Dark Matches before RAGE
Opening Bout William Butler Yeats defeated Porno Tony Gold by submission to the cobra clutch at 6:01 **Premiere of Yeats in RCW (6'0 246 lbs.) and despite having the name of the famous Irish poet Yeats has a combination of a Cowboy with a teacher gimmick. Strange. Anyway, he has a solid ground game and the fundamentals, and overwhelmed his opponent.
Bout #2 Nick Mercury defeated Moses Luke by pinfall after a swinging neckbreaker at 7:55 **Mercury gets a much needed victory.
Bout #3 Sam Holiday defeated Eric Scott by pinfall after a top rope legdrop at 8:30 **solid match but Holiday is just a better wrestler.
Bout #4 Kurrgan defeated Vincent Regliatti by pinfall after a tombstone piledriver at 7:47 **3rd straight win for the babyfaces in a string of pecking order matches.
Bout #5 Manny Silva (/w Lord Zoltan) defeated Al Hardamann by pinfall after a wheelbarrow suplex (and outside interference) at 9:28 **best match of the night so far, with lots of time spent brawling outside the ring. Finally inside, it took a timely trip by Zoltan to give his man the opportunity to nail his finisher and pick up the tainted win.
Bout #6 Eight-Man Elimination Match Red Thunder, Wavell Starr, Eddie Mustang & Balls Mahoney defeated Donnie DiCaprio, Will Damon, Shane Madison & Tony Twist at 12:44 [Eddie Mustang eliminated by Tony Twist by pinfall after a sucker punch at 2:18] [Will Damon eliminated by Wavell Starr by pinfall after a flying tomahawk at 5:01] [Donnie DiCaprio eliminated by Wavell Starr by pinfall after a flying tomahawk at 5:33] [Red Thunder eliminated by Shane Madison by countout at 8:09] [Tony Twist eliminated by Balls Mahoney by pinfall after a sitout powerbomb at 10:21] [Shane Madison eliminated by Balls Mahoney by pinfall after a sitout powerbomb at 12:44] [Wavell Starr & Balls Mahoney Survived]
RCW RAGE - One Hour Episode
The show starts with highlights of the dark matches from earlier tonight. Tonight's package though is much shorter than normal because we have a jam packed show ahead.
Bout #7 North American Women's Title Match Fatal Four Way Elimination Special Guest Referee: Greg Gagne TrummerFrauen defeated Becky Swallows, Jessica Judd and Stacey Lynn at 13:08 [TrummerFrauen retained the North American Women's Title] **Greg Gagne was over his head. He tried to install law and order by cornering one competitor who was cheating but then the other three would break rules, and when they went for a pin there was no ref. At one point the champ took a powder while the other three girls all verbally lashed out at Gagne to do his job. The first fall happened when Lynn telegraphed a back body drop, Becky leapt over her continuing on, only to walk into a running clothesline by the champ. TF scooped her up, chokeslam...Lynn and Judd just looked on while she applied the pin. [TrummerFrauen pinned Becky Swallows after a chokeslam at 6:20] **as soon as the 3 count was applied Lynn and Judd jumped the champ and tried to keep her down as long as they could with stomps and forearms. Eventually with Judd on her back TF got to her feet, only to have Lynn dropkick the side of her legs and send her back down. It was pretty much 2 on 1 and the champ looked beatable. Lynn came off the top rope for a bodyblock, TF staggered, but kept her feet and powerslammed Lynn. She covered. Judd looked uncertain whether to break it up or not, decided not to, and Lynn was eliminated. [TrummerFrauen pinned Stacey Lynn by pinfall after a powerslam at 9:38] **TF was tired and Judd had energy, nailing a stick and move attack. But TF made a comeback. There was then a ref bump as TF lifted Judd in the air and her feet kicked Gagne. TF let Judd slip and she paid for it with a mule kick. Judd then left the ring and retrieved her guitar. As she prepared to clock the champ, referee Jennifer Greaves slipped into the ring and snatched the guitar from Judd. Gagne was up and yelling at Greaves to get out of the ring, which she did, taking the guitar with her. TF caught Judd with a clothesline, slingshot into the corner, chokeslam...pin. [TrummerFrauen pinned Jessica Judd after a chokeslam at 13:08]
Award Ceremony - Tag Team of the Decade (1990's) - Destruction Crew: Wayne Bloom & Mike Enos While both men were capable singles wrestlers, they found their greatest wrestling success together as a tag team. They won their second tag title in RCW on May 25, 1991 defeating Ben Bassarab and Kid Gallahad; their first title run was in 1989. They held the titles until dropping them at the anniversary show on December 7th of that year to Bob Orton Jr & Mike Lozansky. They would win their second titles on June 4, 1994 over Tommy Jammer and the Trooper, losing them on September 10th 1994 to Robbie Royce and Dan Kroffat. Their 4th title run happened in 1995 when they defeated Chi Chi Cruz and Eric Freedom in a tournament final for the vacant belts, and they held them for an impressive 5 months before dropping them to the Fabulous Ones. The Destruction Crew were two time winners of Tag Team of the year in 1991, and 1995. Joe Aiello jokes with them that they always liked to win the belts in summer and lose them in the winter, so they must like to go south for the winters. In truth both men have settled down in the mid-west and have both recently retired. They are on hand to accept the awards, and despite having been primarily heels they show appreciation for the fans and for RCW and feel the love of nostalgia from the crowd.
Bout #8 RCW Tag Team Title Match The Spinebusters: Jerry Orth & Bryan Caruthers defeated Young Guns: Greg Pawluk & Johnny Devine by pinfall when Orth pinned Devine after a top rope knee drop at 9:32 [The Spinebusters retained the RCW Tag Team Titles] **good match but a clash of styles, with the methodical and vicious champions against the faster paced Stampede style of the newly named Young Guns. The Busters decided to go old school and used the tag rope as a weapon to choke their opponents during referee distractions. They would then turn to the Destruction Crew who had stayed at the announce table to be interviewed during this bout, as if their cheating was a tribute to the DC. This happened several times with cheating and at first they would just nod back but then it became obvious the DC were just getting annoyed. The Guns had their moments and had a nice comeback towards the end which was snuffed out when Devine came off the ropes, but Orth had travelled the apron to lower the top rope sending him to the floor. Orth then beat up Devine right at the announce table in front of the DC. He even held back the arms of Devine and offered free shots to the DC who did not take him up on the offer. Back inside we had a four man brawl but the champs used a chop to the throat to subdue Devine again. Caruthers locked on a sleeperhold that he kept working to a chokehold. After breaking he went for the spinebuster, but Devine countered with a knee to the head. He tried to make the tag, and did make the tag, but Orth had distracted the ref. So while Kenny Jay was putting Pawluk out of the ring, Orth clipped the leg of Devine from behind, Caruthers tagged in his partner, but during the five count nailed Devine with a spinebuster, while Orth climbed to the top and came off with the finisher, covered, and got the win.
Post-Match: The Spinebusters decided to continue the beat down of their opponents, and began to taunt the Destruction Crew. The fans went nuts when finally the DC hit the ring and went toe to toe with the Busters. Quite frankly the DC are a bit bigger and better brawlers than the Busters (especially Orth who didn't fare too well). The former champs cleared the ring of the current champs to the cheers of the crowd. Promo: Next week will be the latest "All-Women's" edition of River City Wrestling. Because of the rising tensions in that division there will be two cage matches to complete the show; TrummerFrauen will defend her title against Jessica Judd in one, and Stacey Lynn will take on her nemesis Becky Swallows in the other. Other matches signed for the show in Winnipeg will be Sheona Stewart vs Miss B. Haven; Tami Kim vs Tammy Rief; Dawn Marie vs Francine vs Bobcat vs Jasmin St. Claire in a four way you will never forget; Amy Lee Vs Riptide; and two powerhouses face off Nicole Bass vs Rio Storm!!
Televised Main Event RCW Heavyweight Title Match Vampiro defeated Stan Baker by pinfall after the nail in the coffin at 8:03 [Vampiro retained the RCW Heavyweight Title] **champion (heavyweight) versus champion (television) but only the heavyweight title was on the line. Heel versus heel. This was a donnybrook, knock out, drag out, pier six brawl. Referee Buddy Lane let them go at it, and just tried to keep them from sticking the peanut butter sandwich in the VCR. Baker actually probably controlled more of the bout than Vampiro and was a better, stronger, brawler, yet Vampiro made no attempt to change the style of the bout. Vamp was stubborn to a fault. Finally, Vamp reversed a whip to the buckle sending Baker chest first, nailed a dropkick to the back of Baker, then left the ring and from the apron nailed a springboard clothesline. He went to scoop Baker up presumably for the finisher, only to have Baker elbow him in the face. Vamp though snuck in a knee to the groin hidden from Lane's view, and then completed the finisher for an impressive victory.
FADE TO BLACK
Dark Main Event Non-Title Match The Destruction Crew: Wayne Bloom & Mike Enos defeated The Spinebusters: Jerry Orth & Bryan Caruthers by countout at 5:07 **a bit of an extra, unadvertised treat for the fans, and to send them home on a happy note. Untelevised, and unmentioned on the broadcast, after their earlier altercation the DC had challenged the champs to put it up in the ring in a match. This was just a five minute brawl, more of the same from earlier in the night. The Busters didn't seem serious about slowing the bout down and working their normal methodical match. They did isolate Enos for a couple minutes but once he made the hot tag in to Bloom it was over. Much like earlier in the night the champs just took a powder, grabbing their titles and getting counted out.

Special "All-Women's" Edition
Dark Matches before RAGE
Opening Bout Sheona Stewart defeated Miss B. Haven after a tornado DDT at 7:15 **a rare win for Stewart but one against an outsider. Haven sent Stewart to the buckle and lacked a bit of intensity. Stewart made her pay by exploding off the second buckle and nailed the finisher.
Commissioner Greg Gagne comes to the ring. He tells Jennifer Greaves to stay in the ring after her match. He berates her for interfering in the bout he was reffing last week, that he had it covered. Greaves scoffs and asks how he had it covered face down after being knocked over by the girls. By now the ringside area had slowly filled up with most of the woman on the bill tonight, including all the RCW roster girls. Greaves points them out and says no one wants you to ref them anymore. Gagne is upset but says thats fine, that Greaves may just be overworked. So he has hired another ref to join the roster. Greg Gagne introduces Shiela Bloom who comes to the ring. Now Bloom is good looking for sure, but not overtly sexy or trashy. Greaves questions her credentials and Bloom stands up for herself saying she has been reffing for a few years now, longer than Greaves, in indy feds throughout the American heartland. Gagne says she starts tonight, alternating bouts with Greaves, which means she's up next.
Bout #2 Tami Kim and Tammy Rief battled to a double countout at 5:36 **former partners and friends return to RCW to renew their feud. It looks like it may continue.
Bout #3 Amy Lee defeated Riptide by pinfall after a big splash at 8:34 **two newcomers to RCW, Riptide is 5'5 150, Amy Lee is 5'6 and considerably heavier than 150 (considerably).
Bout #4 Nicole Bass defeated Rio Storm by pinfall afer a powerbomb at 5:52 **two newcomers to RCW, and two absolute powerhouses. The fans are familiar with Bass (6'2" 240 lbs) from her WWF run so she became the de facto face against Rio Storm (aka Cindy Taylor) who comes in at 5'9 200 lbs. This was a bunch of power and brawling spots as you would expect. Storm nailed an impressive version of the Razor's edge, as well as a Samoan drop but could not put Bass away. Bass impressed with a gorilla press slam of the 200 pound foe, as well as doing four straight running clotheslines - one from each side of the ring. Bass then hit a powerbomb and picked up the win.
Post-Match: Nicole Bass cuts a short promo saying she's been chasing TrummerFrauen all over North America, and when she catches her she will end her, and take away her belt. She is as awkward on the mic as she is in the ring.
Bout #5 Fatal Four Way Elimination Match Jasmin St. Claire defeated Dawn Marie, Francine, and Bobcat at 13:07 **There was a big contrast in glamour between the last match and this one, although work rate was still not overly high. All four women lasted a long time in this bout before there was an elimination. Bobcat foolishly put St. Claire in a cameltoe clutch (inverted Boston crab) only to be given a bytch slap by Dawn Marie, a Bronco Buster by Francine, and then St. Claire nailed her with a top rope clothesline. Dawn Marie and Francine were now tangled together in a catfight as St. Claire made the pin. [Bobcat eliminated by Jasmin St. Claire after a top rope clothesline at 6:01] **the match now began to spill outside the ring more than inside. The three channeled ECW and set up a table in the corner. Francine whipped Dawn Marie to the corner but she used the ropes to stop and vault overtop a charging St. Claire who broke through the table. Dawn Marie pinned St. Claire, 1, 2, kickout. Francine nailed Dawn Marie with a DDT and pinned her. [Dawn Marie eliminated by Francine after a DDT at 9:33] **St. Claire and Francine then got into a hair pulling, biting, eye gouging catfight that went from inside the ring, to out, to back in, to on the apron. Francine had set up some steel chairs and tried to throw St. Claire into them but she held onto the ropes. St. Claire then tackled Francine driving them both into the chairs. Back inside Francine climbed to the top rope while holding onto the hair of St. Claire and attempted a bulldog only to be pushed off by St. Claire. She went for a clothesline but Francine countered with a drop toe hold sending St. Claire headfirst into the buckle. Francine then nailed a bronco buster, covered, 1, 2, kickout, Francine came off the top with a diving hurrincanrana only to have St. Claire turn it into a powerbomb, cover, 1, 2, 3! [Francine eliminated by Jasmin St. Claire after a powerbomb at 13:07]
RCW RAGE - One Hour Episode
We start off with highlights from the dark matches earlier in the night.
We have two cage matches on tonight's show.
Before we get to those matches however, Lord Zoltan is in the ring being interviewed by Linley Tolbert. Zoltan says he has scouted these next four women (TrummerFrauen, Jessica Judd, Stacey Lynn, and Becky Swallows) and has a managerial contract ready for any of them who want to join his stable with Manny Silva, and the Heavyweight champion Vampiro. Tolbert points out to Zoltan that he didn't actually manage Vampiro last week, and asks him what is up with that? Does he have the champion signed or not? Zoltan tells Tolbert to mind his own business and to rest assured that Vampiro is signed, sealed, and delivered. Zoltan repeats his call out to the women, but none of them answer. He is embarrassed and thankfully slinks from the ring.
Bout #6 Cage Match Stacey Lynn defeated Becky Swallows by pinfall after a springboard bulldog at 12:17 **decent enough match. The competitors extended it by some early rest holds and grappling moves. They finally moved on to brawling around six minutes in and Lynn held a big advantage. Becky though battled back and she was actually busted open and bleeding from the head. A criss cross sequence occurred, and referee Shiela Bloom got caught in the crossfire, taking a running forearm to the brain. Lynn began to devastate Becky by standing on her throat, and then choking her using the bottom strand while in a catapult position. Our other referee tonight Jennifer Greaves had the cage opened and she went in and revived Bloom who seemed okay and thankful to Greaves for the save. By now Lynn was in charge, and Becky could barely stand. As Becky staggered around the ring looking like Bambi's first steps, Lynn went to the apron and came off the top rope with her finisher.
Impromptu Bikini Contest Post-Match: Stacey Lynn grabs a mic, peels off her shorts and top, and reveals her bikini underneath. She challenges any of the other ladies to come down in their best and skimpiest and compete. Lynn looks great as she is a recent fitness and physique model. However, this impromptu bikini contest gets ramped up when Tami Kim, Tammy Rief, Jasmin St. Claire, Dawn Marie, Francine, and Bobcat all join her in the bikini's they just happened to have with them at the arena. It's too bad for the fans that the cage walls obstruct the view. But that is solved when the girls go for a victory lap around the outside of the cage. The fans however boo when Nicole Bass and Rio Storm (who had faced off against each other earlier in the night) come down together to the ring. Inside the ring they too both strip down to bikini's to show off their buff, muscular physiques. The fans though boo them for their efforts and then Bass and Storm get mad and chase the other high heeled bikini competitors to the back.
Main Event Cage Match North American Women's Title TrummerFrauen defeated Jessica Judd by pinfall after a top rope belly to back suplex at 17:11 [TrummerFrauen retained the North American Women's Title] **Judd kicks TF in the gut and lays in some chops. TF fires right back with a kick to the gut, a clothesline, a bunch of kicks to her downed opponent, and then rams her head off the cage wall several times. This has the look of a massacre. Judd tries to escape but now she's just between the ropes and the cage wall making her more of an easy prey for the champ. TF takes the beatdown to the middle of the ring with knee drops and then a piledriver, pin only gets a 2 count. Tolbert questions at the announce table why Judd would kick out. The champ pulls the opponent backward into the corner and as TF sits on the top rope she chokes Judd until the 5 count, breaks, then uses her knees to squish the head of Judd, then drives her to the mat with a bulldog, cover 1,2, foot on the ropes. Judd gets in some weak shots that have no effect on the champ who continues the onslaught. Finally from her knees Judd takes the champ down with a double leg, and then mounts her like a schoolyard fight and starts to pepper her with punches. Judd then throws TF head first into the cage wall, and then rakes her head across the cage. The champ is now busted open and Judd is pouring it on. Flying clothesline, snap legdrop, more punches, a running knee to the head, cover for a 1 count. A series of kicks, standing dropkick, elbowdrop from the second buckle, cover, 1 count. Judd goes to the top only to have TF catch her there, and take her face first down to the mat. TF goes to the top rope and comes off with a splash, but Judd rolls out of the way. The two on their feet brawl. The champ hooks the challenger in the tree of woe. She lays in some stomps and knees, but Greaves manages to get the challenger free just as the champ comes rushing in, wrecking herself in the corner. Judd smashes the champ's head off the cage wall and then into the steel ring post. The champ is now bleeding at a real impressive rate and looking wobbly. Judd nails a German suplex, 1 count, piledriver, 2 count. Back on their feet the champ reverses a whip to the ropes and then nails Judd with a big boot. She goes to the top buckle and comes off with a legdrop, pin 1, 2, kickout. TF then goes to the top again, but this time keeps going, half way up the cage wall and then flies down for a splash...no one home. Judd now goes to the top rope, and keeps going half way up...but the champ gets to the corner and meets Judd there. The champ gets to the top buckle and pulls Judd off the cage wall with a version of a belly to back suplex..the ring shakes...pin, 1, 2, 3!! That was a really good match for an underperforming women's division not known for the quality of their bouts.
TrummerFrauen stands bloodied but not beaten with the title belt as we

Dark Matches before RAGE
Opening Bout Ruffy Silverstein defeated Porno Tony Gold by pinfall after an ace crusher at 8:42 **premiere for Silverstein, a Stampede school graduate. Small in stature at 5'10 200 pounds (and that's a stretch), but a decent enough skill set to get past curtain jerker Gold.
Bout #2 Stacey Lynn defeated Sheona Stewart by pinfall after a springboard clothesline at 6:09 **fairly easy bout for Lynn
Bout #3 Great Canadians: Vincent Regliatti & Eric Scott defeated Chris Parys & Johnny Malibu by submission when Regliatti submitted Malibu to the figure four leglock at 7:50 **another premiere tonight, this time Parys & Malibu, two youngsters who came out of the Winnipeg area indys. They were all right but this step up to the newly named Great Canadians was too much for them to handle.
Bout #4 Nicole Bass defeated Becky Swallows by pinfall after a powerbomb at 3:35 **match lasted a bit longer than expected just because Swallows played run and hide for some of it. Looks like Bass is going to stick around in RCW for awhile.
Bout #5 #1 Contenders Tag Match Native Sons: Red Thunder & Wavell Starr (/w Eddie Mustang) defeated Players Club: Donnie DiCaprio & Shane Madison (/w Will Damon) by pinfall when Starr pinned DiCaprio after a flying axhandle at 10:04 **best match of the night so far, very competitive, tainted at times by the 3rd men getting involved. Unlike the Sons where Thunder/Starr seem to be the regular tag team and Mustang the singles competitor, the Players Club seems to use the Freebirds approach to getting any 2 out of 3 of them in a tag match. However, "The Mecca" Shane Madison seems to have separated himself from the pack as the premiere player of that club.
RCW RAGE - One Hour Episode
The show begins with a short highlight package of the dark matches.
Then we are treated to footage from last week's All-Women's edition, after we went off the air. The women's champion TrummerFrauen had retrieved her belt after leaving the steel cage, and she was bleeding heavily from the head. Then out came Nicole Bass who attacked the champ. She slammed the champ off the announce table and smacked her with the title belt. She choked her, and then chokeslammed her on the mat before security could intervene.
In-ring interview: Lord Zoltan is joined by Manny Silva and Nicole Bass in the ring. Zoltan says since none of the RCW girls wanted his managerial services he found his own stud for the stable, Nicole Bass. Bass gets on the mic and basically repeats that she has been chasing the champ across North American and finally caught up with her. Joe Aiello informs them that TrummerFrauen has insisted on a match with Bass next week. Then Aiello asks Zoltan where Vampiro is, since he supposedly signed the Heavyweight champion to a contract, despite any evidence to that claim. Zoltan says Vampiro will be defending his title next week against the #1 contender and that Zoltan will be in his corner. Aiello tells Zoltan that the #1 contender spot will be filled tonight by a four way match featuring Kurrgan, Sam Holiday, Al Hardamann, and the man standing next to him Manny Silva. The mad Hawaiian seems ecstatic at the chance, but Zoltan seems a bit sheepish. Aiello asks Zoltan what he will do if Silva wins and its Silva against Vampiro for the title next week? Zoltan avoids the question by telling Aiello we are out of time.
Bout #6 RCW Television Title Match Stan Baker defeated Eddie Mustang by pinfall after a running powerslam (and some outside interference) at 9:07 [Stan Baker retained the RCW Television Title] **Mustang surprisingly was not only competitive in this bout but really looked like he may take the surprise win. That went to pot though when Shane Madison came down to ringside to do uninvited guest commentary and ended up interfering by tripping up Mustang to give Baker the win.
In-ring interview: The Young Guns: Greg Pawluk & Johnny Devine have a title shot tonight, and because of all the cheating being done by the champs to hold onto the titles, they have been given the right to pick their own referee for tonight. In a surprising move they pick Jennifer Greaves. With no disrespect to head referee Buddy Lane, the Young Guns say they appreciate the chance they have been given here in RCW, and they feel that the young, up and comers, need to stick together.
Bout #7 #1 Heavyweight Contenders Match - Fatal Four Way Manny Silva and Kurrgan defeated Al Hardamann and Sam Holiday by countout at 8:12 **a bit of a surprise, and yes we had two winners. This was not an elimination style it was one fall. At first Silva took a huge beating from all 3 other men who detested him. However, they soon realized that since it was one fall that none of them were going to let the others get the pin. The match spilled outside the ring with a four man brawl. Referee Buddy Lane applied the count and at the last second both Silva and Kurrgan were able to slide back inside the ring while Holiday and Hardamann were stumbling around. Lane called it a double win countout. So presumably next week we will have a 3-way for the heavyweight title with Vampiro, Kurrgan, and Silva.
Award Ceremony - Feud of the Decades (1980's) - The Destroyer vs Chris Lyon Both men were on hand to accept their award. This was the original RCW feud from when we opened the doors in 1980 at Chalmers Community Club in Winnipeg. This feud really dominated the first 3 years of RCW. They faced off in the match of the year in 1982, the Destroyer won the wrestler of the year for the first 3 years and Lyon the next 2. They traded the Heavyweight title throughout those early years.
Main Event RCW Tag Team Title Match The Spinebusters and Greg Pawluk & Johnny Devine battled to a no-contest at 13:33 [The Spinebusters retained the RCW Tag Team Titles] **this match had to be heavily edited for time, with less than half of it being shown on TV. Pawluk and Devine looked really good and a title change seemed to be a distinct possibility. But the action spilled outside and as much as appointed referee Jennifer Greaves tried to establish order, eventually she threw the match out. The fans, and the challengers were not happy with that decision as at the time it was thrown out the challengers were bashing the champs' heads off the guardrails.

Dark Matches before RAGE
Opening Bout Ruffy Silverstein defeated Stan Saxon by pinfall after an ace crusher at 6:04 **two straight wins for Silverstein.
Bout #2 Sam Holiday defeated William Butler Yeats by pinfall after a top rope legdrop at 8:30 **Yeats had his moments but was over matched.
Bout #3 Al Hardamann & Eddie Mustang defeated Shane Madison & Stan Baker when Mustang pinned Baker after flying headscissors at 10:44 **good match, two throw together teams to avenge Mustang losing last week to Baker thanks to the interference by Madison.
Bout #4 Last Woman Standing Match Jessica Judd defeated Stacey Lynn by 10 count in a last woman standing match at 9:54 **brawl. catfight. brawl. Lynn had to survive having Judd break her guitar over her head but she fought through it and looked on the verge of victory. However, Becky Swallows came out and tossed Judd a new guitar. This however was a solid electric guitar that when Judd nailed Lynn over the head did not break, but knocked Lynn completely out.
Bout #5 Four Corners Tag Match Vincent Regliatti & Eric Scott and Chris Parys & Johnny Malibu and Donnie DiCaprio & Will Damon and Dick Raines & Richard Pound fought to a no-contest at 15:11 **only two legal men at a time, not elimination style. All the teams were showcased including newcomers Dick Raines & Richard Pound (who are the kind of guys that when they were 20 years old looked like they were 40). Raines is 5'11 230, while Pound is 6'0 240. They are both Stampede/Western Canadian trained guys. In the end it totally broke down with a brawl that went long after the final bell.
RCW RAGE - One Hour Television Episode
The show opens of course with highlights of the dark matches from earlier tonight.
Bout #6 North American Women's Title Match TrummerFrauen defeated Nicole Bass (/w Lord Zoltan) by disqualification for outside interference at 6:54 [TrummerFrauen retained the North American Women's Title] **slug fest, Bass used some wear down moves as well including a shoulder nerve hold. In the end Zoltan grew impatient and nailed the champ in the back with a chair. Bass was distracting the referee Shiela Bloom, but Bloom turned around just in time to see it and call for the DQ. Zoltan wasn't too happy with Bass not doing her job. The champ cleared the ring of both Zoltan and Bass, but when Manny Silva showed up she decided she had enough and left for the back.
Bout #7 RCW Tag Team Title Match Spinebusters: Jerry Orth & Bryan Caruthers defeated Young Guns: Greg Pawluk & Johnny Devine by pinfall when Orth pinned Pawluk after a double team DDT at 9:58 [Spinebusters retained the RCW Tag Team Titles] **the Young guns had another good showing but the champs prevailed thanks to some nice double teaming.
Award Ceremony - Feud of the Decade (1990's): Jim Brunzell vs Nick Bockwinkel This feud went from in-ring to managerial to management. While the two would later become friends and each take turns being the RCW Commissioner, for a few years they revived their old AWA feud and fought it at several different levels of the organization. Jim Brunzell is on hand to accept the award and gets a nice ovation from the crowd.
Main Event RCW Heavyweight Title Match - Triple Threat Match Vampiro defeated Manny Silva and Kurrgan by pinfall when Vampiro pinned Silva after the nail in the coffin at 10:16 [Vampiro retained the RCW Heavyweight Title] **So Lord Zoltan came out with Manny Silva, and then ran back up the ramp to join Vampiro on his way to the ring. The champ pretty much ignored him but he didn't seem to mind. When the bout started Vamp and Silva did join forces to go after Kurrgan, but soon enough Silva turned on Vamo to try and win the belt. This allowed Kurrgan to make a comeback and he laid waste to both of them, one at a time. However, he couldn't get the pin as one or the other would break up the pin; and when they couldn't than Zoltan made the save one time pulling Kurrgan off by the feet, and the other time distracting referee Buddy Lane. In the end Vamp and Silva knocked Kurrgan over the top rope with a double clothesline. Vamp then surprised Silva right away with a punch to the kidney, and then his finisher. In the meantime outside the ring Kurrgan was trying to get back in the ring but Zoltan hung onto his feet enough to slow him down.
Post-Match: Zoltan entered the ring but was unsure how to react. He decided to not pick sides and try and play peacemaker between Vamp and Silva. An angry Kurrgan sent all three men scrambling out of the ring as we

Dark Matches Before RAGE
Opening Bout Fatal Four Way Vincent Regliatti defeated Johnny Malibu, Donnie DiCaprio and Dick Raines by pinfall when Regliatti pinned Malibu after a Northern lights suplex at 8:51 **first of two matches featuring the 4 tag teams involved in that big brawl last week, now split up into singles competition. All the teams were warned beforehand not to interfere or else they would be suspended.
Bout #2 Fatal Four Way Chris Parys defeated Eric Scott, Will Damon and Dick Pound by pinfall when Parys pinned Damon after a top rope frankensteiner at 7:36 **Pound and Scott made the mistake of taking their fight outside, and inside Parys made a spectacular end to the bout.
Post-Match: The four man continued to brawl which brought out their tag partners and now we had ourselves another 8 man brawl.
Bout #3 Shane Madison defeated Al Hardamann by pinfall after a Kamikaze at 11:00 **this was an unexpected treat for the fans as these two really lit it up. In the end Hardamann went for the vertebreaker only to have Madison counter with his finisher.
Bout #4 Loser Leaves Town Match Stacey Lynn and Becky Swallows battled to a no-contest at 8:09 **so I guess no one has to leave town. Jessica Judd decided to return the favour and interfere on Becky's behalf. However, referee Jennifer Greaves decided that she wasn't going to let Lynn lose like that and threw the match out. Greaves drew the ire of Becky and Judd but Shiela Bloom came running out, grabbed a steel chair and got the girls to back off.
Bout #5 RCW Tag Team Title Match Wavell Starr & Red Thunder defeated The Spinebusters: Jerry Orth & Bryan Caruthers by disqualification for abuse of official at 10:12 [The Spinebusters retained the RCW Tag Team Titles] **The champs controlled the first 7 minutes but the challengers kept alive. The Native Sons made a nice comeback and rather when risk their titles, Orth pulled referee Kenny Jay into the path of a Wavell Starr running axhandle.
Bout #6 Kurrgan defeated Lord Zoltan by disqualification for outside interference at 7:51 **pretty much what you would expect with the Acadian monster against the weasel manager. Lots of stalling, running, hiding, cheating, and then Kurrgan destroying him. Manny Silva tried to do a run in but was taken out by Kurrgan. Vampiro had come to ringside but decided better than to risk getting banged up for his defence tonight. But Nicole Bass ran in and delivered a low blow to Kurrgan and then pulled Zoltan to safety. The three left together, a few steps behind the Heavyweight champion Vampiro.
RCW RAGE - One Hour Episode
The match begins as usual with a highlight package of the dark matches from earlier tonight.
Bout #7 North American Women's Title Match All Others Were Banned From Ringside TrummerFrauen defeated Nicole Bass by pinfall after a chokeslam at 8:55 [TrummerFrauen retained the North American Women's Title] **slug fest that could have gone either way with no interference possible under threat of suspension, and Zoltan was also banned from ringside. However, during a ref bump Bass got distracted first trying to revive referee Jennifer Greaves and then calling for presumably her stable mates, but she was distracted too long. TF came running across with a nasty knee to the head. She then hit a chokelsam..no ref yet....another chokeslam...no ref yet..3rd chokeslam, finally Greaves was able to make the count.
Announcement - Match of the Decade (1980's): Ricky Steamboat defeated Don Muraco by pinfall at 28:03 1989: Dec 14th: RCW #406 (10th Anniversary Show) Highlights are shown of the bout. Comments were taped and aired from Don Muraco.
Main Event RCW Heavyweight Title Match Vampiro defeated Manny Silva (/w Lord Zoltan) by countout at 10:06 [Vampiro retained the RCW Heavyweight Title] **Zoltan tried to act as a neutral party in this one and managed to stay out of the action cheering on both men. But when he would encourage Vampiro, Silva would give him an icy stare down. Silva controlled early. At first the two fought hard but clean enough. Vamp though fired back with everything he could, legal and otherwise, to try and retain his title. Vamp busted Silva wide open and the challenger saw red, figuratively and literally. The two battled inside when Kurrgan came down to ringside and grabbed Zoltan. He lifted him up and gorilla press slammed him onto the ring apron. The manager slowly rolled off the apron to the ground. Kurrgan lifted Zoltan up for a chokeslam, but Silva reached through the ropes and put the giant in a chokehold. Vampiro came running over and delivered a knee sending Silva spilling out on Kurrgan and Zoltan. Silva and Kurrgan got into a brawl and the challenger was counted out while Vampiro watched. The ref allowed the countout as opposed to throwing the bout out as he ruled that it was Silva's choice to engage.

River City Wrestling #838 June 24, 2000 Peoria, Illinois
Opening Bout William Butler Yeats defeated Ruffy Silverstein by submission to the cobra clutch at 7:24 **The end of the short winning streak for Silverstein.
Bout #2 Becky Swallows pinned Sheona Stewart by pinfall after a running neck snap at 5:40 **glorified squash match but without all the usual drama lately around the women's division.
Bout #3 Eddie Mustang defeated Stan Saxon by pinfall after a springboard bulldog at 9:04 **Saxon did his best to use his size and strength advantage to wear down the young Native star to no avail.
Bout #4 The Great Canadians: Vincent Regliatti & Eric Scott defeated Chris Parys & Johnny Malibu by pinfall when Scott pinned Malibu after a double team DDT at 11:50 **after the past two weeks of a 4 way tag match, and then two 4 corner singles matches, the teams split off into traditional tag matches. The winners would face each other in a #1 contenders bout next week.
Bout #5 Players Club: Will Damon & Donnie DiCaprio defeated Dick Raines & Richard Pound by pinfall when Damon pinned Raines after a brainbuster at 12:12 **the other of the two tag matches. The Players Club will face off against the Great Canadians in a top contenders bout next week.
Bout #6 RCW Tag Team Title Match The Spinebusters: Bryan Caruthers & Jerry Orth defeated Wavell Starr & Red Thunder by pinfall when Caruthers pinned Thunder after a spinebuster slam at 10:32 [The Spinebusters retained the RCW Tag Team Titles] **competitive bout but the champs defended fairly cleanly to put this challenge to rest.
RCW RAGE - One Hour Episode
The show opens as per usual with highlights of the dark matches from earlier in the night.
Bout #7 RCW Television Title Match Stan Baker defeated Shane Madison by pinfall after a heart punch at 8:35 [Stan Baker retained the RCW Television Title] **Baker controlled early and it was hard to see how Madison could pull off the upset. However, he dug into his trunks and pulled out brass knux. He didn't get the chance to use them right away though and had to stash them back down. As the match continued Al Hardamann came down to ringside and warned the ref about the brass knuckles. But as Hardamann tried to get Kenny Jay to understand, Madison ditched the knux under the ring and went after Hardamann. But Hardamann saw his coming and threw him head first into the ringsteps. He rolled Madison back inside the ring. Baker nailed a scoop slam, a fistdrop, sent Madison to the ropes and nailed him with the finisher. By now Hardamann had left for the dressing room.
Award Announcement - Match of the Decade 1990's: 1995: Thrillseekers: Chris Jericho & Lance Storm defeated African Bulldogs: Pariah & Temple by pinfall when Jericho pinned Pariah after he was put through a table at 24:!5; Dec 9th; RCW #593 (16th Anniversary Show) **highlights of the bout were shown, and a short thank you video was shown featuring Lance Storm.
Main Event Six-Man Tag Match Vampiro, Nicole Bass & Kurrgan defeated Manny Silva, TrummerFrauen & Lord Zoltan by pinfall when Vampiro pinned Zoltan after the nail in the coffin at 9:01 **this was a strange six-man tag match put together by commissioner Greg Gagne to stir the pot. Kurrgan had heat with his own teammate Vampiro but also with Silva/Zoltan on the other side. Zoltan wanted to stay in the good graces of Vampiro, still hoping to formally add him to the stable, but also Nicole Bass from his own stable was on the other side of the ring from Zoltan. The top two women in the fed faced off, but they also both wanted to try and prove themselves against the men. Silva cared nothing about Zoltan's mixed allegiances, he wanted a piece of the Heavyweight champ Vampiro as he still wants that title. So with all that you can imagine that this one was a clusterbout. However, it was well fought and while there were some two on ones, there were very little six-man brawls. The finish started when Zoltan tried to get Bass to lie down for him but instead the amazon kicked him in the gut, nailed a DDT, a press slam, got a 2 count. Tag out to Vampiro. The Heavyweight champ caught up to Zoltan before he could tag out. This didn't stop the other two from coming in, and we had our first true six man brawl. Vamp though got Zoltan isolated, nailed his finisher and amid the chaos referee Buddy Lane laid down the 1, 2, 3.
Post-Match: Bass and TrummerFrauen continued to brawl outside the ring. Silva and Kurrgan also brawled with Zoltan recovering. Vampiro was the odd man out with no dance partner. Zoltan encouraged Vampiro to help Mad Dog Silva, and he looked over at Kurrgan/Silva, but instead grabbed his Heavyweight title and left for the showers.

Dark Matches before RAGE
Opening Bout Tiger Khan defeated Squeegee Kid by pinfall after a Tiger Bomb at 6:58 **good premiere for Tiger Khan a 5'11 233 lb heel technician.
Bout #2 Dick Raines & Richard Pound defeated Chris Parys & Johnny Malibu by pinfall when Pound pinned Malibu after a stuffed piledriver at 7:30 **the heels get back into the win column. Malibu looked like the weak link in this bout.
Bout #3 Sam Holiday defeated Bryan Caruthers by pinfall after a top rope legdrop at 10:21 **excellent match with Holiday defeating the more technically sound of the two tag team champions in a rare single appearance, as the Spinebusters wait for the new #1 tag contenders to be decided later tonight.
Bout #4 Balls Mahoney defeated Jerry Orth by disqualification for use of a foreign object at 8:45 **Orth, the other Spinebuster, looked overwhelmed without his tag partner. Perhaps not wanting to take another singles loss for his tag team Orth knowing he was in trouble used a steel chair outside the ring to smash Mahoney several times. He left him laid out and bleeding. Mahoney did the stretcher job.
Bout #5 Al Hardamann defeated Shane Madison by pinfall after a vertebreaker at 10:44 **rematch from several weeks ago, this time Hardamann got the duke.
Bout #6 #1 Contenders Tag Match Players Club: Will Damon & Donnie DiCaprio defeated Great Canadians: Eric Scott & Vincent Regliatti by pinfall when Damon pinned Scott after a Northern lights suplex at 12:06 **really good tag match between the teams that won their semi-final matches in this mini-tournament. Regliatti is the most technically sound of the four men, and the former RCW champion really stole the show with his ability to control his opponents. However the end came when after the suplex, DiCaprio was reaching into the ring and holding down the legs of Scott to impede his ability to kick out of the pin.
RCW RAGE - One Hour Episode
The show begins with the usual highlights of the dark matches from earlier in the night.
Bout #7 North American Women's Title Match Cage Match TrummerFrauen defeated Nicole Bass by pinfall after a superplex at 11:11 [TrummerFrauen retained the North American Women's Title] **a rare women's cage match, but then again these are two rare women. It was a slug fest and power exhibition of course as these women barely don't know a wrist lock from a wrist watch. Lord Zoltan was outside the ring for Bass but because of the cage was even more useless than normal. Both women were busted open right near the end of the bout, and both women kicked out of their opponent's attempt to win via chokeslam. The end came as the two battled at the top buckle, and the champ won brining Bass crashing down to the mat.
Retirement of Kenny Jay. We had a special announcement and ceremony as long time RCW referee (and former AWA wrestler), Kenny "Sodbuster" Jay is retiring. Greg Gagne is joined by his former High Flyer teammate (and RCW Hall of Famer) Jim Brunzell, as well as Stan Mullen (long time head of the RCW Fan Club, and member of the Hall of Fame Committee), and head of officials Buddy Lane, in presenting a special shovel (sodbuster style) to Jay and a commemorative watch to mark the occasion.
Main Event RCW Heavyweight Title Match Cage Match Vampiro defeated Manny Silva (/w Lord Zoltan) by pinfall after the nail in the coffin at 17:48 [Vampiro retained the RCW Heavyweight Title] **this match was heavily edited for television, for time and near the end content as both men bled. Lord Zoltan was probably happy that he had to remain outside the ring as a neutral observer, and he seemed very neutral, not even cheering on his charge Manny Silva. The match was even, and brutal. In the end Silva's leg had been weakened by the champ, and when Mad Dog went for his wheelbarrow suplex his knee buckled. This was all Vamp needed to counter the move with his finisher and retain his belt. Good match.

Dark Matches before RAGE
Opening Bout Ruffy Silverstein defeated Squeegee Kid by pinfall after an Ace crusher at 9:57 **very fast paced match that really got the fans going. The end came just 3 seconds before time was set to expire.
Bout #2 Stacey Lynn defeated Becky Swallows by pinfall after a fallaway suplex at 6:39 **nothing new here.
Bout #3 Chris Parys and Eric Scott battled to a double countout at 7:50 **Both men are normally more tag team competitors, but this was a solid singles belt with tempers getting out of hand.
Bout #4 Tiger Khan defeated Wavell Starr by pinfall after hitting him with a pair of brass knuckles at 8:41 **another very solid singles bout. Khan wrestled a frustrating ground game to combat his physically superior opponent. He used lots of moves that he could slip into chokeholds etc. Then on a short ref bump he produced brass knux to pick up a tainted win.
RCW RAGE - One Hour Episode
The show begins of course with highlights of the dark matches from earlier in the night.
Bout #5 Young Guns: Greg Pawluk & Johnny Devine defeated Dick Raines & Richard Pound when Devine pinned Raines after a tornado DDT at 10:23 **this tag match could have gone either way.
Bout #6 RCW Television Title Match Stan Baker defeated Kurrgan by countout at 9:10 [Stan Baker retained the RCW Television Title] **perhaps the toughest test to date for the man who has held the TV title since February 19th. The end came when Baker was able to roll back inside the ring and beat the count after the two were brawling outside the ring.
Main Event #1 Contender - Mini-Battle Royale Sam Holiday vs Al Hardamann vs Eddie Mustang vs Shane Madison vs William Yeats vs Vincent Regliatti Six top contenders were named by Greg Gagne and the winner here would get a title bout next week. [William Yeats eliminated by Holiday, Hardamann at 3:13] **friends Holiday and Hardamann had a distinct advantage working together. Other alliances were formed as well which led to our next elimination which happened almost simultaneously. [Eddie Mustang eliminated by Madison, Regliatti at 3:15] [Al Hardamann eliminated by Madison at 5:46] [Shane Madison eliminated by Holiday, Regliatti at 7:11] [Vincent Regliatti eliminated by Holiday at 9:06] [Sam Holiday wins the Six Man Mini-Battle Royale at 9:06]

Dark Matches before RAGE
Opening Bout Canadian Outlaws: Adam Knight & Darren Dalton defeated Stan Saxon & Porno Tony Gold by submission when Knight submitted Gold to the elevated Boston crab at 8:53 **Knight and Dalton make their return to RCW, this time as a tag team, and in western gear.
Bout #2 Ruffy Silverstein defeated Squeegee Kid by pinfall after an inside cradle at 10:08 **return bout, and again Silverstein gets the victory. Last time was 3 seconds before the 10 minute time limit, this time it was a fifteen minute time limit which allowed him to gain another victory.
Bout #3 Al Hardamann defeated William Butler Yeats by pinfall after a vertebreaker at 7:25 **a pecking order match. Hardamann continually seems to be right on the cusp of breaking through but can never quite pull it off.
Bout #4 Great Canadians: Eric Scott & Vincent Regliatti defeated Chris Parys & Johnny Malibu by submission when Regliatti submitted Malibu to the figure-four leglock at 9:21 **another pecking order match, this time in the tag ranks
Post-Match: The Great Canadians do a promo where they mock the Canadian Outlaws and say that they are new to RCW so they will cut them a break, but they need to stop using Canadian in their tag name. First of all, there is only room in RCW for one great Canadian tag team, and it's not the Young Guns and its not the Outlaws. So they need to change their name or they will become the ICU, Intensive Care Unit Outlaws. They also say that the Outlaws are a disgrace to Canada. The newcomers of course won't stand for that and they come out and jaw, and we get a match set for next week.
Bout #5 Wavell Starr defeated Tiger Khan by pinfall after a flying axhandle at 8:22 **rematch from last week where Khan used brass knux to win. This time he cheated where he could but Starr fought his way through that.
Bout #6 RCW Television Title Match Triangle Match Stan Baker defeated Shane Madison and Kurrgan by pinfall when Baker pinned Madison after a heart punch at 9:14 [Stan Baker retained the RCW Television Title Match] **all three men had their moments of dominance. Most people felt the only way for Baker to victory was to take out Madison and not try the Giant Acadian. That was easier said than done though as Madison proved quite capable. The end came when Madison raked both eyes of Kurrgan to neutralize him, and succeeded, but he turned right into a heart punch.
RCW RAGE - One Hour Episode
The show begins with highlights of the dark matches from earlier in the night.
Bout #7 RCW Tag Team Title Match The Spinebusters: Jerry Orth & Bryan Caruthers defeated The Players Club: Will Damon & Donnie DiCaprio by disqualification for outside interference at 11:05 [The Spinebusters retained the RCW Tag Team Titles] **the enemy of my enemy is my friend? The PC were outmatched in this bout against the Busters but managed to hang on. This was a match between two heel teams and the fans were split on who they hated more. However, Shane Madison, the 3rd member of the Players Club, came out and tried to interfere in the bout and was caught. Referee Jennifer Greaves called for the bell. The PC started to lay in a beating 3 on 2, when of all people Al Hardamann came to the Spinebusters' rescue. This was for sure more to do with Hardamann's recent troubles with Madison than any love for the tag champs. Hardamann didn't stick around to see if he would be thanked, slipping out of the ring and leaving through the crowd.
Award Ceremony - Wrestler of the Decade 1980's: The Destroyer The masked man who was RCW's first Heavyweight title, won the wrestler of the year the first 3 years in business 1980-1982. He also won Rookie of the Year unmasked as Tod Hesterey, but was stripped of that award when his identity was discovered.. Destroyer was involved in feud of the year 3 times, and match of the year twice. The first man to be inducted into the RCW Hall of Fame, held the Heavyweight title 3 times a combined 2 1/2 years of reigns, and held the TV/Heritage title twice (once masked and once unmasked). He is the River City Original and is on hand to accept the award to an admiring crowd.
Award Ceremony - Wrestler of the Decade 1990's: Vendetta The Haitian warrior won wrestler of the year in 1998 a decade after winning it the first time, he had 3 Heavyweight title reigns in the 90's, the last of which ran eight months before he forfeited the title after successfully defending it at the 1998 year end show. He had a feud of the year with his arch enemy Rogue, and a match of the year in 1998 with Gary Goodridge. With the possible exceptions of The Destroyer and Jim Brunzell, Vendetta is the most beloved wrestler to RCW fans of all time. Unfortunately Vendetta could not be on hand tonight but did send in a short video clip of acceptance. He tells the audience about his ongoing humanitarian efforts in his homeland of Haiti.
Main Event RCW Heavyweight Title Match Vampiro defeated Sam Holiday by pinfall after a nail in the coffin at 20:23 [Vampiro retained the RCW Heavyweight Title] **this bout had to be heavily edited for time on television. Vamp controlled the first 5 minutes, and then Holiday took over the bout and for the rest beat the champ from pillar to post. Vamp managed to move away from the top rope leg drop to save himself at one point, and got a foot over the bottom rope after a Samoan drop. He also managed to survive time in a hangman and in an STF. He began to try and take the bout outside to buy time and try and turn the momentum by brawling, but the American Cowboy gave as good as he got, and better. Holiday nailed a slingshot facebuster, rolled over Vamp, covered, 1, 2, 3!! New champion. Holiday celebrated on his knees, but referee Buddy Lane was telling him no, he slapped the mat for the third count because he couldn't stop his hand but Vamp got his foot on the bottom strand just in time. Holiday was incredulous. He stood up and Lane motioned to the announce table to keep the time running, and as he was turned Vamp nailed the challenger with a lowblow, then nailed his finisher, and by the skin of his teeth the champ held onto his belt.

Dark Matches before RAGE
Opening Bout Tiger Khan defeated Chris Payrs by pinfall after a tiger driver at 7:58 **Khan gets back to the pay window, Parys' tag team with Johnny Malibu looks like it is done and he is entering the singles division.
Bout #2 Greg Pawluk defeated Dick Raines by disqualification for outside interference at 6:36 **Another former tag wrestler, Pawluk, now entering the singles scene after he and partner Devine failed to win the tag belts. Unfortunately even though Pawluk looked on the verge of victory, Raines' partner Richard Pound came into the ring and we had a two on one beatdown until officials broke it up. No partner was there to help out Pawluk.
Bout #3 Wavell Starr & Eddie Mustang defeated Stan Saxzon & William Butler Yeats by pinfall when Starr pinned Yeates after a flying axhandle at 8:57 **kind of a thrown together tag match.
Bout #4 Ruffy Silverstein defeated Richard Pound by pinfall after a springboard back elbow at 7:03 **maybe a minor upset.
Bout #5 Canadian Outlaws: Adam Knight & Darren Dalton defeated Great Canadians: Eric Scott & Vincent Regliatti by countout at 9:40 **the GC controlled early as they isolated Dalton. But the western Cowboys came back and had their opponents so frustrated that in protest to what they claimed was biased officiating they took a countout loss. However, after the bout as the Outlaws were leaving, the Great Canadians came back and sneak attacked them, leaving them laying.
RCW RAGE - One Hour Episode
Bout #6 RCW Television Title Match Taped Fists Match Stan Baker defeated Kurrgan by pinfall after a heartpunch at 8:28 [Stan Baker retained the RCW Television Title] **hard fought, bloody, intense. Baker used the strategy of going after the legs of Kurrgan instead of the head (with taped fists). And then when the opportunity presented itself, he took Kurrgan's legs out, and as the big man tried to get to his feet he was wide open for a pair of left jabs to the head, and a right cross to the heart dropping the Acadian like a stone.
Bout #7 Six-Man Tag Match Players Club: Will Damon, Donnie DiCaprio & Shane Madison defeated The Spinebusters: Jerry Orth & Bryan Caruthers, & Al Hardamann by pinfall when Madison pinned Hardamann after an Avalanche Hurrancanrana at 12:15 **strange bedfellows with Hardamann teaming with the heel tag champions. Things went smoothly at first as the Busters and Hardamann controlled the bout, but when the PC took over the Busters began to lose patience with Hardamann. When Hardamann was in trouble and crawled over for the tag the champs dropped down off the apron instead. Damon and DiCaprio then nailed a double Russian legsweep on Hardamann, covered 1, 2, kickout! Suddenly the Busters were back and looking for a tag. But before Hardamann could get the tag Madison tackled him. The Busters decided to enter the ring anyway and a six man brawl broke out. But the PC neutralized the champs enough for Madison to nail his finisher on Hardamann and get the pin.
Post-Match: The PC left victorious, so the Busters for some reason thought that Hardamann had wronged them and they attacked him. The 2 on 1 attack was stopped by a charging Sam Holiday; who was scheduled to wrestle next in the main event for the title against Vampiro. But before they could clear the ring of the tag champs, Vampiro came into the ring and attacked Holiday from behind. So now it was 3 on 2 with the Heavyweight and tag champs taking liberties with Holiday and Hardamann. This continued until RCW officials could break it up.
Main Event RCW Heavyweight Title Match Vampiro and Sam Holiday battled to a no-contest at 6:06 [Vampiro retained his RCW Heavyweight Title] **so these two had fought at the end of the last bout. Then they had about a five minute brawl again before the start of this bout. The match probably would have been thrown out except it was the TV main event. So RCW officials got the two separated, cooled off, and then they locked up. Of course the animosity just started all over again and soon enough as the two battled outside the ring using steel chairs on each other, referee Buddy Lane threw out the bout.

Dark Matches before RAGE
Opening Bout Tiger Khan defeated Johnny Malibu by pinfall after the Bombay jam at 6:27 **Khan still looking strong.
Bout #2 Chris Parys defeated William Butler Yeats by pinfall after the Parysault at 9:09 **solid win for Parys after his former partner just lost to Khan in the opener.
Bout #3 Kurrgan defeated Dirty Dick Raines by pinfall after a chokeslam at 5:22 **after Raines/Pound double teamed Pawluk last week who now has no partner with Johnny Devine having left the territory, Greg Gagne arranged to have Kurrgan battle Raines first before Pawluk sought his revenge on Pound. Kurrgan gave Raines a beating.
Bout #4 "Pistol" Greg Pawluk defeated Richard Pound by submission to the sharpshooter at 7:50 **Kurrgan came out to stand at ringside just to make sure Raines didn't appear. At one point Raines came down but took one look at the Acadian giant and went back to the dressing rooms. Pawluk had to overcome a size difference as well as a blatant disregard for the rules but still came up with the impressive victory.
Bout #5 Players Club: Will Damon & Shane Madison (/w Donnie DiCaprio) defeated Native Sons: Wavell Starr & Eddie Mustang by pinfall when Madison pinned Mustang after a Kamikaze at 11:00 **solid tag team match, with Red Thunder having moved on from the territory, leaving Native Sons down one man. That was the difference as a timely trip by DiCaprio turned the tables at the right time.
Bout #6 Canadian Outlaws: Adam Knight & Darren Dalton defeated Great Canadians: Eric Scott & Vincent Regliatti by pinfall when Knight pinned Scott after a spinning powerbomb at 9:05 **this was a pretty big upset. Doesn't look like Scott and Regliatti had their hearts in this one.
Bout #7 RCW Television Title Match Stan Baker defeated Ruffy Silverstein by pinfall after a running powerslam at 8:47 [Stan Baker retained the RCW Television Title] **Baker continues to roll through one opponent after another, looking very dominant. It's discouraging though how often the TV title is defended in dark matches instead of on the main TV program itself (although highlights are always shown).
RCW RAGE - One Hour Episode
Bout #8 Non-Title Match The Spinebusters: Jerry Orth & Bryan Caruthers defeated Al Hardamann & Balls Mahoney by pinfall when Orth pinned Mahoney after a top rope kneedrop at 10:29 **the tag belts were not on the line as their opponents each had an axe to grind with the champs from separate incidents over the past few weeks, but hadn't actually teamed together before. Individually the tag champs were overmatched, but they used double teams and strategy to hold their own. The end came after Orth ran Mahoney head first into an exposed turnbuckle, then hit his finisher. This may be the first time in wrestling history that anyone has successfully pulled off using an exposed turnbuckle instead of it being turned on them. Mahoney was busted wide open.
Post-Match: The tag champs nailed Hardamann, and tossed him out of the ring. They then began to lay the boots to Mahoney until the Acadian giant Kurrgan came out to make the save, nailing both of them, and then hitting a double chokeslam.
Main Event RCW Heavyweight Title Match 30 Minute Iron Man Match Sam Holiday defeated Vampiro 2 falls to 0 in a 30-man IronMan match [Sam Holiday won the RCW Heavyweight Title] **The match had to be edited for time on television. Because of their previous two meetings Greg Gagne decided this bout should not end by a fluke, so he made it a 30 man ironman match. The match started hot with fisticuffs and brawling outside the ring before the two settled it down. Holiday though grabbed an advantage with a flying clotheslines, a big knee drop, and then came off the top rope with a legdrop to get a fall. [Sam Holiday pinned Vampiro after a top rope legdrop at 11:55] [Sam Holiday leads 1-0] **the bout then went back and forth. The closer to the end it got the more Vampiro began to take chances and push it. He risked disqualification constantly near the end especially outside the ring. He then had Holiday all but beat as he pressed his advantage and got two counts after a tombstone piledriver, and after a powerbomb. He then went for the nail in the coffin but Holiday floated over rolled Vamp up and got a surprise second fall with only seconds remaining. [Sam Holiday pinned Vampiro after a victory roll at 29:50] [Sam Holiday leads 2-0] **Ten seconds later and we have a new Heavyweight champion. Sam Holiday celebrated in the ring and was joined by his buddy Al Hardamann, and then Kurrgan and Balls Mahoney as well. This is Holiday's first RCW title run, and the 56th overall title reign in the title lineage.

Opening Bout Shane Madison defeated Chris Parys by pinfall after a Northern lights suplex (and his feet on the ropes) at 9:46 **another match that barely snuck in under the opener 10 minute time limit. Two young studs going at it, and Madison decided to cheat to win.
Bout #2 Richard Pound & Dick Raines defeated Matt Fairlane & Ryan Price by pinfall when Raines pinned Fairlane after a spiked piledriver at 7:40 **debut match for a pair of youngsters Fairlane and Price. The newcomers looked all right but were no match for the more experienced, bigger, and experienced cheaters that they faced.
Bout #3 Greg Pawluk defeated William Butler Yeats by submission to the sharpshooter at 10:21 **Pawluk is looking like a true mid-carder in the singles scene.
Bout #4 #1 Contender Match for the TV Title Wavell Starr defeated Vincent Regliatti by pinfall after a flying axhandle at 12:34 **solid match, and an important one for the pecking order in the singles division. Regliatti was quite upset with himself after losing. While he had a short heavyweight title run back in early 1999, since then his singles career has been less than stellar, and his tag efforts with Eric Scott failed to bring home the gold.
Bout #5 Giant Balls: Kurrgan & Balls Mahoney defeated Players Club: Will Damon & Donnie DiCaprio by countout at 7:54 **newly formed tag team Giant Balls gets their revenge on the PC, who decided they had enough of a beating and left for the showers early.
RCW RAGE - One Hour Episode
Promo: Vampiro was supposed to get his return match tonight but is nursing some injuries sustained in the loss of his belt last week to Holiday. So instead he will get his title shot on August 19th at Summer Sizzle II. Lord Zoltan came out and said that since he managed Vampiro (which Joe Aiello said that he didn't actually but Zoltan ignored him), that he should allow that title shot to transfer to his other man Manny Silva (we haven't seen the Mad Dog Hawaiian in several weeks). Sam Holiday of course came out to accept the challenge, and Manny Silva appeared trying to sneak attack Holiday but the cowboy was too aware and threw Silva right back out of the ring over the top rope, and then chased Zoltan away.
We are told that yes, we will have another Summer Sizzle card, following up on last year's success. This super show will feature 8 matches (4 mens and 4 women), and most of the affiliates are picking it up in its two hour format on August 19th from St. Paul, Minnesota.
Bout #6 RCW Tag Team Title Match The Spinebusters: Jerry Orth & Bryan Caruthers defeated Canadian Outlaws: Adam Knight & Darren Dalton by pinfall when Orth pinned Knight after a top rope kneedrop at 9:06 [The Spinebusters retained the RCW Tag Team Titles] **the Outlaws got a title shot after besting the Great Canadians, but were overwhelmed and out gunned by the tag champs who are still a step above them.
Video tribute is shown for Toledo Ohio's own great wrestler from the past, the Great Wojo.
Bout #7 RCW Television Title Stan Baker defeated Al Hardamann by countout at 11:20 [Stan Baker retained the RCW Television Title] **One of Baker's toughest challenges. He survived the challenge after throwing Hardamann over the announce table, sending him sliding head first into the guardrail. Baker then went back to the ring and took the countout victory.
Main Event RCW Heavyweight Title Match Sam Holiday defeated Manny Silva (/w Lord Zoltan) by disqualification for outside interference (Tiger Khan) at 8:42 [Sam Holiday retained the RCW Heavyweight Title] **Mad Dog went ballistic to start the bout, pounding away at the champ. He kept him close quarters, used the ropes as a weapon to choke and to rake the head. He also kept him in the corner for punishment from chops, forearms, knees, and shoulderblocks. In fact the first 7 minutes were all Silva in a very strange occurrence. Finally the champ made a comeback after countering a piledriver with a back body drop. A series of clotheslines, a piledriver of his own, and he went to the top rope. Zoltan got onto the apron to knock the champ off, but Buddy Lane intercepted him, knocking him off the apron with a forearm shiver (drawing the biggest cheer of the night). Holiday nailed the top rope legdrop, covered, 1,...Tiger Khan hit the ring and attacked Holiday. He was encouraged by Zoltan, and Silva recovered and we had a 3 on 1. Zoltan also now menaced Lane but the ref didn't back down and Zoltan thought better than to try and fight an RCW referee. Al Hardamann hit the ring with a steel chair to clear things out and save his friend from further damage.

River City Wrestling #845 August 12, 2000 Bloomington, IN
Opening Bout Matt Fairlane defeated Zakk Wylde by pinfall after a somersault clothesline at 7:38 **premiere of Wylde.
Bout #2 Lord Zoltan defeated The Squeegee Kid after a DDT at 5:30 **rare match for manager/wrestler Zoltan. Kid looked to have it in control but came off the top for a splash too early, Zoltan made him eat knees, then hit the DDT for the win.
Bout #3 Six-Man Tag Team Match Adam Knight, Darren Dalton & Ruffy Silverstein defeated Richard Pound, Dick Raines & William Butler Yeats by pinfall when Knight pinned Raines after a running powerslam at 10:24 **filler. Six men get a paycheck.
Bout #4 Greg Pawluk defeated Vincent Regliatti by submission to the sharpshooter at 6:11 **fairly quick win for Pawluk, and perhaps an uspet. Regs' heart didn't seem to be in it, and the former Heavyweight champ gave up quickly in the sharpshooter.
Post-Match: A dejected Regliatti gets on the mic, and says although he doesn't like the fans, he wants to thank them for putting money in his pockets the last couple years and helping him fulfill a childhood dream of being a pro wrestler, and a champion. With that he announces his retirement. But before he can leave the ring, RCW trainer and road agent Vic Gate comes to the ring. Gate tells Regliatti that he had solid training from the Ontario production factory run by Ron Hutchinson, but since then he has been coasting on that, and more and more relying on cheating. He tells Regs that if he will stay active and not retire then he will personally train him and help him continue his journey. Regs says he'll think about it.
Bout #5 Non-Title Match Eddie Mustang defeated Stan Baker by disqualification for use of a foreign object at 7:54 **since this was a non-title match Baker used it to send a vicious message to Mustang's fellow Native Son, Wavell Starr who he will defend the title against next week at Summer Sizzle. Not caring about the decision Baker took the DQ in order to savage Mustang with the ring bell, busting him wide open. Starr was not in the building tonight but eventually some of the second tier grapplers came out to make the save.
RCW RAGE - One Hour Episode
Highlights of the dark matches of course start the show off.
Bout #6 #1 Contender Match - Triangle Match Stacey Lynn defeated Jessica Judd and Becky Swallows by pinfall when Lynn pinned Judd after a superkick (and outside interference) at 9:06 **winner gets a title shot at TrummerFrauen next week. Fast forward to the ending, a blonde mid 30's very fit (a lot like Lynn) interfered during a ref bump. She handed Judd her guitar, but then as Judd swung she grabbed onto the guitar to hold her and allow Lynn a chance to nail a superkick. The blonde then took care of Becky and allowed Lynn to pick up the win after reviving referee Shiela Bloom.
Post-Match: Stacey Lynn introduces her friend and partner Christine, Chris Lydon. Not only is she a fitness competitor like Lynn but also an actress who has played in movies including Jackie Brown, Vampires or Sorority Row, and mini-series Click where she played the role of New Pussy. Lynn says there has been a balance of power too long in the women's division and now Lydon is going to help her upset that balance.
Video tribute to Bloomington, Indiana's own wrestling son Mick Foley.
Bout #7 Six-Man Tag Match Giant Balls: Kurrgan & Balls Mahoney & Chris Parys defeated Players Club: Will Damon, Donnie DiCaprio & Shane Madison by pinfall when Parys pinned Madison after a Parysault at 11:51 **not a huge surprise here as Kurrgan and Balls are a step above the PC, but a strong showing by Parys including picking up the win was a bit of a turn of events. After the bout the PC were not too happy with each other and all 3 had words of blame to go around.
Promo for next week's Summer Sizzle. Former Women's champion Emma Bezzlerr, and Mistress Gloom, two of the most powerful women to ever compete in RCW are going to take on Nicole Bass in a Triangle Match. In addition, another powerhouse, Christi Wolf, who many fans know as Asya from WCW is signed to premiere in RCW against Becky Swallows.
Main Event Sam Holiday & Al Hardamann defeated Manny Silva & Tiger Khan (/w Lord Zoltan) by pinfall when Hardamann pinned Khan after a vertebreaker at 9:29 **Holiday is getting ready for his big title defence next week against Vampiro, but seemed locked into this match. Khan though had a good run using his superior ground game to take down the heavyweight champ. However, once the good guys got on a roll they could not be stopped.

Dark Matches
Opening Bout Many Silva & Tiger Khan (/w Lord Zoltan) defeated Canadian Outlaws: Adam Knight & Darren Dalton by pinfall when Silva pinned Dalton after a wheelbarrow suplex at 9:20 **The Outlaws were a bit over matched in this one, especially by the Hawaiian Mad Dog Silva.
Bout #2 Triangle Match Nicole Bass defeated Emma Bezzlerr and Mistress Gloom by pinfall when she pinned Gloom after a chokeslam at 7:01 **mercifully short match, three powerhouses, with Bezzlerr and Gloom being brought back for the one shot.
Special Two Hour RCW RAGE Episode
Highlights of the dark matches from earlier in the night.
Bout #3 Christi Wolf defeated Becky Swallows by submission to the figure-four necklock at 5:32 **the newcomer Wolf, yet another amazon type competitor, known to the fans as Asya from WCW, made short work of Swallows. The fans actually cheered for Becky in this one. The women's division seems to mainly be made up of tweeners.
Bout #4 RCW Television Title Match Wavell Starr defeated Stan Baker by countout at 9:46 [Stan Baker retained the RCW Television Title] **Starr gave a great account of himself. After some opening energy fuelled by Baker's beatdown last week of Eddie Mustang, Starr got his emotions in check and controlled most of the bout. In the end a rattled Baker took a countout by feigning that he was returning to the ring but then backing away. Starr was caught off guard, and although he won, he wasn't happy leaving the title on the table.
Bout #5 Jessica Judd defeated Chris Lydon by pinfall after a hurrancanrana at 8:18 **Disappointing loss for Lydon in her opening bout but it didn't stop her from breaking the guitar over JJ's head after the bout.
Bout #6 RCW Tag Team Title Match Giant Balls: Kurrgan & Balls Mahoney defeated The Spinebusters: Jerry Orth & Bryan Caruthers by pinfall when Mahoney pinned Caruthers after a Ball Breaker at 12:21 [Kurrgan & Balls Mahoney win the RCW Tag Team Titles] **The challengers started the match strong, dominating using their superior strength and brawling ability. The champs stalled for time, and eventually used some double teams and quick tags to grab an advantage over Kurrgan. However, they couldn't keep that advantage too long because of the Giant's power. We had a couple four man brawls outside the ring, including a table set up but no one ended up being put through it. Back inside the champs grabbed control, this time isolating Mahoney. They went for a spiked piledriver but Kurrgan came around the apron and knocked Orth all the way to the floor below. Mahoney was up in the piledriver position too long and managed to counter it with a back body drop. When Caruthers got to his feet he went over for the tag but instead of Orth he only found Kurrgan who nailed him with a headbutt. Caruthers stumbled back to Mahoney who hit his version of a sitout spinebuster (perhaps sending a message with that choice of finisher), and we have new tag champs!! This ends a pretty impressive 5 month long 2nd tag title run by the Spinebusters which began back on March 25th when they beat the Road Warriors. It will be the first tag titles for both Kurrgan and Mahoney. It is also the 76th title run in the championship lineage.
Bout #7 North American Women's Title Match TrummerFrauen defeated Stacey Lynn (/w Chris Lydon) by pinfall after a chokeslam at 7:59 [TrummerFrauen retained the North American Women's Title] **Apparently Lydon was granted a manager's license in time to be in her friend's corner. Lydon's help, both legal and illegal, kind of levelled the playing field against the champ's size, power, and willingness to cheat (although Lynn and Lydon were also cheating like a redneck bachelor party). In the end the champ pulled Lydon into the ring over the top rope. Lynn took a run at the champ but TF caught her by the throat. Referee Jennifer Greaves allowed the champ to deliver a double chokeslam on Lynn and Lydon. Greaves then allowed the pin even though Lydon was still in the ring. Dominant showing by the champ.
Main Event RCW Heavyweight Title Match Sam Holiday defeated Vampiro by disqualification for abuse of official at 11:03 [Sam Holiday retained the RCW Heavyweight Title] **this was Vampiro's return bout after dropping the title to Holiday in a iron man match last month. Vamp controlled early doing some cheating and taking the bout in and out of the ring. But Holiday took the bout back and slowly exerted his dominance. Finally when it looked like Vampiro should consult a lawyer to sue his legs for non-support, he took the coward's way out dragging referee Buddy Lane in the way of a running clothesline. Vamp nailed Holiday with a low blow when the champ was checking on the ref. He then hit Holiday with the nail in the coffin finisher, covered, but no ref to count. Vamp tried to revive Lane but this allowed Holiday to recover. The champ was taking it to Vamp in the corner with punches when Vamp took him back out with an inverted atomic drop. Lane by now recovered and called for the bell disqualifying Vampiro. As soon as that was announced the former champ just slid out of the ring, jawed with some fans, and left the ring area. Holiday celebrated with his belt as we

Dark Matches before RAGE
Opening Bout Canadian Outlaws: Adam Knight & Darren Dalton defeated Zakk Wylde & Rawhide Kid by pinfall when Dalton pinned Wylde after a powerbomb at 7:52 **unspectacular premiere of the Rawhide Kid
Bout #2 Greg Pawluk defeated Donnie DiCaprio by pinfall after a hotshot at 8:08 **there will be 3 straight matches tonight of the Players Club in singles action. So far they are 0-1.
Bout #3 Al Hardamann defeated Will Damon by pinfall after the vertebreaker at 4:35 **very fast match and the PC are 0-2.
Bout #4 Chris Parys defeated Shane Madison by disqualification for outside interference at 6:57 **Madison controlled early but Parys managed to stay alive. Then when it looked like Parys was turning things around Damon and DiCaprio hit the ring to attack and attacked Parys. They encouraged Madison to join in but he looked pissed off at the rest of the Players Club for causing him the loss. Al Hardamann returned to the ring grabbing a steel chair on the way and cleared the ring. Walking away from the ring Madison was keeping his distance from Damon and DiCaprio and shaking his head.
Bout #5 Tiger Khan & Lord Zoltan defeated Matt Fairlane & Ryan Price by pinfall when Khan pinned Price after a Tiger Driver at 9:01 **This was supposed to be Manny Silva and Khan but when Silva no-showed, Greg Gagne made Zoltan step in for his man. Zoltan is not exactly Bruno Sammartino but he can hold his own against second tier guys like Fairlane and Price; and Khan looked really strong.
RCW RAGE - One Hour Episode
Highlights of the dark matches from earlier tonight.
Bout #6 RCW Television Title Match Stan Baker defeated Eddie Mustang by pinfall after a heart punch at 4:24 [Stan Baker retained the RCW Television Title] **Last time these two faced off it was non-title and Baker only cared about hurting Mustang and sending a message to Wavell Starr. After last week Starr is set for another title shot but Baker offered one instead to Mustang (something Starr could not turn down for his friend). This time Baker was all business, and although Mustang controlled the first minute, Baker slapped his weak dropkick attempt aside and then poured on the power for the rest of the short bout.
Promo: Vincent Regliatti comes to the ring and calls out Vic Gate. He thanks him for the offer and has decided to accept it. He will train again with Gate but only on the condition that he can continue to wrestle at the same time. Gate agrees and the two shake hands.
Bout #7 Fatal Five Way Elimination Match - #1 Contenders Match Jessica Judd defeated Nicole Bass, Stacey Lynn, Chris Lydon, and Christi Wolf at 13:12 **Lynn and Lydon formed a team together but they were in tough against powerhouses Wolf and Bass. [Nicole Bass eliminated by pinfall by Wolf after an underhook suplex at 6:02] [Chris Lydon eliminated by pinfall by Judd after a swinging neckbreaker at 7:29] [Stacey Lynn eliminated by pinfall by Wolf after a sidewalk slam at 9:37] **the final two are Judd and Wolf. Judd took quite a beating but managed to stay alive. Wolf took the action outside and after throwing Judd across the announce table the country girl ~waffled~ Wolf with her guitar. Referee Jennifer Greaves let the guitar shot go since she had allowed Wolf liberties outside the ring as well. Judd rolled Wolf back inside the ring and nailed her swinging neckbreaker finisher to pick up the win (quite a feat according to Linley Tolbert as Wolf doesn't really look like she has a neck). [Christi Wolf eliminated by pinfall by Judd after a swinging neckbreaker at 13:12]
Video Tribute to The Crusher, Reggie Lisowski, the man who made Milwaukee famous.
Main Event RCW Tag Team Title Match Giant Balls: Kurrgan & Balls Mahoney defeated Spinebusters: Jerry Orth & Bryan Caruthers by pinfall when Kurrgan pinned Orth after a tombstone piledriver at 8:26 [Giant Balls retained the RCW Tag Team Titles] **the guaranteed return bout for former champion Spinebusters. It was a fairly even match but you never really had the feeling the titles were in jeopardy.

Dark Matches Before RAGE
Opening Bout Vincent Regliatti (/w Vic Gate) defeated Rawhide Kid by submission to the sleeperhold at 9:12 **Gate kept Regs on the straight and narrow and treated it more like a workout than an actual match. Regs seemed mad that he was being put through his paces but put up with it. But after the bout when Gate tried to get him to stick around for a few pointers he had enough and walked out.
Bout #2 Al Hardamann defeated William Butler Yeats by pinfall after a vertebreaker at 6:32 **solid win for Hardamann
Bout #3 Tiger Khan & Lord Zoltan defeated Canadian Outlaws: Adam Knight & Darren Dalton by pinfall when Zoltan pinned Dalton after a top rope elbowdrop at 10:35 **Zoltan enjoyed teaming with Khan so much last week they came back for an encore. Still no sign of Manny Silva.
Bout #4 Stacey Lynn & Chris Lydon defeated Christi Wolf & Sheona Stewart by pinfall when Lynn pinned Stewart after a fallaway slam at 7:59 **Stewart was the weak link in the bout. Wolf though served notice to her opponents that she was a force to be reckoned with by tossing them both out of the ring after the bout.
Bout #5 Shane Madison defeated Chris Parys by pinfall after an Ace crusher at 9:04 **match could have gone either way but after a spirited affair Madison proved the better man tonight. After the bout DiCaprio and Damon came out to celebrate with Madison but be seemed to be more interested in showing them that he won on his own.
RCW Rage - One Hour Episode
Bout #6 North American Women's Title Match Jessica Judd defeated TrummerFrauen by pinfall after outside interference at 8:53 [Jessica Judd won the North American Women's Title] **a shocker for sure but it took some work. Sure JJ had her moments, using a stick and run attack but still it was fighting uphill and a title change did not look in the works. But Becky Swallows came out and grabbed the guitar. Judd left the ring to struggle with Becky over the guitar. In the meantime, with the ref distracted Christi Wolf came out, slid in the ring with a steel chair and ~waffled~ the big champion from behind. Judd and Becky promptly quit struggling and Judd rolled into the ring and won the belt. Wolf and Becky just nodded at her and left, they did not stick around.
Bout #7 RCW Television Title Match Stan Baker defeated Wavell Starr by pinfall after a heart punch at 7:02 [Stan Baker retained the RCW Television Title] **Starr put up a decent fight in this return bout but Baker has had quite an impressive run as TV champion beating all comers.
Main Event RCW Heavyweight Title Match Sam Holiday defeated Derrick Darkstorm by pinfall after a top rope legdrop at 10:38 [Sam Holiday retained the RCW Heavyweight Title] **with Vampiro vanquished and a battle royale on the horizon for next week to determine a new #1 contender, the promoters brought in for another match the Central States Heavyweight champion who we have seen before. Long and lanky he fights an odd style of getting in close and keeping his opponent close but upright. Holiday found it hard to get space but once he did he managed to come up with the victory. The CSW title was not on the line this week, but it will be next week when Holiday travels to Topeka Kansas to once again take on Darkstorm in a CSW event.

Dark Matches Before RAGE
Tonight's Rage will be a complete 28-man Battle Draw with the winner becoming the #1 contender for the Heavyweight title, and getting a title shot next week. There will be two groupings, A & B. The B's will be drawn first, once they are done the A's will be drawn. Draws are random of course. One new wrestler will join the Battle every minute. In order to qualify as an "A" you must win your random tag match in tonight's dark matches. These tag matches have been set by Commissioner Greg Gagne based partially on fan input on the RCW Official Message Board.
Of note not competing tonight are; Heavyweight champ Sam Holiday (he is in Topeka Kansas wrestling CSW champion Derrick Darkstorm), Vincent Regliatti (trainer Vic Gate has pulled his man from this competition so he can focus on his singles training), and Manny Silva (no one has heard from him in several weeks).
Opening Bout Dick Raines & Richard Pound defeated William Yeats & Stan Saxon by pinfall when Pound pinned Yeats after a stuffed piledriver at 6:49 **Yeats has kind of been an ally and friend to Raines/Pound but had to put that aside tonight.
Bout #2 Squeegee Kid & Zakk Wylde defeated Rawhide Kid & Gene Swan by disqualification for use of a foreign object at 5:10 **premiere of Gene Swan, a veteran Native Canadian 6'0 225. Swan and Rawhide could not keep up with the speed of their challengers and both decided to return to the ring with chairs and lay out their opponents. So they may have lost but they weakened Squeegee and Wylde for the Battle Draw.
Bout #3 Canadian Outlaws: Adam Knight & Darren Dalton defeated Matt Fairlane & Ryan Price by pinfall when Dalton pinned Fairlane after a powerbomb at 8:20 **filler
Bout #4 Scotty Anton & Greg Pawluk defeated Wavell Starr & Eddie Mustang by submission when Anton submitted Mustang to the sharpshooter at 10:43 **premiere of Scotty Anton (aka Scotty Riggs), and the best bout of the night so far with two baby faced teams squaring off. It wasn't really apparent though whether Anton was wrestling as a face, maybe more of a tweener with a big ego. Anton didn't celebrate with his partner after the bout, just raising his own hand in the air and then leaving the ring.
Bout #5 Shane Madison & Chris Parys defeated Will Damon & Donnie DiCaprio by pinfall when Parys pinned DiCaprio after a Parysault at 11:05 **another very good match between four young skilled workers. The story here of course is the slow breakaway of Madison from the Players Club. Damon and DiCaprio tried to get him to take a dive, or to allow them to double team Parys, but he would have none of it, insisting on a fair fight. After the bout more heated words were exchanged between PC teammates but nothing physical.
Bout #6 Spinebusters: Jerry Orth & Bryan Caruthers defeated Al Hardamann & Stan Baker by pinfall when Caruthers pinned Hardamann after a spinebuster slam at 9:10 **the former tag champs came out on top, but were pushed heavily by the duo of Baker and Hardamann who do not like each other to say the least. Only a higher seating in the Battle Draw kept the two from tearing each other apart. In the end while they did not turn on each other, they also didn't really help each other enough, as the Spinebusters were the better "team". After the bout though Baker and Hardamann got into a slug fest which was broken up by RCW officials but not until they had weakened each other further.
Bout #7 Non-Title Match Tiger Khan & Lord Zoltan defeated Kurrgan & Balls Mahoney by disqualification when Mahoney hit Zoltan with a steel chair at 10:03 **tag titles not on the line by Giant Balls. The match starts with some stalling and then the bad guys cheat, double team, and cheat more. They risk DQ throughout the bout but manage to just straddle that line. Finally Balls has had enough and loses it. He throws Zoltan out of the ring, grabs a steel chair and just starts to hammer on him with multiple chair shots. Zoltan does a stretcher job and its unsure whether he will be able to answer the bell for the Battle Draw.
RCW RAGE - One Hour Episode
Main Event #1 Contender - 28 Man Battle Draw 0:00 Al Hardamann 0:00 Stan Baker **this starts the event off with some serious fireworks as the "random" draw does not let us down. 1:00 Rawhide Kid 1:36 Rawhide Kid eliminated by Hardamann, Baker 2:00 Gene Swan 2:19 Gene Swan eliminated by Hardamann, Baker 3:00 Will Damon 4:00 Kurrgan **the next two draws did not work well as Hardamann and Baker temporarily teamed up to eliminate the interlopers so they could then battle each other again. They tried the same thing with Damon but he managed to hang on long enough for the next draw. Kurrgan drew in and that changed the dynamic to an everyman for himself battle. 5:00 Wavell Starr **the Native Son goes right at Damon 6:00 Stan Saxon 7:00 Eddie Mustang **seven men in the ring now and some serious fireworks 8:00 William Butler Yeats 8:11 Will Damon eliminated by Starr, Mustang 8:38 Stan Saxon eliminated by Kurrgan 9:00 Matt Fairlane 9:03 William Butler Yeats eliminated by Kurrgan 9:44 Matt Fairlane eliminated by Kurrgan 10:00 Balls Mahoney **as if Kurrgan wasn't dominating enough, having turned his attention to attacking Mustang and Starr while Hardamann and Baker were still fighting each other, his tag partner gets drawn in. But to everyone's surprise it's everyman for himself, as Mahoney attacks Kurrgan, and the two Native Sons also find themselves square off. 11:00 Ryan Price 11:35 Ryan Price eliminated by Mustang, Starr 12:00 Donnie DiCaprio 13:00 Chris Parys 14:00 Zakk Wylde **the ring is filling up again, as we now have 9 competitors. DiCaprio and Parys are going at each other with some serious heat, and strangely Hardamann and Baker find themselves forced to team up to defend against Kurrgan and Mahoney. But finally Hardamann turns on Baker, and helps eliminate him; only to have the tag champs turn on him. Baker hadn't been able to leave the ringside area yet so he and Hardamann brawled outside the ring after their eliminations as well. Longest run competitor is now Kurrgan who entered at the 4 minute mark. 14:25 Stan Baker eliminated by Kurrgan, Mahoney, Hardamann 14:33 Al Hardamann eliminated by Kurrgan, Mahoney 15:00 Bryan Caruthers 16:00 Greg Pawluk 16:01 Zakk Wylde eliminated by Mustang 17:00 Dick Raines 18:00 Tiger Khan 18:23 Eddie Mustang eliminated by Khan, Raines 19:00 Jerry Orth **we now had 10 competitors in the ring, and the Spinebusters just drew in together 19:56 Wavell Starr eliminated by Orth, Caruthers 20:00 Scotty Anton **Anton drew a nice ovation, but he went over and attacked his partner from earlier in the night and threw him over the top rope. Then we had our first big surprise moment when Spinebusters teamed up to eliminate Mahoney. 20:12 Greg Pawluk eliminated by Anton 20:34 Balls Mahoney eliminated by Orth, Caruthers 21:00 Shane Madison **the fans were eager to see what Madison would do as Parys and DiCaprio were still going at each other. Well it sorted out that he was still a member of the Players Club as he helped DiCaprio against Parys, although no elimination occurred. However, the Spinebusters recruited everyone else to help them team up on Kurrgan, and after they managed to eliminate the giant Acadian, the Busters promptly turned on their helpers. 21:43 Kurrgan eliminated by Orth, Caruthers, Raines, Khan, Anton 22:00 Squeegee Kid 22:03 Tiger Khan eliminated by Orth 22:05 Dick Raines eliminated by Caruthers 22:39 Chris Parys eliminated by Anton 23:00 Richard Pound 24:00 Adam Knight 25:00 Lord Zoltan 26:00 Darren Dalton **a lot of lower level wrestlers getting the later draws, making this interesting with a possible upset in the making. The Canadian Outlaws Knight & Dalton drew late and teaming together were a force to be reckoned with. For his part Zoltan drew in second last but was obviously banged up from earlier in the night. He had a pair of brass knuckles hidden in his trunks and managed to use them to nail Squeegee Kid and than Donnie DiCaprio when each made the mistake of getting too close. Unable to take that anymore, officials Buddy Lane and Jennifer Greaves reached into the ring, pulled Zoltan down by the feet, dragged him out of the ring, took the brass knux away and ordered him back into the ring; he was eliminated seconds later. Also of note was that after Zoltan knocked out DiCaprio with the knux, his PC teammate Madison thought nothing of eliminating him. 26:31 Squeegee Kid eliminated by Knight, Dalton 27:12 Donnie DiCaprio eliminated by Madison 27:55 Lord Zoltan eliminated by Anton **we were now down to The Spinebusters: Orth & Caruthers, Anton, Madison, Pound, Knight and Dalton. Anton and Madison temporarily teamed up to go after the Busters while Knight and Dalton double teamed Pound. 28:40 Richard Pound eliminated by Knight, Dalton **sensing the former tag champs could be trouble everyone teamed up on them temporarily 30:17 Jerry Orth eliminated by Madison, Anton **down to Caruthers, Anton, Madison, Knight, Dalton 32:50 Darren Dalton eliminated by Madison, Anton 33:16 Bryan Caruthers eliminated by Knight 33:38 Adam Knight eliminated by Madison, Anton **down to our two final competitors, the newcomer Scotty Anton and the reaffirmed member of the Players Club Shane Madison. Solid battle between these two. In the end Madison charged Anton too early and did the Ric Flair flop in the corner but landed on the apron. Madison was able to vault himself back into the ring while Anton celebrated erroneously, nail Anton with two straight German suplexes and then drop kick him over the top rope. 38:04 Scotty Anton eliminated by Madison [Shane Madison wins a 28-Man Battle Draw at 38:04] FADE TO BLACK

Dark Matches Before RAGE
Opening Bout Vincent Regliatti (/w Vic Gate) defeated Stan Saxon by pinfall after a Northern lights suplex at 8:52 **the instruction from trainer Gate continues, and twice he got Regs to leave the bout and give up his advantage to get pointers. He also instructed him on what finisher to use.
In a post match interview Regliatti said he was frustrated at times with the old fashioned training of Gate, but then again he was also frustrated at his losing streak prior to this. He gives his coach a vote of confidence but says he is ready for stiffer competition and to move up from being in the opener since he is a former Heavyweight champion. Gate annoys him by pointing out "former" champion and saying he needs to continue to work on his fundamentals.
Bout #2 "Pistol" Greg Pawluk defeated Will Damon by pinfall after a missile dropkick at 6:06 **real solid win for Pawluk.
Bout #3 Scotty Anton defeated Eddie Mustang by submission to the sharpshooter at 7:48 **any thoughts that Anton was going to wrestle as a fan favourite was put to rest. After the bout he refused to release his hold, risking DQ, and then reapplied it until Wavell Starr came out to make the save.
Bout #4 Donnie DiCaprio defeated Chris Parys by pinfall after a tornado DDT (and his feet on the ropes) at 9:25 **DiCaprio picks up a tainted victory but that didn't stop him from celebrating like he won the Super Bowl, including doing the "King of the World" pose in the corner. He was joined by Will Damon and Shane Madison in the ring, but while Damon celebrated too, Madison just kind of hung out.
Interview: New women's champion Jessica Judd comes to the ring with her guitar. Joe Aiello also calls out Becky Swallows and Christi Wolf who helped run the ruse two weeks ago to allow Judd to win the title from the dominant TrummerFrauen. JJ says she enlisted the help of these two because it wasn't fair that they all had to compete against a "man". Aiello protests that characterization of the big German, but Judd says we'll never know because the former champ has left the territory. Aiello informs the fans that indeed TrummerFrauen decided to leave the territory instead of pursuing her automatic rematch because she felt that RCW was corrupt, and that they should have overturned the result and given her back the belt. Wolf though grabs the mic and says just to be clear, they are not friends, and that she considers Judd to be a lamb being led to the slaughter, as opposed to TrummerFrauen who would be another wolf. Then from the back comes Stacey Lynn and her friend Chris Lydon. Lynn is really upset. She says for months she has been trying to get them all to work together to topple the champ exactly like this, but they would never go for it. Now suddenly they hatch this plan without her? Judd says the tipping point was when Lynn started to amass an army (Lydon), but don't worry because now its every woman for herself, except for Lynn and Lydon who seem to be scissor buddies. This starts a five girl confrontation and we are told that there was a tag match scheduled for after the interview and that will happen next.
Bout #5 Stacey Lynn & Chris Lydon defeated Christ Wolf & Becky Swallows by pinfall when Lydon pinned Swallows after a cradle piledriver at 8:35 **deja vu all over again for Wolf, last time facing these two with Sheona Stewart, now with Becky being the weak link. Once again after the bout Wolf tossed both her opponents out of the ring, but this time she also laid the boots to Becky and gave her a tombstone piledriver for good measure.
RCW RAGE - One Hour Episode
Bout #6 RCW Tag Team Title Match Giant Balls: Kurrgan & Balls Mahoney defeated Tiger Khan & Lord Zoltan by countout when Zoltan was counted out at 7:44 [Giant Balls retained the RCW Tag Team Titles] **Rematch from last week when the champs lost by DQ in a non-title bout. The challengers were in tough, and this time the champs had to put up with their stalls and cheats as the titles were on the line. However, the challengers were out matched and Zoltan after being punished by both opponents came up lame outside the ring and took the countout feigning a wonky knee. They tried to sneak attack the champs after the bout but were both nailed with the tag belts to the head.
Bout #7 RCW Television Title Match Stan Baker defeated Al Hardamann by disqualification for abuse of official at 10:20 [Stan Baker retained the RCW Television Title] **so the long and short of this episode of the feud was that Hardamann was so frustrated with the cheating of Baker, that he lost it and when referee Shiela Bloom tried to step between the grapplers, he tossed her aside, sending her clear out of the ring. He managed to decimate Baker with a superplex, and a vertebreaker but instead of victory he got disqualified.
Main Event RCW Heavyweight Title Match Sam Holiday defeated Shane Madison by disqualification for outside interference at 8:11 [Sam Holiday retained the RCW Heavyweight Title] **Madison gets the title shot he won in last week's Battle Draw. Holiday started strong but Madison moved out of the way of a charge and Holiday wrecked his shoulder into the ring post. Madison then worked over the champ focusing on the shoulder. However he could not get the champ pinned or to submit to an STF or a crossface. Holiday made a spirited comeback with a trio of atomic drops followed by a leaping bulldog. He then nailed a double arm underhook bomb, and went to the top. Will Damon and Donnie DiCaprio came to the ring and knocked the champ off the top rope to get their Players Club teammate disqualified.
Post-Match: The Players Club beat on the champ (at least Damon and DiCaprio did as Madison was still recovering). Al Hardamann came from the back but he was having problems too, and then Chris Parys showed up and all the Players Club decided to call it a night. Madison was unsure what happened, and as the three of them left for the back the announcement was made of a loss for DQ, and Madison stopped in his tracks. He returned to the announce table to find out what had occurred, and then went back to confront the PC but they had already taken off for the showers.

Dark Matches Before Rage
Opening Bout Eddie Mustang defeated Rawhide Kid by pinfall after a diving cross bodyblock at 7:13 **filler
Bout #2 Chris Lydon defeated Sheona Stewart by pinfall after a cradle piledriver at 5:23 **glorified squash match
Bout #3 Vincent Regliatti (/w Vic Gate) defeated Greg Pawluk by pinfall after a double underhook suplex (and a handful of tights) at 9:31 **Finally Regs got the challenge he wanted, and more. Pawluk made a big comeback and took it to Regliatti. And when the Torontonian resorted to fisticuffs he was chastised by his trainer Gate, who he then engaged with in a shouting match. Back inside the ring Pawluk continued to pour on the offense, but when he went for a dropkick Regs held onto the top rope. He then nailed a snap suplex, a double underhook suplex but cheated with a handful of tights. After the bout Gate was not happy with Regs, Pawluk was not happy with Regs, but Regs was happy with Regs and that is all that seemed to matter to him.
Bout #4 Wavell Starr and Scotty Anton battled to a double countout at 10:08 **Anton seemed to hold his opponent in disdain and probably underestimate him. In the end nothing was settled as the two brawled into the crowd.
Bout #5 North American Women's Title Match Triangle Match Jessica Judd defeated Christi Wolf and Becky Swallows by pinfall when Judd pinned Swallows after a swinging neckbreaker at 8:11 [Jessica Judd retained the North American Women's Title] **Judd granted a title shot to both of her helpers. Wolf looked very strong but that put a target on her back. In the end the other two threw Wolf over the top rope. Judd tried to kick Swallows in the gut, Swallows caught her foot but the champ nailed her with an enzuigiri. Judd followed up with her finisher and kept her title.
RCW RAGE - One Hour Episode
Bout #6 Mini-Tag Battle Royal: Adam Knight & Darren Dalton v Matt Fairlane & Ryan Price v Jerry Orth & Bryan Caruthers v Dick Raines & Richard Pound v Squeegee Kid & Zakk Wylde **Once one man was eliminated both teammates were out. [Fairlane eliminated by Pound] [Dalton eliminated by Raines/Pound] [Raines eliminated by Orth/Caruthers] [Wylde eliminated by Caruthers] [Spinebusters: Jerry Orth & Bryan Caruthers won a 5 team mini battle royal at 9:40]
Bout #7 Tiger Khan (/w Lord Zoltan) defeated Balls Mahoney by pinfall after a Tiger Driver at 11:03 **if Khan won then he and Zoltan would get another tag title shot. Zoltan distracted Mahoney just at the right time to allow Khan to nail him from behind, and a minute later hit his finisher and pick up the win.
Pre-Match: Commissioner Greg Gagne says that in light of the actions of Al Hardamann last week, throwing referee Shiela Bloom out of the ring, he is being fined and suspended this week. Originally the main event coming up was going to be a six-man tag match but Hardamann has been removed so the Players Club will also have to go with only two members. However, given the PC penchant for interfering, although suspended from in ring action, Al Hardamann will be allowed at ringside and will be standing right next to the 3rd PC member.
Main Event Sam Holiday & Chris Parys (/w Al Hardamann) defeated Will Damon & Donnie DiCaprio (/w Shane Madison) by pinfall when Holiday pinned Damon after a top rope legdrop at 10:02 **the real drama of this bout happened outside the ring where contention between Hardamann and Madison calmed down into an earnest talk, and even a few chuckles. Linley Tolbert said they looked to be getting on famously. This seemed to distract Damon and DiCaprio who even left the ring a couple times to try and get Madison to help them more. The PC were already overmatched in this one by the heavyweight champion, who for his part still had words with Shane Madison who he wrestled last week. The end was fairly pedestrian with Madison not trying to effect the outcome from outside the ring.

Dark Matches before RAGE
Opening Bout Will Damon defeated Eddie Mustang by pinfall after a victory roll at 8:34 **decent opener, looked like Mustang was on his way to a win, but Damon ducked away from a charge, Mustang crashed hard into the buckle, and Damon rolled him up for the win.
Bout #2 Chris Parys defeated Donnie DiCaprio by pinfall after a Parysault at 6:40 **Parys gets another victory over the Players Club.
Bout #3 Dick Raines & Richard Pound defeated Squeegee Kid & Zakk Wylde by pinfall when Pound pinned Wylde after a stuffed piledriver at 7:37 **filler
Bout #4 Christi Wolf defeated Chris Lydon by pinfall after a cradle piledriver at 5:56 **pecking order bout, both are raw talents, both very physical fit. Wolf was simply too powerful and Lydon did not yet have enough tools in the toolbox to pull out a win.
Bout #5 Scotty Anton defeated Wavell Starr by submission to the Clap (sharpshooter) at 12:46 **this was a really good bout, with a combination of fast pace with power moves, and some brawling outside the ring. Starr gave as good as he got and this really seemed like it could go either way. The end came when Starr was going to go for his flying axhandle but Anton countered by getting off first with a spear. He followed up with a pair of backbreakers, and then put on his version of the sharpshooter to get the win.
RCW RAGE - One Hour Episode
Bout #6 RCW Television Title Match Stan Baker defeated Greg Pawluk by pinfall after a heart punch at 9:33 [Stan Baker retained the RCW Television Title] **Another good showing by an opponent comes up short against Baker. The big man has really put a claim on his TV title.
Bout #7 RCW Tag Team Title Match Giant Balls: Kurrgan & Balls Mahoney defeated Tiger Khan & Lord Zoltan by pinfall when Kurrgan pinned Zoltan after a chokeslam at 7:53 [Giant Balls retained the RCW Tag Team Titles] **When they couldn't cheat enough to win the challengers had very little else to offer in this bout.
Main Event RCW Heavyweight Title Match Special Enforcer - Al Hardamann Sam Holiday defeated Shane Madison by pinfall after a top rope legdrop at 10:12 [Sam Holiday retained the RCW Heavyweight Title] **Madison had some good moments, and was trying to wrestle an honourable and fair fight, even though he had some heat with Holiday from previous weeks. Al Hardamann was outside the ring with an axhandle patrolling to keep the Players Club from interfering. Will Damon and Donnie DiCaprio did come out at one point to test Hardamann, and got nowhere so retreated, but that distraction did allow Madison to turn things around. Madison was in trouble later in the bout and Stan Baker came down to ringside to get a piece of Hardamann, as these two have had a history of heat. It was a distraction though as Damon and DiCaprio also came down to ringside, and soon so did Chris Parys to even things out a bit. Holiday was distracted inside the ring and Madison could have tried to attack him from behind but did nothing. Instead Holiday and Madison both left the ring to try and get everyone to go back to the dressing room. Baker though threw a punch at Hardamann and all hell broke loose. The Players Club were all over the champion, but Madison grabbed Damon while Parys grabbed DiCaprio, and fisticuffs ensued. It was official that Madison is now at odds with the Players Club. Things sorted outside the ring wth Baker leaving, and Parys and Hardamann fighting the Players Club to the back. Inside the ring the two contestants picked up the pace. Madison telegraphed a back body drop and Holiday took advantage. Face slam, side suplex, neckbreaker, and then his finisher. Good showing by Madison but not enough.

Dark Matches Before RAGE
Opening Bout Wavell Starr & Eddie Mustang defeated Gene Swan & Kwan Chang by pinfall when Starr pinned Swan after a flying axhandle at 6:38 **filler
Bout #2 Adam Knight & Darren Dalton defeated Matt Fairlane & Ryan Price by pinfall when Dalton pinned Price after a powerbomb at 7:59 **more filler
Bout #3 Stacey Lynn defeated Becky Swallows by pinfall after a springboard clothesline at 4:47 **the announcers seemed to sell that this made Lynn the #1 contender for the women's title
Pre-Match: Vic Gate told his trainee Vincent Regliatti that two weeks ago he had to cheat to defeat Greg Pawluk. Regs is very upset about this saying he won the bout, but Pawluk was still given a TV title shot last week where he got embarrassed by Stan Baker. Regs reminds everyone that he is a former Heavyweight champion and that he would not have squandered his title shot. Gate says that shortcuts catch up to you when the going gets tough, and so if Regs wants to get a title shot again he needs to beat Pawluk fair and square.
Bout #4 Greg Pawluk defeated Vincent Regliatti (/w Vic Gate) by disqualification for abuse of official at 9:04 **Fisticuffs to start, then a round of chain wrestling, then Pawluk got Regs in a sharpshooter which he escaped, and a minute later he had Pawluk in the figure-four which was broken by reaching the ropes. After some more back and forth Regs nailed a slingshot suplex, covered, 1, put his feet on the ropes...Vic Gate pushed his feet off the ropes, 2, kickout. Regs argued with his trainer, and was attacked from behind by Pawluk. Two German suplexes, cover, 1, 2, kickout. Pawluk went for another German suplex but Regs held onto the ref Jennifer Greaves and Pawluk ended up taking them both over in an awkward pile. Greaves called for the bell and the DQ.
Post-Match: Even Vic Gate complained to the ref about the DQ, saying it was just instinct and shouldn't have been a DQ. But Regs turned his anger on Gate attacking his manager from behind. When Pawluk tried to intervene he clipped his knee and then stomped away at it. Gate tried again but Regs tossed him over the top rope. RCW officials swarmed the ring to break up the attack.
Bout #5 North American Women's Title Match Jessica Judd defeated Christi Wolf by pinfall after a swinging neckbreaker at 6:50 [Jessica Judd retained the North American Women's Title] **Wolf dominated most of the bout with her strength but Judd used old wrestling tricks including rope breaks, hair pulls, leaving the ring for a time out etc. Eventually Judd got a couple shots in to the throat, worked a front chancery into a chokehold, then switched gears and hit her version of the shake, rattle, and roll.
RCW RAGE - One Hour Episode
Bout #6 Will Damon & Donnie DiCaprio defeated Chris Parys & Shane Madison by pinfall when DiCaprio pinned Parys after a superplex at 7:11 **grudge match with Madison having turned on the Players Club. The PC though won this round when Parys went to the top, but Damon came over and knocked him off his feet, causing him to crotch himself on the top buckle. Damon then held Parys up on the buckle until DiCaprio could come over and nail the superplex for the win.
Bout #7 Stipulation: If Caruthers wins the Spinebusters Get another Tag Title Shot Bryan Caruthers (/w Jerry Orth) defeated Kurrgan (/w Balls Mahoney) by countout at 8:14 **Caruthers started the bout by going right after the knee of Kurrgan. Every time he had an advantage he would go after the knee. And whenever Kurrgan grabbed an advantage Orth would do something or Caruthers would stall outside the ring until Mahoney threw him back in. As the match progressed you could see the mobility of Kurrgan slow down. At one point Kurrgan chokeslammed Caruthers to the mat but Orth grabbed him and pulled him out of the ring. Eventually Orth was able to lower the top strand, spilling Kurrgan to the ground. He laid in a couple boots to the knee and Kurrgan was unable to beat the 10 count back. Mahoney tried to help Kurrgan but was not able to get by Orth in time.
Main Event Fatal 4 Way - Both Heavyweight and TV Title on the line Sam Holiday defeated Al Hardamann, Stan Baker, and Scotty Anton by pinfall when Holiday pinned Anton after a top rope legdrop at 9:39 [Sam Holiday retained the RCW Heavyweight Title] [Stan Baker retained the RCW Television Title] **interesting stipulation in this one fall bout as if Holiday or Baker were on the losing end of a fall they would lose their title to whomever pinned them or made them submit. Lots of little bits of strategy going on. Holiday and Hardamann for the most part were able to keep their friendship in tact, wrestling hard but fair against each other but also watching each other's backs. At one point Hardamann nailed Anton with the vertebreaker pinned him got, 1,2 picked him up realizing he may win the bout that way but no title. Baker and Hardamann had the most vicious exchanges as those two continue to feud. The end came when Hardamann blocked a heart punch, took Baker down with a reverse Russian legsweep, and then nailed the vertebreaker. He went for the pin, but referee Buddy Lane was already counting as Holiday and nailed Anton with a pair of running clotheslines then hit his finisher. Holiday was faster to the draw and picked up the win. Hardamann looked discouraged after the bout but he and Holiday shook hands and left together.

Dark Matches before RAGE
Opening Bout Matt Fairlane defeated Gene Swan by pinfall after a blockbuster at 4:56 **battle of the curtain jerkers
Bout #2 Scotty Anton defeated Squeegee Kid by submission to The Clap (sharpshooter) at 6:54 **Anton was down the card after losing in last week's 4-way main event, and he wasn't happy about it. His intensity and brutality level were higher than we have seen and he risked a reverse decision by not breaking the hold after the bell.
Bout #3 Wavell Starr & Eddie Mustang defeated Adam Knight & Darren Dalton by pinfall when Starr pinned Dalton after a flying axhandle at 7:38 **both these teams won tag bouts last week, and both are fan favourites (although the Native Sons are more traditional faces while the Canadian Outlaws are more like tweeners). Also of note in this bout was that the man we saw earlier lose Gene Swan, who is a veteran and a good 10-15 years older than Starr/Mustang, came out in full Native regalia including some sort of smoking incense like device spreading smoke around ringside. It proved a distraction to both teams, and Swan was gently guided away from ringside by security.
Bout #4 Greg Pawluk and Kwan Chang battled to a no-contest at 5:05 **Pawluk controlled almost the entire bout. He had Chang in the sharpshooter when he was attacked by Scotty Anton. Anton not only attacked Pawluk, using a chair on his lower back, but he then put him in the sharpshooter. The announcers remind us that Anton had used the same move earlier in the night, and both have been using it the past month or so since Anton came into RCW, so they presumed that was the reason for the attack. Security is having a busy night tonight and had to come in and break this one up.
Bout #5 North American Women's Title Match Stacey Lynn (/w Chris Lydon) defeated Jessica Judd by disqualification when Judd hit Lynn with her guitar at 6:41 [Jessica Judd retained the North American Women's Title] **Lynn was impressive in this bout, and having her friend Lydon help her out from the corner was just that small advantage that seemed like it might make the difference. However, when the two were fighting outside the ring Lydon got involved as well. This brought out Becky Swallows who went after Lydon, and Judd grabbed her guitar and ~waffled~ Lynn to get disqualified.
RCW RAGE - One Hour Episode
Bout #6 Vincent Regliatti defeated Vic Gate by referee stoppage at 6:10 **the trainer wanted to step back into the ring against his protege to get revenge for last week's attack. Gate had his moments and showed he still had his timing and his ground game. But what Regs had was the ability to throw Gate knee first into the steel steps, and then put him in a figure-four around the ringpost outside the ring. Referee Shiela Bloom had seen enough as Gate lost consciousness and called the bout over as Gate was unable to continue.
Bout #7 RCW Television Title Match Al Hardamann defeated Stan Baker by disqualification for use of a foreign object at 9:21 [Stan Baker retained the RCW Television Title] **these two started to brawl before the match could even be started. It went back and forth, in and out of the arena. Baker managed to squirm his way out of a vertebreaker attempt and nail him with a clothesline. Likewise Hardamann was able to block a heart punch attempt. The match spilled outside one more time, and this time when it went back inside Baker brought the ring bell with him and used it to clock Hardamann. He then came off the second buckle with the the bell on an already busted open Hardamann. Starr, Mustang, and Fairlane came out to make the save. Hardamann did the stretcher job. Two title matches tonight that end by intentional DQ to save their belts.
Main Event RCW Tag Team Title Match The Spinebusters: Jerry Orth & Bryan Caruthers defeated Giant Balls: Kurrgan & Balls Mahoney by pinfall when Caruthers pinned Kurrgan after a spiked piledriver at 11:20 [Spinebusters win the RCW Tag Team Titles] **As good of a match as you are going to get with Kurrgan involved. Instead of shying away from the Acadian Giant, the former champs went right after his knee, the same one that Caruthers worked last week. This limited his mobility and in a change of pace he was the one isolated. Of course the champs made a couple comebacks, and the 'Busters survived by breaking up two certain pinfalls. Finally while the ref was distracted with Balls fighting Orth, Caruthers got a steel chair and was able to blast Kurrgan, once in the knee, and then once in the head. They then nailed the double team move to pick up the win after Orth had sent Mahoney hard into the ring post. NEW CHAMPS!! The Spinebusters begin their 3rd title reign (the 77th in the tag title lineage) by beating the team they had lost to back on August 19th.

River City Wrestling #855 October 21, 2000 Grand Forks, North Dakota
Dark Matches Before RAGE
Pre-Match: Vincent Regliatti came to the ring. Instead of showing remorse for having attacked his trainer Vic Gate last week he only is mad at himself for not putting him in the hospital longer. He says that at least Gate is still able to do his job; taking down the ring, booking hotels, raking the leaves of Larkin's home, cleaning his gutters. He says that he learned that this is not 1985 anymore and that wrestling has evolved into an every man for himself, get it while you can, however you can business. He says that he is aiming to take back his Heavyweight title. In the meantime if there is anyone in the back who wants to come face him and be another notch in his belt, bring it. The fans were flabbergasted when Spike Dudley appeared for the first time in RCW running to the ring.
Opening Bout Spike Dudley defeated Vincent Regliatti by pinfall after an acid drop at 4:11 **Vincent Regliatti did not look the least bit worried when the runt hit the ring and went right after him, smashing Spike's head off several turnbuckles. Spike though ducked under a clothesline, did some somersaults to evade then nailed an airplane spin into a samoan drop. The two exchanged fisticuffs which favoured Regs but Spike battled back with a kick to the gut and a tornado DDT. A neckbreaker then set up a Frankensteiner for a 2 count, then Spike nailed his finisher and picked up a very quick win by RCW standards. There was no actual mention of what Dudley was doing here tonight or whether he would be back.
Pre-Match: Very unusual for RCW to have two pre-match promos like this on a dark show. Gene Swan was scheduled to face Eddie Mustang, and Swan came out with full headress and other traditional Native attire. He took a mic and talked about running buffalos, and medicine men, and fates where the Red and the Assiniboine meet. He says that Mustang and Starr will not win the Tag Belts against the Spinebusters unless they start to pay respect and homage to their heritage. Eddie Mustang came to the ring dressed in a cut off sleeve jean jacket, and Wavell Starr is in a leather jacket; neither wears traditional Native attire. Mustang gets on the mic and tells Swan that the headresses and war dances done by such trailblazers as Chief Jay Strongbow and Wahoo McDaniel were nothing but a cheap gimmick. He talks about going to the reserves whenever they are in town and talking to the youth to try and keep them on the straight and narrow, and that is how to make a difference. Swan laughs and says that is exactly what the forces in power want them to do, to keep everyone on the straight and narrow. Swan calls Mustang and Starr puppets. Mustang goes to attack Swan but is held back by his partner until the bell can sound.
Bout #2 Eddie Mustang defeated Gene Swan by pinfall after a springboard bulldog at 3:27 **An even shorter bout than the first one, dominated completely by Mustang. Swan had one advantage for about 30 seconds after a chop to the throat, and then he choked Mustang over the middle strand. Other than that it was all Mustang. Flying headscissors set up the finisher. After the bout Mustang gave Swan an extra scoop slam followed by a boot rake, before his partner Wavell Starr could back him away from Swan.
Bout #3 Will Damon defeated Chris Parys by pinfall after a brainbuster at 7:33 **Another episode of Players Club vs Parys et al. This time won by the PC.
Bout #4 Shane Madison defeated Donnie DiCaprio by pinfall after a Kamikaze at 6:20 **Another episode of Players Club vs Parys et al, this time Madison picks up the win against his former mates.
Bout #5 Greg Pawluk defeated Scotty Anton by disqualification for not following referee instructions at 8:55 **really good Stampede style match, with a bit of ECW thrown in (really that makes it an RCW style bout). Pawluk is looking for revenge after being attacked unprovoked last week by Anton, apparently for using his move The Clap (sharpshooter), although Pawluk had been using that move in RCW before Anton's arrival. They did not stop to discuss the particulars however and went after each other before the opening bell. Pawluk controlled early and switched his focus to the lower back of Anton. Then he locked on the sharpshooter. Too close to the ropes though and Anton got the rope break. Anton was then able to grab Pawluk by the tights and throw him out of the ring. He thwarted several attempts by Pawluk to get back into the ring before Pawluk dragged Anton out. We had a brawl around ringside. Back inside Anton took control and did the same thing Pawluk did, targeting the lower back. The match went in and out of the ring a couple more times, and Anton hit a beautiful head tope to really grab the advantage. Back inside Anton nailed a couple backbreakers, holding Pawluk over his knee for several seconds, a fisherman's suplex, a flying crossbody, and then locked on the sharpshooter. Pawluk was able to reach the ropes. Anton released the hold but almost immediately had it locked in again (his version he calls the Clap). Again Pawluk was able to reach the ropes but this time Anton was not willing to break the hold. Referee Buddy Lane finally had to pull Anton off but he went to put the hold back on. RCW officials swarmed the ring though and were able to pull Anton off again and separate him.
Post-Match: Boy it seems like everyone wants to talk tonight. Anton goes by the announcers table and in case we hadn't figured it out yet he tells Pawluk that no indy wannabe is going to steal his finishing move. Anyone, Pawluk, or anyone who uses the Clap is going to get a beatdown just like that.
RCW RAGE - One Hour Episode
Bout #6 North American Women's Title Match Stacey Lynn (/w Chris Lydon) defeated Jessica Judd (/w Becky Swallows) by pinfall after a guitar shot at 7:32 [Stacey Lynn wins the North American Women's Title] **long story short, lots of animosity between all four women. In the end there was a ref bump on Shiela Bloom which was actually caused by the non-participants outside the ring. This allowed Lynn to grab Judd's guitar from the announce table and ~waffle~ the champ. She rolled her back inside, and less than a minute later with a revived ref to make the count she was the new champ. This is Stacey's first title reign, and the 69th reign in title lineage. Jessica held the belt for less than two months. This is also the 8th straight title reign where it is the woman's first title reign, the last repeat champion being Madusa's 4th title reign which ended Dec 13/97.
Bout #7 RCW Tag Team Title Match The Spinebusters: Jerry Orth & Bryan Caruthers defeated Giant Balls: Kurrgan & Balls Mahoney by pinfall when Orth pinned Mahoney after a top rope kneedrop at 8:46 [Spinebusters retained the RCW Tag Team Titles] **this was the return bout for Giant Balls after having dropped the belts. It looks like the run of Giant Balls is over as they lost fairly clean to a clearly better team.
Pre-Match Interview: Champion Sam Holiday comes down with his friend Al Hardamann who had done the stretcher job last week against Stan Baker. Holiday is looking for some revenge for his friend against Baker tonight and is putting up his title in a champion vs champion bout. Al Hardamann says he has a concussion and will likely be out for about a month but it's hard to tell for sure, and they are taking it day by day. He says he will try to behave himself at ringside but can't make any promises.
Main Event RCW Heavyweight Title Match Sam Holiday (/w Al Hardamann) defeated Stan Baker by disqualification for outside interference (Manny Silva) at 6:49 [Sam Holiday retained the RCW Heavyweight Title] **this could have been another big RCW champion vs champion match. RCW likes to give the secondary belt holder a title shot every couple months instead of keeping them separate. However, when Holiday brought out Hardamann to be his second that spelled something different than a clean finish. Baker went face to face with Hardamann before the bell, causing Holiday to go right after him. The bell rings and the fisticuffs and donnybrook began. This was not a technical wrestling match, but Hardamann did his best to stay out of the physical aspect of the bout. However at one point Baker took Holiday down with a powerbomb, covered, and got a 2 count. Instead of following up on it Baker left the ring and went after Hardamann. The two exchanged blows but Baker gave him a shot in the head that dropped him. Referee Buddy Lane, understanding the danger that Hardamann was in went out of the ring to try and get between him and Baker. Meanwhile inside the ring Manny Silva appeared from the back and attacked Holiday from behind. We have not seen Silva much at all the past couple months and reports were that the enigmatic mad man was taking some time off. Well tonight Silva was back and he was punking the Heavyweight champion while Buddy Lane tried his best to shield Hardamann from further attack by Baker, as we

Dark Matches Before RAGE
Opening Bout Gene Swan defeated Ryan Price by pinfall after an inside cradle (and a handful of sand to the face) at 3:00 **I guess this was a minor upset although both guys are curtain jerkers. Swan who had words with Starr/Mustang last week used a handful of sand to the face to aid his victory.
Bout #2 Chrome defeated Adam Knight by pinfall after a chokeslam at 5:10 **Chrome makes his impressive debut in RCW. He has a bit of a Terminator like gimmick going, part biker, part futuristic. Yes another big man who uses the chokeslam and powerbomb. But Chrome is HUGE coming in at 6'9 and 340 lbs. He has previously wrestled in Stampede as Cyborg, and in Puerto Rico as Pain. He made short work of Knight making the 6'5 295 pounder look small.
Bout #3 Vincent Regliatti defeated Spike Dudley by countout at 6:46 **rematch for Regs and he got his revenge. Dudley controlled early but Regs than went to the legs of Spike and slowed the match down. After an unsuccessful figure-four inside the ring he applied it twice outside the ring, having to break it both times to beat the 10 count back inside the ring. After the second time Spike's leg was too damaged and he couldn't make it back into the ring.
Post-Match:Regs went back after Dudley. Vic Gate came out to try and talk reason to his former protege only to have Regs punch him out. Spike was having problems getting his feet under him, but he crawled forward and headbutted the back of Regs leg, and then bit him. Regs though kicked him in the head and then went after the knee again. Next man out was actually Greg Pawluk in street clothes. Pawluk was hobbling from a bad back after being attacked by Scotty Anton last week, but between Gate, Dudley, and Pawluk they managed to do enough damage to get Regliatti to retreat to the dressing room.
Bout #4 Donnie DiCaprio & Will Damon defeated Chris Parys & Shane Madison by pinfall when DiCaprio pinned Madison after a twisting moonsault at 8:11 **Chris Parys turned on his partner Madison during this bout. There wasn't much to tip off that it would happen, but at the right time Parys dropped off the apron instead of making a tag. The Players Club finished off Madison after each taking their best shots.
Post-Match: Chris Parys joins the other two Players Club members in the ring laying the boots to Madison before RCW officials put a stop to it. The Players Club though stayed in the ring to explain that Parys had now joined the PC, ironically taking the place of the man he turned on Shane Madison. Parys says Madison may want to be a lone wolf, but in today's world you need a posse. He thanks Madison for making an opening for him in the coolest club going today.
Bout #5 Scotty Anton defeated Balls Mahoney by submission to the Clap at 11:34 **best bout of the night so far with two guys who have ECW experience. Anton got busted open about 5 minutes in, and it seemed to encourage him to pick up the intensity. Lots of action outside the ring including using foreign objects, but referee Buddy Lane allowed it probably because both men were participating with zeal. In the end Anton had weakened the back of Mahoney enough (including a top rope knee drop onto his back), to get the hardcore competitor to actually tap out to the finisher.
RCW RAGE - One Hour Episode
**We are back after a week off, last week we were pre-empted for syndicated Halloween programming**
Bout #6 North American Women's Title Match Stacey Lynn (/w Chris Lydon) and Jessica Judd (/w Becky Swallows) battled to a no-contest at 4:25 [Stacey Lynn retained the North American Women's Title] **This was Judd's automatic rematch after dropping the title two weeks ago. Lydon and Swallows got involved again and it turned into a clusterbout with no clear result.
Promo: River City Wrestling's biggest show of the year, the year end Anniversary Spectacular returns on Saturday, December 9th from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Commissioner Greg Gagne is in the ring. After the shenanigans of two weeks ago he has signed three matches for the Anniversary show. But first tonight, in the main event, Sam Holiday will be taking on Stan Baker, with the Heavyweight title on the line again. But tonight it will be one one one, inside a steel cage! The results of that match will help define the Anniversary show, but for now we have three main event calibre matches set. First, Manny Silva appeared from nowhere after being missing in action for weeks, and attacked Holiday like a coward. Silva is banned from RCW until the Anniversary show, but at the anniversary show he will have to fight the man he wronged Sam Holiday. If Holiday has the Heavyweight title on that day then it will be a title match. Second, the Stan Baker vs Al Hardamann feud has been a great one. In fact this year has seen 3 really great candidates for the year end feud of the year. The Vampiro - Nick Mercury feud was one, and this Baker - Hardamann was another. Hardamann has not yet been cleared to wrestle but it looks like he will be by December. So pending his clearance, Hardamann will fight Stan Baker (for the TV title if he still holds it, or the Heavyweight title if he wins it tonight). Third match signed will be the return of fan favourites The Road Warriors: Hawk & Animal. The monsters from Chicago are coming back to RCW for one reason and one reason only, to face the Spinebusters. The Busters - Warriors is definitely the third feud of the year candidate. Now if the busters still have the tag titles then it will be a title belt, but the Road Warriors have made it clear, titles or no-titles, they want the Spinebusters.
Bout #7 RCW Tag Team Title Match The Spinebusters: Jerry Orth & Bryan Caruthers defeated Native Sons: Wavell Starr & Eddie Mustang by pinfall when Caruthers pinned Mustang after a spinebuster slam at 8:22 [Spinebusters retained the RCW Tag Team Titles] **Not sure many people thought the Sons had a real chance to win the belts but they were fairly competitive throughout. Gene Swan came down to ringside wearing his headdress and making ceremonial smoke again. This distracted Mustang at a bad time, and got Starr involved. Referee Jennifer Greaves was putting Starr out of the ring which allowed a double team by the busters with a low blow by Orth setting up Caruthers' finisher.
Main Event CAGE MATCH RCW Heavyweight Title Match Sam Holiday defeated Stan Baker by pinfall after a top rope legdrop at 11:37 [Sam Holiday retained the RCW Heavyweight Title] **Hard fought and dirty bout, but no shenanigans, just two tough hombres going at it. Holiday got busted open hard way and then Baker raked his head several times across the cage wall to spread it around. Despite that Holiday kept getting stronger as the bout moved on, showing he is in better shape than Baker the TV champion. In the end Baker went for a slam, but Holiday floated over, drove Baker head first into the cage wall. A series of three elbowdrops, and a vertical suplex set up his finisher. Decisive victory for the champ.
