Michelle McCool must've thought they would just come in to TNAW and roll over their opponents. That is most certainly not the case, as Hamada proved here tonight. Speaking of Hamada, she wasn't granted the title match she was promised here tonight. Does Kong fear her?
Madison Rayne looks like she's about to change her wardrobe, but will that be OK for the rest of the Beautiful People?
Nattie defeats another of the Beautiful People, but what's with that elbow pad? What's inside it?
Here are the lineup so far for My Bloody Valentine
Queen Kong (c) w/Prince Nana vs Mystery opponent for the TNAW World Title Nattie Neidhart (c) w/Jim Neidhart vs Jennifer Blake for the TNAW Maiden Title The Beautiful People (composition unknown) vs Girls Gone Wild & Sara Del Rey w/Larry Sweeney Miss Elizabeth vs Mickie James

29.01: - Love that Awesome Kong showed she is smarter than Nana. - I'm really enjoying the Elizabeth/ODB alliance. I don't really like ODB so it's a good pairing for her. - A hundred bucks for a match? Not much of a pay window here in TNAW. - So Tara still needs to beat Social...and I'm really looking forward to whomever it is that is coming. - I really like what you are doing with Hamada. She's coming off very strong. Kong, Tara, Hamada, and Elizabeth definitely have the feel of main eventers now over the rest of the roster.

05.02:
- I don't blame Tara. I'd be pissed too if I got called in just to get that lecture.
- LOADED ELBOWPAD~~~!
- The color black is evil. Known fact.
- I like the touch that Rayne came out at the end with the black top on. Very interesting angle here.
- Hamada's contract is up next month? NOO!!!! Never thought I'd be that upset over Hamada.
- I like the part with Vickie. It does feel like a womanly Eddie Guerrero.
Good stuff once again. Kong-Hamada is something I'm really looking forward to, but I doubt that it's the surprise opponent for Kong. The Rayne stuff is progressing nicely as well. And Tara's annoyance with Hemme...this circuit definitely has some interesting stuff going on.

Thanks for the comments guys. I'm a little worried that the teasing (both who Kong's mystery opponent is and who "she" is) will result in disappointment, but I do like the angles themselves and the build up to it. Glad to see you're enjoying Hamada. She's without a doubt one of the best (if not THE best) women wrestler in the world, it's just so damn difficult to write interesting angles for her. The Kong-stuff has made it somewhat better. Pulsar: I would say no, actually. She hasn't been in WWE. But that's the last hint

TNAW StarStruck - 12.02.2011Tara vs Traci BrooksTara seems to be in a rush to mow through the TNAW roster and get to the point where she will again be entitled to a title match. Traci Brooks was the proverbial sacrificial lamb tonight, and couldn't hold on for more than a couple of minutes before falling to the Widow's Peak. Tara pinned Traci Brooks with the Widow's Peak in 0:02:53. Rating: *** Tara wants another matchAfter her match, Tara grabs a mic and demands that Christy Hemme send out another opponent. Tara argues that since she won so quickly, there should be time for her to fight another match. Christy Hemme comes out, apologizing to Tara, but saying that she didn't think Tara would need more than a couple of minutes to win, so there wouldn't be time for another match. Hemme does promise Tara an open challenge match at tomorrow's PPV though, something which Tara nods approvingly of. Mickie & Gail conspireBackstage, Mickie James and Gail Kim talk about tomorrow's match against Miss Elizabeth. James says that while she normally could have defeated Elizabeth easily, she still feels some pain in her hips. Gail promises to make sure Mickie wins the match. As they leave, the camera zooms in on ODB, who has heard the entire conversation. Kiss and tellODB catches up with Miss Elizabeth backstage, telling her that she got her back if she needs it tomorrow. Elizabeth scoffs at the idea, saying that she can handle it on her own. ODB warns her that she might be facing more than Mickie James. Elizabeth says she counts on it, but tells ODB that she doesn't need her help. So Cal Val interviews The Social ClubSo Cal Val catches up with Annie Social and Melanie Coley. Val wants to know what Annie means by "She's coming!" Who is she? Annie says that is something that will be revealed soon enough, and that she will change the TNAW landscape forever. "The Forgotten will rise against the established status quo, rushing in an era of darkness and sorrow", Social quotes dramatically before going in to her match. Eve Torres & Shark Girl vs The Social Club (Annie Social & Melanie ColeyEve Torres teaming up tonight with the pink fish Shark Girl. The team of The Social Club is an enigmatic duo to say the least, at least with the revelation that "someone" is coming. Shark Girl actually bit Social between her sizeable.. eh.. chest.. but the big Coley didn't find Shark Girl's antics funny at all, decking her with a hard right. The Social Club deposited Torres to the outside with a double backdrop, and caught Shark Girl with a Double Crashdown, a double Rock Bottom like move. On their way out, Coley mouthed a silent "She's coming" to the camera. The Social Club (Annie Social and Melanie Coley) defeated Eve Torres and Shark Girl when Coley pinned Shark Girl with the The Crashdown in 0:05:41. Rating: * 1/4 Hamada threatens VickieOn her way back from a vending machine, her pockets filled with Snickers Bars, Vickie Guerrero is cornered by Hamada, who yells and curses at her in Japanese, motioning to Vickie that hitting her with a chair is not OK. Vickie gets terrified and starts screaming. She throws a temper tantrum and throws several snicker bars at Hamada. Then, Michelle McCool attacks Hamada from behind with a chair. She swings it a little harder than her manager, and Hamada is beaten down. Vickie almost breaks down, telling Michelle that she still has nightmares from that Japanese girl in The Grudge 2. 8-woman tag team match: Girls Gone Wild, Sara Del Rey & Nattie Neidhart w/Larry Sweeney & Jim Neidhart vs The Beautiful People w/Lacey von ErichTime for your big main-event, an 8-woman tag team match pitting the Beautiful People against Larry Sweeney's girls and Nattie Neidhart. This match saw a lot of quick tags in the beginning of the match, until everyone but Sarita had been inside. Sarita sat on Larry Sweeney's lap at the announce table. Sweeney said that they didn't really need 4 girls to win this match, and that Sarita could do more good for him on his lap. Dave Prazak then asked Lauren if they could switch places so that he wouldn't be sitting next to that creep, but Lauren simply replied "in your dreams". In the ring, TBP had actually managed to corner Sara Del Rey, using fast tags to keep 2 girls in the ring at all times. As "Miss Wrestling" Angelina Love had her in a boston crab, she had a great view of Sarita and Sweeney cuddling at the announce booth, something she didn't particularly like. She fought out of the hold, and managed to tag Mercedes. Sara then went directly to the announce both, telling her manager and her team mate exactly what she felt. In the ring, Velvet had Mercedes set up for the Beauty Mark, but Nattie Neidhart tagged herself in. To show good sportmanship, Velvet didn't crack Mercedes' back, and spent so much time turning around that Nattie hit her straight in the face with her special, pink elbow pad. The rest of TBP tried to run in to stop the pin, but Jim Neidhart pulled Jen Blake down from the apron and Mercedes hit both Madison and Angelina with a cross body. This is the second time in two weeks Nattie has pinned Velvet after a devastating elbowsmash! Girls Gone Wild (Sarita and Mercedes Martinez), Sara Del Rey and Nattie Neidhart defeated The Beautiful People (Angelina Love, Jennifer Blake, Madison Rayne and Velvet Sky) when N. Neidhart pinned Sky after a rolling elbow smash in 0:13:17 . Rating: *** 1/2 [Larry Sweeney interfered against Madison Rayne.] The W is in the books for Sweeney's crew, but he spent the entire celebration period keeping Sara and Sarita away from each other. As for The Beautiful People, they were vowing that Nattie Neidhart wouldn't get away with the elbow pad trick again. Prince Nana & Queen Kong announcing a vacationPrince Nana and Queen Kong enter the ring, Prince Nana all smirk and laugh as he grabs a microphone. He insults Dave Prazak's hair, calls some of the fans fat pigs and then calls out Christy Hemme. When Christy shows up, Nana says that since he and Kong isn't needed tomorrow, they will go to Ghana for some vacation time. Hemme says they can do so if they want to, but that would mean Kong vacating the world title to her opponent tomorrow. Nana laughs again, revealing that he and Kong hacked into her computer a few weeks ago and discovered that there is no opponent. Now it's Hemme's turn to laugh. Hemme says that reading her Hotmail account illegally can hardly be called hacking. She says that all communications with Kong's opponent has gone through her password protected work account. AND, to tease Nana, Kong and the crowd a little, she shows them a receipt of the plane ticket. It appears that whoever is coming, flies out of Tokyo, Japan! This drives Nana and Kong crazy, and they demand to know who it is. Hemme says they'll know tomorrow, that is if they cancel their planned vacation to Ghana. Card rating: ** 1/2 Match observations: This was the final StarStruck before tomorrow's PPV - My Bloody Valentine. Let's run down the PPV. Queen Kong w/Prince Nana vs TNAW World Title Many feels that Kong has no equals here in TNAW. And even if Kong and Nana doubted Hemme could provide one for her, it looks like they're worried about who she has brought in from Japan. Who it is? Well, I guess you have to see tomorrow night. Nattie Neidhart w/Jim Neidhart vs Jennifer Blake Jennifer Blake is on a roll here in TNAW, but can she succeed where her teammate Madison Rayne failed? And can she avoid Nattie's magical pink elbowpad, which have knocked out both Madison and Velvet Sky (twice)? Girls Gone Wild & Sara Del Rey w/Sweeney vs The Beautiful People w/von Erich Sweeney seems hellbent on his prized team winning the tag titles, but after last year's loss at Pride & Glory, he needs to win this 6-women tag match first. Sara Del Rey doesn't look to happy with the direction his leadership is taking, can this be a deciding factor in the match? Miss Elizabeth vs Mickie James The returning Mickie James struck up a friendship with one of the other surviving Stamford Divas, Gail Kim, and has targeted Miss Elizabeth as one of the deciding factors for the Divas' demise. Will this be a fair and square match? And will ODB again come to Miss Elizabeth's aid? Hamada vs Michelle McCool w/Vickie Guerrero Michelle McCool has more or less lost every match since she came to TNAW. Angering Hamada might not be the smartest idea if she wants to start winning, but after the actions tonight on StarStruck, Hemme has booked a rematch from last week. McCool may be the biggest underdog at My Bloody Valentine, but with Vickie Guerrero in your corner, anything can happen. Tara's Open Challenge Tara is in a hurry to regain her world title, and has realized that she needs to beat opponents more often than she is given opportunities to do. Who will answer the challenge? Watch My Bloody Valentine tomorrow, and find out!

Queen Kong w/Prince Nana vs TNAW World Title Well, my original guess was Lita, so I was WAY off. (I took it from the music website drop). So at this point, I really have NO idea. Either Way, I think Kong wins
Nattie Neidhart w/Jim Neidhart vs Jennifer Blake I think Nattie retains, although either by DQ or cheap loaded elbowpad win. This eventually sets up Angelina Love vs. Nattie
Girls Gone Wild & Sara Del Rey w/Sweeney vs The Beautiful People w/von Erich I smell a double turn here. Sara has enough of Sweeney and Madison enough of Beautiful People. I'm thinking "She" gets involved
Miss Elizabeth vs Mickie James We both know Gail Kim and ODB get involved, but I see no way Miss Elizabeth is losing here
Hamada vs Michelle McCool w/Vickie Guerrero I don't care who wins, as long as Vickie gets DRILLED! Hamada with the win and further push
Tara's Open Challenge Christy Hemme answers?

TNAW - My Bloody Valentine - 13.02.2011
Kong and Nana searching for the mystery opponent Dave and Lauren welcomes us to My Bloody Valentine. After a few shots from inside and outside of the arena, we go backstage where the TNAW World Champion Queen Kong and her manager, Prince Nana, are searching for her mystery opponent. They're interrogating Eve Torres and Traci Brooks, and when they do not have any information about the identity of Kong's opponent, Kong gives them a backfist each before moving on.
Tara's Open Challenge
My Bloody Valentine opens with Tara in the ring, pacing back and forth with a microphone. Tara says that she's in a hurry to win back her world title, and that anyone who wants to meet her, should get in the ring immediately. However, it cannot be someone she's faced before. It's LuFisto who comes out, and the match is soon on its way. Throughout the match, you could clearly see that Tara is stressed by the fact that she needs to defeat everyone on the roster, trying to put LuFisto away early with several pinning maneuvers. LuFisto's no slouch, and had her own shots at winning this match, hitting the former TNAW Champion with a death valley driver for 2. As the minutes went by, Tara's frustrations built up inside of her, and she surprised the fans by gouging LuFisto's eye to gain control. She apologized to the ref, but I don't know how sincere that apology was, seeing as how Tara pulled LuFisto's tights when making the successful pin after a roll-up. LuFisto felt robbed for this victory, but Tara has chalked up another victory on her way towards another title shot.
Tara pinned LuFisto after a roll up in 0:09:18. Rating: *** 1/4
Hamada vs Michelle McCool w/Vickie Guerrero
Vickie Guerrero and Michelle McCool have not had the success they've wanted here in TNAW, and debuting on PPV against the former Maiden Champion, Hamada, didn't exactly prove promising. McCool stalled quite a lot early on, complaining to the referee that Hamada kicked too hard, her strikes were too stiff and her submission holds too tight. This parody of a match ended when Hamada simply pulled McCool back into the ring by her hair and delivered the Hamada Driver for the win. After the match, Vickie went ballistic, screaming hysterically. She grabbed a mic, hushing the crowd with her trademark "EXCUSE ME!" Vickie then went on to say that she didn't like TNAW. It was simply too hard and unforgiving, like men's wrestling. Women shouldn't wrestle like men, she said, clearly refering to Hamada. The crowd boos them heavily as they leave the ring area.
Hamada pinned Michelle McCool with the Hamada Driver in 0:05:31. Rating: ** 3/4
Jennifer Blake w/Lacey von Erich vs Nattie Neidhart (c) w/Jim Neidhart for the TNAW Maiden Title
It's time for the first of two title matches here tonight. Jennifer Blake is the second wrestler from The Beautiful People to challenge Nattie for this title, Madison Rayne unsuccessful in her challenge at Pride and Glory. Before the match, Lacey von Erich persuaded the referee to not only check Nattie for hidden weapons, but also Jim Neidhart. Even though "the Anvil" protested heavily, referee Laura Mattano did as instructed and found a pink elbow pad loaded with lead! The Neidhart's were then caught by surprise when Blake hit them both with a dropkick, sending Jim out of the ring and gaining a huge advantage early on against the reigning champion. A barrage of chops and forearms lit up Neidhart's chest, and when "Girl Dynamite" hit an early superkick, some of the fans thought we had a new champion. Nattie kicked out though, and gave Blake a jawbreaker to win some time. Nattie continued to punish Jennifer, looking for that Sharpshooter to put her away. Blake fought valiantly, almost winning the title after a cross body. After unsuccessfully winning the match with a back suplex, Neidhart went to the turnbuckle and unfastened it. As ref Mattano went to scold her and fix the turnbuckle, we see that Nattie has retrieved something from it, another pink elbow pad! The Neidhart's has hiddened a back up pad inside the turnbuckle pad, and as Blake slowly made her way to her feet, she was quickly knocked down by Neidhart. Despicable actions by Nattie, isn't she good enough to win on her own, not with the help of a loaded elbow pad?
Nattie Neidhart pinned Jennifer Blake after a rolling elbow smash in 0:09:06. Rating: **** 1/4 (Nattie Neidhart retained the TNAW Maiden Title.)
Mickie James vs Miss Elizabeth
Returning to PPV against the indomitable Miss Elizabeth was a daunting task for Mickie James, but the former Stamford Diva feels so strongly about Elizabeth being the one to blame for the Stamford Divas demise last year. Even though "The New" Miss Elizabeth has slowly become a crowd favorite, she doesn't really play by the book, and used a boot choke on several occasions. The match briefly spilled out of the ring as well, James introducing Elizabeth's back to the guard rail. After a few minutes, Gail Kim came out to cheer on Mickie, but she didn't stay neutral for very long, stealing the ring bell and clocking Miss Elizabeth with it when ref Rosenberg was distracted by ODB coming in to prevent Gail Kim's nefarious plans. It took some time before Mickie could make the pin, and Elizabeth got her shoulders up. As ODB ran after Gail around the ring, Mickie hit the Mickie-DT on Elizabeth to join the small club of wrestler's having defeated Miss Elizabeth.
Mickie James pinned Miss Elizabeth with the Mickie-DT in 0:10:16. Rating: *** 3/4 [Gail Kim interfered against Miss Elizabeth.]
Gail Kim vs ODB
ODB hit the ring after Miss Elizabeth's match, grabbed hold of a microphone and quickly challenged Gail Kim to a match, right here, right now. Gail accepted, and the impromptu match was on. ODB has faced Kim before, both when Kim was the poster girl for the Stamford Divas and when ODB went after Queen Kong's title and the KongTourage stood in her way. So these two knew each other quite well, their strengths and weaknesses. Gail Kim used her size and agility to its fullest, locking on a Cristo on ODB, almost forcing her to submit. ODB used her strength, halting Kim's momentum on a flying headscissors, dumping her on her face. The end came when Gail Kim decided to untie the same turnbuckle that Nattie already had untied. Apparently, the ref didn't tie it properly. ODB ran in to stop Gail, but it was too late and ODB slammed right into the steel mesh beneath the turnbuckle. She stumbled out backwards, right into a german suplex from Gail who takes this one home.
Gail Kim pinned ODB after a German suplex in 0:09:37. Rating: *** 1/4
Miss Elizabeth admits she needs backup As ODB gets backstage, clutching her head, Miss Elizabeth comes over. She admits she was wrong about not needing ODB's help, and that the only way they could hope to defeat Gail and Mickie, was together. ODB shakes her hand and promises Miss Elizabeth that they will get their revenge.
Six women tag-team match: The Beautiful People w/Lacey von Erich vs Girls Gone Wild & Sara Del Rey w/Larry Sweeney
It's time for the big six-women tag match. If Sweeney's girls win this one, Girls Gone Wild will get another shot at The Beautiful People's tag team titles. In a short video segment before the match, Angelina and Velvet are surprised to see Madison Rayne's new raven black hair color. We also see Sweeney telling Sara Del Rey and Sarita to put their differences aside and work together. This was a very competitive match, with GGW trying to isolate Velvet Sky early on. It didn't really work, and Velvet managed to tag Madison who hit Sarita with a beautiful Victory Roll for a two count. Girls Gone Wild might have put this one away early, but Sarita and Del Rey bickered a tad too much, Sarita blind tagging Sara just seconds before Del Rey hit a piledriver on Madison. As the match went past the 10-minute mark, Larry Sweeney tried to take an active part in the match, tripping Angelina Love as she went to the ropes. This brought LVE, Madison and Velvet to run over to Larry, which in turn brought Sarita and Mercedes Martinez! That left Sara Del Rey and Angelina Love in the ring, with Love hitting a crucifix out of nothing to win the match, effectively ruining Girls Gone Wild's title opportunities.
The Beautiful People (Angelina Love, Madison Rayne and Velvet Sky) defeated Girls Gone Wild (Sarita and Mercedes Martinez) and Sara Del Rey when Love pinned Del Rey after a crucifix in 0:14:41. Rating: *** [Larry Sweeney interfered against Madison Rayne.]
Aftermath Even though ref Rosenberg had counted to three and awarded Angelina Love and The Beautiful People this win, the action was far from over. Sarita and Mercedes brawled extensively with Angelina and Velvet, as Madison returned to the ring to prevent Sara Del Rey from piledriving Lacey von Erich to hell. As Sara retreated to the locker room, The Social Club of Melanie Coley and Annie Social hit the ring, circling Lacey and Madison. As Melanie grabbed Lacey by her throat, Annie threw Madison a black top. Madison quickly removed her pink top (drawing some whistles from the crowd), replacing it with the black one. She then nods to Coley, who takes Lacey down with a Crashdown (Rock Bottom variant). Angelina had by now managed to tear herself away from Sarita, and slid into the ring to help Lacey against the Social Club and the turncoat Madison. She was stopped short by Annie and Madison stomping her in her face. As Velvet made her way to the ring with a chair, she was attacked from behind by Christina Von Eerie! As Love, Sky and von Erich was womenhandled in the ring, Madison Rayne took a mic, telling Velvet that she never approved of the merger with the Blonde Bombers, and now realizes that she never belonged in that group in the first place. She's different now, she's one of them, she tells her former friends, gesturing to the black clad goth girls. Annie Social grabbed the mic from her, telling the crowd that next week on StarStruck, their leader will appear to explain their actions. What a disgusting and treacherous act by Madison!
Queen Kong vs Mystery opponent for the TNAW World Title
Queen Kong had no idea who she was about to face here tonight, but as Christy Hemme came out and introduced the Japanese legend Manami Toyota made her way out to the ring, she clearly knew she was in trouble. According to Dave Prazak, Manami is one of the most celebrated women's wrestlers of all time, having held several of the history's most renown women's belts. Kong was clearly at a disadvantage since she didn't know who her opponent was until now, while Toyota has had several weeks to prepare. Manami caught Kong a little off guard early on, using her experience to avoid Kong's big power moves and adopting a sort of hit-and-run tactics. And even though most of the crowd didn't know who this japanese woman was, most saw her skills and talent shining through her every movement. Manami has several unique moves, e.g. the Manami Roll which is a counter to a power bomb into a victory roll variant. Seeing as Kong's finisher is the Queen's Fury, a power bomb variant, Kong was almost put away by this move. There are no counters to Queen Kong punching you in the head as hard as she can though, but Toyota had strength enough to kick out after a backfist. There has been many good title matches (and matches in general) in TNAW, but this match has already been pegged as the best in TNAW history. Toyota's 24 year in the business, combined with the crowd's desire to see someone dethrone Queen Kong, saw one of the most exciting, entertaining and well-liked PPV matches in TNAW history. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. This must probably have been what Queen Kong thought as she caught Manami trying another Manami Roll. Kong squished her with the Queen's Fury to retain in a match which will go down in history as a classic.
Queen Kong pinned Manami Toyota with the Queen`s Fury in 0:16:55. Rating: **** 3/4 (Queen Kong retained the TNAW World Title.)
Card rating: *** 3/4
Match observations:
A terrific PPV match-wise, with the main event probably being the best match ever. Queen Kong avoided another title contender, this time specially imported from Japan. Can ANYONE defeat her?
Madison Rayne has finally drifted away from the The Beautiful People, having joined a faction consisting of The Social Club, Christina von Eerie and a so far unknown leader. WHo can this leader be? Follow next StarStruck!

Thanks man, I think you only got Mickie's win wrong, and that was kind of an upset seeing how rarely Miss Elizabeth loses. That's kind of interesting actually - from the top of my head, I only think she's lost to Kong in singles action.. and still have only 1 title match under her belt (in a four-way with Kong, Tara and ODB).
I really need to make some sort of statistics on both her and Kong..
Yeah, I didn't predict anyone would get Toyota right. If this had been real life, I think the reception would have been rather "who?" if the crowd had been casual fans. I mean, every serius women wrestler fans knows who she is. She's a legend in Japan. 4 and 3/4 stars is simply amazing, and I actually reduced her stats by a lot, since she had 100 in everything.

TNAW Behind the Scenes
Numbers StarStruck changed networks in february, but so far the ratings are stuck at 0.010, which is really, really low. Fortunately, almost 9000 bought the My Bloody Valentine PPV, which is the highest buyrate since Pretty Amazing (which was at half price). Add that to the fact that DVD sales of the PPVs are rather high, and Dixie Carter isn't that concerned with the low ratings. There has been talks about moving the tv shows to the Internet, as it would doubtfoul have any impact on the PPV buyrate at this point.
Comings and goings Mia Yim is a young rookie who will probably have to job for a while. Management has big hopes for her though, so she will probably not be an eternal jobber like Traci Brooks. TNAW has also signed former WWE Diva Serena Deeb, last seen on television as the bald lackey of CM Punk. TNAW has also signed east coast talent Brittany Savage. With her blonde hair and slim waist, many have already pegged her for a membership in The Beautiful People.
Lacey von Erich has apparently requested to not wrestle any more matches. The segment where Tara buys her spot in a match, actually came about when Lacey decided overnight to tell management that she would prefer not to wrestle - as she felt she wasn't good enough. It is thought Lacey will go over in a purely managerial role, but her stunt didn't sit well with the brass, even though it did bring forth a cool segment that furthered the Tara-storyline.
Queen Kong's mystery challenge Even though Manami Toyota and Queen Kong put on the best women's match in decades, she was far from the first pick, or so rumor says. Booker Dave Prazak contacted Aja Kong first, which would make sense as the two "Kong's" have history. When she couldn't make it, Prazak tried to lure Mariko Yoshida out of retirement and even sent a request to joshi hardcore queen Mayumi Ozaki. It was decided early on to bring in someone from Japan, but it seemed destined to not work out. One source indicates that, at one point, Jazz and TNAW had a verbal agreement to be Kong's mystery partner. Two weeks before My Bloody Valentine, Sara Del Rey tells Dave Prazak that Manami Toyota is booked for a Chikara event in Philadelphia the night before (along with Del Rey). Prazak then manages to book Toyota, and the rest is history. Jazz has neither verified or denied ever being contacted by TNAW, but has told Women of Wrestling podcast that she is always open to work on TV again.

I'm glad Kong/Toyota was a great match. I'm not generally a fan of the main event of a PPV being a mystery opponent. It's a big risk to do that, so I'm happy you pulled it off.
Elizabeth/ODB alliance is interesting. Question is, who turns on who?
Good stuff going on. Keep it going, buckaroo!
