Monday Night Anarchy October 24, 2011 Scottrade Center – St. Louis, Missouri Attendance: 13,230 (63%) TROUBLE AT THE TOP AJ Styles, Ric Flair and Chelsea made their way out to the ring at the start of Anarchy. AJ asked the crowd if they were witnesses to him defeated Cody Rhodes last night, at Downfall. The crowd reacted with a roar of boos. Styles said that he had always told Cody that he wasn't an elite wrestler, and that he would never be on AJ's level. Styles said he proved that last night; and that he also proved that there is no one in the HWL that can take the Heavyweight Title from him. Styles said that, starting tonight, The Conglomerate would start a new course to owning the HWL... not Peter Bradshaw. (crowd boos) Styles was interrupted as KURT ANGLE made his way to the ring, with a microphone in-hand. Angle told Styles that he should rephrase something he just said. Angle said that there is no one in the HWL that can take the title from Styles, as long as Styles had help in keeping it. Angle said that he had to stand back and smile as he saw the shock on the faces of all the people in Kansas City, last night, as Styles pinned Rhodes. Angle said he wasn't smiling because the coup worked, but because he knew that he was 24 hours from claiming what he was rightfully owed. Angle looked at Flair, and said that “The Nature Boy” knew exactly what he was talking about. Flair nodded as Angle told Styles that, by helping Styles keep the belt last night, Angle was guaranteed a Heavyweight Title match at Wicked Games. (crowd boos) Before Styles could confront Flair or Angle about the match signing, CM PUNK'S music began to play throughout the Scottrade Center. Punk appeared on-stage, clapping his hands, and said that just like everyone else, he was shocked to see what took place last night. Punk said he had to hand it to everyone involved in the coup, but that things were only going to get harder for them, not easier. Because, Punk said that coming from Chicago, there are two two types of people he can't stand: Cardinals fans and cheaters. (crowd boos) Punk said that he had done everything he needed to do to get a shot at the Heavyweight Title. More than anyone, Punk said, he deserved a shot at Wicked Games. The crowd started buzzing as Angle, Styles and Flair shared words, but they stopped as PETER BRADSHAW appeared on-stage with Punk. Bradshaw admitted that, even though he didn't care for the stipulation, it was written into Styles's contract, that he could agree to any Heavyweight Title Match he wanted. Bradshaw said that he also didn't like the way that last night's main event went down, but that he can't do anything about it. Bradshaw said that the contract is being finalized for Wicked Games, and that it will be signed after tonight. Turning to Punk, Bradshaw said that he couldn't deny what Punk had been able to accomplish since he returned to the HWL, and that his success was enough to warrant a title match. But, Bradshaw said that Punk's actions last night were unacceptable, and that he would have to face consequences. So, if Punk still thought he deserved a shot at Wicked Games, he would have to win his match tonight. Bradshaw then assigned a Handicap Match between CM Punk and the team of Kurt Angle and AJ Styles! Bradshaw left the stage as Punk stared into the ring, where Styles and Angle were eying each other. THE VIPER IS READY Backstage, Alisha Hicks is seen with RANDY ORTON. Orton said that, last night, he finally took care of what he had to, by beating the man responsible for giving him a concussion two months ago. But, tonight, he was turning his attention to the bigger picture – becoming number one contender for the Heavyweight Title. Orton said that there would be nothing better then moving on to the quarter-finals in his hometown of St. Louis. Alisha wished him luck as Orton walked away. Commercial BreakWicked Games Tournament – Round One #8 Randy Orton vs. #9 Evan BourneWhat a way to start off the path to Charlotte, North Carolina! The first match in the Wicked Games Tournament pitted two home-town favorites against each other, as Orton looked to continue his success from last night, and Bourne looked to get back on track after losing the X-Division Title. The crowd didn't know who to put their full support behind, and from the action inside the ring, both men made it hard for them to decide. However, the fans finally got behind Orton as AJ STYLES came down to the ring, and smacked Orton in the back with a steel chair! Bourne went for the cover, but Orton was able to kick out at two. Fuming, Styles slammed the chair down to the concrete and walked up the ramp and watched the remainder of the match. Orton fought his way back, after a body slam, viciously executed the Garvin Stomp, before aggressively pinning Bourne for the 1-2-3. Randy Orton pinned Evan Bourne after the Garvin Stomp in 0:12:07. **Evan Bourne suffered an elbow injury, and will be out two (2) weeks.** Rating: *** ¾ [AJ Styles interfered against Randy Orton.]After the match, Orton got back to his feet and motioned for Styles to re-enter the ring. Styles declined, leaving the stage, as Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels tried to figure out what Styles's intentions were tonight. Commercial BreakNOT READY TO GIVE UP As Anarchy returned from commercials, newly crowned Women's Champion, VELVET SKY is shown showing off the title belt to a group of on-lookers in the backstage area. Velvet said that she knew they were all envious of the belt, and everything she did to get it back. But, she told them that they will never have the success she has had, and that none of them will ever dream to be anything like her. Hearing that, the on-lookers turned and walked away in disgust, as Velvet turned around with a sly smile on her face. She started walking toward her dressing room, when she was stopped by BRIE BELLA. Brie said that Velvet should be pretty proud of herself, in that she became a two-time Women's Champion. But, she said that since Velvet did everything to win the title last night, she has to do everything to keep it. Brie said the first thing Velvet had to do was give her a rematch, and that Velvet would have three weeks to enjoy the belt before Brie took it back. Brie walked away as Velvet shook her head, but gripped the title belt a little tighter... Hamada vs. Nikki BellaHamada was in the ring tonight, looking to stop the losing streak that has plagued her since her arrival in the HWL. She found a little bit tougher competition out of Nikki Bella tonight, as the former Women's Champion showed that she was ready for more in-ring action then she had been getting. Hamada was able to land a number of powerful moves on her smaller opponent, but she landed awkwardly Nikki ducked an enzurgiri attempt. Nikki went on the offensive, and worked over Hamada's back. Nikki struggled to get Hamada into the air, but when she was finally able to, Nikki connected with a backbreaker. It appeared to be enough to put Hamada away as Nikki made the cover for the 1-2-3. Nikki Bella pinned Hamada after a backbreaker in 0:10:05. Rating: * ¾After the match, Nikki rolled out of the ring and made her way up the ramp, celebrating her victory, as the referee tended to Hamada. Commercial BreakCODY RHODES DEMANDS A MATCH As Anarchy returned from the break, CODY RHODES made his way out to the ring as Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels speculated as to what had to be running through his mind after what happened last night at Downfall. Rhodes entered the ring and asked the crowd if they were anywhere near as disgusted by what happened last night as he was. They responded with a rousing “YES!” Rhodes paced around the ring before saying that he understood why Kurt Angle and Martin Maldonado did what they did last night – as hard as it was for him to say that. But, Rhodes said that both Angle and Maldonado should understand why he was out tonight – especially Maldonado. Rhodes said that Angle would get his in due time, and that he wasn't the one that Rhodes was focused on. The man Rhodes was focused on was the man that physically cost him the HWL Heavyweight Title. Cody demanded that Maldonado come to the ring, so he could face Rhodes like a man – not like a coward with his back turned. This brought out KURT ANGLE and MARTIN MALDONADO, to a chorus of boos from the crowd. Rhodes dropped his mic, and begged for Maldonado to join him in the ring, but Angle stopped him. Angle said that if Ric Flair had come to Rhodes with the same offer, Rhodes would've been foolish to say “no”, and turn down the chance of securing him a title match. Angle said that he's sorry that Rhodes had to be the victim of consequence, but that it only proved that Flair was willing to do everything he needed to do to keep the belt around Styles's waist – at least until Angle took it from him at Wicked Games. And, as far as Rhodes and Maldonado went, Angle said that they would certainly face each other – just not tonight. Angle said that Maldonado still had a chance to do what Rhodes couldn't do last night: win the Heavyweight Title. All he had to do, Angle reminded Rhodes, was to win the Wicked Games tournament. So, as Maldonado's adviser, Angle said that he would be putting his attention solely towards the tournament. And, if by some act of God, he were somehow taken out of the tournament, then there would absolutely be a time and place for him and Rhodes to meet in the center of the ring. With that, Angle and Martin left the stage as Rhodes slammed his microphone down on the canvas. Commercial BreakThe Conglomerate (w/Ric Flair & Chelsea) vs. Colt Cabana/Yoshi TatsuYoshi Tatsu made his return to the HWL tonight, teaming with Colt Cabana, to take on Matt Morgan and Rob Terry. On paper, Cabana and Tatsu were totally out-matched, as Terry and Morgan were taller, bigger and stronger. But, as the match went on, it showed that what they lacked in size, they made up for in speed and agility. Cabana and Tatsu used those skills to wear down their bigger opponents, fully aware that, at any moment, the tide could quickly change. And, that's what happened when Cabana went to the top rope, and was caught by a massive clothesline by “The Freak”. Morgan and Terry then punished Caban and Tatsu with power moves, choosing to keep up the assault instead of going for the easy victory. Things became interesting as KAZ and EVAN BOURNE made their way down to ringside. Their presence was enough to distract Morgan and Terry, giving Tatsu time to get his bearings. As Morgan turned around, at the behest of Flair, Tatsu caught him with a kick to the midsection, and hit a fisherman suplex. Terry tried to make the cover, but Kaz and Bourne dragged him off the apron as the referee made the three count! Colt Cabana & Yoshi Tatsu defeated The Conglomerate (Matt Morgan & Rob Terry) when Yoshi Tatsu pinned M. Morgan after a fisherman suplex in 0:11:05. Rating: ** ½ [Kaz and Evan Bourne interfered against Matt Morgan.]After the match, Kaz and Bourne made their way up the ramp as Rob Terry started to make chase. But, before he could, Flair grabbed him by the arm and told him to wait; that Bourne and Kaz would get there's soon enough. Inside the ring, Cabana and Tatsu were celebrating their surprise victory. The camera quickly cuts to the backstage area, where the Titantron showed CHRIS HERO and DAVID OTUNGA attacking the new Tag Team Champions, STEVE CORINO and EDDIE EDWARDS. A few feet away, Shane Hagadorn directed Hero and Otunga, as HWL officials tried to break up the attack. After a few moments, Hagadorn called off the assault, and Hero and Otunga backed away, and all three turned to leave the scene. Josh Daniels mentioned that Chris Hero was moments away from his first round match-up in the Wicked Games Tournament. Scott Daniels said he wondered which was more important to Hero: regaining the Tag Team Titles, or possibly becoming the Heavyweight Champion. Commercial BreakEVAN BOURNE INTERVIEW Backstage, Alisha Hicks was shown with Evan Bourne, who had his arm in a sling. Bourne told Alisha that the trainers have diagnosed him with a sprained elbow, and that he would miss two weeks of action. He said that he still had the goal of winning back the X-Division Title from Adam Cole, and that if Cole was a true champion, he would give Bourne the rematch he deserved. Bourne said that he will be ready to go in two weeks, and if Cole accepted his challenge, he could expect the match of his life when Bourne was cleared to get back into the ring. Bourne left the scene as the camera went back to ringside. Wicked Games Tournament – Round One: #16 Brutus Magnus vs. #1 Chris Hero (w/Shane Hagadorn)Magnus came up short in his bid to defeat both Rami Sebei and Jeff Hardy, in a Handicap Match, last night, and it appeared that he had changed his tactics, as he attacked Chris Hero before the bell rang in this tournament match-up. Magnus kept up the offense for quite some time, until Shane Hagadorn tripped him as Magnus ran into the ropes. Hero used the distraction to take over the match. He wore Magnus down, and locked in a reverse chinlock that almost caused Magnus to pass out. However, Magnus was able to fight out of the move, and draw the match back to even. Both men went back and forth, trading control, until Magnus delivered a drop toe hold that sent Hero's head crashing into the bottom turnbuckle! Magnus pulled Hero away from the corner and connected with a legdrop for the 1-2-3, and a huge upset in the early stages of the tournament. Brutus Magnus pinned Chris Hero after a legdrop in 0:10:08. Rating: ** ¾ [Shane Hagadorn interfered against Brutus Magnus.]After the match, Magnus left the ring, celebrating his victory as the crowd looked on in shock. Inside the ring, Shane Hagadorn and the referee tended to Chris Hero's neck. DAVID OTUNGA made his way down to the ring, checking on his tag team partner, as Anarchy went to commercials.Commercial BreakHandicap Match: CM Punk vs. Kurt Angle/AJ Styles (w/Ric Flair & Chelsea)This match was the culmination of the events that started off the show tonight. As punishment, Peter Bradshaw put CM Punk against the two men who had already been signed to meet for the Heavyweight Title at Wicked Games; and Bradshaw made sure to be at ringside to see how this match played out. Things started out as would be expected, with Angle and Styles working together on Punk, wanting make sure he was unable to steal a victory and sneak into their title match. It didn't take long for things to unravel though, as both Styles and Angle fought for the right to take over in the match, which caused them to stop the assault on Punk and argue with each other. This gave Punk the opening for a comeback, and he took it with whatever energy he had left! Punk tried his best to single out both men, so as to not have to take them on at the same time. The plan worked, momentarily, but soon after, Angle and Styles regained the upper hand. But, that too, didn't last long, as both men returned to arguing about who was going to end the match. Behind their back, Punk was slowly regaining himself, and watched as Styles pushed Angle through the ropes. Punk quickly grabbed Styles in a roll away, as the referee counted the 1-2-3! CM Punk defeated Kurt Angle & AJ Styles when Punk pinned Styles after a roll away in 0:13:23. Rating: ***Ric Flair and Chelsea were fuming as the bell rang, and stormed into the ring as Punk rolled out, and made his way through the St. Louis crowd. Styles slammed his fists against the canvas before getting to his feet. Flair rolled out of the ring and started sharing words with Peter Bradshaw as Chelsea tried to console AJ. On the other end of the ring, Angle slowly got to his feet and walked backwards up the ramp, watching the scene in the ring, as Anarchy went off the air. My feelings on handicap matches are well known, but this one at least has the twist that Angle & Styles don't like each other, which gives Punk a chance. Styles attacks Orton, which I don't fully understand. Either way, Orton wins, and good that Bourne wasn't hurt for longer. I love Velvet as champ. Should have a lot of mileage. Don't think a Bella is taking her down just yet. Rhodes has to wait a little while before he gets a hold of Homicide. I like that... they could potentially meet in the tournament. More interference. Yargh. Your tag team division is a bit hard to follow if you come in. That's not really a criticism. You have some interesting teams - they're just not traditional. I hope Brutus makes a good run in the tournament. I like him a lot. Styles & Angle fall apart, and Punk gets a World Title shot. That match should be amazing. Good job at not making me hate a handicap match.

Of course there had to be a good reason for Angle helping AJ retain. A guaranteed shot is a lot easier than climbing up the ladder to earn one. And I agree with Punk... I can't stand Cardinals fans either!
AJ has enough problems as it is so why would he pick a fight with Orton now?! He must be super paranoid!
The Bella Twins are looking strong these days! Nikki over Hamada is very impressive.
That win for Cabana & Tatsu is pretty big even if they had some help. The Conglomerate are looking like fools a lot lately.
As much as I like Chris Hero, I'm glad he lost to Magnus. Magnus is a beast and I want Hero to focus on regaining the tag straps with Otunga.
Good writeup for the main event. On paper that's a very lopsided handicapped match but the finish made sense. Excellent work!

Monday Night Anarchy October 31, 2011 Xcel Energy Center - St. Paul, Minnesota Attendance: 12,464 (69%) INTERVIEW WITH THE CHAMP As Anarchy begins, Josh Daniels is shown standing in the center of the ring. Daniels announces that, in the weeks leading up to the Triple Threat Match for the Heavyweight Title at Wicked Games, he will have an in-ring interview with all three participants in the match. Daniels says that this will be a chance for them to give the fans their perspective heading into the main event on November 20th. Daniels introduces his first guest, the Heavyweight Champion, AJ STYLES. Styles makes his way to the ring, accompanied by Ric Flair and Chelsea, and Scott Michaels mentions the fact that the rest of The Conglomerate is nowhere to be found. All three enter the ring, and allow the boos to settle, before Daniels begins the interview. Daniels asks AJ about the events that took place at Downfall, when Martin Maldonado interfered, allowing AJ to retain the title. Styles tells Daniels that he is the most-decorated champion in the history of the HWL, and that is a fact that no one can argue. AJ says that he has surrounded himself with people that will stop at nothing to make sure the title stays around his waist; and that's exactly what Ric Flair did at Downfall. AJ says that he and Ric agreed to find someone that would be willing to do anything to get themselves a Heavyweight Title Match... and that man just happened to be Kurt Angle. Daniels then asks AJ what his thoughts were about Kurt Angle, and the events that led to Styles getting pinned by CM Punk, allowing Punk to enter the main event at Wicked Games. AJ shakes his head and says that he and Flair knew going in that Angle was going to play by his own rules, because he was a former Heavyweight Champion. But, Styles says that Angle crossed a line last week, by getting in the way. Styles says that Angle already had the match he wanted, but because he couldn't just sit by and let the "real" Champion do what he does best, Angle not only made the match at Wicked Games harder for Styles, but for himself, too. Daniels finishes off the interview, asking a question that has been asked for a week: why did AJ attack Randy Orton? With a smile, AJ says that this is the time of year when 18 people think they have a chance to step into the ring with the Heavyweight Champion. AJ says that he was just sending out a reminder to everyone who was "elite", and who wasn't, in the HWL. With that, AJ, Flair and Chelsea leave the ring, as Anarchy goes to commercials. Commerical BreakREADY FOR A CHALLENGE Alisha Hicks is seen with Brutus Magnus, backstage, as Anarchy returns. Hicks congradulates Magnus on his victory over #1-seeded Chris Hero last week, and asks how he feels knowing that he will face Randy Orton in tihe quarterfinals at Wicked Games. Magnus says that no one thought that he would amount to much since coming back, especially now that Rob Terry has aligned himself with The Conglomerate, leaving Magnus to fend for himself. He says that he's already shown that he can handle the challenge of facing two men at one time, which he did when he beat Jeff Hardy and Rami Sebei at Downfall. Magnus also says that he's been a former Tag Team Champion, and he knows what it's like to be on the top of the mountain. Magnus says that there's no doubt that Randy Orton is going to be a challenge, but he feels up for it. Kaz vs. Rob Terry (w/Ric Flair & Chelsea)Peter Bradshaw signed this match after witnessing the interference Kaz and Evan Bourne caused during The Conglomerate's tag team match last week. Bourne, who is still injured had to sit out this match, meaning his partner Kaz was forced to step into the ring with a very upset “Freak”. Kaz came out strong, using his speed to get the better of the bigger man, until he missed with a clothesline. Terry capitalized, hitting a bodyslam, and then methodically using his size and power to wear down Kaz. Kaz tried to fight back throughout the match, even connecting with the Wave of the Future on the concrete floor! But, with Flair and Chelsea at ringside, there was no chance that Terry would go down like that. Flair helped Terry back into the ring, keeping the match alive. Moments late, Kaz went for the WOTF again, but Terry ducked, and quickly hit the Freakbuster for the 1-2-3. Rob Terry pinned Kaz with the Freakbuster in 0:10:48. Rating: *** ½After the match, Rob Terry stayed in the ring, stomping Kaz on the canvas, as EVAN BOURNE ran down to the ring. His arm in a sling, Bourne was stopped by Flair and Chelsea as Terry finished his attack by hitting a second Freakbuster. Bourne stared at Terry, who flexed his muscles in the ring. Suddenly, from behind, ADAM COLE runs down the ramp, and smashes the X-Division Title into the back of Bourne's head! Cole begins to attack Bourne – focusing on his injured arm – as HWL officials rush down to break it up. Cole is pulled away, while The Conglomerate looks down at Bourne, as Anarchy went to commercials. Commercial BreakWATCHING HER BACK Again, Alisha Hicks is seen backstage, as Anarchy returns - this time with the Women's Champion, Velvet Sky. Hicks asks Velvet how it feels to be a two-time champion, and Velvet says that it's the greatest feeling in the world! Velvet says that she knew that she wasn't going to be a fluke, one-time champion, when she won the title earlier this year; and that it was only a matter of time before she got the belt back. Hicks then asks how Velvet feels knowing that Brie Bella appears deadset on winning the title back. Velvet starts to look around, nervously, before saying that if Brie Bella wants a crack at taking the title back, then Brie knows where to find her. The interview abruptly ends as Velvet walks away, clutching the title belt to her chest. Wicked Games Tournament – Round One Jeff Hardy vs. Ken AndersonThe former “Enigmatic Assholes” met in this week's first Wicked Games Tournament match. Hardy came into the match after teaming with Rami Sebei to defeat Brutus Magnus in a Handicap Match at Downfall. Anderson, on the other hand, came into this match after coming up short in his bid to stop CM Punk's ascent to the Heavyweight Title Match. In the past few weeks, Anderson has struggled with his technique inside the ring, and tonight seemed to be no different. Moments after the match started, Anderson took matter outside the ring, and connected with the Mic Check onto concrete floor! Anderson rolled Hardy into the ring, and went for the cover, but Hardy was able to kick out before three. Hardy spent most of the match trying to recover from the move, and found his opening when he escaped from another Mic Check attempt. Hardy hit the Twist of Fate before heading outside to grab a steel chair. With the chair in the ring, Hardy DDT'd Anderson onto it, before hitting the Swanton Bomb for the 1-2-3! [Wicked Games Tournament – Round One]: Jeff Hardy pinned Ken Anderson with the Swanton Bomb in 0:10:03. Rating: *** ½After the match, Hardy jumped onto the turnbuckles, posing, as the crowd cheered his victory. Hardy left the ring as the referee checked on Anderson, still laying on the canvas, holding his midsection. Commercial Break A PROMISE IS MADE Cody Rhodes makes his way to the ring, as Anarchy returns from commercials. A clip is shown of Rhodes's interaction with Kurt Angle and Martin Maldonado from last week. Rhodes watches the clip before saying that he's out here, not to challenge Maldonado - because he has already done that - but to make a promise to him. Rhodes says that, since Kurt Angle is protecting Maldonado, Rhodes isn't going to push the issue. He says that Angle knows they screwed Rhodes out of the Heavyweight Title at Downfall; and just like Randy Orton, Rhodes wants a chance to get into the ring and settle the score. He says that Maldonado can run and use Angle to guard him all he wants, but that if all things go well, they are headed on a collison course to meet, in the ring, at Wicked Games. Rhodes says he hopes Maldonado wins his match next week, because when they meet, he will not only end his chances of getting anywhere near the Heavyweight Title, but will do far more damage than Randy Orton did at Downfall. Rhodes leaves the ring as Daniels says that Rhodes looks like a man on a mission. Scott Michaels says that Maldonado and Angle just keep digging themselves into a bigger hole as the weeks go by. Commercial BreakColt Cabana/Yoshi Tatsu vs. Kurt Angle/Martin MaldonadoClearly fueled by the comments made by Cody Rhodes earlier in the night, Angle and Maldonado came out looking to send a message to the former Heavyweight Champion. Cabana and Tatsu got in some decent offense throughout the match, but it was spotty at best, as they were hugely overmatched in this contest. Angle stood back, intervening when he thought necessary, but he mostly allowed Maldonado to do the dirty work. And, he didn't disappoint, as he put away Yoshi with the Gringo Killa for the 1-2-3. Kurt Angle & Martin Maldonado defeated Colt Cabana & Yoshi Tatsu when Maldonado pinned Yoshi with the Gringo Killa in 0:12:43. Rating: ****After the match, Maldonado left the ring as he and Angle quickly headed up the ramp. Josh mentioned that they appeared to have just come out and did their job, but that their main focus was somewhere else. Scott said that he hoped Cody Rhodes was watching the match, along with whoever Maldonado's opponent would be, next week, in the Wicked Games Tournament. Commercial BreakA CHALLENGE ACCEPTED Alisha Hicks is seen, backstage with X-Division Champion Adam Cole, as Anarchy returns. Hicks says that Evan Bourne, who was injured during his match last week against Randy Orton, has issued a challenge to Cole, for an X-Division Title rematch, for two weeks from tonight. Smiling, Cole says that it's a shame that Bourne had to get injured the way he did last week, because he will lose out on two weeks of training that he apparently needs. Cole says that Bourne got to experience what it's like to be X-Division Champion long enough, and that any hopes of him ever winning the title again will vanish in two weeks. Cole accepts Bourne's challenge, and says that there is no holding back in these matches. Cole says that Bourne better make sure he's prepared to risk his injured arm, because he might find himself out of action for a lot longer. Cole walks away as J.D. says that Cole sounds determined to keep the title. S.M. says that he doesn't like the fact that Bourne will go into the match with an injury, something that Cole can seriously capitalize on. Wicked Games Tournament – Round One Eddie Edwards vs. David Otunga (w/Shane Hagadorn)Eight days after facing off against each other, as part of the Tag Team Title Match at Downfall, Eddie Edwards and David Otunga squared off for the right to advance in the Wicked Games Tournament. Edwards, hoping to play mind games with the “A-List Superstar”, came to the ring with the HWL Tag Team Title draped over his shoulder. This plan would backfire, late in the match, as Shane Hagadorn grabbed the title and started running up the ramp with it. Edwards turned his attention away from Otunga, which led to him getting hit with The Verdict. But, instead of going for the pinfall, Hagadorn instructed Otunga to “finish” Edwards. Otunga lifted Edwards into the air with a Gorilla Press – as Hagadorn held the Tag Team Title where Edwards could see it – before Otunga dropped him to the canvas. Otunga covered Edwards as the referee counted the 1-2-3. [Wicked Games Tournament – Round One] David Otunga pinned Eddie Edwards after a Gorilla Press in 0:08:10. Rating: * ¾After the match, Hagadorn tossed the Tag Team Title belt into the ring, and promised that the A-List Knockouts would be Tag Team Champions very, very soon. Commercial BreakChris Hero (w/Shane Hagadorn) vs. Cody RhodesLast week, Chris Hero lost his number one seed in the Wicked Games tournament. Tonight, he got the chance to show what he could do against the former Heavyweight Champion. And, with Shane Hagadorn at ringside – and as the crowd saw earlier in the night – anything could happen. This time around, though, Hagadorn kept himself at bay, wanting to see the “Knockout Kid” pull off a huge victory. The match was a struggle for both men, as neither one could gain serious control. Both men hit a barrage of power moves, getting a number of near falls. But, in the end, Rhodes ducked a loaded elbow by Hero, and connected with the Cross Rhodes for the win! Cody Rhodes pinned Chris Hero with the Cross Rhodes in 0:12:08. Rating: *** ¾After the match, as Cody made his way up the ramp, MARTIN MALDONADO appeared on-stage, stopping Rhodes progress. Without hesitation, Rhodes goes after Maldonado, and the two men begin brawling on the ramp! Maldonado throws Rhodes into the titantron, but Rhodes continues to fight back as HWL officials attempt to break things up. When the officials separate both men, KURT ANGLE appeared, and led Maldonado to the back, as Rhodes fumed on-stage. Josh said that things between these two are really heating up, and that next week will determine whether or not they meet one-on-one in Charlotte. Feedbackery! I like all 3 competitors in the Wicked Games main event getting some interview time. Styles was spot on in his criticism of Angle. Angle has made it harder on the both of them. I'm still not sold on the reasoning for attacking Orton though. I like Magnus. I have a soft spot for Rob Terry. Your version needs to start wearing club sweaters. Good win over Kaz though. Hardy winning is the right call. I've grown to hate Anderson. Not HWL Anderson, just him in general. This one isn't your fault. I really like what you've done with Cody. He's a strong face here. Good win for Angle/Maldanado, even if they were a bit distracted. Not smart, Bourne. Don't make challenges when you're hurt. Otunga is credible in HWL, which is fun to see. Hagadorn in his corner helps him move on. Not really a threat to win the tourney though, IMO. Question: what exactly did Hero do to earn the #1 seed in the tournament to begin with? Fun main event though. Held his own against Cody. I hope Angle/Maldanado know what they're doing pissing Rhodes off like this.

Good opening promo as usual from AJ. Interesting explanation about Orton.
Rob Terry beats Kaz as he should. Bourne should have known that Cole would be looking for an opportunity to inflict some punishment and he that's exactly what happened.
Of course Anderson losing gets a pop from me! Hardy needs to bounce back big after losing in a handicapped match that HE had the advantage in. Anderson, hopefully, is on his way down. Not stopping Punk, then Hardy kicks out of his finish, AND he loses his first round match in the Wicked Games tnm - Anderson is falling apart and I love it.
I really like that Maldonado got the fall in the tag team match. I feel like he needs it. He's getting a good amount of TV time but I still don't think he's elevated enough to take on the position he's being handed. A few wins like this could help that a lot. And Angle doesn't need to pick up the falls in tag matches - he's already legitimate..
I almost would have liked to see Otunga lose here so he and Hero could focus on regaining the Tag straps right away. It looks like that's still the goal, but who knows, Otunga might just have a stronger run than anyone expects.
Good brawl to close out the show. I would have loved to see Maldonado leave Rhodes laying but it was good either way. I wish Angle would have stayed in the back too. If Maldonado really wants to be a threat, he'll let Angle do his thing in the Heavyweight title scene and he'll take care of Rhodes on his own.

I've grown to hate Anderson. Not HWL Anderson, just him in general. Welcome to the club. We've been expecting you.

Thanks for the feedback, guys. I'm happy about where things are headed for the PPV. Oddly enough, it's in Charlotte too! Weird...

Love the opening segment. Styles cut a really good promo that answered some questions, and gives off the smarmy heel champion vibe. Rough night for Kaz and Bourne. I'm almost a fan of Rob Terry. I'll warn you, it's very hard for me to get invested in women's wrestling. Rey has done it, but I have a hard time with it. Taking a Mic Check on the floor should be enough to get the three. That's a big kickout by Hardy. Sounds like he could go far in this tournament. No surprise that Angle and Maldonado were going over here. Googling Maldonado only gives me a Milwaukee Brewers player. Help me out here. I like that you have a bit with Cole and Bourne early in the show, and then a challenge later on. Sometimes guys are restricted to one segment per show. Glad to see that isn't the case here. Good to see Otunga get a win. Rhodes needed this win going into his feud with Maldonado. Fun show, and makes me wonder why I haven't been a more focused reader. Probably will go back to read some of the older stuff as time permits. But you've got a reader from here on.

Maldanado is Homicide. I made the same Brewers joke. I made a similar comment as well. I'm sure wicked is tired of hearing us ask the same question hahaha Well, like I said, to be honest I had no idea that he was a real guy. I used the Random Name Generator online, and that's what it gave me. So, maybe it just generates old baseball players' names? Anyway... that'll be the last time that happens I think. The first one was Rami Sebei, who in PCW was under his original name: El Generico.

Monday Night Anarchy November 7, 2011 National Indoor Stadium - Beijing, China Attendance: 14,630 (77%) KURT ANGLE INTERVIEW Josh Daniels was standing in the center of the ring as Anarchy came on the air. Daniels said that tonight, he would be interviewing the second of the three participants in next Sunday's Triple Threat Match for the Heavyweight Title. He wasted no time in introducting former Heavyweight Champion, Kurt Angle to the crowd. Angle, followed by Martin Maldonado, made his way to the ring as the crowd voice their dislike for him. Daniels began the interview, allowing Angle to respond to the comments made by AJ Styles last week. Angle said that he'd had a week to think about what to say about Styles that hadn't already been said. Angle said that Styles had turned into an egotistical, power-hungry athlete ever since joining forces with Ric Flair. Angle said that, last week, Styles even admitted to doing whatever he couuld do to ensure that he never lost the Heavyweight Title. Angle said that he'd known AJ for a good while now, and that, on a personal level, he knew that wasn't the type of person AJ really was. Angle said that Styles emulates Flair, and that in the end, all it was going to do was cost him whatever remaining fans he had, who were just hoping for him to come to his senses. Angle continued, and said that AJ is already setting up a defense in the case that he loses the title at Wicked Games. Angle said that all the blame would be place on him, when AJ knew exactly what he was getting himself into when he agreed for things to happen last month. Angle said that the fact that this is a Triple Threat Match doesn't make the match any harder on himself, but that the match will be difficult - ten-fold - for Styles, because he now no longer has to be involved in the decision to lose the belt. And, if there's anyone that AJ could - or should - blame for that, it's CM Punk, for demanding to be added to the match. Or, if Styles was man enough to do it, he would blame himself. Because, if it wasn't for AJ's ego getting in the way, Punk would've never won the Handicap Match. Daniels then asked Angle about the situation involving Maldonado and Cody Rhodes, and the possibility of them meeting each other in Charlotte, in the second round of the Wicked Games tournament. Angle told Josh that "now wasn't the time to get into that", because he wasn't here to discuss Martin's situation. With no other questions, Josh allowed Angle to have a final thought. Angle said that AJ Styles was lucky to have the Heavyweight Title; but that the thanks should go to a serious of unfortunate circumstances for other people. Angle said that things may've been different had Cody Rhodes not gotten injured, and faced Styles in that Ladder Match at Unbreakable. Angle said that things are still going to be unpredictable next Sunday, because there was a third person in the match, so nothing will ever be head-to-head. But, he promised AJ that he would do whatever he could - whether they were friends or not - to take the Heavyweight Title away from him. Angle then left the ring, with Maldonado in-tow, as Scott Michaels said that the war of words was already setting up for the Triple Threat Match to be one of the biggest matches of the year. Commercial BreakA WARNING IS SENT As Anarchy returns, Alisha Hicks is seen with Brie Bella, backstage. Alisha asks Brie to comment on the statements made by Velvet Sky last week, and Brie says that she's not the only one that can see the fear in Velvet's eyes. She says that, for someone who was willing to do everything to the title back - even creating some "mean streak" to show she was serious - Velvet seems a little worried about Brie wanting her rematch. Brie tells Velvet that the things she's over the past few weeks may have gotten her the Women's Title, but it has also upset every other Vixen in the locker room. Pretty soon, Brie says, Velvet will feel the wrath of her own mean streak. Brie walks away as the camera heads to ringside. [Non-Title Match]: Velvet Sky pinned Natalya with the Beauty Mark in 0:10:15. Rating: ** 3/4The show started off with two Vixens, who have definitely had an interesting past with each other. This time around, Natalya was making her return to the ring after a lengthy hiatus, and Velvet Sky came in as a two-time Women's Champion. But after the bell rang, their rivalry picked right back up, as both women found themselves outside the ring, slapping each other, much to the crowd's enjoyment. Natayla gained the advantage by hitting a snap suplex onto the concrete floor, before rolling Velvet back into the ring. There, the methodical former Champion focused on Velvet's back. But, after inflicting her damage, Natalya was surprised when Velvet reversed a powerslam attempt into a crossbody, picking up a quick two-count. Velvet went on the offensive, trying to say moving so Natalya couldn't attack her legs, and landed some good shots to her bigger opponent. Natalya regained the advantage after catching Velvet with a boot, and hitting a second snap suplex near the ropes. Natalya pulled Velvet into the center of the ring, for the pin, only to get rolled up for another quick two-count. Velvet ducked a clothesline attempt, and connected with the Beauty Mark - of of nowhere - to pick up a huge moral victory. After the match, Velvet quickly rolled out of the ring and grabbed her Women's Title as Natalya slowly got to her feet. Velvet held her lower back, walking up the ramp, as Natalya stared a hole through the champion. Josh Daniels said that he didn't think Natalya was going to let this one go very easily. Commercial BreakA TIME FOR GOODBYE As Anarchy returns, Josh and Scott go over the video recap, showing the tournament matches that took place last week. They focus on the match between Jeff Hardy and Ken Anderson, before saying that late last week, Peter Bradshaw receieved a video from Anderson, and they were asked to show the video tonight... The video begins to play on the titatron, and it shows Ken Anderson sitting in what looks to be a hotel room. Anderson says that he had been thinking for a long time about making the video, as a way to say what he wanted to get off his chest. He said that "in this business, not a lot of people apologize for the things they've done - in or out of the ring." He then says that he is sorry for the injuries he had caused to both CM Punk and Jeff Hardy over the past few weeks, and that the guilt of those injuries has made Anderson rethink his career. He says that he has already spoken with Mr. Bradshaw, but he wanted to tell the fans that he was going to no longer work for the Horizon Wrestling League. Instead, he was admitting he needed to get better, and was going to work for Rex Butler and Premiere Championship Wrestling. Anderson thanked the fans for their support before the video cut out. Josh and Scott are both stunned by what Anderson said, and relate to the at-home audience that Ken Anderson is gone from the HWL. STYLES ORDERS A HIT Backstage, AJ Styles and Ric Flair are seen talking to Matt Morgan in the Conglomerate locker room. Flair says that Morgan knows how important winning this tournament is, since he won last year's inaugural event. Flair says that there are some people in the tournament that don't belong, and tonight, it was up to Morgan to take out one of those people. Styles added that, if Morgan was able to do this tonight, and not only take out his opponent - but stick it to Kurt Angle - there would be a reward for his efforts. Styles and Flair walk away, leaving Morgan to think, as Anarchy goes to commercials. Commercial Break[Wicked Games Tournament - Round One]: Martin Maldonado pinned Matt Morgan after the Swinging DDT in 0:10:17. Rating: ** 3/4Martin Maldonado came down to the ring, without Kurt Angle at his side, and grabbed a microphone before the match began. Maldonado said that Cody Rhodes had everything all wrong, because his thoughts are distorted. He said that he's not asking Kurt Angle to protect him; that he was hired to protect Kurt Angle. Maldonado also said that those days are over, because Angle has gotten to where he wanted to be, and now Maldonado was where he wanted to be: chased. He said that Rhodes is crazy if he thinks Maldonado is "hiding" from Rhodes. He said that he's not a puppet that will let others dictate his movements, and if Rhodes wants to fight him bad enough, he knows how to make it happen. Maldonado says that, all Rhodes has to do, is come out here later tonight, win his match, and they will be on a "collision course" for Wicked Games. Maldonado droped the microphone and awaited his opponent... Over the past couple weeks, the tension had been building between Maldonado, Kurt Angle and the members of The Conglomerate. It had come to a point, tonight, where Ric Flair and AJ Styles had given orders to take Maldonado out of the tournament - any way he could. So, that's what "The Blueprint" tried to do tonight. His task began early, as he clotheslined Maldonado outside the ring, and battered him with punches and kicks, even whipping him into the guardrail. Morgan kept control for a good porton of the match, until KURT ANGLE made his way down to ringside, evening things up. The distraction allowed Maldonado to regain his bearings. Flair jumped onto the ring apron, getting Maldonado's attention, but Angle ran over, tossing Flair off the apron. As Maldonado turned around, he sidestepped Morgan's second Carbon Footprint attempt, and the Swinging DDT to pick up the victory! After the match, Angle entered the ring, as he and Maldonado celebrated his victory. The celebration was cut short as AJ STYLES ran down to the ring, getting into Angle's face for putting his hands on "The Nature Boy". He and Angle went back-and-forth, verbally, until Maldonado stepped in between them, facing Styles. Styles took a step back, saying "screw this", before leaving the ring. Anarchy went to commercials with Maldonado and Angle standing in the ring. Commercial BreakBackstage, Alisha Hicks caught up with Evan Bourne, who was still fuming after he was attacked by Adam Cole last week. Bourne said that next week, his arm will be healed, and he has already been cleared to get back into the ring. And, the only thing he plans on doing is taking back the X-Division Title. And, after the title is finally back in his possession, Bourne says that he will make Cole pay for everything he has done over the past few weeks. Bourne storms off as both Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels say that in a match with few rules, there's no telling what Bourne and Cole are going to do to each other next week. [HWL Tag Team Title Match]: The A-List Knockouts (Chris Hero & David Otunga) defeated Steve Corino & Eddie Edwards when Hero defeated E. Edwards by countout in 0:15:21. Rating: ** 1/4 (Steve Corino & Eddie Edwards retained the HWL Tag Team Titles.)It was announced, at the beginning of the match, that the titles would be on the line this week, due to Steve Corino's participation in next week's set of Wicked Games Tournament matches. The Knockouts came out, looking prepared for this match, as they have been very vocal the last few weeks about winning back the belts. The champions, however, did not seem too enthused about having to put their titles up for grabs earlier then expected. It was evident early on, because both champions resorted to un-champion like tactics, using chokeholds to gain the advantage over their opponents. It wasn't enough to keep Hero and Otunga down, as they were able to fight back, and control the better part of the match. The end of the match saw Hero and Edwards brawling outside the ring. Hero connected with a DDT onto the concrete, and rolled back into the ring. Hero and Otunga focused on keeping Corino at bay, as the referee began his 10-count. At the count of six, Edwards slowly started getting to his feet, but as he started towards the ring, Shane Hagadorn jumped onto the apron, blocking any entrance Edward would have. The referee counted to ten, and called for the bell, as Hero and Otunga stood in the ring, looking at Hagadorn as he entered the ring. After the match, Hero, Otunga and Hagadorn are seen discussing something, as Josh Daniels mentions that Hagadorn's interference actually kept his charges from possibly winning the Tag Team Titlels. Scott Michaels said that Hero and Otunga don't seem to happy about that, and wonders what Hagadorn will do to try to make up for his mistake. Commercial BreakRami Sebei pinned Alex Shelley with the Brainbustah in 0:12:55. Rating: **** 1/4Neither of these two men have been seen inside the ring lately, but tonight, they proved that they hadn't loste a step during their time away, as this was easily the match of the night! Both men came out on fire, getting the crowd into the match minutes after the bell rang. High risk moves were on full display, but both Sebei and Shelley showed that they can withstand a fair amount of pain as well. Sebei locked in an abdominal stretch for over 20 seconds at the start of the match, but Shelley was able to lock in a surfboard for over 30 seconds! Things looked pretty grim for Sebei as Shelley set him up for the Sliced Bread #2. Shelley hit the move, but somehow Sebei was able to kick out after only a one-count. Stunned, Shelley took a step back, trying to regain himself, before going back on the attack. As he went for Sebei, Sebei kicked Shelley in the midsection and hit a quicker verison of the Brainbustah to pick up the victory! After the match, both men were laying on the canvas, spent and exhausted as the Chinese fans in attendance, applauded their efforts inside the ring. Josh Daniels said that what he just witnessed was impressive, and that the very strict followers of wrestling - the Chinese - thought so too. Scott Michaels said that everyone in the back should be applauding Sebei and Shelley after this match. A SERIOUS THREAT Backstage, Ric Flair exits the Conglomerate locker room, and is stopped by Alisha Hicks. Hicks asks Flair about what casued him to issue the post-match attack that Rob Terry handed out to Kaz last week. Flair repeated himself from earlier in the month, when he said that "for too long, the other members of The Conglomerate have been over looked." He admitted that it was his fault, that he was too focused on making sure AJ Styles kept the Heavyweight Title. Though, Flair said, that was still his main priority, last night he realized that if everyone in The Conglomerate started working together, there was no way anyone in the HWL would stop them from taking over. And, that's exactly what he planned on doing. "Woooo!" Flair walked away as Anarchy went to commercials. Commercial Break[Wicked Games Tournament - Round One]: Cody Rhodes pinned Rob Terry after a superplex in 0:15:08. Rating: ***The anticipation for this match had been building since the start of the show. A camera shot, from backstage, showed Martin Maldonado and Kurt Angle watching this match on a monitor. Rob Terry looked impressive last week, dominating Kaz, and he was set to be a huge roadblock in the path of Cody Rhodes tonight. That's exactly what he was. Terry controlled the better part of the match, but Rhodes persevered, and fought back, connecting with the Cross Rhodes, but only get a two-count for the effort. Rhodes also got in another near fall, after hitting a DDT in the center of the ring, but "Big Rob" easily pushed Rhodes off him after a one-count. It appeared that Rhodes started to get discouraged, and Terry took advantage of that, using a number of power moves to keep Rhodes grounded. Terry would've had the match won, had he not had a moment of bad judgment, where insisted on going to the top rope. Not known for his aerial tactics, Terry took his time getting to the top rope. There was nothing he could do as Rhodes stumbled into the ropes, causing Terry to fall onto the turnbuckle. Rhodes caught her bearings, and with whatever strength he had left, hoisted Terry into the air for a superplex! Rhodes rolled through with the move, as the referee counted the 1-2-3! After the match, Rhodes rolled off of Terry, as he was announced the winner of the match. Ric Flair and Chelsea looked on in shock, at what just happened. Scott Michaels said that the confrontation that everyone has been waiting for will finally take place at Wicked Games! Cody Rhodes will finally get his hands on Martin Maldonado! Josh Daniels said that their match will, no doubt, have a huge impact on what happens in Charlotte, 13 days from now. Josh also says that, next week, the final two First Round matches will take place as Rami Sebei takes on Steve Corino, and Alex Shelley squares off against Kaz. Card rating: *** 1/4HWL Wicked Games PPV - 11/20/11 - Charlotte, NCHeavyweight Title Match: CM Punk vs. Kurt Angle vs. (c) AJ Styles Wicked Games Tournament: David Otunga, Cody Rhodes, Martin Maldonado, Jeff Hardy, Randy Orton, Brutus Magnus, ??, ??

Angle's interview was not as informative as Styles', but it gets the point across well enough. Match at the PPV should be good. Velvet with a good win. Natalya is always a tough out. Yay! Anderson is gone! Big win for Maldonado, beating the man who won last year's tournament. Morgan has fallen down the ranks, somewhat. Unless Hagadorn is in the midst of a slow turn, that move just didn't make any sense. Hero & Otunga win, but he just blatantly cost them the titles. Good X-division match. Makes more sense now that I know Rami is El Generico. With as much as you hyped it, not a chance in hell Cody wasn't winning the main event. Not a bad thing. People want to see Rhodes/Maldonado and you're giving it to them. Obvious booking is sometimes the best booking, and that's the case here.

Angle's interview was pretty good to help setup the PPV. It was going to be hard to match the quality of AJ's.
Good win for Velvet. Looks like this one isn't over and I'm all for it. Two of my favorite female wrestlers.
Anderson leaving HWL is surprising. Can't wait to see him in PCW though.
Hard fought win for Maldonado.
Hagadorn's move made no sense really. He almost has to be turning at this point. Or maybe a double turn is in future?
So happy to know that Rhodes and Maldonado will finally meet up at the PPV. Good stuff.

Monday Night Anarchy November 14, 2011 Megasport Arena - Moscow, Russia Attendance: 8,540 (61%) CM PUNK INTERVIEW The show starts off with Josh Daniels standing in the middle of the ring. He says that over the past two weeks, the fans have heard from both Kurt Angle and Heavyweight Champion AJ Styles, getting their comments on the Triple Threat Match for the title this Sunday night at Wicked Games. Daniels says the fans will hear from the third participant in that match, tonight, before he introduces CM PUNK to the ring. Punk comes down to the ring, paying no mind to the mixed reaction he gets from the crowd. He enters the ring and stands on the turnbuckle, making an "X" with his arms. Punk gets off the turnbuckle and joins Josh. Josh says that Punk has had two weeks to listen to what his opponents had to say, and to formulate his thoguhts; and that, tonight, Punk has the chance to let the world know them. Punk says that, for the last two weeks, he's sat in the back and listened to Angle and Styles blame each other for the position they find themselves in. Punk says that they're both right: that the blame shouldn't just go to one of them, but both of them. Punk says that both Angle and Styles had the chance to take Punk out of the Triple Threat Match, three weeks ago, but their egos got in the way. Punk says that he's glad that the one thing he doesn't have to worry about is the size of his ego, or having people around him, telling him how good he is. Punk says that he's very aware of how good he is; and, because of that, his name will forever be in the record books for every company he's ever worked for. Punk says that he called himself "The Best in the World", because he was - and is - just that. Just because he doesn't have a title around his waist, at this time, doesn't mean that he can't step foot into the ring - day in and day out - and put on the match of the night against anyone in the back. Punk says that he's often asked if he regrets his decision to walk away from the HWL early in the year. Punk says no. He doesn't regret any decision he's made. But, he would have regretted standing by and letting Angle walk over his chance at becoming Heavyweight Champion. Punk says that he knows Angle is just pissed off about the way he lost the title - on two separate occasions - to Cody Rhodes. Punk says that Angle knows he lost both matches legitly, and it eats at him. Punk says the same thing has happened with Styles. Punk says that AJ couldn't have been happier to face Rami Sebei at "Unbreakable", because he didn't have to face Cody Rhodes. And, when he did have to face Rhodes, he hired Angle and his goon to take him out. Punk laughs and says that Angle and Styles have spent so much time worrying about Cody Rhodes, that they haven't thought that someone else was lurking in the shadows, just waiting for their chance to shock the world. Punk says that's a specialty of his, and that he plans on doing it again, this Sunday at "Wicked Games". Commercial Break[Wicked Games Tournament - Round One]: Rami Sebei and Steve Corino battled to a double countout in 0:09:23. Rating: ** 1/2The first of the final two first-round matches started things off tonight. Both men were coming off victories last week, but tonight the winner would move on, and earn a place in the next round in Sunday's tournament. This was a fast-paced match, with both men trading blows back and forth, neither one wanting to let the other take control. Things started to get out of control when both men found their way outside the ring, and brought the ringside area into play. Steve Corino's forehead was busted open as he was whipped into the ringpost. Blood began to pour from the cut as he and Sebei started an all-out brawl outside the ring. Sebei and Corino made no effort to get back into the ring as they continued to brawl up the ramp. The referee had no choice but to count both men out! Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels said that now, the winner of the Alex Shelley-Kaz match would automatically move on to the quarterfinals this Sunday night in Charlotte. They also said that they would have updates concerning the situation when they could get them. Commercial BreakAPOLOGIES OFFERED Backstage, CHRIS HERO and DAVID OTUNGA are seen sitting in their locker room. They look up as SHANE HAGADORN enters the room, before getting to their feet, startling Hagadorn. Hero wants to know what Hagadorn's doing. Hagadorn says that he knows he's not the first person either one of them wants to see, but that he wanted to come and apologize for what he did last week. Otunga reminds Hagadorn that he cost them the Tag Team Titles, and that's something that can't be easily looked past. Hagadorn apologizes again, and says that he's willing to do whatever he can to make it up to them. Hero tells Hagadorn that they will consider it. But, for now, it was in Shane's best interest to leave them alone. Hagadorn says he's sorry one last time, before leaving the locker room. Hero and Otunga look at each other and shake their head... Hamada pinned Daffney after an inside cradle in 0:06:50. Rating: ***Since coming into the HWL, Hamada has had her struggles inside the ring, going winless in her first two matches. Tonight, she looked to get off his losing streak, but she had to contend with the "Demonic Princess" Daffney. The former Women's Champion was definitely not going to be a pushover for the Japanese newcomer, and she was anything but tonight. Hamada got the offense in the early part of the match, hitting moves in quick succession, keeping Daffney from taking over. But, Hamada couldn't put Daffney away with her array of impressive moves. Daffney took control of the match after kicking Hamada in the stomch as he run off the ropes. Daffney landed a number of kicks and punches, trying to wear down Hamada, eventually hitting a DDT for a two-count. Daffney shot up, and started arguing with the referee, leaving Hamada on the canvas. Still fresher than her opponent, Hamada rolled Daffney up with an inside cradle for the 1-2-3! After the match, Hamda slid out of the ring, celebrating her victory as Daffney screamed and slammed her hands onto the canvas. Daffney rolled into a corner and started ripping at her hair, while looking at the referee and screaming "I hate you! I hate you!" Josh Daniels asked what had gotten into Daffney. Scott Michaels said that the outburst was the "weirdest thing I've ever seen." Commercial BreakORTON SPEAKS OUT "Anarchy" returns, showing a graphic for the "Wicked Games" pay-per-view. Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels run down the tournament matches, as well as the Triple Threat Match for the Heavyweight Title. Back inside the arena, the crowd cheers as RANDY ORTON makes his way down to the ring. Orton poses on the turnbuckles before grabbing the microphone. Orton says that throughout the entire time he's been in the HWL, he's been able to count on one hand the number of times he has challenged for the Heavyweight Title. Once. He says that, this Sunday night, there are six men all vying for the chance to do the same thing. But, Orton says that there are only three of them that have never tasted championship gold - of any kind - in the HWL. Those three, Orton says, are the ones that the winner of the Triple Threat Match has to look out for. Orton says that he has been silent for too long, and that, at "Wicked Games", he will do everything in his power to walk away as the new Number One Contender. Commercial BreakThe Conglomerate (Matt Morgan & Rob Terry) defeated Colt Cabana & Yoshi Tatsu when R. Terry defeated Y. Tatsu by countout in 0:04:05. Rating: ** 1/4 [Ric Flair interfered against Yoshi Tatsu.]After suffering very importnt losses last week, Ric Flair accompanied Morgan and Terry to the ring, as they once against stepped into the ring against Colt Cabana and Yoshi Tatsu. This time around, neither Morgan nor Terry was going to fall victim to two straight loses, as they took their aggression out on Tatsu from the start. It wasn't long until Terry hoisted Tatsu into the air and dropped him onto the concrete at ringside. And, while Terry distracted the referee, "The Nature Boy" stalked Tatsu as he slowly got to his feet. Just before he rolled into the ring, Flair rocked Tatsu with a low blow. Inside the ring, Cabana bolted for the referee, to get his attention, but Morgan cut him off with a vicious clothesline! Cabana rolled out of the ring, as Terry and Morgan allowed the referee to count Tatsu out. After the match, with Cabana still incapacitated, Flair went to work on Tatsu's legs, before locking in the Figure Four Leglock on the concrete! Terry and Morgan stood by, laughing, as the referee tried to force Flair to break the hold. With Tatsu screaming in pain, Terry and Morgan were able to persaude Flair to break the hold, and move away from the scene. The crowd rained boos on the trio as they made their way, triumphiantly, up the ramp. At ringside, officials tended to Tatsu as "Anarchy" went to commercials. Commercial BreakTEMPERS FLARE Heavyweight Champion AJ STYLES is seen walking through the backstage area, flanked by Matt Morgan and Rob Terry, when he is approached by KURT ANGLE. Angle looks at Morgan and Terry, shakes his head and says that it's a shame that the top guy in the company has to travel around with back-up. Annoyed, Styles demands to know what Angle wants. Angle says that he wants to know where Styles got the nerve to think that it was a good idea to try and "take out" Martin Maldonado last week. Angle looks at Morgan and says that it wasn't his fault he couldn't get the job done. Morgan charges for Angle, but is stopped by Styles, who says it's not Morgan's battle to fight. Styles then says that Angle is a smart man, just like himself. Styles says that Angle was Champion before; and that just like Angle did during his reign, Styles has to have his own best interest in mind. Angle says that, for once, he agrees with Styles. But, he says, that instead of worrying about Maldonado - if he wins the tournament - Styles should be focused on the man standing in front of him. Out of nowhere, Angle clocks Styles, knocking the Champion to the ground. Seconds later, Angle is fighting off both Morgan and Terry - but only for a moment - before they take over. MARTIN MALDONADO runs over and blindsides Morgan, knocking him to the ground. Maldonado and Terry start brawling in the hallway, until RIC FLAIR runs in and chop-blocks Maldnado's leg, sending him to the ground. Flair, Terry and Morgan - who has gotten back to his feet - begin attacking Maldonado, as Styles - also standing back up - shouts out orders. HWL officials show up, breaking up the assault, as The Conglomerate run away from the scene. The officials tend to Angle and Maldonado as the camera goes to ringside... [X-Division Title Match]: Adam Cole pinned Evan Bourne with the Panama Sunrise in 0:17:35. Rating: *** 1/4 (Adam Cole retained the X-Division Title.)Evan Bourne was looking to get his hands on Adam Cole tonight, and the chance to get redemption for the attacks that the X-Division Champion had delivered for the past few weeks. Bourne had been looking for this match for weeks - ever since injuring his arm against Cole - and was eager to get back into the ring as soon as he was cleared for action. The downside to his decision was that he left Cole a huge target, and in a match with no disqualifications, Cole set in on making Bourne's arm a point of attack. Every chance he could, Cole went after Bourne's arm, foring the challenger to scream out in pain, and taking Bourne off his game in the process. Bourne was able to fight back throughout the match, using his speed and feet to initiate the offense. But that was soon figured out as Cole started going after Bourne's knees, doing his best to keep Bourne from gaining any form of offense. With the match firmly in-hand, Cole placed Bourne on the turnbuckle before hitting the Panama Sunrise to pick up the victory. After the match, Bourne laid in the ring, writhing in pain, as Cole slid under the bottom rope and grabbed the X-Division Title. The referee tended to Bourne as Cole made his way up the ramp, holding the title belt in the air. Scott Michaels said that the match was a brutal reminder of what the X-Division means to the men on the HWL roster. Josh Daniels said that even though he should be commended for his guts tonight, that Evan Bourne probably did more damage than good by coming out so soon after being cleared by doctors. At ringside, Bourne is helped out of the ring by the trainers as "Anarchy" goes to commercials. Commercial Break[Wicked Games Tournament - Round One]: Kaz pinned Alex Shelley after a springboard cross body press in 0:11:36. Rating: *** 1/4The final First Round match of the "Wicked Games" Tournament saw Kaz and Alex Shelley square off. Ever since his partner left the HWL, Alex Shelley has been a frequent name in the mix when it comes to the Heavyweight Title. With a victory tonight, he would've become one step closer then getting back into the title hunt. But Kaz had other ideas, as both men came out fast and furious after the bell. For the better part of the match, the action went back and forth, with neither men sustaining an advantage over the other. The turning point in the match saw Kaz counter an Air Raid Crash with a sunset flip for a near-fall. Kaz stayed on Shelley, and hit a spinning DDT in the center of the ring. Kaz then ran into the ropes and hit a sprinboard cross body press, pinning Shelley for the 1-2-3! After the match, Kaz got to his feet and celebrated the victory, as the crowd cheered. Kaz waited in the corner, as Shelley get to his feet, visibly upset about losing. Kaz offered his hand, but Shelley walked past him and left the ring. Kaz looked on as Shelley walked up the ramp, before turning back to the crowd and continuing the celebration as "Anarchy" went off the air. Card rating: *** HWL WICKED GAMES PPV - 11/20/2011 - Charlotte, NCTRIPLE THREAT MATCH for Heavyweight Title: CM Punk vs. Kurt Angle vs. (c) AJ Styles WICKED GAMES TOURNAMENT: David Otunga, Cody Rhodes, Martin Maldonado, Jeff Hardy, Randy Orton, Kaz and Brutus Magnus

Decent promo from Punk. It's what I would expect out of him. He seems to slowly be molding into his current WWE persona which I have qualms about. I wonder if all the Russian fans knew what he was saying?
Remi and Corino throwdown! Blood and double countout sounds to me like these two could be in line for feud. Corino's tag team title might prevent that though. It's a shame they're both out because I could care less for Shelley or Kaz and now one of them gets an easy path to the Quarters.
Interesting bit with Hagadorn and the A-KOs. I don't doubt they're legit pissed but I think it will work in their favor, especially since Hagadorn said he would do anything.
Hamada wins and Daffney is crazy. Exactly the way it should be.
The Conglomerate seems to be back on track and Flair's figure four was just insult to injury. Poor Tatsu. It wasn't that long ago when I thought Tatsu was about to break out and do something. Same with Colt. They're both headed in the other direction it seems.
You don't see too many heel on heel fights like that but I like it. It makes sense. I don't think it will lead to anyone turning face, and maybe nothing more will come of it after Wicked Games but for now it's good.
The last two matches had guys I'm not too big on and they weren't too heavy in stories but from a pure wrestling perspective it was a good way to end the show.

Good Punk promo. I think he's the darkhorse to win the title.
Sebei and Corino getting eliminated is a huge win for either Shelley or Kaz. A free trip to the semi-finals is nothing to scoff at.
Glad that Hero/Otunga aren't just forgiving Hagadorn right away. Hagadorn working to earn their trust back will make it nice when he eventually turns on them.
Haha. Who hates a referee? They're adorable! Interesting twist with Daffney.
Orton promo was... odd. Not that he put himself over, but that he lumped himself with the two other men who have held gold. That seemed strange to me.
It's definitely in Flair's character to interfere so that's no problem. It did make Morgan/Terry look a little weak though that they needed that much help with Tatsu/Cabana.
Good old-fashioned donnybrook in the back. Ballsy move by Angle/Maldonado with the numbers what they were.
Bourne put up more of a fight than I thought he would. But you're right - he probably came back too early to have had a real shot to win. This one isn't over though.
So Kaz is in the driver's seat in the tournament. Didn't expect this to be the last match going into the PPV though. Figured there would be another segment.
PPV should be fun. Orton to win the tournament, I think, and going with Punk with the upset win in the title match.

Solid promo from Punk to start the show. This will give Shelley or Kaz a big advantage in the tournament. Sad to see Corino out of it so early though. Daffney's outburst was great. Had me chuckling. Kind of odd that Orton made it seem like he and the other two guys that haven't won titles are the favorites. Figured he'd be saying he alone was the favorite. Just saw Ryan said the same thing. Oops. The Conglomerate picks up a squash victory. No problem with it as they needed to get some of their heat back. That was a fun brawl with Styles' side seemingly getting the upper hand. Angle and Maldonado are going to need some backup eventually. Not much storyline wise to comment on, but the Cole-Bourne match was very good. Well written and sounded like a hell of a fight. And now Kaz gets a bye. Big win for him. Don't think he's taking the whole thing though. Is it odd that whenever I see Kaz I think of Kaz Hayashi instead of Kazarian?

OK, I decided against reading all the seven pages, but I'll try to catch up on current events by reading the new shows, starting with the November 7 edition of Anarchy.. from China? Damn.. Looks like Angle and Styles are feuding, which is always great as they put on tremendous matches. No surprise that I'm pleased that you have a women's division - or a Vixen's division. Who is Maldonado? I googled him, but only found a baseball player. Is he a fantasy wrestler? Oh, I like the tag team with Hero and Otunga, playing on both members' respective nicknames. Corino and Edwards sounds like a weird pairing to me, but that's probably because I've seen too much ROH. Besides, weird pairings often make the best. Some special reason why you chose to have El Generico wrestle under his real name? Good main event too! Coming in in the middle of storylines was a little confusing, but I'm sure I'll get into it.

Rey... I don't blame you for not wanting to ready all 7 pages! And, yeah, I like to go to at least two foreign locals every couple months, just to spice things up a little bit. It's fun. Maldonado is actually Homicide. I had him in PCW, and thought I'd change his name when he came over. I just used a Random Name Generator to do it, but it's caused more problems than anything! And, that's the same with El Generico - except I just used his real name. I don't think I'll be doing that anymore in the future. Enjoy the reads. I should be starting my Wicked Games PPV tonight.

Oh, man. Please tell me you didn't read the earlier discussion about Maldonado before you asked that? I'm laughing my ass off.

TJ, you really need to bring in the Brewers' player Martin Maldonado and have him feud with Homicide.
