USWA Velocity January 4th, 2003 Charlotte, NC
Interview Taz thanks his team for the victory at Chaos
In the ring:
Lance Wright introduced the USWA Heavyweight champion of the world, TAZ!
[Taz comes out to a huge ovation]
Taz says that he's never one to make friends in this line of work. As the champion he is in it for himself at all times, but he knew when to take a look in the mirror and know when the odds are stacked up against him. Taz then tells the members of Team Taz that he thanks them for their help in dismantling the former faction known as New Europe.
(Music Hits and out come all the members...Konnan, New Jack, Morley, Johnson)
New Jack hits the ring and tells Taz that when he was sitting at home and watching Ulf Hermann and the New Europe get title shots and attempting to take the belt that HE HELD for almost 6 months, he knew it was time to get his ass back to the USWA. New Jack says team TAZ was a one night thing, nobody asked a favor from him, but today is a whole new day.
New Jack goes on to say that in this ring are four individuals that all deserve a shot at the heavyweight title, and they will all be coming for that title, but at the PPV coming up in a few weeks, I think it's about time good old NEW JACK gets the return match that he's been waiting four months for!
Taz tells Jack that he hasn't even been back with the company for over 2 weeks and he's out here looking for a shot at the world title? Taz thinks Konnan deserves the shot more than anyone else in this ring and that KONNAN will get the shot at New Years Revolution.
(New Jack and Taz have a stare down as Konnan tries to defuse the situation)
Konnan tells Taz that he respects the fact he feels he deserves the next shot at the strap, but he is still recovering from the battle in the cage and is not ready for a title shot. Konnan tells New Jack he will step aside from the offer, but in FEBRUARY when the USWA begins the west coast swing, he wants the winner of New Jack/Taz in his hometown in San Diego, CA!
New Jack says thats a good deal to him, Taz tells New Jack he still doesn't think he deserves a shot at the title and that if Konnan doesn't want it, maybe former global champ Christopher Daniels is ready to step up. Taz thanks New Jack again for his help at War Games, but tells New Jack that he needs to get a few wins under his belt before he tries demanding a title shot!
Mikey Whipwreck pinned Alex Shelley after a Victory Roll in 0:09:32. Rating: ** 1/2
Mikey Whipwreck gets another victory in singles action against Alex Shelley. Shelley former member of New Europe has told some of the USWA officials that he is going to put the past behind him and continue to compete in the X-Division. Shelley has been given a spot in the tournament, and his first round opponent will be a rematch with Mikey Whipwreck!
Interview Chris Daniels tells Low-Ki about the journey of being a champion
(In the Ring)
Christopher Daniels comes out and tells the fans he enjoyed a wild ride in 2002. He came back to the USWA in an effort to prove his first stint here wasn't what he was all about. He is a competitor! After battles with Vampiro and Konnan, Daniels secured the global title and he wore that title with pride for over 5 months. Daniels says that he is the longest reigning champ and is proud of his reign.
Daniels thanks Taz for the offer to go for the heavyweight title, but he believes that he has taken the Global title to a level that nobody thought the title could be on. He has taken the Global championship to the same level as that heavyweight title, and the GLOBAL TITLE is the one he wants back!
Daniels tells Low Ki that winning the title in 2002 was the culmination of a long road to becoming champion. Defending the title is a journey he better be ready for, and at New Years Revolution he will have to put the title on the line against Christopher Daniels once again!
Too Cold Scorpio pinned Konnan after a Shining Wizard in 0:14:09. Rating: **** 1/4
In our best match of the night Too Cold Scorpio uses a shining wizard finisher on Konnan. Konnan has stated that he isn't 100% due to the injuries he suffered in the WAR GAMES match, 2 Cold getting the victory over Konnan put Scorpio in a great position for future title consideration.
Williams and Smith attack PG-13 backstage
(Backstage)
Wolfie and JC are talking about their big win at Chaos when out of nowhere Harry Smith and Doug Williams attack PG-13 from behind. After the attack Williams looks at the camera and tells the fans to take a look at their #1 contenders!
Sean Waltman tells Bradley he'll face him soon enough.
(Ringside)
Sean Waltman comes to the announcers table to say a few things to Steve Bradley. Waltman tells Bradley that he never liked him from day one when he stepped back into the USWA. Waltman says next week the X-Division brackets will be revealed, and he is BEGGING Bill Dundee to put him in the same bracket as Bradley so they can go toe to toe once and for all!
Bill Dundee grants Jerry Lynn his wish
(Bill Dundee backstage)
Dundee was leaving his office backstage when the cameras caught up to him. Bill Dundee said that he has talked to Jerry Lynn about his concerns. Lynn wants to put his name in the hat with the big boys of the USWA and wants to focus on facing some of the best competition in the company, not just the X-Division members. Well tonight that wish is going to be granted. TONIGHT Jerry Lynn will face SAMOA JOE!
Jerry Lynn pinned Samoa Joe after a springboard forearm smash in 0:12:08. Rating: *** 3/4
Jerry Lynn gets a huge victory over Samoa Joe in tonights main event proving to himself and the nay sayers that he can compete on the next level. Joe seemed frustrated with the loss, but both competitors gave us a great main event!

USWA Velocity Charlotte, NC Taped January 4th Aired January 11th
Interview Bill Dundee reveals the X-Division tournament brackets
Dave Brown welcomes everyone to Velocity and tells the fans that Bill Dundee is on his way to the interview area to unveil the USWA X-division Tournament brackets. Dave reminds the fans that Friday night January 17th the USWA will make its return to Cleveland to celebrate the second annual X Division anniversary.
(As Dave talks about the upcoming card, the fans start to cheer as Bill Dundee makes his way to the interview area.)
Bill Dundee thanks all the fans in Charlotte for making our first show of 2003 such a hit, and promises the fans that the USWA is going to shake things up in the new year. Dundee goes on to explain that this year at the X Division anniversary show the title will be up for grabs! As everyone knows the title was vacated at Christmas Chaos when Jerry Lynn told the fans he would strictly compete in our other divisions. This has lead the USWA to go down the line of worthy X-Division competitors and pick the top 8 in the class.
The first round matches for the tournament in Cleveland, Ohio will be...
(1) Sean Waltman vs (8) Chad Collyer (2) Psicosis vs (7) Bobby Fish (3) Alex Shelley vs (6) Mikey Whipwreck (4) Steve Bradley vs (5) AJ Styles
Bill Dundee tells the fans that this one night tournament is guaranteed to crown a new champion and USWA fans in Cleveland should pick up their tickets today!
(As Bill leaves the ringside area Dave Brown tells the fans in Memphis that they should ALSO be on the look out for USWA action coming to them on January 20th as the first of our monthly Mid South Coliseum shows will take place with a main event that has been announced exclusively on the company website! Dave then throws it to a commercial break with a graphic showing that Mexico's Most Wanted are in action NEXT!)
Interview Ahmed Johnson and Sean Morley backstage
(Back from commercial break, Ahmed Johnson and Sean Morley are backstage talking.)
Ahmed tells Morley that now that their mission to win War Games is complete it's time for everyone to take their game to the next level. Sean agrees with Ahmed's thinking and tells Johnson he plans on making a run at a title himself.
Ahmed tells Sean Morley, in order to get that title shot that they should probably meet in the ring to determine the best wrestler for the match.
Sean tells Johnson he doesn't have a problem with him at all, but he wouldn't mind a one on one in the ring in order to eventually face Taz for that heavyweight title.
(The two shake hands and Morley tells Johnson he's looking forward to it!)
Colt Cabana and Delirious defeated Mexico's Most Wanted (Damien 666 and Halloween) when Delirious defeated Damien 666 by disqualification in 0:13:13. Rating: ** 3/4 [Universo 2000 interfered against Damien 666.]
In our opening match of the show, Cabana and Delirious sneak a victory past MMW with the help of Universo 2000. Things look to be cleared up between Delirious and Universo after their loss to MMW at Chaos. Damien 666 and Halloween vowed that this fight isn't over between them. Two-out-of-three-Falls Match With Captain's Rules Latin Lover, Super Calo and Psicosis beat Ultimo Guerrero, Universo 2000 and Nigel McGuinness 2 falls to 1: x L. Lover beat Universo 2000 via the Magistral Cradle in 0:04:13 x N. McGuinness beat Calo via the STF in 0:10:25 x Psicosis beat N. McGuinness via a flying spinning leg lariat in 0:14:26 Rating: *** 3/4
In our Lucha style six man tag match Lover, Calo and Psicosis come away the victors defeating Guerrero, Universo 200 and Nigel 2 falls to 1. Latin Lover and Psicosis have held an edge over Guerrero and Nigel for awhile now. They have taken the tag champs to the limits on several occasions, and tonight Psicosis pinned Nigel clean in the middle of the ring.
It's easy to say that Lover and Psicosis should probably get another shot at the titles, but with the Tag Team Division as strong as ever, they seem to be waiting in a long line of contenders that include Harry Smith and Doug Williams (former New Europe members.) and PG-13. Only time will tell who will get the next shot at the tag team gold currently held by Nigel and Guerrero.
Interview Low-Ki talks about completing the dream
(Cameras head into Low-Ki's locker room where he is sitting on the bench with Trinity at his side.)
Low-Ki looks up at the camera and tells Daniels that he has no clue what it is like to fight for a chance at the gold. Ki goes on to explain how Daniels came back to the USWA, had a few fights with Konnan and ended up in a good position to receive a title shot. With one big victory Daniels took the gold, the money, the fame, and started an international tour around the world. Nice clothes, fast cars, big money title defenses. While Daniels was living it up defending the title against cupcake opponents until he ran into Low Ki.
On the other side of the fence was "me" Low Ki. A disagreement with CM Punk lead to some of the best matches this company has ever seen. All ending with a best of 7 series that would swing the momentum of Ki's career which ended with the victory over Daniels at Christmas Chaos.
Ki asks Daniels if he has ever wanted something so bad in his life? Because it seems like everything he's ever gotten was given to him on a silver platter.
Low Ki threatens Daniels to never question him when it comes to asking what it takes to be a champion. Low Ki said he's been in the USWA for a long time, and has earned the title that now drapes around his shoulder. If Daniels wants it back, hes going to have to die trying!
Ringside Seven former champions enter the ring....
(Back ringside as the fans are getting ready for the main event Raven starts to make his way to the ring.)
Raven hits the ring and takes the mic. He says that something has really been bothering him as of late in the professional wrestling business.
(Dave Brown tries to get him out of the ring, but it's clear Raven is out of character and "shooting" on the mic.)
Raven says that every month someone new wants to be the Heavyweight champion of the world. The USWA is about to have their second PPV event from Chicago, and backstage some of the cronies in this company think they have a shot at that title. Back in the day you had to have a proven track record to get that title shot, and although Bill Dundee has done a favorable job as the president of the company, he has no respect for the history of this business.
(TAZ MUSIC HITS AND THE CROWD GOES NUTS)
Taz jumps in Ravens face and asks what his problem is, and if he wants a shot at the title, Taz isn't backing down one bit. Raven says that he doesn't want the shot, but due to his past, he should be considered as a contender, along with a few others....
(Out come Wolfie D, Jun Akiyama, and AJ Styles)
AJ Styles takes the mic and looks at Taz and tells him that everyone in this ring has something in common, they are all former USWA Heavyweight champions.
Raven asks Taz when the last time a former champion had a shot at the gold? Because last he looked Ulf Hermann who hasn't done a god damn thing in this company, along with Val Venis and Nigel McGuinness have been getting title shots for the past several months. Raven asks Taz if he's such a man and he thinks he is going to surpass Jun Akiyamas title streak, maybe he needs to step his game up and start taking on REAL contenders.
Taz tells Raven that he has defeated bigger names than he can ever dream of. (Akiyama gets right into Taz face and Taz backs down.....)
Raven tells him that this company has a "streak" that everyone is talking about. It has a "streak" that everyone cares about. It's the Home Run record in baseball, it's the unattainable dream. That streak is Jun Akiyamas title defense streak. As you know, "I" (Raven) ended that streak at a Night to Remember 2001 to record ratings for this company. How do we follow that up with in 2002? a 3 way dance with a bunch of nobodies? Granted it was match of the year, but when you're comparing it to your "classic" matches against Ulf Hermann last fall, what exactly is that garbage? You have 6 guys in this ring that would love to become the first ever two time USWA Heavyweight champion.
(New Jacks Music hits and out comes Jack to a huge ovation)
New Jack tells all of them that he is the greatest USWA champion that this company has ever seen. It wasn't something he tried to do, it just turned out that way, and at this years NEW YEARS REVOLUTION HE will once again get the title shot and become the first ever two time champion.
(Last but not least the 7th man to ever hold the title SHANE DOUGLAS hits the ring)
Shane has a lot of fans cheering for him as he says those famous words... "THE FRANCHISE IS BACK"
Shane tells New Jack he seems to be getting ahead of himself, because it was SHANE DOUGLAS that was called upon to get the USWA off the ground up and running. It was SHANE DOUGLAS that was called to be the challenger to the title, when no competition was in site. IT WAS SHANE DOUGLAS that passed the torch when the time was right to one AJ Styles.
(Styles grabs the mic and tells Douglas that he earned his spot in USWA history on his won, it wasn't GIVEN TO HIM by Shane Douglas.)
(Bill Dundee hits the ring)
Bill tells them that this is a truly amazing moment in the history of the company as every heavyweight champion that has been here, is in the ring right now.
(fans applaud)
Bill Dundee says that Raven has a point, and that he will guarantee that at the PPV in Chicago, Taz will defend his heavyweight title against one of these former champions, but for now, we are running out of time and we still have a main event to start!
Raven tells Taz that his four month title defense vacation just came to an end.
(no special match name) New Europe (Doug Williams and Harry Smith) defeated PG-13 (J.C. Ice and Wolfie D) when D. Williams pinned J.C. Ice with the Revolution DDT in 0:12:21. Rating: *** 1/4
In our main event PG-13 put up their #1 contenders title shot on the line to get a chance at Williams and Smith. Williams got the clean pin on J.C. Ice and won the shot at the titles on the PPV.
Williams took the mic and told Guerrero and Nigel that they have been waiting all year to take them on for the titles, and now that New Europe is no more, they are looking at a new tag team, The Legacy!

[Round 1] Alex Shelley defeated Mikey Whipwreck by disqualification in 0:04:26. Rating: ** 1/2

[Semi-Finals] Steve Bradley pinned Alex Shelley with the Smashmouth in 0:05:58. Rating: *** 3/4
Bradley was true to his word when he got the victory over Ales Shelley and heads to the finals of the 2nd annual tournament. These two X-division stars have been going back and forth for weeks now, tonight's finals will give us a first look at these two competitors.
[Finals]: Match for the vacant X Division Title Steve Bradley pinned Sean Waltman after a vertical facebuster in 0:06:35. Rating: **** (Steve Bradley won the X Division Title.)
What once was old, is now new again! As the first EVER X-division champion has reclaimed gold after three plus years. Steve Bradley defeated Waltman in the finals of the X-division anniversary tournament and becomes a two time X-Divison champion. Waltman left the ring furious that he lost and would not shake Bradleys hand. Bradley took the mic and said that a new era in the X-Division has started tonight in Cleveland Ohio.
USWA Backstage Notes:
A solid X-Division tournament in Cleveland tonight. Not the biggest draw of fans for the company, but that's what happens when you don't have any other champions or big names on the card.
Steve Bradley becomes USWA X-Division champion, and will defend that title in 8 days on Pay Per View at New Years Revolution.
The USWA will make it's debut in South Bend, Indiana tomorrow night as we tape another two weeks of TV and Challenge. The TV Taping schedule has really given the USWA an opportunity to add an additional house show to the schedule, without distracting from the wrestlers contracts. Look for the TV tapings to continue.
On January 25th the USWA will be back on Pay Per View for the second time ever. We will bring you New Years Revolution 2003 LIVE from Chicago, IL.
Here is the lineup so far:
Tag Team Titles: (c) Nigel McGuinness and Ultimo Guerrero vs Harry Smith and Doug Williams
Ahmed Johnson vs Sean Morley
Global Title Match (c) Low-Ki vs Christopher Daniels
** Taz, and Steve Bradley will defend their titles on the show as well. The PPV will come together tomorrow night in South Bend!

Just wanted to let you know I've been up on your cards from the website. I just got done with the first page, and I am always wondering who you will bring in next. Your roster sometimes looks like WCW 1997, but that's a good thing in my eyes. Anyways, good stuff, although how you got Dusty Rhodes to wrestle in 3000 light tube matches I'll never know. Once I am fully caught up I'll start giving a little bit more opinion on the recent stuff. Oh, and I like the way you did your website as it gives it a little bit more of a "reality" feel.

much appreciated. Yea, my roster is interesting to say the least. My thing is that I am trying to use guys that work with the timeframe. Granted I know Tommy Rich might be a stretch, but I do like turning over my roster when things get stale.
I'm also going to direction of these divisions and I am looking at 20 guys to compete for heavyweight and global title, around 10 for the x title and 5-10 tag teams for the tag titles. Thats a lot of people on the roster for sure. Personally I enjoy a large roster because you can mix and match. Hopefully I'll have a nice 2003. I do have an overall plan for how the year is going to go with the Taz title run.
I do have two new tag teams that will be coming in, but they will be debuting on the Memphis shows so they won't be here on the board for awhile, and I have a HUGE name coming in to mix it up with the heavyweight division.

Interview Nigel and Ultimo Guerrero impressed with Harris and Williams

Nigel tells everyone that it's clear that New Europe is no more, and that he can now go into the tag team matches with a clear head. McGuinness goes on to explain that he was impressed with the way Harry Smith and Doug Williams made themselves instant contenders to the titles when they set up PG-13 and took away their title shot. Nigel said that PG-13 had been working hard to get that shot at the gold, and with one match on Velocity those dreams were shattered.
Too Cold Scorpio pinned Steve Madison with the Flying Scorpio Splash in 0:09:26 . Rating: **** 1/4
Before the match Too Cold came over to Dave Brown and told him that he not happy that he isn't in the heavyweight title picture. He has waited his entire career to step out of the X-Division shadow and make a name for himself. Dave tries to calm Scorpio down and let him know that with the way he has been conducting himself he can't imagine that a title shot isn't right around the corner. Too Cold says he'll just have to take care of business the way he always does. He then goes into the ring and makes quick work out of Steve Madison.
CM Punk pinned Bobby Fish after a clothesline in 0:19:12. Rating: *** 1/4

USWA Velocity TV Taped: January 18th Aired: January 19th Ice Box Sports Arena, South Bend, IN Host: Dave Brown
Opening promo about tonights Main Event
Footage from last week when all seven former champions were in the ring telling Taz to give a title shot to one of them shows as a voice over explains that Shane Douglas is back in the USWA and has reached an agreement with New Jack that they will go one on one tonight. The winner of the match will go on to Chicago for New Years Revolution to face Taz for the title.
The Velocity Show Open starts
Video from the office of Bill Dundee Bill Dundee announces a new system for Tag Team Title championship matches.
(The camera shows Bill Dundee at his desk getting ready to read a prepared statement.)
Bill Dundee tells the fans that he wants to bring the best competition to the USWA tag team division, and that he wants to make sure that the best teams all over the world get a shot at those titles, currently held by Nigel and Ultimo Guerrero. Dundee says that after the New Years Revolution PPV in Chicago, we will be bringing in a 3 point system.
Each team must accumulate 3 points before they are eligible for a tag team title match. A win will give you three points, and you start back at zero after a loss.
This new system should clear up any confusion over the tag team contenders.
We have a big show on hand tonight, enjoy the program!
Ringside Interview PG-13 talk about the tag title picture
Dave Brown calls out former number one contenders PG-13.
Wolfie D and JC Ice make their way down to the ring to a big ovation from the crowd.
Dave asks Wolfie what the mindset is of PG-13 after losing the opportunity to face Nigel and Guerrero at New Years Revolution?
Wolfie says that PG-13 have worked their asses off from day one trying to become USWA Tag Team Champions. Winning those titles would be the greatest feeling in the world. Wolfie says they can't blame Harris and Williams for the victory two weeks ago. They pinned them in the middle of the ring and they goaded us into putting our number one contenders shot on the line.
Dave Brown says that Bill Dundee has re-written the rules to the tag team division, announcing that a three point system will go into affect starting next month.
JC Ice says that with the new system in place, that just means PG-13 has to start at the bottom, just like every other tag team in the USWA. We've done it time and time again and we will be USWA Tag Team champions in the future!
Dave Brown tells the fans we have tag team action coming up between Lover and Psicosis vs Universo 2000 and Delirious after the break!
Latin Lover and Psicosis defeated Universo 2000 and Delirious when L. Lover pinned Delirious after a slingshot in 0:09:34. Rating: ****
PG-13 decided to sit at ringside with Dave Brown for this tag title match and scout the competition.
Colt Cabana was in the corner of his friends Delirious and Universo 2000 for the match. With Latin Lover laying on the outside of the ring after receiving a picture perfect drop kick from Delirious, Universo hit a nasty closeline on Psicosis leading us to believe the end of the match was near. On the way down to the mat Psicosis knocked into the referee.
Out from the back run Mexicos Most Wanted who cheap shot Colt Cabana, and then steal a chair from ringside smashing it upside Delirious head, laying him out cold. As Psicosis came too, he noticed a knocked out Delirious and quickly used his slingshot finisher and covered him for the pin.
PG-13 got up from the announcers booth and exchanged words with Mexico's Most Wanted as they made their way to the back.
Alex Shelley pinned Colt Cabana after a small package in 0:05:34. Rating: *** 3/4
Colt Cabana took to the ring for his match with Alex Shelley, but after the attack from Mexico's Most Wanted, he wasn't 100% going into this match. Alex Shelley looked really good in this one taking a victory from Cabana after a quick roll up. Shelley is trying to accumulate some X-Division victories so he can be in the discussion of an X-Division title match.
The New Bolsheviks (Vladimir Kozlov and Alex Koslov) defeated Mike Sharpe and Reggie B. Fine when A. Koslov pinned Iron Mike after a kneedrop in 0:05:35. Rating: ** 1/2 (Brickhouse Brown no-showed.)
A New Tag Team debuted with the USWA tonight as Alex Koslov and Vladimir Kozlov bring their style of powerhouse and lightning speed to the USWA. They made short work of Reggie B. Fine and Mike Sharpe tonight.
After the Match Dave Brown tried to get a word from them, but Alex told Dave that they will not give a public statement until they have their representation present!
Konnan made Mike Sharpe submit to the Tequila Sunrise in 0:01:28. Rating: **
Konnan took to the ring for some action. During the match Dave Brown discussed next weeks matches which will include a rematch of Mikey Whipwreck taking on Super Calo, Jun Akiyama vs Jerry Lynn, and he just received word that PG-13 will challenge Mexico's Most Wanted in tag team action. By the time Dave was done promoting next weeks show, Konnan got the victory in the ring.
Too Cold Scorpio pinned AJ Styles with the Flying Scorpio Splash in 0:07:52. Rating: *** 1/4
Back from commercial break, AJ Styles and Too Cold Scorpio had just started their matchup in the ring. Dave Brown explained to the fans how Scorpio has been asking for a shot at the Heavyweight Title since the end of Christmas Chaos, when he declared himself to be in the Heavyweight Division. Tonight was a big step forward as he got a clean win over AJ Styles, former USWA champion.
After the match Scorpio reiterated his desire to have a heavyweight title match against Taz. I do believe that Scorpio has the attention of USWA management.
New Jack defeated Shane Douglas by countout in 0:04:32. Rating: *
In our Main Event of the evening we saw the return of former USWA Champion, Shane Douglas. Taz came out to join Dave Brown at ringside for this matchup.
It didn't take long for these two to go at it, while Taz discussed reasons that both of these men would be strong opponents for him at New Years Revolution.
not even three minutes into the match both men hit the floor. As the referee gets near the 10 count, Jack rolls back in, but someone was under the ring and held Shane Douglas leg, leading to him being counted out and New Jack getting the victory and the shot at Taz.
Taz saw the entire thing take place and ran under the ring, with Shane Douglas he pulls out the person that was under the ring. It was RAVEN! Raven punches his way through Taz and Douglas and bails to the locker room.
After the match New Jack gets the mic and tells Raven that if he wants to get involved in the matches so bad, maybe he should be in the ring. New Jack challenged Raven to face him in the Main Event next week!
Circuit Information:
The New Bolsheviks made their USWA debut tonight and will eventually be bringing in a manager. The USWA has big plans for these guys in the future.
Next weeks Velocity is going to be a big one, it has already been taped from the Ice Box in South Bend.

Samoa Joe pinned Mike Sharpe after an Aztecan suplex in 0:05:43. Rating: ***
Samoa Joe started off Velocity in singles action. Dave Brown announced that Samoa Joe will get the rematch against Jerry Lynn from their meeting on January 4th at New Years Revolution. Going into the PPV, Joe gets a win and looked great in the ring. Dave Brown then tells us that Raven is backstage looking for New Jack.
Raven finds New Jack backstage
(Cameras are following Raven as he walks into New Jacks locker.)
Raven asks New Jack if he really wants to face him tonight before he steps in the ring with Taz in Chicago? New Jack tries to talk back to Raven, but Raven tells New Jack that he should be reminded of the deep anger that Raven still has for New Jack ever since last year when he took the title from around his waist. Raven tells New Jack that tonight he is in for the fight of his life, because he is going to make sure New Jack doesn't make it to Chicago for the title match.
(Commercial Break)
Christopher Daniels defeated Vampiro via pinfall in 0:07:21. Rating: *** 3/4
Christopher Daniels gets a big victory over Vampiro. Trinity made her way down to the ring and once again started taking notes on the match. This caused a bit of a distraction for Daniels, but he was still able to get the pin on Vampiro. After the match Daniels joins Dave Brown in the interview area and tells Dave that he saw Trinity out scouting matches on USWA Challenge, and he doesn't know exactly what she is up to, but he won't let her get in the way of his match with Low-Ki on the Pay-Per-View. Daniels said he will have an equalizer at his side at New Years Revolution to make sure Trinity doesn't get in his way!
Mexico's Most Wanted (Damien 666 and Halloween) and PG-13 (J.C. Ice and Wolfie D) went to a no contest in 0:07:51. Rating: ** 1/4
Before the match footage of last weeks Velocity recapped Mexico's Most Wanted getting involved in our tag match with Lover, Psicosis, Delirious and Universo 2000.
This match was back and forth until Delirious and Universo 2000 hit the ring and layed into Mexico's Most Wanted. PG-13 had to help officials restrain both Delirious and Universo as Dave Brown sent the show to a break until they could restore order.
Jerry Lynn pinned Jun Akiyama with the Cradle Piledriver in 0:10:03. Rating: ****
In one of our two main event matches Jun Akiyama w/ Samoa Joe in his corner took on The Highflying Jerry Lynn. Samoa Joe got on the mic and told Lynn that out of respect he would not interfere in the match, but he wanted to be out here to support his friend. Everyone agreed and the match began. Akiyama hit some power moves early on, but Jerry Lynn turned things around in this match around the 8 minute mark. Despite his promise not to interfere, Samoa Joe threw a chair into the ring, and as the referee tried to get it out of the ring, Joe went for a running clothesline on Jerry Lynn. Lynn ducked out of the way, Samoa Joe hit Akiyama, and Lynn drop kicked Joe out of the ring, setting up Akiyama for the Cradle Piledriver, and a hard fought victory.
Jerry Lynn told Samoa Joe that if he ever tried to interfere in his matches again, he might end up a crippled man.
Sean Morley defeated Reggie B. Fine in 0:03:00. Rating: 3/4*
Sean Morley had a chance to get some in ring action tonight on Velocity. Dave Brown ran down the card of New Years Revolution and mentioned Morleys singles match against Ahmed Johnson at the show. Dave said that Ahmed had some comments for Morley earlier in the day, and during the match ran a brief clip of Johnson talking about how good they were as partners at Christmas Chaos, they will be just as good of enemies when he heads to Chicago. Morley made short work of Reggie B. Fine in this match.
Mikey Whipwreck pinned Super Calo with the Whippersnapper in 0:07:41. Rating: ** 1/2
Before the match a package promo ed Mikey Whipwreck getting the victory over Super Calo in his return match to the USWA, and qualifying Mikey for the X-Division tournament, The video also highlighted Calo's win over Matt Sydal on Challenge, which led us to this rematch.
During the match Calo and Mikey had a few different exchanges, but once again Mikey came out on top to the frustration of Super Calo. After the match both men shook hands as Mikey moves up the ladder in the X-Division and gets a nice payday for the victory.
Raven pinned New Jack with the Evenflow DDT in 0:07:45. Rating: ***
In our Main Event Raven hit the ring and did exactly what he told New Jack he was going to do. Unlike in Raven's past he hit the ring and beat the living hell out of New Jack. Jack went at Raven with everything he had, but Raven is such a master of mind games, and a pretty darn good wrestler at that. He was able to hit the Evenflow DDT out of nowhere and get a win over New Jack.
After the match Raven took the microphone and said that he might not like Taz as the Heavyweight Champion, but he refuses to let New Jack become the first ever two time champion that this company has ever seen. Raven then tells New Jack, good luck at the Pay-Per-View, and smiles as he leaves the ring.
Circuit Notes:
Tonight's Velocity ended a long night of tapings for the USWA, as we are all set up for the Pay Per View. Some say that Taz has an easy title defense on his hands due to Raven getting the victory on Velocity, but if anyone knows New Jack, they know that he can bring the fight any night of the week.
The X-Division Champion Steve Bradley had flight troubles getting to the show and missed a large taping the day after his title win. This made for a glaring hole in the last two weeks of television. We can announce that Steve Bradley will put the title on the line in Chicago against Sean Waltman in a rematch from the title tournament finals.
The USWA has hired a few new wrestlers strictly as Talent elevation. They should be making their way into the promotion during our west coast tour in February.
The Christopher Daniels/Low-Ki title match should be very interesting to watch as the months continue. Management has big plans for this ongoing feud.
Jerry Lynn/Samoa Joe and Jun Akiyama also could be a continuing storyline in the early months of 2003.
Rumor has it that all the former Heavyweight Champions will be on hand for the heavyweight title match in Chicago on PPV. The question is, who is going to try to get involved and can Bill Dundee guarantee this match will be fought to a positive finish?

USWA New Years Revolution PPV Aragon, Ballroom Chicago, IL Hosts: Dave Brown and Scott Hudson January 26th, 2003
Steve Bradley pinned Sean Waltman after a spinebuster in 0:08:57. Rating: *** 1/4 (Steve Bradley retained the X Division Title.)
We started the PPV off hot and heavy with the new X-Division champion, Steve Bradley, giving a title shot to Sean Waltman, who made it to the finals of the X-Division tournament. A great back and forth matchup, but Bradley gets the pin and his first title defense in the books with a decent opener.
Bobby Fish pinned Alex Shelley with the Falcon Arrow in 0:13:48. Rating: *** 1/4
Bobby Fish gets a big victory over Alex Shelley, and moves up in the X-Division rankings. Bobby Fish looks to be the next in line at the X-Division title.
Mexico's Most Wanted (Damien 666 and Halloween) defeated Delirious and Universo 2000 when Halloween made Universo 2000 submit to the La Calabaza in 0:12:13. Rating: *** 3/4
A feud that has really taken over Velocity as of late has been MMW and the team of Universo 2000 and Delirious. Tonight in Chicago these four men went at it again this time we got a finish out of the match with Mexicos Most Wanted grabbing a victory over Delirious and Universo 2000. When the match was over, Damien 666 and Halloween continued a beating. Halloween went to the outside to grab a chair to hit Delirious with, but Colt Cabana came out and made the save for his friends.
Samoa Joe defeated Jerry Lynn when Jerry Lynn passed out in the Coquina Clutch in 0:08:33. Rating: **** [Jun Akiyama interfered against Jerry Lynn.] [Chris Benoit interfered against Samoa Joe.]
In our biggest surprise of the night, Chris Benoit made his USWA debut! This match was a strong style with Samoa Joe unable to defeat Lynn after using all of his trademark maneuvers. Jun Akiyama, who was in Joes corner tripped up Lynn when the ref wasn't looking and Joe immediately applied the Coquina Clutch.
These two bullies wouldn't leave well enough alone and continued to taunt Jerry Lynn in the ring when he was in pain. Akiyama took the mic and said that he might need a warm up match for himself tonight and told the ref to ring the bell to start an unsanctioned match. At that moment the lights when down and Chris Benoit entered the stage area! Benoit ran down to the ring and cleared Jun Akiyama out of the ring, he then applied the crippler crossface to Samoa Joe until he tapped out and went running.
Benoit helped a fallen Jerry Lynn back to his feet as the crowd went nuts for the debut of Chris Benoit!
Low-Ki pinned Christopher Daniels with the Ki Crusher in 0:09:02. Rating: *** 3/4 (Low-Ki retained the Global Title.)
Before the match cameras caught up with Trinity talking to Christopher Daniels. We couldn't catch exactly what she was saying to him, but it sounded like she was asking Daniels for a favor. Daniels told her to leave him alone because he was about to face off against her boyfriend!
The match was a great rematch, and surprisingly Trinity didn't interfere at all. Low-Ki was barking orders for her to grab a chair, but she didn't do it. After the win, Low Ki grabbed Trinity by the wrist and drug her to the back.
Low-Ki defeated Christopher Daniels for the second time, and it looks like their will be no rematch.
New Europe (Doug Williams and Harry Smith) defeated Nigel McGuinness and Ultimo Guerrero when Smith pinned U. Guerrero with the Running Powerslam in 0:11:59. Rating: **** 1/4 (New Europe won the Tag Team Titles.)
The best match on the Pay-Per-View saw the crowning of NEW Tag Team Champions, after an eight month reign as tag champions, Nigel McGuinness and Ultimo Guerrero are no longer the champions. Harry Smith and Doug Williams won the belts and left the ringside area. Nigel McGuinness got up and picked up Ultimo Guerrero from the ground. The crowd gave them a round of applause, as they left the ringside area.
Ahmed Johnson pinned Sean Morley with the Pearl River Plunge in 0:09:27. Rating: * [Mike Awesome interfered against Ahmed Johnson.] [Bobby Duncum Jr. and Ulf Hermann interfered against Sean Morley.]
Ahmed Johnson and Sean Morley thought they might be able to get this feud out of the way and see who the best man is for the job, but it didn't happen as three of the biggest men in the company, Mike Awesome, Bobby Duncum and Ulf Hermann made their way down to the ring and attacked both men. Although the interference did distract both members, Ahmed was able to score a pinfall when Val was distracted. Val Venis was frustrated after the match and it appears he isn't happy with the outcome of this match.
Taz pinned New Jack after a flapjack in 0:12:56. Rating: *** (Taz retained the Heavyweight Title.) [Raven interfered against New Jack.] [Too Cold Scorpio interfered against Taz.]
In our main event TAZ gets the victory over New Jack and retains the title once again. Raven made his presence felt when he stuck his nose in New Jack's business once again, Too Cold Scorpio ran down to the ring and took out Raven with a superkick, he then looked at Taz and didn't hesitate to hit him with a superkick as well. New Jack tried to get a quick pin, but Taz kicked out. Taz hit the flap jack and got the pin on New Jack.
After the match Taz told both Raven and Too Cold Scorpio that he doesn't care who gets the next title shot, because everyone in this company is just another victim!
That Ended New Years Revolution from Chicago!
Backstage Notes:
-Chris Benoit has signed with the USWA and will be immedately put into the heavyweight picture.
-PG-13 have 1 more contracted show under their current contract, if they agree to resign the USWA will welcome them with open arms.
-The USWA has hired a new booker for the show. Look for changes in the format to both USWA Velocity, and USWA Challenge.
-Our next Pay Per View is scheduled for June. The King of the Death Match will not be taking place this year.
-Both teams of Doug Williams and Harry Smith, along with Delirious and Universo 2000 will be getting tag team names and will compete in the tag team divisions full time.
-Everyone is wonder what will happen with Nigel McGuinness and Ultimo Guerrero, as you know they were never friends to begin with and held the tag titles together for over eight months.

Corey doesn't understand what Daniels is talking about.
Daniels says that he looked in Trinitys eyes and noticed that she had legitimate concerns for the safety of an female while Low-Ki was in the ring, and so he didn't bring his hired gun to the ring, and in return Trinity didn't interfere in the matchup.
Corey Macklin asks Daniels if he is claiming Low-Ki beats women?

Doug says that tag team titles should be around the waists of the tag team champions.
Lance says he has noticed a softer side of these two since they have broken away from the old stable.
Harry Smith tells Lance that one thing that has bothered him is that people still call them "New Europe", and although they are both proud of their roots in the United Kingdom, that team name and group is dead. From this point on, as a tribute to my father who died last year, We want to be known as The Bulldogs!
Lance says that his father would be proud that he wants to continue the tradition and explains to Williams what an honor it is to continue on the legacy.

New Jack pinned Kevin Northcutt with the 187 in 0:04:51. Rating: * 1/4

New Years Revolution Event Center #2
Lance Wright is in the New Years Revolution events center once again and reviews the Pay Per View and all the action that took place.

Sean is laying on the ground in the hallway of the Aragon Ballroom and tells Bradley he has no excuse. He lost the match. He appreciated the rematch, but it was obvious out there that Bradley was the better man on this night. Waltman says that he is going to be leaving the USWA for the month of February for a tour of Mexico, but when he gets back he is looking forward to competing in the best Jr's division in the world.
(Cut back to Lance)
Lance says that everyone in the USWA wishes The Kid well in Mexico, and can't wait to see him back in a USWA ring.
Lance then shifts over to talk bout the Heavyweight Title match and Taz defending the title over New Jack. Lance says that he caught up with Taz the next day inside his dojo and these are the first words from Taz since his title defense.
(Cut to video of Taz inside his Dojo)
Taz asks Lance what the hell he's doing in the middle of his training session? Lance says that Bil Dundee sent him here to get comments.
Taz says he has three words that can sum it all up, "I'm the Champ" Everyone is trying to get this title off my waist, but it isn't going to happen, because I'm the champ. Taz says that Too Cold Scorpio might think he's a big deal in this company because he does all those flips off the top rope, but the fact of the matter is "I'm the champ".
New Jack might have a few justifiable homicides on his record, but that doesn't mean he can't get suplexed on his head just like everyone else that came before him. I've been saying the same thing for the last seven years LANCE, and it's about time people in the USWA start taking it seriously. BEAT ME IF YOU CAN, SURVIVE IF I LET YOU, but as of today. I'm still the god damn CHAMP
(BACK TO Lance)
As you can see Taz has a hold of that title and it's going to take a miracle for someone to get it off of him!
(commercial break)
Bobby Fish pinned Matt Sydal after a Victory Roll in 0:08:05. Rating: ** 1/4
Bobby Fish steps into the ring against a young Matt Sydal and collects the victory. Corey and Lance remind the fans that the Main Event is coming up next!
Konnan pinned Too Cold Scorpio after a double underhook suplex in 0:09:42. Rating: *** 3/4
We had a little bit of a shocker in our Main Event as Konnan, who most would think is the underdog in this matchup, gets the victory over Too Cold Scorpio, and gets a big ovation from the Portland crowd! These two had a match back on January 4th where Scorpio picked up the victory and Konnan said it was due to injuries he was still suffering from his match at War Games. After the match Lance Russell met up with Konnan to talk about the win.
Konnan calls out Taz for a shot at the title in San Diego
Lance Russell tells Konnan that he looked great in the ring tonight and a win against, Too Cold not only gets him a good payday, but could mean bigger matches in the future!
Konnan tells Lance Russell that he wasn't 100% the last time he faced Scorpio, and he knows Scorpio is another rising star in the company, but he took a week off, then returned to action feeling really good. He asked Dundee to give him this rematch and came away with the victory.
Lance says that it was an impressive win
(Too Cold comes into the interview area to confront both Lance and Konnan.)
Too Cold tells Konnan he doesn't know who he thinks he is, trying to take the spotlight off of him, but he shouldn't get too cocky about the win because he did beat him the last time they met!
Konnan tells Scorpio that after tonights victory he's in line for a title shot against Taz and that Taz owes him a favor!
Too Cold tells Konnan that HE is the number one contender, and that those political games won't be played here! Scorpio demands that Bill Dundee make a statement clarifying who will get the next shot at Taz!
Lance Russell tells the folks that we are all out of time on Velocity this week, but we will try to get word from Bill Dundee on the situation next week!
Circuit Notes: Tonights Velocity taping concluded our debut in Portland for Challenge and Velocity TV, and as you witnessed Too Cold Scorpio, who came out of New Years Revolution the clear cut number one contender, loses in the main event to Konnan and we now have a question as to who will get the next shot at Taz Heavyweight Title.
We do know that two major events that will take place on the West Coast tour include a show on Valentines Night February 14th in San Francisco, and our final show of the tour in San Diego, CA (Konnans hometown) Hopefully Bill Dundee will sort things out.
-Challenge and Velocity were both produced under the new USWA Booker. Scott Hudson has been brought into the company to relieve former booker Jerry Lawler of his duties. A new format to both shows has already made better use of the large talent roster that the USWA has.
-Some of the USWA stars will be headed back to Memphis for our second exclusive Mid-South Coliseum show. Once again you can only get results of those shows by visiting the USWA website.
-It hasn't been announced on Television, but the USWA has purchased the rights to the name "SuperBrawl" which used to be a WCW PPV name. Negotiations are going on now to put on a show under the SuperBrawl banner and hopefully air it Live on PPV. As of today, the title has been purchased and the show will happen in March, but it is not a PPV event.
-Our next stop on the West Coast tour will be Long Beach, California where Bill Dundee will be on hand for both Challenge and Velocity tapings, and hopefully announce some more matches for the big shows in San Francisco, and San Diego.

Highlights of PG-13's victory over the Southern Posse show, and then we cut to the post interview when they discuss how they are ready to get that tag team title shot. The voice over reminds the viewers that PG-13's victory tonight could put them only one point away from getting a tag team title shot. Tonight we will see if PG-13 can inch one step closer to winning tag team gold.

Backstage Lance Wright is standing with Steve Corino. Lance mentions that we have not seen Steve in action as of late.
Cornio tells Lance that his time in the ring is going to be limited right now because he has a new mission in the USWA. Cornio says that the the USWA continues to bring in some of the best talent in the country and around the world, but they continue to get lost in the crowd. Corino is going to offer his services as a former tag team champion and veteran of the ring to some of the wrestlers here in the USWA that can't seem to catch a break.
Video Package Nigel McGuinness Video
Video Package starts with a voice over recapping the split of Nigel McGuiness and New Europe, and also his split with Ultimo Guerrero. We then cut to Nigel McGuinness ..
Nigel tells the fans that everyone has been asking what he has planned for his future in the USWA now that he doesn't hold the gold. Nigel says that he is focused on returning to singles action where he was quite successful before he was matched up with Guerrero.
Nigel says that he can't think of a better event than the Battle in the Bay to start a new era in the career of Nigel McGuinness. He doesn't care the opponent, and he will leave it up the the USWA front office to find him a match.
Video ends and we go to a commercial break.

Announcers preview Battle in the Bay
:After the video on Nigel and AJ Styles the camera goes to the announcers table:
Dave Brown looks at Scott Hudson and tells him that AJ Styles is going to have a great opportunity to take on a man that's returning to singles competition right here next week.
Scott says that AJ Styles is a former heavyweight champion and if he knows him the way he thinks he does, he's going to come out here and give it his all, and once again prove why he has held so many titles in the USWA.
Dave then reminds the fans that we are only six days way from Battle at the Bay, taking place in San Francisco California at the Events Center Arena. People are excited about our debut in the bay and the USWA has put together a great lineup for the show.
Scott agrees and says that it all starts with the featured match of the night. Sean Morley and Ahmed Johnson will go at it in the cage to keep all the outside interference and distractions away from the ring. We will have a winner in this one and another top contender to Taz heavyweight championship.
Dave says the match he is most looking forward to is Scorpio taking on Konnan in a rematch from their match last week on Velocity. Konnan beat Scorpio, and really did some damage to his credibility as the number one contender. The winner of that match WILL face Taz when we end our west coast tour the following weekend.
Other notes on the show, we know that Nigel McGuinness has asked for a match against anyone on the roster. We do know officials are trying to get a contract signed and we should have an announcement on his opponent on Velocity.
We will also get a tag team rematch from Velocity as The Rock N Roll Express will take on The New Bolsheviks, along with Steve Bradley defending the X Division title.
Scott tells the fans that all the details of Battle in the Bay will be announced on Velocity with Lance Wright and the Battle in the Bay Event Center. DON'T MISS THE ACTION as the USWA debuts in the Bay area on Valentines night! IT'S BATTLE IN THE BAY!
Commercial break.
Rock'n'Roll Express (Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson) defeated The TexasHangmen (Killer and Psycho) when R. Morton pinned Psycho after the Double Dropkick in 0:09:33. Rating: * 3/4
Back from commercial The Rock n Roll Express get an impressive victory over The Texas Hangmen here on Challenge. When the match ended Scott Hudson took the mic and headed to the ring to get comments from the Rock N Roll Express.
Rock N Roll Express comment on the tag match next week.
:Scott Hudson heads to the ring and tells the fans to give it up for Ricky and Robert::
Robert tells Scott that last week on Velocity they got a chance to see the power of Vladimir and the athletic ability of the youngster Alex Koslov. Robert says that he is well aware that most people feel the Rock N Roll Express are a bunch of over the hill 1980's superstars, but it's 2003 and they are here to prove they can still go with the best in the world.
Hudson turns towards Ricky Morton and tells him in San Francsico they will get that rematch against the New Bolsheviks, then asks what the strategy will be going into the match?
Ricky tells Scott that next week they will bring there A game to the Events Center arena and they are going to show everyone in the USWA that they still have a little fuel in the gas tank!
Scott tells the fans to give it up one more time for the Rock N Roll Express.
Video Package Next weeks main event announced
Video Package highlights the USWA arrival of Chris Benoit and all he has done in the professional wrestling world, then a quick view of the young Samoa Joe and his USWA accomplishments. The Voice over announces these two will meet in next weeks main event.
Two-out-of-three-Falls Match With Captain's Rules Colt Cabana, Delirious and Universo 2000 beat Mexico's Most Wanted (Damien 666 and Halloween) and Vampiro 2 falls to 0: x Universo 2000 beat Damien 666 via a flying bodypress in 0:05:16 x Universo 2000 beat Halloween via disqualification in 0:13:01 Rating: **
Tonights Main Event was all action as Cabana led his team of Delirious and Universo 2000 onto victory over MMW and Vampiro. Vampiro was the mystery third man for Mexico's Most Wanted, and we had a stare down between Vampiro and Colt Cabana in which you could cut the tension with a knife. The two team captains took this match to a personal level with the amount of violence they showed, and I don't think it's the last we have seen or heard from these guys.
Video Package recaps next weeks main event
Video Package shows Chris Benoit's attack on Jun Akiyama and Samoa Joe at New Years Revolution. The voice over describes Benoit as a wrestling machine that has just made his way to the USWA.
Cut to highlights of Samoa Joe and his beat down of Jerry Lynn at the PPV, Samoa Joe then comments that Chris Benoit has stuck his nose in the wrong mans business.
Next week these two will meet in the MAIN EVENT of Challenge!

In ring Interview Corino in ring interview
::We return from break with Steve Corino dressed in a suit, in the ring with a mic::
Corino tells the fans that he made the announcement on Challenge that he has been going through the list of wrestlers in the USWA, and he sees a lot of potential in some of the wrestlers that continue to get lost in the shuffle.
Corino says that it's time someone like himself shares his knowledge of the ring with the elite wrestlers in the company, and bring them in to his family, the Corino Family.
Steve says that in the past pro wrestling managers have spent countless hours putting together a stable or a group of wrestlers that would take over the company, thats not what the Corino family is all about.
Corino goes on to say that with his services the wrestlers will be able to guide their own path toward the titles, take revenge against anyone they want, but with his guidance he will make sure that these wrestlers are offered ideal matches, and the title shots that they deserve. For a nominal fee of course.
Steve Cornio then says he would like to offer his services to one man in the USWA that has all the talent in the world, but doesn't have the direction he needs. Cornio then tells the fans to give a round of applause to Bobby Fish!

Fish tells Corino he has been trying to get a shot at that title for months.
Corino tells him that this is just an example of the things that can happen if he joins the Corino family. Steve tells Fish that the match is his, no strings attached. Then he wishes him luck in the match.

AJ tells Lance that he is taking a stand and tonight is the beginning of his rise back through the USWA to the top. It has been far too long since he's had a title around his waist, and that X-Division or Global title belts would look great around his waist.
Battle in the Bay Event Center #1
::Lance Wright is in the Battle of the Bay Events Center::
Lance tells the fans in the Bay area that they need to get there tickets now for the event because it's almost sold out! The only way to see this show is if you are LIVE that night, and we want to run down the card for the show.
It's been talked about for a few weeks now, a CAGE MATCH between Sean Morley and Ahmed Johnson. Pinfalls only to win the match. The reason for the cage is to keep away all interference and give us a clear cut winner.
Our co main event of the night will be Too Cold Scorpio taking on Konnan with the winner taking on Taz in San Diego to finish up our West Coast tour. We will have comments from both Konnan and Too Cold Scorpio later in the program.

-Commercial-
Low-Ki pinned Chad Collyer with the Ki Crusher in 0:10:30. Rating: *** 1/2
Non title match for Low-Ki our Global champion, gets a victory over the promising Chad Collyer. Low-Ki made an example out of Collyer for Christopher Daniels. After the match Corey Macklin joined him in the interview area to get his thoughts on Christopher Daniels, and his Global Title.

Corey tells Low-Ki that he is going to cut to the chase and call him out on Daniels accusations that he has put his hands on Trinity in the past!
Low-Ki tells Corey that Christopher Daniels is trying to make him out to be a bad guy, when the fact is that he couldn't beat him in the ring, and that's why he is starting these rumors. Low-Ki tells Daniels he should mind his own business.
Corey points out that Trinity isn't here tonight and was asking where she might be? Low Ki tells Corey he should mind his own business or he might be looking for a beating as well!
on that note Corey takes us to commercial.
Memphis Legends (Brickhouse Brown and Reggie B. Fine) defeated Southern Posse (Sonny Trout and Rick Tames) when Reggie B. pinned Rick Tames with his finisher in 04:46. Rating: ** 3/4

During the match Corey and Lance discuss how hot the tag team division is right now, and the Tag Champions the Bulldogs have been going around the locker room saying they will have an open challenge at Battle in the Bay.
Chris Benoit defeated Super Calo when Super Calo passed out in the Crippler Crossface in 0:13:32. Rating: ****
Chris Benoit and Super Calo put on a hell of a match for TV, but Benoit got the best of the high flying luchador Super Calo. This was our first time seeing Benoit on TV and he came to the USWA as advertised. After the match Benoit met Corey Macklin in the interview area.
Benoit interview about Samoa Joe
:Corey tells Chris Benoit that everyone in the company is happy to have him on board, as he is just another big name in the pro wrestling industry to jump on board the fastest growing promotion in the country.
Chris Benoit said he is happy to be here, and has been impressed with the competition that the USWA offers, but the reason he's here is to stand up for a friend. Benoit talks about how him and Jerry Lynn used to travel together in the former WCW, and how they have been on countless tours of Japan together.
When he saw Lynn being bullied by Samoa Joe and Jun Akiyama he just got fed up and knew it was time someone came in and showed those two what happens when you mess with the wrong person.
Corey tells Benoit that Joe and Akiyama are two of the biggest names in the company, and he might have bitten off more than he can chew getting involved with those two.
Benoit says that he knows Akiyama's goal is to once again face Taz for the heavyweight title, but it won't be on his watch.
Corey tells Chris that the USWA officials are excited about his jump to the company, and he knows that he is on a collision course with both Joe and Jun Akiyama in the upcoming weeks.

The voice over asks if Raven has been hired by Taz to protect his belt as he attempts to defend it on a monthly bases? Only time will tell what Raven is thinking, and what actions he will take.
Battle in the Bay Control Center #2

Lance says that he had a chance to get a few words from both men that will compete in the number one contenders match. Lets hear from both men!
::Cut to Scorpio::
Scorpio tells the fans that his victories in he X-Division have given him a chance to shine in the big picture. He is only one match away from a heavyweight title shot, and thats something he's waited for his entire USWA career. Konnan may have gotten an upset victory over him on Velocity, but he won't let that distract him from his goal of being the USWA champion.
::We then cut to Konnan::
Konnan says that he is excited to face Scorpio for a shot at the title. Not only is he looking to boost his career for a chance to dethrone Taz, but he will have the opportunity to do it in his hometown of San Diego California. Konnan promises the fans that he won't disappoint and will head home with a title shot in San Diego!
::back to Lance Wright::
One of those men will be walking out of San Francisco with a title match.
Lets run down the card one last time.

Don't miss it folks, it's one of the featured stops on the west coast tour, BATTLE IN THE BAY!
CM Punk defeated Julio Sanchez by disqualification in 0:06:45. Rating: *** 3/4
CM Punk gets a victory in the ring after Sanchez got frustrated with being on the losing side of this match. Sanchez grabbed a chair and tried to hit Punk with it, he missed, hit head ref Downtown Bruno, and was DQed for his troubles. CM Punk gets a cheap victory, but with his losing streak, it's a victory none-the-less.
Ahmed Johnson pinned Ulf Hermann with the Pearl River Plunge in 0:12:04. Rating: **
In our Main Event Ahmed Johnson defeats Ulf Hermann one on one as he heads into Battle in the Bay STILL undefeated since his arrival in the USWA. After the match Ahmed joined Lance Russell for his final comments heading into the big show.
Ahmed has his final comments before he gets in the cage!
Lance Russell tells Ahmed the all the talking, all the hype is over, it's time for him and Sean Morley to head into the cage and determine a clear cut winner between them.
Ahmed tells Lance that he is in the best shape of his life right now, and is excited about his comeback tour. Him and Sean haven't always seen eye to eye, but they both want to become champions in the USWA. Sometimes you need to separate the men from the boys, you need to put friendships aside and compete in some of the harshest environments that this business can offer. Thats what's going to happen at Battle of the Bay.
Sean Morley and I might respect each other, but the time for friendship will be after one of us leaves the cage in victory, and the other one is in the hospital!
Lance tells Ahmed that not only is he getting his first singles high profile match, but his undefeated streak will be on the line in the cage!
Ahmed tells Lance that so far he has gone through all the competition here in the USWA, and nobody has been able to stop him. After his cage match at Battle in the Bay, everyone is going to take notice of what I've done here in such a short time.
Lance asks if he has any last words for Sean Morley before the match.
Ahmed tells him to get ready for a war!
::With that Lance ends the show and we head into Battle in the BAY!::

USWA Battle in the Bay February 14th, 2003 San Francisco Bay Area
(Loser leaves town) The Bulldogs (Harry Smith and Doug Williams) defeated PG-13 (J.C. Ice and Wolfie D) when D. Williams pinned Wolfie D with the Chaos Theory in 0:17:18. Rating: *** 1/4
In a shocking turn of events, the USWA Tag Champs hit the ring and grab the mic. Williams explains how they were responsible for taking away PG-13's title shot from Guerrero and Nigel, and tonight they demanded a non title match against PG-13. Williams explained that if they lost tonight, Wolfie and J.C. Ice would have 3 points and eligible for a tag title shot in San Diego, but to up the anti, If The Bulldogs win, PG-13 had to leave the USWA!
Wolfie and J.C. were up for the match, but in the end the Tag Team Champions defeated PG-13, and it looks like that might be the last we see of these two in in the company. A shocking turn of events on there way to the tag team titles.
Bobby Duncum Jr. pinned Nigel McGuinness after a dragon suplex in 0:07:31. Rating: **
Bobby Duncum Jr. gets a singles victory over Nigel who is trying to make his way back to singles competition. BDJ overpowered the englishmen in this matchup, and looks like he's making waves into the global title picture.
The New Bolsheviks (Vladimir Kozlov and Alex Koslov) defeated Rock'n'Roll Express (Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson) when A. Koslov made R. Morton submit to the Red Scare 1 in 0:11:36. Rating: ** 3/4
It wasn't a pretty rematch for the Rock N Roll express. They had the fans behind them, but Vladimir and Alex were able to get a second victory over Ricky and Robert tonight. With PG-13 out of the picture, maybe The new Bolsheviks will have a case for a title match in the future.
Interview Taz in ring interview
Taz comes out to the ringside area and tells the fans that tonight we will crown a number one contender with Konnan and Scorpio going at it. Taz says he has respect for both men in this matchup tonight, but nobody is getting in the way of his title reign.
Out comes Raven who tells Taz that he is so sick of seeing him as champion and that eventually he is going to have real competition gunning for that title.
Taz challenges Raven to a fight tonight! Asking him if he wants to go.
Raven tells Taz that soon enough they will meet again in the ring, with or without the title on the line.
Ultimo Guerrero pinned AJ Styles with the Ultimo Guerrero-Plex in 0:06:55. Rating: **
Ultimo Guerrero gets his first singles victory over AJ Styles. Styles looked very upset after the loss, as he has been on a losing streak as of late.
Steve Bradley pinned Bobby Fish with the Smashmouth in 0:08:02. Rating: ** 3/4 (Steve Bradley retained the X Division Title.)
Bradley retains the USWA X-Division title with a win over an up and coming Bobby Fish. When the match was over Steve Corino made his way to the ring and helped Bobby Fish back up to his feet. Corino told Fish that he was able to get him that title shot, but if he signs on with the Corino family he can show him how to beat Bradley and become a champion!
Number-One-Contenders-Match Konnan pinned Too Cold Scorpio after hitting him with a road sign in 0:03:01. Rating: *** [Raven interfered against Too Cold Scorpio.]
Raven made his presence felt and cost Too Cold a shot at the heavyweight title as he interfered in the matchup distracting the ref throughout the match. Near the finish Raven tossed a road sign into the ring and Konnan used it to nail Scorpio with it and claim a victory. We don't know if Konnan and Raven are working as a team, or if he has his eyes set on Scorpio. Hopefully we will get more information on this turn of events on Velocity! Konnan goes on to his hometown of San Diego to face Taz for the Heavyweight title!
Cage Match Ahmed Johnson pinned Sean Morley with the Pearl River Plunge in 0:11:57. Rating: 3/4*
In our main event Ahmed Johnson stays undefeated as the cage did exactly what it was designed for. It kept all interference away from the ring. Bobby Duncum walked down the isle and did attempt to get into the ring at one point but Johnson dropkicked the cage and BDJ fell to the ring apron. Johnson hit Morley with the pearl river plunge for the victory, and then pointed to BDJ as if to tell him that he is the next opponent!
Backstage Notes
A shocking angle started the show tonight as the Bulldogs once again one up PG-13 and defeat them in a loser leaves town matchup. The real reason for this angle is because Wolfie D decided not to resign with the company. J.C. Ice was willing to come back, and some backstage (especially his father) felt that he could join the X-Division, but in the end he was released with Wolfie D. PG-13 always have an open door policy with the USWA, and maybe one day they will win those titles, but it won't be for now.
Bobby Duncum Jr. continues to take on all comers, tonight a big victory over Nigel McGuinness. Some backstage feel that a potential match with Ahmed Johnson will be in his future, with the winner becoming a contender to the Global title.
The New Bolsheviks continue to be on a roll with a second victory over Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson. Alex and Vladimir have really stepped up against the competition and could soon be a contender to the USWA tag titles.
Bobby Fish and AJ Styles suffered losses tonight that really hit home to them, that without changes they might be in for a bad year in the USWA. The one that seems to make out the best from this situation would be Steve Corino. Both wrestlers are gullible enough to take Corino's offer and join his stable.
Konnan got a huge victory over Too Cold and will go on to face Taz at our huge show in San Diego, his hometown. We will see if Konnan can get the home field advantage and shock the world to become the new heavyweight champion.
Ahmed Johnson's victory over Morley has put him in a great position for a title match in the near future. Some think that title match could happen as soon as the end of our West Coast tour. Ahmed is still undefeated and has former USWA champion New Jack in his corner as he continues to dominate in his comeback.

Just wanted to update. Its been hectic at work since September, but with the holidays upon us I'll have more time to advance some cards.
The exciting thing is I'm redoing the USWA website and building it with Joomla, which I've been learning in the last week. I'd say the site is around 65% finished on my computer, and I'm excited to get it up and running. The CMS website is going to look so much nicer, and will really make it easier to update.
Hopefully you guys continue to read the cards.

Colt Cabana took on Damien 666 in singles competition, but it didn't take long for Vampiro to run down and attack Cabana from behind. The loss last week to Cabana, Delirious and Universo was then avenged as Halloween and Damien tied Cabana up in the ropes and Vampiro stomped away at him until he layed lifeless in the ring. Universo and Delirious were both not at the show tonight, so nobody came out to save him. After the attack Vamiro joined Dave Brown near the announcers table.

USWA Velocity 2.15.03 Las Vegas, NV Commentators Corey Macklin and Lance Russell
Taz enters the ring to comment on Konnan and Scorpio
Velocity starts off with a bang as The Heavyweight champion TAZ hits the ring.
Taz takes the mic and says that a lot of people have been coming up to him telling him that they never see him in action anymore, he only defends the title once in awhile, well tonight TAZ IS IN THE mother f*!*kin building!
(Fans go crazy)
Taz says that he went on to witness one of the best damn matches the USWA has put on in the early stages of this year when Konnan took Too Cold to the limits in the #1 contenders match in San Francisco. Taz says that nobody will ever doubt that Too Cold Scorpio is one of the all time greats in this ring, and the things he has done in the USWA are legendary. He knows Scorpio wants a title shot more than anything in this world, but as Taz had to learn last year, it takes years! TV tapings, house shows, Pay Per Views, you need multiple wins and you need a little luck just to get the damn opportunity to step into this ring and get a title shot! Taz says that his opportunity came last fall when he defeated New Jack inside a steel cage and he hasn't looked back. Taz tells Scorpio that his day will come, but right now, Konnan gets the shot.
(The fans POP for Konnan, as the music hits and Too Cold comes out to join Taz in the ring.)
Scorpio thanks Taz for the kind words, but tells him he has been waiting a very long time to be a heavyweight champion, and that day is going to come sooner than later, because Bill Dundee has reviewed the tapes, and had a little something to say on the subject.
(A Video plays of Bill Dundee explaining he is on the way to the building, but wanted to make it clear that once again RAVEN has gotten in the middle of the title picture and has tried to change the outcome of the match. Bill Dundee says TONIGHT Konnan will once again step in the ring with Too Cold Scorpio and the winner of tonights main event will go on to San Diego and get that title shot!)
(Konnans music hits as he heads to the ring. Konnan says that he won that match fair and square, and that Raven had nothing to do with the outcome of the match. Scorpio argues the chair to the back of the head knocked him out cold.)
Scorpio and Konnan start to shove each other when RAVENS music hits and he stands at the ramp.
Raven says that what he did to Scorpio isn't anything that half the locker room has been wanting to do to him for the last two years. Raven says that people are sick of seeing Scorpio on top of the company, and that if he isn't careful he might get another chair to the back of his head.
(Raven enters the ring with the rest of the guys.)
Raven looks into Konnans eyes and says that he can see that Konnan is willing to do anything to win the Heavyweight title, and that Konnan is the kind of guy that should represent this company on an international level, not TAZ.
Konnan butts into the conversation and tells Raven he doesn't want anything to do with him and that he can win the title on his own. Raven responds telling him that tonight, he has Konnans' back in the Main Event, and that Scorpio should be prepared.
Taz interrupts the conversation and tells them that Raven's B.S. isn't going to be taken lightly tonight, because TAZ is declaring himself the official guest referee tonight and that if Raven even looks in the direction of the ring apron, he's going to end up being choked out in the middle of the ring!
Raven then DDT's Scorpio out of nowhere and leaves him laying, slides out of the ring and laughs his way to the locker room. Taz and Konnan check out Too Cold to make sure he is okay.
:commercial break::
Bobby Fish pinned Sean Waltman with the Falcon Arrow in 0:09:26. Rating: ***
Steve Corino joined Corey Macklin and Lance Russell in the announcers booth during this match. Corino explained that he got Fish this match which will serve as the #1 contenders match to the USWA X-Division title. Fish beat Waltman CLEAN and then joined Corey at ringside for an interview.
Bobby Fish explains how things are going to change with Corino.
Corey Macklin gives credit to Fish for a big victory tonight on his way back up the ladder to the X-Division title.
Bobby Fish said that being with the Corino family has changed his outlook on the USWA. People always said that you can't break the ceiling here in the USWA, but thats not true. You just need the right management. Since signing with Corino he has received two shots at the X title, and in San Diego he isn't leaving without the gold around his waist.
Macklin tells them that the champion Steve Bradley might have something to say about that, but he wishes them luck in the upcoming match.
Corino says it's not about luck, and that once he has the X-Division title in his stable, some of the best talent in the USWA will be looking to join the Corino family!
The New Bolsheviks (Vladimir Kozlov and Alex Koslov) defeated Memphis Legends (Brickhouse Brown and Reggie B. Fine) when A. Koslov defeated Reggie B. Fine when Reggie B. Fine passed out in the Red Scare 1 in 0:02:04. Rating: ***
The New Bolsheviks have now accumulated enough points to earn themselves a tag team title shot against The Bulldogs with the victory tonight over The Memphis Legends, who were victorious on Challenge. It didn't take long for Alex and Vladimir to get the victory, and it looks like we might be in for a big time tag title match in San Diego with a new contender ready to step up to the challenge. We don't know much about this mysterious team from the U.S.S.R, but we do know that they have become accustom to winning!
Event Center Update Mile Stone Series Finale
We go to Lance Wright who is in the Mile Stone Series Event Center.
Lance reminds everyone in the San Diego area that this show will only be available for those in attendance that night, and later for DVD, but it's going to be a huge night to finish off the West Coast Tour!
X-Division title is on the line as Steve Bradley will face Bobby Fish in a rematch from Battle in the Bay. Although the loss did take Fish down a step, his victory tonight over Waltman has put him back in the #1 contenders spot for the title.
The Tag Team Titles are on the line as The New Bolsheviks take on the Tag Team Champions "The Bulldogs". We were able to catch up with the Tag Team Champions and get a few words from them..
(cut to video package) Doug Williams tells everyone that he isn't impressed by the New Bolsheviks and a victory over The Rock N Roll Express doesn't impress anyone in this company. In San Diego the Bulldogs are walking out the CHAMPS! (end video)
In our Main Event Taz will take on Konnan, but WAIT, TONIGHT Too Cold Scorpio gets a second chance to be the #1 contender. Can he get the victory and go on to the MAIN EVENT in San Diego? We will find out later tonight.
Don't miss USWA action when it hits your town next week!
Rock'n'Roll Express (Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson) and Steve Madison defeated Colt Cabana, Delirious and Universo 2000 when R. Morton pinned Universo 2000 after the Double Dropkick in 0:13:03. Rating: ** 1/4 [Vampiro interfered against Colt Cabana.] [Halloween interfered against Delirious.]
Back from break we join six man action in progress and watch the Rock N Roll Express get a victory over Cabana and his friends. Cabana's ribs were heavily taped from the attack he received on USWA Challenge. Vampiro and Mexicos Most Wanted hit the ring again to attack Cabana and his friends, but the Rock N Roll Express and Steve Madison helped Universo 2000 and Delirious hold off the ambush.
Interview Christopher Daniels comes out for an interview.
Lance Russell brings out Christopher Daniels as they begin to discuss how things have been going for him on this west coast tour. In the middle of the discussion out comes Trinity.
Trinity looks scared and reveals to Lance and Daniels bruises on her face. Lance immediately asks of this is something that Lo-Ki did to her? Trinity is trembling and doesn't really give an answer.
Daniels tells Trinity that he has explained to her that she needs to get rid of Low-Ki in her life and move on. Shes obviously in a bad situation, and she doesn't deserve to be getting beat by anyman!
Trinity asks for Daniels help, but Daniels continues to say he doesn't want to get involved. Lance Russell asks for any of the medics in the back to come out and take a look at her to make sure she is okay, and then out of nowhere LOW-KI smashes Daniels in the back of the head with a BULLROPE! Trinity begins to laugh and tells Lance that it was all a set up!
Lo-Ki continues to try to choke the life out of Daniels and uses the rope to swing him into a wall! Low-Ki sets Daniels up on the announcers table and gives him a KI-Crusher through the table. A bloody Christopher Daniels lays practically unconscious as Lance and Corey scream for someone to come out and help. Low-Ki wraps the rope up around the neck of Daniels and drags him to the ring. As Daniels lay helpless Low-Ki tries to HANG DANIELS BY THE RINGPOST WITH THE BULLROPE, AS TRINITY CONTINUES TO SLAP HIM IN HIS FACE!
Finally Low-Ki leaves him laying and him and Trinity leave as Daniels is taken out on a stretcher and rushed to a nearby hospital!
::Commercial Break::
Interview Announcers recap Daniels attack
Lance Russell stand in front of a destroyed announcers area, and tells the fans that the show has taken a drastic turn for the worse as Low-Ki has just finished one of the most horrendous beatings of a wrestler that this company has ever seen.
Corey is in shock that Trinity set this whole thing up, and thinks back to the last couple of weeks of her coming out her and setting Daniels up for what we saw just take place.
Lance said that a lot of the guys in the back are worried about Daniels future, and that we have sent Lance Wright to the local Las Vegas hospital to find out the seriousness of these injuries, but from what we just witnessed, I can't see Daniels coming back anytime soon.
CM Punk pinned Super Calo with the Pepsi Plunge in 0:11:26.Rating: ***
CM Punk gets a singles victory over Super Calo. After the match Corey Macklin joined him in the ring.
Interview CM Punk announces he is now in the X-Division
Corey says he's happy to see CM Punk back on TV here in the USWA, and that he thinks that his future is still bright.
CM Punk reminds Corey that he was the X-Division champion before, and he had a chance to look up and down the roster of X-Division competitors, and noticed that he would be a top guy in the division. As of today, the paperwork has been finished and he has moved back to the X-Division.
Corey says that the action in the X-Division has been hot since Bobby Fish, Steve Bradley and Chad Collyer all are making names for themselves.
Punk says that he had to give the belt up when he was "suspended" under young lions rules. A rule that doesn't even exist in the company anymore! But this time, he will be at the top of the class, and he doesn't care if it's Steve Bradley, Mikey Whipwreck, Chad Collyer, or Bobby Fish, CM Punk will wear gold in the USWA once again!
Interview Video Package: Ravens recent actions
Voice over says that Raven has taken a new approach to capturing the gold in the USWA in 2003. Since January.
Highlights show Raven telling Taz that he hasn't had any real competition for the title, then we show highlights of New Jack getting a victory over Raven on Velocity to earn the shot at New Years Revolution.
Voice over says that Raven has constantly attempted to determine the outcome in the heavyweight title matches. Showing his interference against Too Cold Scorpio which led to Konnan's title shot.
What are Ravens intentions? Is he working with Konnan to take the title away from Taz? Or is he just causing a shakeup to get under the champions skin?
(Video ends and we cut to a promo from Raven.)
Interview Raven shares his thoughts on tonights Main Event
[Raven is walking backstage as the camera follows him.]
Raven says that people have been asking him why he continues to get involved in the heavyweight title picture, but the real question is why do the fans get behind a man like Taz? Taz was a loser in the USWA since this company started. He has had cupcake title defenses for months, yet everyone cheers him on, they drool at the mere site of him choking out some rookie pro wrestler.
Raven talks about all his accomplishments in the USWA, his defeat of Jun Akiyama at A Night to Remember 2002, his title defenses overseas, and the careers he helped established in this business like Stevie Richards, and CM Punk.
So the question has always been.. what about Raven? Why don't the fans cheer for him? Raven says that just like every other professional wrestler on this roster, his goal is to once again become the USWA Heavyweight Champion, but if that isn't going to happen right away, he is going to do everything in his power to get the belt off Taz!
Raven then goes on to say that Too Cold Scorpio is just like Taz. All the fans love him, but in the eyes of his co workers, he's nothing but a punk who's never been able to hold a heavyweight title belt.
Raven looks at the camera and tells the fans that no matter the outcome of tonights main event, he will take on the loser in San Diego to determine the next championship match in March, and that The Raven will once again hold the heavyweight title when it's all said and done.
Chad Collyer defeated Mikey Whipwreck by disqualification in 0:13:45. Rating: *** 1/2 [Matt Sydal interfered against Chad Collyer.]
Collyer gets an X-Division win over Whipwreck even with Matt Sydal coming out from the back and trying to get involved in the match. Sydal walked over to Mikey after the bell rang and apologized for costing him tonights match. Mikey accepted the apology and they walked to the back together.
Jerry Lynn pinned Bobby Duncum Jr. with the Cradle Piledriver in 0:08:06. Rating: ** 1/4
USWA Officials put this match together to determine the top 10 rankings and some would say the outcome was a surprise! Jerry Lynn defeated Bobby Duncum Jr. with his Cradle Piledriver to move up the ranks. Some might say that Lynn was at a huge disadvantage due to his size, Lynn was able to overcome that, just like he has been able to overcome most of the obstacles he's faced in the USWA. After the match we got word from Lance Wright on the condition of Christopher Daniels.
Interview Update on Christopher Daniels health.
[Lance Wright is outside the local Las Vegas hospital with a report]
Lance tells Corey and Russell that things are not looking good for Daniels. Early word is that his lungs have been heavily damaged from the hanging he received at ringside. The doctors are not sure how severe the damage is at this time, but it's safe to say that his West Coast tour is over. Fans in San Diego will not be seeing Daniels, and if the damage is as bad as it looked ringside, we might never see Daniels wrestle again!
[Lance kicks it back to the guys, who are standing by with Bill Dundee]
Interview Bill Dundee comments on Lo-Ki and our next Pay-Per-View.
[Corey Macklin thanks Wright for the report and introduces Bill Dundee]
Bill Dundee starts off the interview saying that he hasn't seen an attack on a professional athlete that severe in years, and that the USWA won't sit back and let him get away with it. Bill Dundee announces that if this was some sick way out of giving Daniels a rematch for the Global title it won't work, and Low KI WILL defend that Global title in San Diego! He doesn't have an opponent right now, but next week he will announce who that man will be.
Corey says thats good news, and then shifts gears to our next Pay Per View Event.
Dundee announces that they have purchased the name "SuperBrawl" from a company that is no longer using the show, and that from here on out SUPER BRAWL will be our annual March Pay Per View! Our First annual Super Brawl event is going to take place in one of our more popular cities, Washington, DC on March 30th. Tickets are on sale this weekend in Washington, DC and we will be announcing a Main Event once we have the Fallout from our Series Finale in San Diego!
Corey tells fans that the USWA Pay Per Views are the biggest shows of the year! and it's can't miss action for our fans all over the country.
Bill Dundee says that for our inaugural event we won't be holding back and will be putting together one of our biggest cards ever!
Corey thanks Dundee for his time and tells the audience when we return it will be Konnan vs Scorpio with Taz as the special guest ref, Title match in San Diego on the line once again!
Number-One-Contenders-Match with Special Referee Taz Konnan defeated Too Cold Scorpio when Too Cold Scorpio passed out in the Tequila Sunrise in 0:06:53. Rating: ****
One of our biggest Velocity Main Events in the history of the show! Konnan defeated Too Cold Scorpio CLEAN in the middle of the ring to continue his march to San Diego and get his shot at the heavyweight title. Taz called the match down the middle explaining before the match that he has respect for Too Cold, and he wouldn't do that to Konnan since Konnan was such a big part of Team Taz victory over New Europe back at War Games in December.
Raven attempted to get involved but as soon as he hit the ring Taz talked up to him and put him in the Tazmission choking him out cold at ringside.
Konnan was able to catch Scorpio with the Tequila Sunrise and Taz called for the bell. Too Cold never tapped out in this match, but in the end Taz knew he had taken too much punishment. A huge main event that proves Konnan is the number one contender to the Heavyweight Title.
Backstage Notes:
USWA officials are very happy with the main event, and the Heavyweight title picture in general. Konnan, Too Cold, Raven, Taz, and soon enough plans to enter Ahmed Johnson into the title picture will soon develop.
The USWA is looking to add another Tag Team to the division with the loss of PG-13. The company is going in the direction of gimmick teams, like the Rock N Roll Express, the Russian group, the English group of the Bulldogs, and thoughts are swirling around about extending a contract to John Layfield to team him up with Bobby Duncum Jr.
The USWA has opened up a training school. We have 15 wrestlers that will take part in 20 shows. The best wrestler from the camp will be brought into the USWA. We are two shows in and it's still early to determine who the winner of Season 1 will be, but more information about our school will be posted on the USWA website soon. J.C. Ice and Tracy Smothers have agreed to be trainers for the first season.
Plans for the Global Honored Tournament are underway for this Spring, along with a new concept based off of another promotions 4 on 4 or 5 on 5 teams face off to determine the best of the best. The name being thrown around for this new show is "Bragging Rights" this won't take place until at least the third quarter of the year.
The USWA heads to Phoenix AZ to tape another set of Challenge and Velocity shows, then we finish up the West Coast Tour in San Diego with our Series Finale! The March schedule will be available soon.
The USWA has released Shane Douglas from his contract. We also have a few big names with contracts ready to expire. New Jack being one of them. Some in the USWA do not think he will be resigned.

Good news and bad news (mostly bad.)
It's been a headache of a day for computer problems, but a few things have been taken care of. First thing is first, the USWA WEBSITE will finally be posted in the next few hours. I have the entire site built on my computer, but for some reason when I transfer it to my host server it's giving me problems. My hosting service finally changed my package to a linux so it can host .php files. The problem is I now have to rebuild the entire website ON my host server. Some of it is up, but I'll be working on it for the next few hours. It's a lot of copying and pasting from here on out.
The VERY VERY bad news. While trying to partition an external hard drive I accidentally partitioned my Windows Vista drive on my Mac, which had my TNM in it. Needless to say my TNM is gone, and so is my USWA promotion. I ran 2 TV tapings (1 that is above, and another which I planned to post tonight) but basically I will need to reinstall TNM tonight and get everything back up and running and run some shows. I'm so mad at myself, but problems like this have happened to me so many times, that's why I host the history of my fed on the internet.
No matter how many times I need to reinstall I will always have everything up on the website.
I'm hoping to be back up and running in the next few days since things are very slow at work.
I should have my entire site published in the next 3 hours, so take a look at the new look! Hopefully you guys enjoy it!

Bradley tells the fans he knows he hasn't always been the most liked guy in the company. He knew that he lost a lot of the fans support when he turned his back on Jerry Lynn last year, but now the shoe is on the other foot. Bradley is the X-Division champion, taking on all comers, and now Steve Corino, a guy that had the fans back, has decided to manage a few professional wrestlers careers, and now that the fans have turned on him, they've looked toward Steve Bradley to stop him in his tracks.
Bradley says that he appreciates the fans being behind him, although they don't have a great past, he's looking at the future, and the future tells him that Steve Corino and his Corino Family don't stand a chance at taking this title away from him!

Ahmed takes the high road and says that he has a good relationship with Taz and he isn't concerned about when that shot will come, because he knows that eventually Bill Dundee won't be able to look past him!
Lance mentions that he does NOT have a match in San Diego and asks for his thoughts on that.

[Taz enters the ring to a huge ovation from the fans.]

Interview Sit Down interview with Low-Ki
[V/O of Dave Brown talking about his sit down interview with Low KI]
Dave Brown begins the interview asking why someone who has the title around his waist would do such a thing to another human being.
[footage of last weeks attack air]
Low Ki says that Christopher Daniels lost at Christmas Chaos, he lost at New Years Revolution, and he doesn't get the hint. He then tries to hit on Trinity, and it started to get personal. Low Ki says that not only was Daniels trying to beat him in the ring, he made it personal when he tried to take his girlfriend! Thats why he did what he did, and he isn't sorry about it.
Dave Brown tells Ki that this is not the behavior of a champion.
Low Ki says that he doesn't care what anyone thinks of his behavior. He is a violent man who has worked hard to win this title for a long time. He won't let anyone threaten him.
Dave Brown asks Low-Ki if he knows exactly the damage he has done to Daniels.
Ki says he heard that he has a collapsed lung, and Ki says that it should be chalked up as a lesson learned for him. No more going after his girlfriend, no more title shots. Back down to the beginning rungs of the ladder.
Dave says after the attack Dundee wasn't left with many options for an opponent for him in San Diego, but Jerry Lawler has stepped up to the plate and will get that title shot!
Low Ki laughs at the fact that Jerry Lawler has been racking up wins in the Mid South and now all of a sudden he is a top contender. Low Ki says that if Lawler is the competition that is going to be put in his way, he is going to be the Global champion for a long time.
Dave Brown says that Lawler won't take it easy on him in that match, and he could leave the West Coast as the new Global Champion.
Low Ki says that he will be lucky to walk out of that ring on his own two feet this weekend.

The New Bolsheviks (Vladimir Kozlov and Alex Koslov) defeated Lover And Psicosis (Latin Lover and Psicosis) when V. Kozlov pinned Psicosis with the Russian Rack in 0:07:14. Rating: ** 1/4
The number one contenders get the victory, but the biggest news is the demise of Lover and Psicosis as a tag team. These two took the fight to each other after Psicosis was defeated. Lover and Psicosis fought to the back of the locker room as the Bolsheviks went to the announcers table.
Interview with Bolsheviks
[Corey Macklin talks to Alex Kozlov and Vladimir]
Corey reminds the Bolsheviks about their 3 point and the number one contender ranking to the Tag Team Titles.
Kozlov in very broken English says the BullDogs are going to be destroyed!
Corey asks Vladimir what his thoughts are on the upcoming match?

Corey ends the interview joking that we may need to hire a translator for these two.

Raven talks about being choked out by Taz
[Raven is walking around outside downtown Phoenix]
Raven mentions how the downtown Phoenix area is a full of life. The hot sun, the stores and restaurants. Everywhere you go downtown is signs of life in the downtown area.
Last week Taz tried to take his life when he choked him out during the main event, but what Taz failed to realize was that it isn't Ravens time to die!
Raven says that Bill Dundee is a smart man, he put me in a #1 contenders match on Sunday, but that just means that the time as Taz being the Heavyweight champion is soon coming to an end, and Too Cold Scorpio's time in the spotlight is fading faster than my consciousness last week at the hands of Taz.
Quote he Raven....nevermore...
Bobby Fish pinned Alex Shelley with the Falcon Arrow in 0:09:10. Rating: ** 3/4 [Steve Corino interfered against Alex Shelley.]
Bobby Fish gets a victory over Alex Shelley, who had Steve Bradley at his side for the match. During the match Alex Shelley was attempting to climb the ropes and finish off Fish with a 450 splash. Cornio grabbed the leg of Shelley to try to make him fall. Bradley jumped up on the ring apron and Fish made it to his feet and delivered a drop kick to Bradley. With the referee distracted Corino hit Shelley with a pair of brass knuckles, allowing Fish to hit the Falcon Arrow for the win.

[Lance Russell brings out Konnan to a loud ovation!]
Lance says that all the talking and all the fighting to get the shot is over. The only thing left to do is win!
Konnan says that he is excited for this opportunity and can't wait to face Taz in the ring in his hometown. Konnan tells everyone they won't be disappointed with his performance tomorrow night and he is going to win this for all his Mexican American fans!
Konnan says that after the match him and Taz will continue to be friends, but with all the fans on his side in his hometown, the momentum is in his favor to hold his first USWA Heavyweight title belt!
Lance says that Konnan deserves the match and has fought some of the best wrestlers in the world to get to this point. Lance wishes him luck and says we will have Taz in action when we return!
[commercial break]
Taz made Bobby Duncum Jr. submit to the Tazmission in 0:15:22. Rating: *** 3/4 [Raven interfered against Taz.]
Raven continues to get involved in the matches with Taz, but even with outside distractions Taz was able to get the victory with his Tazmission finisher! Some are speculating as to why Konnan didn't attempt to stop Raven from attacking Taz during the match the same way Taz stopped him during his #1 contenders match last week.

USWA MileStone Series Finale 2.23.2003 San Diego, CA
Two-out-of-three-Falls Match With Captain's Rules Latin Lover, Cyclope and Ultimo Guerrero beat Psicosis, Delirious and Universo 2000 3 falls to 1: x Cyclope beat Delirious via the Halloween Driver in 0:06:21 x Universo 2000 beat U. Guerrero via the Power Bomb in 0:08:55 x L. Lover beat Psicosis via the Magistral Cradle in 0:13:12 Rating: ***
We started off the action tonight with an unadvertised six man lucha style match. Latin Lover and Psicosis have ended their relationship and they teamed up with others to take their feud to a new level. In the end Latin Lover scored the second pinfall for his team with a Magistral Cradle over former tag partner Psicosis. A wild Lucha Libre opener for a HOT San Diego crowd!
Chad Collyer pinned Matt Sydal after the Tumbleweed in 0:07:41. Rating: *** 1/2
Chad Collyer moved up the X-Division ladder with a victory over Matt Sydal. Collyer will most likely be looking at a title shot against the winner of tonight's X-Title match.
Chris Benoit made Sean Morley submit to the Crippler Crossface in 0:12:28. Rating: *** 3/4
Chris Benoit continues to rack up victories in the heavyweight division. A victory tonight over Sean Morley puts him in a position to have a featured match on our next Pay-Per View. Chris Benoit still has unfinished business with Samoa Joe and Jun Akiyama. We could see that come to a head at Super Brawl!
The Bulldogs (Doug Williams and Harry Smith) defeated The New Bolsheviks (Vladimir Kozlov and Alex Koslov) when Williams pinned A. Koslov with the Northern Lights Suplex in 0:11:21. Rating: **** 1/4 (The Bulldogs retained the Tag Team Title.)
People are still talking about this match. Doug Williams was able to escape the russian rack, roll out of the ring, grab a fire extinguisher and blast Alex Koslov over the head with it. Williams executed the Northern Lights Suplex and The Bulldogs retained the titles in an AMAZING Tag Title Match.
Top Contenders Match Raven pinned Too Cold Scorpio with the Evenflow DDT in 0:07:21. Rating: ** 1/2
Raven was able to beat Too Cold Scorpio with his DDT finisher in this top contenders match. Raven will get a heavyweight title shot in the near future, but some are saying it might not be at the Pay Per View.
Low-Ki made Jerry Lawler submit to a Fujiwara armbar in 0:12:57. Rating: *** 1/2 (Low-Ki retained the Global Title.)
Low-Ki did exactly what he said and he took a beating to Jerry Lawler. Ki retained his title and went above and beyond to attack Lawler after the match. Out comes AHMED JONHSON who had a stare down with Low Ki. Ki did not back down to Johnson although he gives up 100+ pounds of muscle! Johnson helped Lawler to his feet as Low Ki and Trinity grabbed the Global Title and went to the back.
Vampiro pinned Colt Cabana with the Nail In The Coffin in 0:13:23. Rating: ****
In a match that has been discussed and highlighted on Challenge for weeks, Vampiro gets the victory over Colt Cabana with the Nail in the Coffin finisher. This was an excellent match with Cabana getting a few near falls, but in the end Vampiro gets the win. No interference occurred in this match at all, which was surprising.
Bobby Fish pinned Steve Bradley with the Falcon Arrow in 0:17:34. Rating: **** 1/4 (Bobby Fish won the X-Division Title.)
It was a match of the night candidate along with two other title matches, but Bobby Fish defeated Steve Bradley with a nasty Falcon Arrow finisher and becomes the new X-Division champion under the guidance of Steve Corino. Fish was ecstatic with his victory over Bradley and hugged Corino in the ring. Bradley looked disappointed in the loss, but has vowed that he will continue to wrestle in the X-Division and become the first ever three time champion!
Taz made Konnan submit to the Tazmission in 0:26:09. Rating: ***** (Taz retained the Heavyweight Title.) [Latin Lover interfered against Konnan.]
Our Main Event is our first match of the year candidate. A 5 star classic as Taz gets a victory over Konnan in his hometown. The story of the match was the interference of Latin Lover on Konnan around the 8 minute mark. Lover ambushed Konnan and violently attacked him with a chair outside the ring. Micky Jay called for the DQ giving Konnan the win, but Konnan crawled to Jay and begged to restart the match because he was determined to win the title for his fans. Bill Dundee came out to check on Konnans condition as he continued to plead for the match to continue. Dundee called for the match to continue and in the end Taz locked on the Tazmission around the 26 minute mark to retain his title! How could Latin Lover cost one of his countrymen the opportunity to become the USWA Champion? Fans were throwing garbage at Lover as he left the ringside area. Lover had to be escorted out of the building as the Latino heavy crowd was ready to riot at the fact that Konnan didn't win the title.
Backstage Notes:
Milestone Series Finale will go down as our best card to date in 2003. The last three matches along with the Tag Title match were four of the best matches in the USWA this year.
Big news coming out of tonights show is Latin Lover pushing himself way up the card and has made a statement attacking Konnan in arguably Konnans most high profile USWA match of his career. Konnan loses in front of a ROCKING crowd that was here only to see Konnan win the title from Taz. Lover turned on his partner Psicosis, and now has gone into business by himself to attack Konnan.
The Bulldogs have been getting a lot of heat for not competing in tag team action as of late, tonight they took on the undefeated New Bolsheviks, but proved why they are the USWA Tag Team champions. A victory tonight in a hot tag team match proved why Smith and Williams are the champs.
Raven wins a number one contenders match over Scorpio in singles action. Some are wondering if Raven will get the PPV match at SuperBrawl, or will he get that title match before? Will Konnan get another shot at the title? Or has Latin Lover cost him his only opportunity?
-Sonny Trout has given notice to the USWA and will be leaving the company. -The Island Boys have signed a contract and will debut on our next set of TV tapings.

I took a little break to do something I've been wanting to do forever. I went back and went through each individual show from 2000-2001 to get the rankings/standings of all the wrestlers.
2001 sucks for my fed because a lot of it was unbooked, which caused tons of odd finishes, along with waaay to many "new" guys coming into the company. (72 different tag teams debuted in 2001, as an example.) I am going to get all the records of 2002 and what I've done so far in 2003 up on the website before I continue. This gives me a better idea of the big names in my fed.
So check out the website if your interested in who wrestled in the 2001 season and their records.

Taz calls out Raven!

Taz says that he feels bad for Konnan that he didn't get the job done, but thats the breaks. Dundee says that he has scheduled a six man tag for tonights main event and Taz won't have to wait until SuperBrawl to get his hands on Raven, because tonight Taz will team with the USWA Tag Team Champions, The Bulldogs, to take on Raven and the #1 contenders to the Tag titles, the new Bolsheviks!

Ahmed Johnson pinned Bobby Duncum Jr. with the Pearl River Plunge in 0:10:22. Rating: * 1/2
Ahmed Johnson gets a victory over the big Bobby Duncum Jr. and continues his winning streak here in the USWA. Ahmed Johnson is being discussed as the next contender to Low-Ki's Global Title. He wanted a shot at the heavyweight title, but Taz has too many contenders staring him down to give Ahmed the title shot anytime soon.
Bobby Fish and Steve Corino address the crowd.
[Steve Corino in the ring introduces the NEW X-Division Champion Bobby Fish!]
Fish comes out to a mixed reaction from the crowd, grabs the mic and tells Corino that hiring him as his Manager and Adviser was the best thing he ever did for his career. Overnight he went from being another guy in the X-Division, to becoming the top dog in the division!
Fish tells Steve Bradley that he had a nice title reign. When he came back to the USWA and watched Jerry Lynn take over the division, he had that burning feeling that he needed to step back in the ring, but he went about doing that by stabbing Lynn in the back and then making a rise to fame in the X-Division.
Granted, it was successful, but in the end, that X-Division title reign is over and we begin A NEW, with the Corino family!
Steve Corino grabs the mic and tells Steve Bradley that he hates his guts, and he plans on doing anything in his power to make sure his time in the USWA isn't a very pleasant one. Corino says that AJ Styles has been taken into the Corino family, and that since he is the man that controls the championship, then he will make sure his client gets a title shot! AND of course we have one more guy in the USWA that has made it clear he is gunning for Bobby Fish, and thats C.M. Punk.
Corino welcomes Punk back to the most exciting division in the company, and tells him that YES, he was a former USWA champion, but he is going to have to climb the ladder just like everyone else if he expects a shot at Bobby Fish's title.
Steve then takes the rest of the time to promote the fact that he is more than welcome to expand his services to both the Heavyweight and Tag Team divisions for anyone who feels they are undervalued, under appreciated, and underpaid!

Corino meets up with Steve Bradley backstage.
[Steve Bradley is walking backstage when he passes by Corino.]
Corino tells Bradley that he has a little inside information for him. Bradley doesn't want to give him the time of day, but he is intrigued.
Corino said that he knows he THINKS he is going to get a rematch for the X-Division title, but according to some recent documents, he will be facing off against the Corino family's own A.J. Styles next week! If somehow he is able to beat Styles, only THEN will he even be in the discussion of a rematch for the title!

Taz scolds the Bulldogs backstage.
[The Bulldogs are backstage talking when Taz comes up to them.]
Taz gets in the face of Harry Smith and tells him that he better have his back tonight against Raven and those new Russian thugs. Taz goes on to tell both Williams and Smith that he doesn't like them, but he is willing to get in that ring tonight with them in order to get his hands on Raven.
Williams assures Taz that all of their heat is in the past, and tonight they have their focus on getting a victory over The New Bolsheviks, and giving Raven a beat down as well!
[As the camera follows Taz and Doug Williams toward the ring, a masked man clobbers Harry Smith over the head with a knight stick and takes off.]
Williams screams for a doctor, and it looks like Harry Smith is knocked out right before the match is about to begin!
Two-out-of-three-Falls Match With Captain's Rules The New Bolsheviks (Vladimir Kozlov and Alex Koslov) and Raven beat Taz, Doug Williams and Too Cold Scorpio 2 falls to 0: x Raven beat Taz via disqualification in 0:18:34 Rating: ** 1/4 [Harry Smith interfered against Raven.] (Harry Smith no-showed.)
A wild finish to our wild main event. Harry Smith was taken out just minutes before the match was about to begin. As Williams and Taz came to the ring and told them they would do a handicap match, 2 Cold Scorpio's music plays and Scorpio agrees to join Taz for the match. During the final minutes of the match, a dazed and wounded Harry Smith makes his way down to the ring and attacks Raven! This causing a DQ finish and a win for Raven and the New Bolsheviks!
Backstage Notes:
The USWA Tag Team Division is in a serious rebuild. Four teams have either split up or left the company one way or another within the last two months. PG-13, Mexico's Most Wanted, Latin Lover and Psicosis, and now the Southern Posse will soon be gone.
With that the USWA has hired The Island boys. The USWA was also looking for a Jr. Heavyweight babyface tag team to replace the likes of Psicosis and Lover. A call to New Japan to hire Jushin Lyger and Nakanishi was made, but they are not willing to come in at the time. Instead the USWA has reached out to a former team, the S.A.T.'s which will be making their way back to the company.
The S.A.T.'s have not had a lot of luck in the past, but with a tag team division full of older teams, and some new teams, we could see the competition be a little more even.
The Tag Team Division now includes 1. The Bulldogs, 2. The Texas Hangmen 3. Universo 2000 and Delirious 4. The Island Boys 5. S.A.T.'s 6. Memphis Legends 7. The New Bolsheviks. 8. The Rock N Roll Express.
With Ricky Morton out of action for a few weeks, and The Southern Posse on the way out, look for Robert Gibson to continue to take on singles competition.
The other main story coming out of our first night in Dallas, is the official announcement of Raven challenging Taz for the Heavyweight title at our next PPV SuperBrawl. We will continue to keep an eye on the card as it develops.
Tomorrow night we return for a second set of Challenge and Velocity tapings, with what some are saying will be a huge reaction as Latin Lover and Konnan are both scheduled to be here. Another large Mexican American City of Dallas should keep this angle hot as we head into USWA SuperBrawl!
