PCW: Heatwave – 08/10/2013 – Independence Events Center (Independence, MO) Commentators: Alfred Pressley & James Westerfield Attendance: 5,684 / 5,800 (98%)
1). Andy Ridge vs. Grizzly Redwood – The opening match saw the debut of Andy “Right Leg” Ridge, who started his career in the Northeast, taking on Grizzly Redwood – a man who had a previously short stint with the company. These two “cruiserweights” started off the even with a show of kicks and aerial moves, with both men picking up a couple near-falls. Once things found their way into the ringside area, Redwood used the ring post and the guardrail to weaken Ridge’s back. However, back in the ring, Ridge was able to fight back even after being locked into the STO. Both men started to show signs of fatigue towards the end of the match, when Ridge ducked up a clothesline attempt and stopped Redwood cold with a Superkick for the victory.
Andy Ridge pinned Grizzly Redwood with the Superkick in 15:57. (2.25)
Interview: Brooke Barlow interviews Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley about the confrontation she had with Solo Darling on PCW Wrestling this past week. Ripley says that Crazy Mary Dobson is sending her friends to talk trash for her. Ripley says that’s OK because all it does is show that Dobson isn’t woman enough to say it herself.
Segment: Bobby Roode is seen standing alone somewhere inside the arena, pacing back and forth in front of the camera. He says that he’s been in this position before, exactly one year ago. That night, he left with the PCW Heavyweight Championship in his possession. He acknowledges that OKADA is a great wrestler and not someone to take lightly. Roode stops, looking into the camera, and says that OKADA might be “the man” in Japan, but after tonight, Roode will be “the man” in PCW once again.
Interview: Brooke Barlow is standing with Commissioner Rex Butler outside of his office in the back of the arena and says that the Commissioner has something to share. Butler smiles as he thanks Brooke and says that there will be small snippets seen throughout the night of what he has in store for the PCW; but Tuesday night, he will make an announcement that will turn the company on its ear. He warns that a lot of men and women on the roster will be looking over their shoulder after tonight.
2). Melina vs. © Rhea Ripley [PCW Women’s Championship Match] – Rhea Ripley made huge waves when she debuted last month, and quickly unseated Crazy Mary Dobson for the Women’s Championship. She was looking to retain the title against Melina, who mad no qualms about reminding people she had worked hard to earn her title shot. A battle of “veteran vs. rookie”, both women gave it their all in this contest. Things got interesting as CRAZY MARY DOBSON made her way to ringside late in the match, sharing words with Melina – who had just defeated Dobson on Tuesday night. However, with the referee pushing Melina away from the ropes, Dobson attacked Ripley from behind! Ripley attempted to retaliate, but Melina caught her with a forearm smash that wobbled her knees. Melina rolled Ripley up for the cover to become the NEW champion!
[PCW Women’s Championship Match]: Melina pinned Rhea Ripley after a forearm smash in 13:42. (2.50) [Crazy Mary Dobson interfered against Rhea Ripley.]
Interview: Brooke Barlow is seen standing with PCW Television Champion Justin Gabriel backstage and asks him about tonight’s title defense against Daniel Bryan. Gabriel says that he’d be lying if he wasn’t a little upset that Drew McIntyre wasn’t added to this match, but says it proves how much McIntyre didn’t want another shot at the title. He says, officially, after their match on Tuesday night, that chapter is finished and it’s time he moves on. Gabriel promises to end another chapter tonight, before it even starts, after he beats Bryan. As Gabriel walks away, he is stopped by Bryan, who says that the chapter Gabriel’s on is just being written and may have a different ending than he’s expecting.
Segment: IWGP Heavyweight Champion Okada is shown standing alone backstage, with the title belt over his shoulder. Looking into the camera, he says that he is “the man” in New Japan Pro Wrestling. And, tonight, he could become a champion on two different continents. Okada says that if he’s able to beat Bobby Roode tonight, he would be able to call himself a universal champion… known for being the best around the world.
3). Kenny King/Rhett Titus vs. David Otunga/Shinya Ishikawa [PCW Tag Team Championship Match] – On the July 16 episode of PCW Wrestling the PCW Tag Team Championships were vacated, when Austin Aries left the company. The next week, on July 23, it was announced that these two teams would face off for the vacated titles. Heading into this match, Otunga was the only participant who had previously held the title, so it was clear that a lot was riding on this contest. Otunga and Ishikawa have made quite a team since joining together so their partnership was not in question, unlike King and Titus who have had an on-again-off-again friendship since their mini-feud in the Spring. But with a title opportunity hanging in the balance, they seemingly put their differences aside for the common good. However, Otunga and Ishikawa proved harder to put down than they may have thought, and this caused The Express to resort to questionable tactics. The end of the match saw a brawl between all four men break out in the middle of the ring. As the referee tried to get Otunga out of the ring, Kenny King grabbed a steel chair before re-entering the ring and cracking it across Titus’ back! King tossed the chair to Ishikawa who, in shock, caught it. The referee turned around, saw Ishikawa holding the chair, and called for the bell!
Otunga and Ishikawa pleaded with the referee, but it was announced that due to the DQ, the Tag Team Titles would remain vacant.
[PCW Tag Team Championship Match]: The All-Night Express (Kenny King & Rhett Titus) defeated David Otunga & Shinya Ishikawa by DQ in 17:35. (0.75)
Interview: Brooke Barlow is seen with Daniel Bryan, who says that he has always been good at keeping his promises because he likes feeling the pressure on his shoulders. He says that having the Television Title on the line isn’t enough, and that if he is unable to defeat Justin Gabriel tonight, it will be his last night in PCW.
An advertisement for the next PCW “special event” Collision Course is shown.
4). Matt Morgan vs. Mark Henry – In a match that shocked the crowd when the participants were announced, HWL’s Matt Morgan took on former WWE Superstar Mark Henry. The World’s Strongest Man had a tough time with The Blueprint in a battle of big men. Morgan used his cardiovascular advantage to wind Henry, but Morgan was stopped could with a shoulder tackle. Henry worked over Morgan in the corners, using his size to knock Morgan’s breath out with an avalanche in the corner. Both men were showing signs of fatigue at the end of the match, but Morgan was able to connect with the Carbon Footprint, but only got a two-count from the referee! With his last burst of strength, Morgan was able to lift Henry with a vertical suplex side slam. Henry did not have enough energy to kick out as Morgan was awarded the three-count.
Matt Morgan pinned Mark Henry after a vertical suplex side slam in 13:22. (0.75)
Interview: Wade Barrett is see standing in front of a monitor backstage, when he is approached by Brooke Barlow, who asks for a response to the comments made by Jey Uso earlier in the show. Barrett says that he’s out to send a message to the people in the PCW that have underestimated him. Unfortunately for Uso, he was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Barrett turns his attention back to the monitoring, apparently ending the interview.
5). Daniel Bryan vs. © Justin Gabriel [PCW Television Championship Match] – Justin Gabriel has etched his name into the history of the Television Championship, as he comes into this match in the midst of his fifth reign with the title. Daniel Bryan, a four-time Heavyweight Champion in his own right, would prove to be the toughest opponent in recent memory. Bryan would fall back on his mat-wrestling to keep Gabriel out of the air. The gameplan worked, as Gabriel used up his energy attempting to break the holds and/or reaching the ropes. Gabriel turned things around, when he showed that he had a ground game too, locking Bryan in a Koji Clutch. After Bryan was able to reach the ropes, Gabriel rolled out of the ring to catch his breath. As he leaned against the guardrail, Bryan got to his feet and attempted a dive through the ropes, only to have Gabriel move and Bryan crashed into guardrail. Gabriel rolled Bryan into the ring and connected with a 450 splash for the 1-2-3!
[Television Championship Match]: Justin Gabriel pinned Daniel Bryan with a 450 Splash in 16:10. (3.25)
Segment: A video camera catches Commissioner Rex Butler pacing in the back, talking to someone on a cell phone. Butler can be heard thanking the person he’s talking to. As he turns around, he notices the camera and quickly hangs up the phone, entering his office and slamming the door.
6). OKADA vs. Bobby Roode [PCW Heavyweight Championship Match] – Three weeks ago, Commissioner Butler signed this match to name a new champion in the wake of Austin Aries vacating the title. Roode came to the ring looking determined to taste singles gold for the second time. OKADA made a grand entrance with pyro and streamers from the ceiling. In the ring, he was not shy about showing Roode the IWGP Heavyweight Title before the match. After the bell rang, the match turned into an all-out brawl between two heavy hitters. Roode proved that he would win a fist fight early on and used his strikes to take control of the match, picking up a near-fall in the opening few minutes. OKADA found an opening and started landing knee strikes to the Roode’s body and head, evening things out. OKADA had his own near-fall after hitting a swinging neck-breaker, but Roode broke the count by getting his foot on the ropes. OKADA looked poised to strike again, waiting for Roode to get to his feet, but he stopped as DAVEY BOY SMITH, JR appeared at ringside, grabbing the IWGP Title from the time-keeper’s table. OKADA got out of the ring to confront Smith, as did the referee. Distracted, no one saw Smith slide the title into the ring, which Roode picked up. As the referee told OKADA to get in the ring and admonished Smith, Roode hit OKADA in the back of the head with the title, staggering him. With Smith walking away from ringside, the referee re-entered the ring just as Roode hit the Payoff to cover OKADA for the tainted victory!
[PCW Heavyweight Championship Match]: Bobby Roode pinned OKADA after hitting him with the title belt in 18:03. (3.50) [Davey Boy Smith, Jr. interfered against OKADA.]

PCW Wrestling – 08/13/13 – Family Arena (St. Charles, MO) Announcers: Alfred Pressley & James Westerfield Attendance: 6,699 / 10,467 (64%)
A video package opened up the show, with Commissioner Rex Butler standing inside his office. Butler announced that he and Peter Bradshaw have had numerous conversations over the past several weeks about changing the landscape of Premier Championship Wrestling. Last week, Bradshaw OK’d the signing of a handful of new talent, some of which would be on display tonight as part of a tournament to determine the Number One Contender for Bobby Roode and the PCW Heavyweight Championship.
1). Mike Bennett (w/Maria Kanellis) vs. Jerry Lynn – “The Epic” Mike Bennett – formerly a member of Ring of Honor – came to the ring with his valet/girlfriend Maria Kanellis tonight, as it was announced that this match was a semi-final match in the Number One Contenders Tournament. Bennett’s opponent, formerly of TNA Wrestling, was Jerry Lynn. A veteran of many promotions around the world, Lynn had the experience advantage; but Bennett made up for that in youth and energy. That youthfulness wound up causing Bennett to make a number of mistakes that nearly cost him the match early on, but just as he was making a comeback, Lynn took advantage of one of those mistakes. As Lynn climbed the turnbuckle, Maria jumped onto the apron, sweeping Lynn’s leg off the rope and causing him to fall onto the rope anchor. The referee quickly called for the bell as Maria jumped down to the floor.
Inside the ring, Bennett dragged Lynn to the canvas and assaulted him before PCW officials rushed down to the ring. Bennett slid outside, escaping down the aisle with Maria, as the crowd roared with boos.
Jerry Lynn defeated Mike Bennett by DQ in 7:15. (2.75) [Maria Kanellis interfered against Jerry Lynn.]
Commercial Break
Returning from the break, Rhea Ripley was shown in the backstage dressing room, where she was approached by Crazy Mary Dobson, Solo Darling and Daffney. Dobson said that Ripley may not be champion anymore, but it didn’t change the fact that her issues with Ripley were settled. She then challenged Ripley to a match next week. Dobson and Darling both shoved Ripley before leaving, and Daffney told Ripley to be careful before leaving as well.
2). Cody Rhodes vs. Jon Ryan – It was announced on Monday night that Rhodes would be facing John Cena for the chance to challenge CM Punk at HWL’s Hostile Takeover event for the HWL Heavyweight Title. Before he could get there, Rhodes had a tough challenge in Jon Ryan. Ryan has mostly been seen as a tag wrestler but had the opportunity to show what he could do on his own. However, it looked like he was more willing to show what kind of person he is, as he pulled out a pair of brass knuckles behind the referee’s back and tried to catch Rhodes unaware. Rhodes ducked the punch and connected with a DDT. Rhodes picked up Ryan and connected with the Cross Rhodes before covering him for the victory.
After the match, Rhodes left the ring celebrating as the show went to commercials.
Cody Rhodes pinned Jon Ryan with the Cross Rhodes in 7:12. (2.75)
Commercial Break
An advertisement for the next PCW pay-per-view event, Collision Course is shown. The even will be held on September 7th, from the Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Jacksonville, Florida!
3). Latin American Xchange vs. Unholy Alliance – Tonight’s tag match started off with the introduction of LAX, but Homicide did not accompany Hernandez to the ring. Standing on the ramp, Hernandez promised to beat the ass of whoever is behind Homicide’s absence. It was announced that ANDY RIDGE would be filling in for Homicide tonight, and disappointed, Hernandez made his way to the ring. Then the lights went out and the familiar gong could be heard throughout the arena, announcing the arrive of “The Deadman”. The Undertaker and The Big Show have apparently rejoined forces as The Unholy Alliance and sent a shockwave through the crowd. On paper, this match would have been handedly decided in The Alliance’s favor, but Hernandez was determined to make good on his promise. Her and Ridge devised a plan to focus on the Undertaker’s legs, keeping him immobile as they double-teamed The Big Show. Using both of their strength, they were able to put The Big Show in position for the Gringo Killa. Hernandez made the cover for the massive upset.
After the match, Hernandez and Ridge made their way up the ramp as the crowd looked on in shock.
Hernandez & Andy Ridge defeated The Unholy Alliance (The Big Show & The Undertaker) when Hernandez pinned The Big Show with the Gringo Killa in 6:39. (2.75) (Homicide no-showed.)
Backstage, in the locker room, Rhett Titus confronted Kenny King about hitting Titus in the back with a chair, only to get Otunga and Ishikawa disqualified on Saturday night. King looked away, not answering. Titus grabbed him by the arm and asked why King hit is own partner with a steel chair, only to wind up NOT winning the Tag Team Titles. King closed his eyes, took a deep breath and pushed Titus away from him before walking out of the locker room. Titus stood staring at the door as the show went to commercials.
Commercial Break
Brooke Barlow is seen standing with Tarkan Aslan backstage as the show returned. In a heavy German accent, Aslan blamed Wade Barrett for the injury suffered by Jey Uso, an act that Barrett has not denied. Since Uso had not been cleared for a return to action, Aslan thought it was only right that he stand up for his partner. He then challenged Barrett to a singles match, next week before walking away.
4). The Miz (w/Maryse) vs. Sin Cara – The final match of the night would also be the second match in the four-man tournament to name a new challenge for Bobby Roode’s Heavyweight Championship. The Miz came out first, accompanied by his wife Maryse, to a loud ovation from the crowd. Sin Cara was then introduced and it was discussed how these two styles were very different, and it would be intriguing to see who gets the upper hand. Whenever The Miz was on offense, he would showboat to the crowd and attempt to rip off Sin Cara’s mask. Sin Cara fought back, but his efforts would be cut short by interference by Maryse. The interference eventually backfired as the referee caught Maryse in the act, admonishing her to the back. This distracted Miz long enough for Sin Cara to hit a Spanish Fly for the 1-2-3.
After the match, Sin Cara celebrated his victory on his way up the aisle when he was stopped by JERRY LYNN. The two men stared each other before Lynn offered his hand. After a moment, Sin Cara shook the offered hand as it was announced that they would face each other, next week, with a Heavyweight Championship match hanging in the balance.
Sin Cara pinned The Miz with the Spanish Fly in 10:31. (2.00) [Maryse interfered against Sin Cara.]

PCW Wrestling #159 – 08/20/13 – Williams Arena (University of Minnesota) – Minneapolis, MN Announcers: Alfred Pressley & James Westerfield Attendance: 1,120 (14%)
A recap video is shown where Commissioner Rex Butler announces the acquisition of new talent to bolster the PCW roster, as well as the announcement of the four-man tournament to name a new challenger for the Heavyweight Championship. The video ends as Alfred Pressley and James Westerfield welcome everyone to the campus of the University of Minnesota, where the finals of the four-man tournament will take place in a match between Jerry Lynn and Sin Cara.
Bobby Roode is seen entering the arena, where he is stopped by Brooke Barlow, asking for the champion’s thoughts on tonight’s main event. Roode says that it’s great that Rex Butler made deals to bring people in, but when the best you can do is a masked threat to everyone’s safety and a man who was past his prime nearly 10 years ago, it’s fair to say that the Heavyweight Championship is safe with Roode for quite some time. Roode walks away as the camera cuts to the ring.
Hernandez vs. The Undertaker Last week, Hernandez carried the heavy load for his team, even in the wake of Homicide’s absence, and was able to pick up a pin-fall victory over The Big Show. Tonight, he would try his luck against “The Phenom”, who watched as The Big Show ate a Gringo Killa in the center of the ring. Unfortunately for Hernandez, The Undertaker would not go down as easily. The Dead Man would take control late in the match and hit a Tombstone piledriver in the center of the ring for the 1-2-3, earning his first-ever victory in the PCW!
The Undertaker pinned Hernandez with the Tombstone in 6:35. Rating: 2.25
Commercial Break
Returning from the break, a video is played, showing the backstage confrontation between Crazy Mary Dobson and Rhea Ripley last week.
Crazy Mary Dobson (w/Daffney) vs. Rhea Ripley A feud that began over the Women’s Championship had now turned into one of retribution as Dobson continued to hold a grudge against Ripley for beating her for the title just after debuting with the company. Dobson wanted to get revenge on the rookie and made it clear that the title being involved or not didn’t make a difference. Tonight, Dobson got that sense of payback, but it came thanks to outside interference from Daffney, who distracted Ripley long enough for Dobson to chop block her. With Ripley on the ground, Dobson connected with a basement dropkick for the victory.
After the match, Dobson and Daffney left the ring laughing as Ripley slowly made her way back to her feet.
Crazy Mary Dobson pinned Rhea Ripley after a basement dropkick in 7:12. Rating: 1.00
Backstage, Brooke Barlow asks Davey Boy Smith, Jr. about his actions at the pay-per-view when he attacked Okada during the Heavyweight Championship match. Smith said that he and Okada spent some time together in New Japan, and that things didn’t end in a very positive way for Smith. He gives credit to Okada for what he’s been able to accomplish in New Japan but wonders why everyone in the U.S. is kissing his ass. Smith says he has unfinished business with Okada and wanted to remind him of that fact at the best time, and that’s why he did what he did. Smith says if Okada has an issue with that, he’s not a hard guy to find. Smith walks away as the show goes to commercials.
Commercial Break
Returning from the break, a vignette is shown of Commissioner Rex Butler announcing that there would be a battle royal, held next week, to determine the new challenger to Justin Gabriel and the PCW Television Championship.
A video is then played recapping the attack on Jey Uso by Wade Barrett that injured Uso’s shoulder a few weeks ago.
Tarkan Aslan vs. Wade Barrett As the previous video showed, Barrett had done quite a number on Uso’s shoulder, which ultimately led to Uso being forced to stay home. Aslan, in the name of defending his tag partner, wanted another shot at Barrett due to his actions. Barrett was more than happy to agree to the match and wasted no time to claiming control. Aslan fought back as best he could against the bigger man, but Barrett quickly put an end to any of his offense. The match ended after Barrett hit the Wasteland on Aslan for the victory.
After the match, Barrett decided to send a message to both Asland and Uso by attacking Aslan. As is his MO, Barrett focused on Aslan’s shoulder, attempting to injure it in the same way. Before he could inflict too much damage, JEY USO rushed to the ring, finally getting his hands on Barrett! Uso and Barrett brawled momentarily before Aslan got to his feet and helped his partner clear the ring. As Barrett stormed off up the aisle, Aslan and Uso stared him down while the crowd cheered. The show went to commercials as Aslan and Uso shook hands.
Wade Barrett pinned Tarkan Aslan after The Wasteland in 12:55. Rating: 1.75
Commercial Break
An image is posted on the screen when the show returns, as it is announced that Rhett Titus will face David Otunga next week with the stipulation that the winner’s team will choose the match type for the PCW Tag Team Championship Match at Collision Course.
Tournament Finale Sin Cara vs. Jerry Lynn Before tonight’s finale, Heavyweight Champion Bobby Roode had some harsh comments regarding both participants. With that as fuel tonight, both men came out wanting to prove those comments as false and earn a chance to face Roode at Collision Course. Both men are well-known for their aerial maneuvers, so it was a matter how who could string together an effective offense in order to pick up the victory. Thear appeared to be Lynn, and it was clear that Sin Cara was having a difficult time creating a defense. Hitting that point, Sin Cara grabbed Lynn and tossed him outside the ring. Sin Cara then grabbed a steel chair and cracked it over Lynn’s head, causing the referee to call for the DQ.
After the match Sin Cara walked up the aisle as Bobby Roode’s music hit. Roode and Sin Cara passed in the aisleway, sharing a glance, before Roode continued down to ringside. Roode grabbed a microphone and stood off to the side as Lynn was helped to his feet. Roode said that Lynn should thank God that Sin Card obviously didn’t want a shot at Roode’s title because that’s the only way he would have received his match. Roode promised that whatever Lynn feels tomorrow, after getting hit in the head with a chair, will be nothing compared to how he feels the night after Collision Course. Roode posed with the title, mocking Lynn, as the show went off the air.
[Tournament Finale]: Jerry Lynn defeated Sin Cara by DQ in 11:08. Rating: 3.25

PCW Wrestling #161 – 09/03/2013 – Majestic Valley Arena (Kalispell, MT) Commentators: Alfred Pressley & James Westerfield Attendance: 4,340 (62%)
The showed opened with Matt Morgan standing inside the ring. After winning the 10-man battle royal last week, Morgan said that he had his sights clearly focused on Justin Gabriel and the Television Title. Morgan warned that he would be the biggest threat to Gabriel’s title reign, and that it shouldn’t be surprising when he won the title on Saturday night.
Morgan was interrupted by Davey Boy Smith, Jr, who joined Morgan in the ring, saying that he also had something to get off his chest. Wanting to be very clear, Smith said that if It were not for Okada hitting him in the back of the head with the IWGP Heavyweight Title last week, he would be the one going into Saturday night looking at ending Gabriel’s reign. But because of Okada, Smith said that he didn’t want to wait until Saturday night and issued a challenge to the New Japan star.
This brought out Commissioner Rex Butler to the stage. Butler said that since both men were apparently itching for a fight, that he had the perfect solution. Butler than signed a tag team match for the main event pitting Television Champion Justin Gabriel and Okada against Smith and Morgan. Butler walked off-stage as Smith and Morgan stared each other down.
A highlight package is shown of Abyss and Suicide eliminating each other in last week’s battle royal. After the video ended, Brooke Baldwin was shown backstage with Abyss. Abyss told Baldwin that, without a doubt, he would have been the biggest threat to Justin Gabriel’s Television Title; but because things did not go his way last week, he is going to be the biggest threat to Suicide’s career later tonight.
Mike Bennett pinned Adam Cole with the Awesome Coolness in 5:14. Rating: 2.25
Mike Bennett picked up his first victory as a member of the PCW roster tonight, defeating the returning Adam Cole in a short match, with a move he called the Awesome Coolness. The victory will propel Bennett up the standings, but it would remain to be seen what the rest of the year has in story for him. After the match, Bennett and Maria Kanellis share a passionate kiss that drew boos from the crowd.

A preview for Collision Course is played as the show returned. Collision Course is this Saturday, live from Jacksonville, Florida!
Abyss pinned Suicide after hitting him with a baseball bat in 9:05. Rating: 1.75
After being simultaneously eliminated in last week’s battle royal, this match was signed for these two men to settle their differences. Abyss made his intentions very clear in an interview earlier in the evening. All he was looking for was an opportunity. That opportunity came late in the match after Suicide had inadvertently hit the referee with a superkick! Abyss attacked, hitting the Black Hole Slam, but wasn’t satisfied “The Monster” grabbed a baseball bat covered in nails, and with the referee’s back turned, viciously hit Suicide in the back multiple times. With Suicide writhing in pain, Abyss made the cover. A groggy referee slowly made the three-count. After the match, Abyss hit another Black Hole Slam on Suicide before leaving the ring.
In the back, Brooke Baldwin was seen with Television Champion Justin Gabriel and OKADA, where she asked them about the comments made by Matt Morgan and Davey Boy Smith Jr. earlier in the evening. Gabriel said there’s no denying that Morgan is a beast, and if he were facing anyone else on Saturday night, the TV Title might be his. But he’s facing Gabriel, who said that he has overcome any- and everything that has been thrown at him since winning the title… just like Okada.
Okada then called DBS Jr.’s actions at the Heatwave pay-per-view cowardly. Okada said that what happened last week was what DBS got for wanting to be a part of Okada’s business. Okada said that they would settle things for good on Saturday night.

As the show returned, a graphic on the screen announced that there would be a Women’s Battle Royal taking place on Saturday night at Collision Course. Ray & Leon defeated The Beautiful People (Angelina Love & Velvet Sky) by pinfall in 8:05. Rating: 2.25
Tonight, saw the debut of two former HWL Women’s Champions – Love and Sky – who have reformed their popular tag team here in PCW. Also debuting tonight were Ray and Leon, who had made a name for themselves in Japan. Obviously, a clash of styles in this match, with Ray and Leon using high-risk moves to take control of the match. Love and Sky held their own throughout this one, but it would be a Sky Twister by Ray that finished off Velvet for the victory. After the match, it was announced that all four women would be taking part in the Women’s Battle Royal at Collision Course!

Justin Gabriel & Okada defeated Davey Boy Smith, Jr. and Matt Morgan by pinfall in 12:56. Rating: 3.00
Just days before these four men would face each other at Collision Course, they took part in tonight’s main event set up by Commission Butler at the start of the show. DBS and Morgan had the size and strength advantage in his match – something they hoped to use this weekend to pick up victories. However, Gabriel and Okada have earned championship gold by overcoming the odds. That is something they did, once again, tonight as Okada connected with a Russian legsweep on Morgan to pick up the victory. After the match, Gabriel and Okada celebrated in the ring as the show went off the air.

PCW: Collision Course – 09/07/2013 – Veterans Memorial Coliseum (Jacksonville, FL) Announcers: Alfred Pressley & James Westerfield Attendance: 2,250 (15%)
Alfred Pressley and James Westerfield welcomed everyone to north Florida as the camera panned around the audience standing at ringside. Inside the ring, the camera showed the 15 women taking part in the opening match, as the announcers ran down the matches on tonight’s card. When finished, they sent things to ringside…
Angelina Love won a 15-Women Battle Royal in 1:11:26. Rating: 3.00
Angelina Love showed the tenacity to outlast 14 other women in the showcase of female talent acquired by PCW. Mena Libra was the first elimination, being thrown over the top rope by Ray. Love would toss out Nikki Bella soon after for the second elimination. While battling in the corner with Lufisto, former champion Rhea Ripley was flipped over the top rope by Mary Dobson, in a flash of their past rivalry, for the third elimination. Lufisto and Dobson started to trade punches. Dobson ducked a punch and clotheslined Lufisto for the fourth elimination. Dobson was then caught gloating and was quickly thrown over the ropes by Mickie James – making her PCW debut – for the fifth elimination. James then started fighting with Brie Bella, who dropkicked James over the ropes, but not off the apron. As James was getting to her feet, Bella snapped James’ neck on the top rope, sending James crashing to the concrete for the sixth elimination. Across the ring, Courtney Rush and KC Spinelli were going after each other. Rush ran and hit a high crossbody that sent both her and Spinelli over the top rope for the seventh and eighth eliminations. The two women were still battling as officials tried to separate them and send them down the aisleway. Brie Bella was the ninth elimination as Love and Velvet Sky teamed up to get her over the top rope. Sensing an opportunity, Leon ran towards the members of the Beautiful People with intent to eliminate them both, but Love was able to move out of the way. Instead, Sky took the brunt of Ray’s flying dropkick, and was hurdled over the top rope for the tenth elimination. Love and Leon would begin fighting, continuing from the tag team match held on Tuesday night. Again, across the ring, Dark Angel and Ray were trading blows. Angel grabbed a handful of Ray’s hair and tried pushing her over the top rope. Ray relented, winding up on the apron, but a shot to the midsection caused Angel to double-over. Ray grabbed Angel in a suplex that sent both women crashing onto the concrete – getting a “Holy sh*t!” chant from the crowd – for the eleventh and twelfth eliminations. With three women remaining, Daizee Haze focused her attention on the Leon and Love. In response, the two women would in conjunction to get the better of Haze and simultaneously throw her over the top rope for the thirteenth elimination. Leon and Love then continued their fight in what turned out to become a singles match. Love blocked a superkick attempt by Leon, sweeping her plant leg from underneath her. Love would then hit her finishing move in the middle of the ring. Afterwards, she picked up Leon and tossed her over the top rope for the fourteenth – and final – elimination! After the match, Love fell to the canvas out of exhaustion as she was announced the winner of the match!
A pre-recorded video showed Solo Darling standing with the other members of Daffney’s All-star Squad. Darling said that she has a history of being the fun-loving “Squirrel Girl” who would not amount to much during her time on the independent scene. But, since joining forces with Daffney, she now found herself in a position to prove that she was more than a silly gimmick, and she would walk out as the new Women’s Champion tonight.
Backstage, Jey Uso and Tarkan Aslan were seen backstage. Aslan told Uso that this was the night he had been waiting for; to finally get his hands on Wade Barrett. Aslan said that Uso had proven his shoulder was fully healed and that tonight, Uso would get the final word. Aslan patted Uso on the back before he left the room.
Also backstage, PCW Heavyweight Champion Bobby Roode was seen entering the arena as the announcers discussed tonight’s main event.
PCW Women’s Championship Match ©Melina defeated Solo Darling after a kneelift in 10:54 to retain the title. Rating: 3.00
After defeating the rookie sensation Rhea Ripley for the Women’s Championship at the Heatwave pay-per-view, Melina once again reigned at the top of the women’s division. Daffney’s All-Star Squad did not hide their displeasure with not having the title in their ranks and saw an opportunity for it to come back when Solo Darling was named the new challenger. Having not been taken seriously as a championship contender throughout her time on the indy circuit, Darling had tried to change her critics’ minds in the weeks leading up to this match. However, seeing that her attempts were not working, Dobson and Daffney made their way to ringside late in this match. While Daffney was arguing with the referee, Dobson grabbed hold of Melina, as Darling was poised to hit her with the title belt. Fortunately, Melina moved and Darling sent Dobson crashing to the concrete floor! Melina hit a knee lift and pinned Darling to retain the title! After the match, Melina celebrated in the ring as Daffney screamed, looking on from the aisleway.
In the back, Brooke Baldwin was seen with Wade Barrett before his match. Barrett cut off Brooke’s question and looked into the camera, saying there wasn’t enough motivational speeches Jey Uso could listen to that would prepare him for what’s coming tonight. Barrett said that the best Uso could ask for was another injured arm. Barrett walked off as the camera went black.
A camera showed Rhett Titus and Kenny King in the locker room, discussing their recent hostilities, and needing to put that behind them for the higher good of becoming Tag Team Champions.
A video package is shown, highlighting the feud between Jey Uso and Wade Barrett, including Uso’s return where he attacked Barrett two weeks ago.
Jey Uso pinned Wade Barrett with the Superfly Splash in 11:11. Rating: N/A
Seeing his first action since returning from injury, questions were raised about how well Uso’s arm/shoulder would hold up in this match. Barrett singled-in on that part of Uso’s body and focused his attention on the possibility of re-injuring it. However, even dealing with the pain of Barrett’s gameplan, Uso was able to keep fighting and take control of the match. After an impressive showing of willpower, Uso hit the Superfly Splash to pick up a very important – and emotional – victory. After the match, Uso celebrated his victory as Tarkan Aslan joined him on-stage to victorious raise Uso’s hand in the air.
Backstage, Brooke Baldwin was seen with Jerry Lynn, who would be challenging Bobby Roode for the Heavyweight Championship in the main event. Lynn said that a lot of people had lowered their expectations when it came to what he could accomplish in the ring, especially at his age. But he told Brooke that the time for talk was over and that tonight he would prove all his naysayers wrong and fly way beyond anyone’s expectations, especially those of Bobby Roode.
A video package is shown, highlighting the on-going situation between The All-Night Express and their quest to win the Tag Team Championships.
PCW Tag Team Championship Match © Shinya Ishikawa & David Otunga defeated The All-Night Express (Kenny King & Rhett Titus) by DQ in 5:22 to retain the titles. Rating: N/A [Latin-American Xchange interfered against Ishikawa & Otunga.]
The story heading into this match was whether or not King and Titus could put their differences aside and coexist long enough to dethrone the champions. That question would wind up being put on hold as HOMICIDE and HERNANDEZ made their way to the ringside area during the match. Acting like they were going to attack King and Titus, the duo slid into the ring and pounced on the champions, assaulting them as the referee called for the bell! King and Titus entered the ring, breaking up the attack and got into a shoving match with LAX. LAX backed away, leaving the ring, and posing in the aisleway as King and Titus looked on from the ring.
After the match, a video package is shown, highlighting the on-going feud between OKADA and Davey Boy Smith, Jr., including footage from New Japan Pro Wrestling.
Davey Boy Smith, Jr. pinned OKADA after a Saito Suplex in 13:48. Rating: 3.00
In a feud of back-and-forth attacks that had spread out of a month’s time, DBS and OKADA finally stood face to face tonight in Jacksonville. With a history of conflict in New Japan, it was time to see who would have the upper hand stateside. This match was more of a brawl than a technical wrestling match, with both men trying to land the biggest punch to their opponent. Inadvertently, the referee got caught in the middle of things and took a shot to the chin that knock him to the canvas. With the official down, DBS hit a low-blow on OKADA before grabbing the IWGP Heavyweight Title from ringside. DBS with OKADA with the belt before hitting a Saito Suplex as the referee was regaining his composure long enough for the slow three-count. After the match, DBS slid out of the ring, celebrating his victory as OKADA lay on the canvas.
A preview for the upcoming pay-per-view, Fall Brawl, is shown next. Fall Brawl will take place LIVE from Halifax, Nova Scotia on October 5th!
A video package is shown, highlighting the reign of Justin Gabriel as Television Champion. The announcers discussed the threat that Matt Morgan could pose to Gabriels here tonight.
PCW Television Championship Match © Justin Gabriel defeated Matt Morgan by pinfall in 10:42 to retain the title. Rating: 2.75 [Davey Boy Smith, Jr. interfered against Matt Morgan.]
“The Blueprint” was looking to take home his first championship title as a member of the PCW roster. The former HWL X-Division Champion had the look of a man who would become champion tonight, ending Gabriel’s impressive reign as champion. However, Davey Boy Smith, Jr., who was successful in the previous match, came down to ringside towards the end of the contest. The referee, distracted by DBS’ appearance, focused on getting him away from ringside. This allowed Morgan to pull out a pair of brass knuckles out of his trucks, but when he tried to hit Gabriel with them, Morgan missed. Gabriel would connect with a dropkick that caused Morgan to drop the knux on the canvas. The champion the picked up the weapon and his Morgan squarely on the jaw, before pinning him. Smith backed away from the ring and the referee turned to see the pinfall, counting to three and awarding Gabriel the victory. After the match, Gabriel was handed his title belt as he stared down the aisleway at Smith, who was standing on the stage.
Backstage, Brooke Baldwin was seen with Shinya Ishikawa and David Otunga after their successful title defense. Otunga talked about the good feelings they had for putting away the All-Night Express but was quick to address the situation with LAX. Otunga said that LAX’s appearance was not necessary tonight and that even though he and Shinya were proud to hold onto the belts, there was no denying that their victory was tainted. Brooke then announced that, because of the events that took place during their match, Commissioner Butler had signed a Number One Contender’s Match for this Tuesday between the All-Night Express and the Latin American Xchange. The winners would then get a shot at the Tag Team Championships at Fall Brawl in October.
A victory package is shown highlighting the feud between Jerry Lynn and Bobby Roode over the PCW Heavyweight Championship.
PCW Heavyweight Championship Match Jerry Lynn pinned ©Bobby Roode after a bulldog in 14:21 to win the title. Rating: 3.75
In the night’s main event, Jerry Lynn looked to dethrone Bobby Roode and become Heavyweight Champion. Since being named challenger, Lynn has heard numerous insults from Roode concerning his age, his diminished ability, and whether or not he was the right type of person to be the Top Guy in PCW. From the beginning of the match, it was clear that Roode had underestimated Lynn’s desire to prove him wrong, because that is exactly what happened! Lynn was not able to connect with his finishing move to put Roode away, but a bulldog in the center of the ring kept the champion down long enough for Lynn to secure the three-count! After the match, Lynn celebrated in the ring as the show went off the air.

A highlight package is shown from Saturday night’s Collision Course pay-per-view. After the package ends, Brooke Baldwin is seen in a red dress. He introduces PCW Commissioner Rex Butler, who appears on-stage in a green dress shirt and black slacks. Butler thanks Brooke for the introduction before saying that there were a number of things that took place on Saturday night that need to be addressed. Butler says that he’s not a big fan of watching plans get ruined because some people can’t wait their turn. He says he understands the nature of the business, that men are chomping at the bit to be the next one taking a shot at the champion. But there are protocols that must be followed he says. At Collision Course, the protocols were put in place to allow Matt Morgan his chance at dethroning Justin Gabriel and becoming the new Television Champion. However, those protocols were broken as Davey Boy Smith Jr. made his presence known during the match. Smith’s interference would ultimately wind up costing Morgan a fair shot at the TV Title, which Gabriel retained. Butler says he wants to point out that Justin Gabriel is not facing any punishment for what happened on Saturday night, as it is believed that Gabriel had no prior knowledge of Smith’s intentions. However, because of Smith’s interference – and seeing as how he is currently sitting at the number two contender’s spot for the TV Title – Butler announces that tonight’s main event would decide who would become the clear number one contender and receive a TV Title match at Fall Brawl pay-per-view. Butler thanks Brooke for her time before walking away…
At ringside, Alfred Pressley and James Westerfield welcome everyone to the Sun Dome on the campus of the University of South Florida. Four big matches have been announced, including tonight’s main event between Davey Boy Smith Jr. and “The Blueprint” Matt Morgan. Also tonight, two competitors in Saturday night’s women’s Battle Royal – KC Spinelli and Courtney Rush – will square off. And, in tonight’s opening match, Andy Ridge will take on Tarkan Aslan.
Andy Ridge vs. Tarkan Aslan Aslan picked up a solid victory in tonight’s opening contest, beating Ridge in under five minutes.
Tarkan Aslan pinned Andy Ridge with the FeeKuza in 4:21. Rating: 1.75
After the match, a camera backstage shows Angelina Love and Velvet Sky fixing their hair and touching up their makeup in front of two mirrors in a dressing room. It is announced that the winner of the Women’s Battle Royal will speak… next!
Commercial Break
Returning from the break, Brooke Baldwin had joined Love and Sky backstage, as they continued to run mess with their hair and clothing, always trying to look their best. Brooke said that, after losing their debut tag match last week, Love was successful in winning the Women’s Battle Royal on Saturday night. Disgusted, Love asks Sky if Brooke just disrespected her and Sky agreed. Love said that Brooke can try to bring her down, but it’s just because Brooke doesn’t look as good as Love does. Anyway, Love said that there are plenty of women like Brooke in PCW that will try to diminish Love’s wrestling ability because she’s one of the most beautiful people in the company, other than Velvet. But, on Saturday night, Love proved that she could outlast all the other women and come out victorious. Because of that, Love asked how soon it would be before her name was mentioned as a challenger to the Women’s Title. Before Love could continue, MARY DOBSON approached, interrupting her. Dobson looked at Velvet, reaching out to touch her hair, but Velvet backed up allowing Dobson to come face-to-face with Love. Dobson smiled and said that Love was a very pretty girl, and that it would be a shame if Dobson had to mess up Love’s pretty features in the name of proving that she was the only name that should be mentioned as a challenger to the Women’s Title. Love took a step back in retreat as Sky grabbed her arm, pulling her away, as Dobson looked on smirking.
K.C. Spinelli vs. Courtney Rush After eliminating each other simultaneously at the Collision Course battle royal, Commission Butler signed this match. Tonight, it was Rush – a three-year veteran – who picked up the victory after a superkick to Spinelli’s jaw.
Courtney Rush pinned K.C. Spinelli after a superkick in 5:25. Rating: 1.25
A camera backstage showed Matt Morgan entering the arena, as it is announced that Morgan’s opponent, Davey Boy Smith Jr. will have a live microphone with the show returned!
Commercial Break
Returning from the break, a video package is shown of Davey Boy Smith Jr. interfering in the Television Title Match at Collision Course. When the video ends, Smith is seen standing with Brooke Baldwin backstage. Baldwin said that Smith has had a few days and the PCW audience wanted Smith to justify his actions. Smith, said that he didn’t need to justify anything to anyone, and that his reasons for doing something don’t need to be made public. The only thing that anyone needs to know is that Matt Morgan doesn’t deserve to be challenging for any title in the PCW; and if anyone should take his place, it should be Smith. He continued, saying that he was the one that beat the reigning IWGP Heavyweight Champion at Collision Course – something that Morgan cannot claim. Therefore, he has proven that he can beat a champion on any given night. But before he can prove that against Justin Gabriel, he'll have to prove that tonight against Matt Morgan, and that’s exactly what he intends on doing.
No. 1 Contenders Match – Tag Team Titles The All-Night Express vs. Latin American Xchange After the LAX disrupted the Express’ chances of winning the Tag Team Titles at Collision Course, this match was announced as both a grudge match and a match to determine who would challenge for the titles at Fall Brawl. However, both teams were willing to fight for that chance at any cost, and the match would end in a double count-out. After the match, PCW officials had to rush to the scene, breaking up the fight.

No. 1 Contenders’ Match – PCW Television Title Davey Boy Smith, Jr. vs. Matt Morgan After causing the distraction that wound up costing Matt Morgan his shot at the Television Title on Saturday night, Davey Boy Smith Jr had the chance to back up his claim of being a more-imposing opponent to Justin Gabriel. In this battle of big men, Morgan came out with the intention of getting payback on Smith for his interference and continuing to challenge for the TV Title in the future. The end of the match saw Smith inadvertently knock down the referee after Morgan ducked a clothesline attempt. Morgan would pull out a pair of brass knuckles – similar to what he used on Saturday – and punched Smith in the jaw. After shaking the referee awake, Morgan pinned a motionless Smith for the victory.

After the match, Brooke Baldwin is seen backstage with new PCW Heavyweight Champion Jerry Lynn. Brooke congratulates Lynn on his victory and asks if he has anything to say to the PCW fans. Lynn starts off by thanking the fans for their continued support throughout his career. He thanks them for following him from the early beginnings in ECW and throughout all his stops along the way. Lynn wants to make all of his fans proud by being the best champion he can be and setting a good example for PCW as a whole. Two men that Lynn wants to thank above all is Rex Butler and Peter Bradshaw. Lynn thanks them for taking a chance on a man who is nearing the end of his career and allowing him the opportunity to challenge for the Heavyweight Title. Without them, Lynn says he would be outside working in his back yard somewhere in Florida.
Before he can continue, Lynn is interrupted as The Big Show and The Undertaker appear on-screen. The Big Show congratulates Lynn on his victory but says that the title will not save him from being embarrassed in the ring later tonight before announcing that Lynn will face him in the main event. The Undertaker, saying very little, promises to end Lynn’s championship reign at Fall Brawl. The Big Show slaps Lynn on the back as the two men walk away as the show goes to commercials.
Commercial Break
Returning from the break, Brooke Baldwin is seen with Women’s Champion Melina, who congratulates Angelina Love for winning the Women’s Battle Royal at Collision Course. Before Melina can continue, Velvet Sky appears on-screen, interrupting the interview. Sky says that Angelina doesn’t need to win the Women’s Title at Fall Brawl to prove that she’s better than Melina, because Angelina wakes up a better person every day because she is without question one of the most beautiful people to exist. Something that Melina can never claim to be. Melina lunges for Velvet, who backs away, only for Angelina Love to attack Melina from behind! Love and Sky assault Melina before celebrating and walking away.
Courtney Rush vs. Solo Darling (w/Daffney) After an impressive singles debut last week, Courtney Rush was looking to put together a little winning streak. Solo Darling, with the help of Daffney, ended those chances after forcing Rush to submit to the SharpStinger.

No Count-Out Match The All-Night Express (Kenny King & Rhett Titus) vs. LAX (Hernandez & Homicide) After last week’s match-up between these two teams ended in a double count-out, Commissioner Rex Butler decided to take that option off the table and allow only pinfalls or DQs to end this match. In the end, LAX were able to come out on top, earning themselves a Tag Team Title Match at Fall Brawl.
[No Count-Out Match]: LAX (Hernandez & Homicide) defeated The All-Night Express (Kenny King & Rhett Titus) after Homicide pinned Titus with the Gringo Killa in 6:03. Rating: 2.75
Backstage, David Otunga and Shinya Ishikawa are seen watching LAX celebrate on a monitor. Brooke Baldwin approaches, asking how the champions feel about having new challengers come Fall Brawl. Otunga says that, as champions, it’s expected that they would face challenges from all types of teams. He says that King and Titus had their chances and failed. Now it was LAX’s turn to step up and see what they could do.
Commercial Break
Returning from the break, a promo by Television Champion Justin Gabriel plays. In it Gabriel talks about how everyone: the people in the arena, the people watching at home, and one interested champion all saw what Matt Morgan did to beat Davey Boy Smith, Jr. Gabriel says it’s just sad that the only person who didn’t see it was the referee and that was only due to an unfortunate accident. Gabriel says that Morgan can bring his “secret weapon” to Fall Brawl before imploring Commissioner Butler to make their match at No Disqualification Match.
An advertisement for Fall Brawl is shown, announcing the new Tag Team Title and Heavyweight Title Matches that have been added. That is followed by a graphic announcing that, next week, Women’s Champion Melina will take on Velvet Sky in a non-title match.
Non-Title Match The Big Show vs. © Jerry Lynn In Lynn’s first match as the new Heavyweight Champion, he would face off against one of the biggest challengers on the roster. For some it was a forgone conclusion that The Big Show would pick up an early victory over the champion, but Lynn’s tenacity and will to succeed helped him withstand The Big Show’s offense and fight back. After a series of dropkicks to The Big Show’s knees, which eventually dropped him to the canvas, Lynn surprised everyone in attendance after hitting a spinning Discus Punch that sent The Big Show to the canvas. Lynn made the cover for the 1-2-3!
[Non-Title Match]: Jerry Lynn pinned The Big Show after a Discus Punch in 9:13. Rating: 1.75
After the match, the lights inside the arena went off, as screams could be heard throughout the crowd. When the lights came back on, THE UNDERTAKER was seen standing behind Lynn. As Lynn turned around, The Undertaker grabbed him, choke-slamming him to the canvas. The Undertaker stood over Lynn, writhing in pain, as the show went off the air.

Non-Title Match Nikki Bella vs. © Melina The opening match of the evening ended just as quickly as it started, as The Beautiful People (Angelina Love and Velvet Sky) made their presence known at ringside. Making no effort to hide her actions, Love tripped Melina in direct view of the referee, resulting in the match being called a DQ.
[Non-Title Match]: Melina defeated Nikki Bella by DQ in 4:58. Rating: 0.25
After the match, Love and Sky entered the ring and attacked Melina, leaving her motionless in the center of the ring. Grabbing a microphone, Love said that it was obvious that she and Sky were clearly more attractive than the entire women’s roster – including their champion, Melina. Love said that, after Fall Brawl, she would be even more beautiful as she carried around the Women’s Title for the world to see! The Beautiful People then left the ring, as the scene cut to backstage…
Backstage, a smiling Matt Morgan looked into the camera and said that Justin Gabriel had every right to question Morgan’s motives two weeks ago. Morgan said that Gabriel was right: it was unfortunate that everyone saw what happened except for the one person that could do anything about it. But, those are the chances Morgan was willing to take in order to get another shot at the Television Title. Morgan said that if making their match at Fall Brawl a No-DQ match would make him feel better, than Morgan would be happy to agree to those terms. Morgan said that he will do whatever it takes to get the title off of Gabriel, but wanted to make something very clear: He is his own secret weapon, and that’s all Gabriel needs to worry about.
Commercial Break
Returning from the break, Brooke Baldwin introduced Hernandez and Homicide, who said they had a bit of information for Commissioner Butler to look at concerning the state of the PCW Tag Team Championships. Homicide held up a portable flash drive and claimed that it held video evidence to prove that David Otunga and Shinya Ishikawa were not the rightful champions because they had never officially won the titles. They said after Butler looked at the footage, things would need to be changed for their match at Fall Brawl, and they had the perfect idea in mind.
Non-Title Match Jon Ryan & Kazarian vs. © David Otunga & Shinya Ishikawa While the controversy over the PCW Tag Team Championships heats up, Otunga and Ishikawa carried the titles with them to the ring tonight. Those belts would wind up being a big factor in the result of this match. After trying everything they could to put the “champions” away, Ryan grabbed one of the belts, bringing it back into the ring in the hopes of using it as a weapon. As Kazarian distracted the referee, Ishikawa ducked the blow by Ryan and dropkicked him to the canvas. Picking up the belt, Ishikawa used it on Ryan before tossing it outside the ring. The referee turned and counted the 1-2-3.
[Non-Title Match]: David Otunga & Shinya Ishikawa defeated Jon Ryan & Kazarian when Ishikawa pinned Ryan after hitting him with the title belt in 7:26. Rating: 1.50
After the match, a graphic is displayed on the screen announcing that tonight’s main event will be Bobby Roode against the number one contender for the PCW Heavyweight Championship, The Undertaker.
Commercial Break
Standing in a deserted area outside of the arena, The Undertaker is shown looking into the camera as the show returned from the break. He talked about there being a feeling – a sensation – that a shift in power was set to take place in the very near future. A shift in power that could take place as soon as Fall Brawl. He said that it was very clear to him – and maybe not yet to others, or even to Jerry Lynn – that the PCW Heavyweight Champion would soon be facing the end of not only his reign, but of his career as well. Looking into the camera, The Undertaker said that it was almost a certainly that Fall Brawl would be the first – and only – time that he and Lynn would step into the ring. He said that Fall Brawl would be the final resting place and that Lynn would rest in peace.
Non-Title Match Davey Boy Smith, Jr. vs. © Justin Gabriel Two weeks after suffering a controversial loss that would have seen him challenging for the Television Championship at Fall Brawl, Davey Boy Smith Jr. had his chance to pull an upset on the champion before his title defense against Matt Morgan. The crowd was hot for this match, as the on-going situation between the three men has only heated up in the past few weeks. In the end, after a valiant effort by the second-generation start, Gabriel was able to hit the 450 Splash for the victory.
[Non-Title Match]: Justin Gabriel pinned Davey Boy Smith, Jr. with the 450 Splash in 6:49. Rating: 3.25
After the match, Commissioner REX BUTLER appeared on-stage. He congratulated Gabriel on his victory and said that he had been thinking about the demand Gabriel made last week. Butler said that, under the circumstances that he has seen over the past few weeks, he would be doing Gabriel, Matt Morgan, and the fans a disservice if he did not accept Gabriel’s demand. Therefore, the Television Championship Match at Fall Brawl will be a No Disqualification Match!
Commercial Break
A preview for Fall Brawl was shown, with the addition of the No-DQ Match for the Television Championship. Fall Brawl will be held from Halifax, Nova Scotia on October 10th!
Bobby Roode vs. The Undertaker Making only his second singles appearance since joining PCW, The Undertaker stepped into the ring with a former Heavyweight Champion. As intimidating a presence, The Undertaker usually is inside the ring, Roode did not seem phased during this match, as he took the fight to The Dead Man. Sensing that his partner was not having as easy a time as expected, THE BIG SHOW made his way to the ring, landing a giant right hand to Roode’s jaw. This allowed The Undertaker to connect with the Tombstone for the victory.
The Undertaker pinned Bobby Roode with the Tombstone in 8:06. Rating: 2.25 (The Big Show interfered against Bobby Roode.)
After the match, The Undertaker and The Big Show began to attack Roode in the middle of the ring. Moments later, JERRY LYNN ran down to the ring holding a steel chair. The big men exited the ring as Lynn entered, swinging the chair wildly, hoping to connect. The Undertaker and The Big Show retreated up the aisleway as Lynn stood over Roode.

PCW Wrestling #165 - October 1, 2013 Dunkin’ Donuts Center – Providence, RI Attendance: 8,184 Announcers: Alfred Pressley & James Westerfield
Highlights of Jerry Lynn coming to the aide of Bobby Roode last week are shown. Alfred Pressley and James Westerfield are seen at ringside as they welcome the audience to Providence, just five days before Fall Brawl in Halifax. It is announced that Commissioner Rex Butler has signed a tag team match for tonight’s main event between The Unholy Alliance and the team of Bobby Roode and Jerry Lynn.
Tarkan Aslan vs. David Otunga As of late, Tarkan Aslan has shown a lot of promise in singles competition. A win over one-half of the Tag Team Champions would be a big boost to his confidence going forward. It was clear from the start that Aslan’s offense had taken Otunga by surprise, as the champion was left struggling to counter anything Aslan did. After tossing Otunga outside the ring, Aslan watched as HERNANDEZ and HOMICIDE came to ringside. Hernandez distracted the referee as Homicide hit Otunga with the Gringo Killa on the concrete floor! After the attack, LAX left ringside, as the referee counted Otunga out.
Tarkan Aslan defeated David Otunga by countout in 10:13. Rating: 1.75 (Homicide interfered against David Otunga.)
After the match, standing on the top of the entryway, Hernandez and Homicide said they wanted to know how badly Otunga and Shinya Ishikawa wanted to earn their stake to the Tag Team Championships. They issued a challenge for a Ladder Match on Saturday night and said if the so-called “champs” had the balls, they would accept the stipulation. Hernandez then threw the microphone onto the ground as the duo walked backstage.
Commercial Break
Returning from the break, David Otunga – still reeling from the attack at the hands of Homicide – is seen with Shinya Ishikawa standing outside the door to Commissioner Rex Butler’s office. Before Ishikawa can knock, Butler exited, stopping. Otunga told Butler that, if he saw what just took place during his match, he would sign the Ladder Match for Saturday! Butler said he did witness what took place and thought that a Ladder Match would be a great opportunity to prove which team wanted the titles more. Butler said the match was official and walked off.
Also in the back, Alisha Hicks is seen with Women’s Champion Melina. Alisha asks for the champion’s thoughts on what Angelina Love had to say last week. Melina says that it was made very clear that Love cares more about being beautiful instead of being champion. She says that there is nothing more important to her than being Women’s Champion. Melina says she’s going to take the one thing that Angelina cares about and leave her unrecognizable after Saturday night.
Angelina Love vs. Lufisto LuFisto came out to the ring with a little plastic doll figurine that she placed in the corner of the ring. The announcers speculated on what the doll meant to LuFisto as she would look over at it throughout the match. Love, the current challenger for the Women’s Championship, seemed unsure of how to attack her opponent, as LuFisto has a reputation for having a vicious streak. Luckily, for Love, she did not have to find out just what LuFisto was capable of, as VELVET SKY came to the ring and grabbed the figurine. Noticing it was gone, LuFisto turned her attention to Sky, who was holding the figurine while standing in the aisleway. The distraction allowed Love to attack from behind and hit the Break A Bitch for the victory!
Angelina Love pinned LuFisto with the Break A Bitch in 6:46. Rating: 2.75
After the match, Sky dropped the figurine on the ground and began screaming for hand sanitizer as she and Love made their way backstage.
Commercial Break
Returning from the break, Bobby Roode is seen pacing back and forth backstage in front of the camera. Roode says that he wanted to personally welcome The Big Show back to PCW, but it would seem that The Big Show took it upon himself to do that last week. Roode says that they’re going to see each other in just a little while, but he thought that it would be better to have a second chance for a personal welcome. Roode says that doesn’t seem like a better place then Halifax on Saturday night, if The Big Show is free. But, Roode reminds The Big Show that, the last time they met in the ring, Roode walked away with the PCW Heavyweight Championship.
LAX (Hernandez & Homicide) vs. Ink, Inc. (Jessee Neal & Shannon Moore) One-half of the HWL Tag Team Champions, Jesse Neal, made his return to PCW tonight, teaming with former partner Shannon Moore to take on the number one contenders, LAX. Neal and Moore held their own during this match, but LAX took things to the outside, slamming their opponents into the metal guardrails and the steel ring steps to gain the advantage. As the referee tried to regain control of things, Hernandez hit a spinebuster onto steel chair that was laid out on the concrete floor! Hernandez rolled Moore into the ring and covered him for the victory.
LAX (Hernandez & Homicide) defeated Ink, Inc. (Jesse Neal & Shannon Moore) via pinfall in 7:06. Rating: 2.25
Backstage, Brooke Baldwin asks The Big Show about the challenge issued by Bobby Roode just moments ago. The Big Show did not hesitate to accept Roode’s challenge but said Roode would be lucky to make it to Saturday. The Big Show said he would see Roode, in the ring, very soon.

Things were sent to a boiling point this week when all four took part in the same match, just days before their respective matches at Fall Brawl. The Undertaker received a huge boost in momentum heading into Saturday after hitting Lynn with the Tombstone and pinning the Heavyweight Champion in the center of the ring. If he is able to repeat that this weekend, a new champion could be crowned!

PCW: Fall Brawl October 5, 2013 Halifax Forum – Halifax, Nova Scotia, CN Attendance: 4,088
An outside shot of the arena is shown as Alfred Pressley and James Westerfield welcome everyone to Halifax. They give a rundown on the seven-match card, including the main event where Jerry Lynn will defend the PCW Heavyweight Championship against The Undertaker.
Mena Libra vs. KC Spinelli The opening contest of tonight’s event saw two members of the female roster who are both looking to pick up much-needed wins. With just a handful of matches between them, this match was a chance for the crowd to see what they could do inside the ring. Spinelli had the home-country fans behind her and used that to propel her to victory after hitting a spinning neckscissors for the 1-2-3.
KC Spinelli pinned Mena Libra with a spinning neckscissors in 8:09. Rating: 1.50
Backstage, Brooke Barlow is seen with The Beautiful People. Angelina Love says that, as a Canadian, she has every right to say that the only thing people in Nova Scotia have to be happy about is The Trailer Park Boys, and that’s not saying much. She also says that everyone here – including Brooke – should be lucky they get to see Angelina and Velvet live and in-person; and even luckier to watch Angelina walk out of this hellhole of a province with the Women’s Title. Velvet says she feels gross just being here, and that it’s worse than that little creepy doll she had her hands on Tuesday night. Angelina says they have business to attend the duo walk away.
A cameraman finds Hernandez and Homicide talking in a secluded area backstage. Seeing the camera, they turn and address it. Homicide says tonight is the night where the “so-called” Tag Team Champions put the title on the line in a match that was made for LAX. Hernandez says that Otunga and Ishikawa have only felt a taste of what he and Homicide will do to them tonight. No rules, no referee interference. The only thing that matters is who can climb to the top and grabs those belts.
Ink, Inc. (Jesse Neal & Shannon Moore) vs. Jon Ryan & Kazarian Just days after their losing attempt on the latest episode of PCW Wrestling, the tattooed team of Neal and Moore were looking to put a notch in the win column tonight. However, Ryan and Kazarian had other plans in mind, as they too were looking to add a victory to their names as well. The end of the match saw an all-out brawl between the four men outside the ring. During the chaos, Ryan was able to unclip the chain around Moore’s neck and wrap it around the metal barricade before reconnecting it. Ryan then attacked Neal with Kazarian before slipping back into the ring to watch Moore get counted out.
Jon Ryan & Kazarian defeated Ink, Inc. (Jesse Neal & Shannon Moore) by countout in 8:38. Rating: 2.00
Backstage, David Otunga and Shinya Ishikawa are seen discussing ideas for their upcoming match against LAX.
Also backstage, Brooke Barlow is seen with Women’s Champion, Melina, and asks about the possibility of Velvet Sky getting involved in her match with Angelina Love. Melina says that Love and Sky are practically joined at the hip, so it would be a mistake to believe that Velvet would not be at ringside. Melina says she cannot focus on what Velvet does, instead needing to focus on what needs to be done to retain the Women’s Championship.
A camera shows the The Undertaker and The Big Show entering the arena as the announcers talk about their respective matches happening later tonight.
An advertisement for the next PCW pay-per-view, RECKONING is shown. Reckoning will take place LIVE from Norfolk, Virginia on Saturday, November 2nd!
Women’s Championship Match Angelina Love vs. © Melina After outlasting 14 other women in a number-one-contender battle royal at Collison Course, Angelina Love began a back-and-forth insult war with the Women’s Champion. Both women said things that got under the other’s skin, only fueling the fire heading into tonight’s title match. Velvet Sky appeared at ringside during the match, hoping to give her friend the advantage; but LuFisto came down and attacked Velvet! The two of them brawled down the aisleway, which distracted the referee long enough for Angelina to remove a small bottle of perfume out of her tights. She tossed the liquid into Melina’s eyes, causing the Champion to scream out in pain and bring her hands to her face. Unable to block the kick to her head by the challenger, Melina dropped to the canvas as Love made the cover and picked up the win, becoming the NEW Women’s Champion!
[PCW Women’s Championship Match]: Angelina Love pinned Melina after a kick to the head in 8:12. Rating: 3.25 (Angelina Love wins the PCW Women’s Championship.)
Backstage, Brooke Barlow is seen with PCW Heavyweight Champion Jerry Lynn, and asks about his match tonight against The Undertaker. Lynn says that he has a huge challenge on his hands tonight and that he doesn’t want to face the same fate that he did on Tuesday night. Lynn says The Undertaker is, without a doubt, one of the most-recognized champions in the history of the business. He says he can’t lie: defeating “The Phenom” tonight, and leaving as the champion would be a huge feat; but it’s something that Lynn knows he can do.
As Lynn walks away, he is stopped by BOBBY ROODE, who wishes Lynn good luck. Roode is then asked about his match against The Big Show by Brooke. Roode says that he feels very confident because he has already beaten The Big Show. Roode says that in that time, both he and The Big Show have gotten a year older, but Roode has only gotten better. He laughs and walks away. Inside the arena, the PCW Tag Team Championships are shown hanging from a hook over the ring.
Ladder Match for the vacant PCW Tag Team Championships LAX (Hernandez & Homicide) vs. David Otunga & Shinya Ishikawa A lot of controversy surrounded the Tag Team Champions over the last few weeks, stemming from Otunga and Ishikawa being awarded the championships but not actually winning the match for them. The duo would go on to defend the belts over that time, but their defenses came to a halt after it was revealed – and conceded by Commissioner Rex Butler – that the belts were still vacated. Tonight, these four men put their bodies through hell, all in the name of becoming champions. With ringside being cluttered with bent chairs and broken wood splinters, the belts hung in the air. The end of the match saw Hernandez and Otunga climbing up the ladder, and brawling at the top. In a move that stunned the crowd, Hernandez hurdled the top of the ladder and brought Otunga down to the canvas with a sunset flip power bomb! Both men lay crumpled in the ring as Ishikawa and Homicide began their ascent to the top. Once again, battling at the top, Homicide slammed Ishikawa’s head on the top of the ladder. Swaying backwards, Ishikawa looked to be falling off the ladder only to come back with a vicious elbow shot, the point of his elbow catching Homicide in the temple, opening up a small gash. The force of the impact sent Homicide falling backwards off the ladder, crashing through a table that had been placed by the ladder earlier in the match! Ishikawa slowly continued the climb to the top, before reaching the belts and unhooking them, rightfully staking his and Otunga’s claims to the championships!
[Ladder Match for the vacant PCW Tag Team Championships]: David Otunga & Shinya Ishikawa defeated LAX (Hernandez & Homicidie) in 18:30. Rating: 2.25 (David Otunga & Shinya Ishikawa won the PCW Tag Team Championships.)
Backstage, Brooke Barlow is seen with THE BIG SHOW and THE UNDERTAKER. When asked about their respective matches tonight, The Big Show says that Bobby Roode may feel confident, but it is going to be so fulfilling to crush Roode’s confidence and head him a defeat tonight. The Undertaker, speaking on his match against Jerry Lynn, says that he seen a number of good men be named Champion, only to fall at the hands of the Living Undead. He says that he has buried the careers of many of those good men, taken their titles, and reigned high over those that wish to bring him down. Tonight, just like the others before him, Jerry Lynn will rest in peace.
In a pre-recorded video, MATT MORGAN said that he had been waiting to get back into the ring with Justin Gabriel. And with everything being legal in tonight’s match, there was nothing that could stop Morgan from leaving as the Television Champion.
Bobby Roode vs. The Big Show Fourteen months ago, Bobby Roode defeated The Big Show to win the vacated PCW Heavyweight Championship. Those competitive fires were stoked, once again, after The Big Show interfered against Roode during a match two weeks ago on PCW Wrestling. Certainly, with no love lost between the two of them, could Roode repeat his victory or would The Big Show even things up? That question was answered as The Big Show pulled a pair of brass knuckles out of his singlet, punching Roode in the jaw! Roode dropped to the canvas as The Big Show covered him for the victory. After the match, The Big Show stood over Roode and celebrated as the crowd booed.
The Big Show pinned Bobby Roode after hitting him with a foreign object in 7:05. Rating: 2.50
An advertisement for the next PCW pay-per-view, RECKONING is shown. Reckoning will take place LIVE from Norfolk, Virginia on Saturday, November 2nd!
A highlight video, showing the lead-up to the Television Championship Match between Matt Morgan and Justin Gabriel is shown.
No-DQ Match for the PCW Television Championship Matt Morgan vs. © Justin Gabriel Last month, these same two men squared off for the Television Championship at Collision Course. The match ended after a failed interference attempt by Davey Boy Smith, Jr., and would result in Gabriel retaining the title. Morgan would use a pair of brass knuckles to defeat Smith the following Tuesday on PCW Wrestling to secure a rematch against the champion. With everything being legal in this match, questions were rampant as to what extent both men would go to become champion. Both men showed signs of fatigue towards the end of the match, but Morgan attempted to use the brass knuckles with what energy was left. However, Gabriel would connect with a vicious chair shot to Morgan’s skull before playing the chair across Morgan’s torso. Gabriel would hit a 450 Splash onto the chair, picking up the victory and retaining the championship.
[No-DQ Match for the PCW Television Championship]: Justin Gabriel pinned Matt Morgan with a 450 Splash onto a chair in 20:52. Rating: 3.00 (Justin Gabriel retained the PCW Television Championship.)
A video recapping the events leading up to the PCW Heavyweight Championship Match between The Undertaker and Jerry Lynn is played.
PCW Heavyweight Championship Match The Undertaker vs. © Jerry Lynn Tonight’s main event pitted one of the most well-known “indy” wrestlers over the past 10-15 years against a man who has revolutionized the wrestling business for over 20 years. Jerry Lynn had the unfortunate task of making his first title defense against “The Phenom”, but he showed no signs of backing down throughout this match. Despite The Undertaker’s size advantage, Lynn used his speed and agility to attempt to bring the big man down. Lynn’s pace would eventually cause him to lose energy as the match wore on, allowing The Undertaker to methodically wear his opponent down. The end of the match saw The Undertaker using a choke slam before hitting Lynn with the Tombstone in the center of the ring for the 1-2-3. After the match, The Undertaker posed on one knee, holding the title into the air, as the arena lights went out.
[PCW Heavyweight Championship Match]: The Undertaker pinned Jerry Lynn after the Tombstone in 16:33. Rating: 3.00 (The Undertaker won the PCW Heavyweight Championship.)

PCW Wrestling October 8, 2013 Brandt Centre – Regina, SK Attendance: 5,394
A video package from Fall Brawl is shown before the camera shows the inside of the arena as Alfred Pressley and James Westerfield welcome everyone to Regina.
The lights in the arena go out and tolling bells can be heard as The Undertaker and The Big Show make their way to the ring. Standing in the ring, the new PCW Heavyweight Champion reminds the crowd that he has been in this business for almost 25 years. Over that time, he has buried a countless number of opponents and he has won every title belt you could imagine. He says that a lot of people were shocked to see him sign with PCW because they figured he was finished. Vince’s creation no longer served the creator’s purpose and was put out to pasture. He says that Vince McMahon did not create The Undertaker; he just allowed a chance for The Undertaker to leave his mark. He left his mark in nearly three different decades before someone else decided that he could no longer succeed in this business. He says that Saturday night, at Fall Brawl, The Undertaker left his mark in PCW. And standing here, with the Heavyweight Championship, is proof that no one tells The Undertaker when he’s finished because you cannot kill what doesn’t want to die.
Jerry Lynn’s music begins to play as the former Heavyweight Champion walks onto the stage. Lynn says that he respects what The Undertaker has been able to do throughout his career and congratulates him on proving that achieving the top spot in this business is still possible at an advanced age… something Lynn proved was possible when he won the Heavyweight Championship a month ago. He says that both The Undertaker and he have accomplished things many people didn’t think would happen, and Lynn says he’s ready to prove those people wrong again. Lynn says he wants to invoke his rematch clause against The Undertaker at Reckoning.
Smiling at the interruption, The Undertakers reminds Lynn that for years he was the leader of the “boys” backstage. If something needed to be done, they came to him to make it happen. Now that he has the Heavyweight Championship over his shoulder, The Undertaker says that Lynn can make all the challenges he wants, but they happen when The Undertaker says. If Lynn wants a rematch at Reckoning, he’ll have to earn it, tonight, by defeating The Big Show. The lights go out inside the arena as The Undertaker poses with the Heavyweight Championship.
Commercial Break
OKADA vs. Rhett Titus The IWGP Heavyweight Champion was back on US soil tonight, looking to move up the rankings in the Television Title division. His title belt would play a part in the outcome of this match as Rhett Titus – who has been off PCW TV for a number of weeks – was looking to get a big upset over the international star. After the Titus irish-whipped Okada into the ropes, inadvertently bumping into the referee, Titus low-blowed Okada and went outside to grab the title belt. Bringing the belt into the ring, Titus swung and missed as Okada ducked, hitting a superkick that caused Titus to drop the belt. Okada picked up the belt, and after taking a moment to think about his choices, smashed it over Titus’ skull before pinning him. Dazed, the referee was able to count the pin and award the match to Okada.
OKADA defeated Rhett Titus by pinfall in 4:07. Rating: 1.75
Backstage, Angelina Love is sitting in the locker room as Velvet Sky walks in with a gift box. Velvet says that she wanted to celebrate Angelina’s win last week by surprising her with someone Velvet knew she’d love. Angelina opens the package quickly, revealing a larger-than-normal bottle of perfume called “Sensuality”. Angelina thanks Velvet and sprays some on her neck. The two are interrupted as LuFisto enters the room with Pegaboo, who has a small white bandage around its head. LuFisto demands an apology from Love for injuring Pegaboo, but Velvet just laughs in her face. Suddenly, Angelina sprays some “Sensuality” into LuFisto’s eyes, causing her to scream and drop Pegaboo. Angelina and Velvet attack LuFisto before leaving the locker room laughing.
Also in the back, Brooke Baldwin is seen with Commissioner Rex Butler. Butler says that, due to the circumstances surrounding one of the tag team matches at Fall Brawl on Saturday night, he has decided to sign a rematch for later tonight. Butler then announces that Ink, Inc will take on Jon Ryan and Kazarian to determine a true winner.
Commercial Break
Returning from the break, Brooke Baldwin is seen with Television Champion Justin Gabriel. She congratulates Gabriel on his title defense Saturday night and asks what is in store for the champion. Gabriel thanks Brooke and says what is next for him is to keep doing what he has been since joining PCW back in 2010: to be the best Television Champion the company has ever seen. All of a sudden, Gabriel is attacked from behind by ABYSS. Abyss slams Gabriel into the wall and equipment cases as people scream and run to safety. Abyss lands a series of punches, sending Gabriel to the ground. Kneeling down, Abyss grabs a handful of Gabriel’s hair and says there is nowhere for Gabriel to run and that, very soon, the Television Title will be his. Abyss stands and walks away as officials rush to Gabriel’s aide.
Ray vs. Courtney Rush After losing on the 10/1 episode, Courtney Rush was back in the ring tonight, looking to rebound with a victory. The unorthodox offense of the Japanese star, Ray, definitely kept the Canadian on her toes in this match. But it was outside interference from SOLO DARLING that would wind up costing Rush the contest, as her interfered allowed Ray to connect with a very impressive-looking top-rope cartwheel dropkick for the 1-2-3.
Ray pinned Courtney Rush after a top rope cartwheel dropkick in 6:17. Rating: 2.00
In a pre-recorded video, the PCW Tag Team Champions, Shinya Ishikawa and David Otunga mention how, Saturday night at Fall Brawl, they should have put any and all questions to rest as to who the rightful champions should be. They give credit to LAX for one hell of a match and admit to having had a tough fight on their hands. But, Otunga says that having the titles around their waists makes whatever they had to go through over the weekend a little more tolerable. The monologue gets interrupted as Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli appear on-camera. Hero congratulates the duo on their victory Saturday night but says he’s almost positive that they don’t have they kind of hardcore experience that he and Claudio have. Castagnoli says that it may have been a little while, but some things are just as easy as riding a bike. He reminds the champions that, while they do currently hold the title belts, he and Hero are The Kings of Wrestling. Hero and Castagnoli walk away as the video ends.
Commercial Break
A preview for Reckoning is shown. Reckoning will culminate from the Norfolk Scope in Norfolk, Virginia on November 2nd!
Ink, Inc. (Jesse Neal & Shannon Moore) vs. Jon Ryan & Kazarian After their match ended in a countout victory by Ryan and Kazarian, due to the fact that Shannon Moore was handcuffed to the barricade and unable to re-enter the ring, Commissioner Baker signed this rematch to name a true winner. Neal and Moore were determined to not get embarrassed like they did over the weekend, by eventually wound up on the losing end again after Moore was pinned by Ryan’s flying dropkick.
Jon Ryan & Kazarian defeated Ink Inc. (Jesee Neal & Shannon Moore) by pinfall in 7:08. Rating: 2.75
Backstage, former Women’s Champion Melina confronts Commissioner Butler outside his office. Melina said that it should have been obvious from Saturday night that Angelina Love didn’t beat her alone, that she had help from Velvet Sky. She said it didn’t change the fact that she lost and the result was final, but she was there to invoke her rematch clause as soon as possible. Butler agreed to the request and said that Melina would get her title rematch in two weeks.
Commercial Break
The Miz vs. Cody Rhodes The former HWL Heavyweight Champion picked up a much-needed victory tonight, which will boost him in the rankings heading into next week, after hitting the Cross Rhodes on The Miz. For The Miz, the loss will put him further down the rankings as he continues to look for his first singles victory since joining the roster.
Cody Rhodes pinned The Miz with the Cross Rhodes in 9:15. Rating: 2.00
In the back of the arena, just outside his office, Commissioner Rex Butler is seen with Brooke Baldwin. Butler announced that, after their confrontation earlier tonight, he had signed a match between Velvet Sky and LuFisto to take place next week! Brooke thanks him for the update as the show went to break…
Commercial Break
Jerry Lynn vs. The Big Show After The Big Show was introduced, the ring announcer shocked the crowd inside the arena with the announcement that Jerry Lynn would be unable to compete in the main event. The video screen above the stage showed Lynn being tended to by EMTs backstage. It was then announced that, on the orders of Commissioner Rex Butler, this match would be ruled as a no-contest.

PCW Wrestling -- 10/15/13 -- Prairie Capital Convention Center (Springfield, IL) -- 5,607
Alfred Pressley and James Westerfield welcomed everyone in the at-home audience to the capital city of Illinois, for episode 167 of PCW Wrestling. It was announced that in tonight’s main event, Sin Cara would face Television Champion Justin Gabriel in a non-title matchup. Also, in a match signed last week, LuFisto would get a shot at redemption as she took on one half of The Beautiful People, Velvet Sky.
Adam Cole vs. Grizzly Redwood Adam Cole got the night started with a victory over “The Littlest Lumberjack”, although it was not the cleanest. After hitting Redwood with a flying forearm, Cole still resorted to grabbing a handful of Redwood’s pants for leverage as the referee counted the pinfall. Cole slipped out of the ring, content with his actions, as the crowd at ringside booed.
Adam Cole pinned Grizzly Redwood after a flying forearm in 5:04. Rating: 2.50
Backstage, Brooke Barlow is seen with PCW Commission Rex Butler, who wanted to update the PCW fans that due to the attack last week, Jerry Lynn was advised to remain home and recover. Therefore, Lynn is not in the arena this evening, and there is an on-going investigation into who was behind the attack.
Commercial Break
Commissioner Butler was seen walking through the backstage area, heading to his office, when he was stopped by Daffney and Solo Darling. Daffney said she couldn’t understand how Butler kept giving other women on the roster opportunities but kept leaving Solo in the back. Daffney asked if Butler was ashamed of how well Darling had done since joining the roster and was only trying to hold her back. Butler said that he didn’t know what Daffney was talking about, and that if they wanted a match, he would give them one next week. Butler said that Darling could team up with Mary Dobson and have a tag team match next week. Daffney thought for a moment before smiling and patting Butler on the cheek. Darling, smiling throughout the interaction, shocked Butler by kissing him on the cheek before both women walked off.
LuFisto (w/Pegaboo) vs. Velvet Sky Two weeks ago, Velvet Sky was responsible for the injuries sustained by Pegaboo, who was sitting in LuFisto’s corner tonight, with a bandage wrapped around its head. LuFisto looked to avenge the travesty inflicted on her little friend by defeating Velvet tonight, but Velvet knew LuFisto’s weakness. During the match, Velvet grabbed Pegaboo from under the turnbuckles and gave it a small kiss before tossing it outside the ring. LuFisto went after the doll but was met with a stiff kick to the back that stunned her long enough for Velvet to roll her up for the 1-2-3. Velvet rolled out of the ring, fake crying as the camera showed a close-up of Pegaboo on the concrete floor.
Velvet Sky pinned LuFisto after a kick to the back in 6:40. Rating: 3.00

Suicide vs. Davey Boy Smith, Jr. It had been some time since either of these men had stepped foot inside a PCW ring. Both men were looking to move up the rankings in their respective divisions with a win tonight, but only one of them could walk away with their hand raised. In what some might say was an upset, Suicide took Smith by surprise with a high speed sunset flip for the 1-2-3.
Suicide pinned Davey Boy Smith, Jr with a high-speed sunset flip in 8:24. Rating: 3.25
Backstage, Brooke Barlow was seen with Television Champion Justin Gabriel. Brooke asked about what might be going through Gabriel’s mind after “The Monster” Abyss made his championship intentions known last week. Gabriel said that Abyss is indeed a monster, one of the biggest men on the PCW roster, but that Gabriel had never backed down from a challenge. Gabriel acknowledged that Abyss had successfully used mind games in the past, but defiantly stated that mind games would not work this time.
Commercial Break
Returning from the break, Women’s Champion Angelina Love was seen with Brooke Barlow. Angelina was carrying the container of “Sensuality” that was gifted to her by Velvet Sky last week. Brooke asked for any comments Angelina might’ve had in response to Melina’s issuance of her rematch clause last week. Angelina said that she understood Melina being upset because she was no longer champion, but said Angelina just proved she was willing to do whatever it took to become champion. Angelina said that, if Melina had a problem with how she become champion, she had the chance to do something about it next week. Angelina then sprayed some “Sensuality” into the air before walking away.
The Kings of Wrestling (Chris Hero & Claudio Castagnoli) vs. Jey Uso & Tarkan Aslan Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli – both former Heavyweight Champions – returned to PCW a number of weeks ago, but made their return to the ring here tonight. Facing a team like Uso and Aslan, who have grown well over the months, would look to test The Kings’ ability to work together after a roller coaster past. However, they looked like a team with a goal in mind as Castagnoli picked up the victory after hitting a Death Valley Driver on Uso.
The Kings of Wrestling (Chris Hero & Claudio Castagnoli) defeated Jey Uso & Tarkan Aslan by pinfall in 8:22. Rating: 2.75

Kenny King vs. Scott Steiner This match would wind up being full of surprises as the crowd had not be expecting the debut of “Big Poppa Pump” Scott Steiner. Steiner looked to simply overpower King in this match, but that wasn’t the only surprise. A large man climbed over the barricade and looked to interfere in the match, but Steiner hit King with a fallaway slam for a quick victory. After the match, Steiner and the unknown man stared at each other as officials rushed to the ring and escorted the intruder away.
Scott Steiner pinned Kenny King after a fallaway slam in 2:15. Rating: 2.00
In a darkened area in the basement of the arena, Abyss stood alone, looking into the camera. He said that Justin Gabriel could claim not to be worried about mind games all he wanted. The fact that Gabriel thought there were mind games being played was all the proof Abyss needed to know that Gabriel was not focused on what laid ahead. Abyss said that he would continue biding his time, enjoying the show as Gabriel squirmed with the knowledge of what awaited him on November 2nd. Fittingly, Abyss said that that would be the night of Gabriel’s reckoning, as he would finally step into the ring with an opponent unlike anyone he had faced before. Abyss started to laugh as the camera faded to black.
Non-Title Match Sin Cara vs. © Justin Gabriel The main event tonight was a foreign aware as Sin Cara looked to upset the Television Champion heading into Gabriel’s confrontation with Abyss at Reckoning. Both men used their arial offense to put on quite the show for the crowd in Springfield tonight, keeping everyone’s attention throughout. In the end, Gabriel was able to ground Sin Cara and connect with the 450 Splash to pick up the victory.

PCW Wrestling -- 10/22/13 -- Landon Arena (Topeka, KS) -- 4,900
Alfred Pressley and James Weterfield welcome everyone to Topeka, just 11 days away from the Reckoning pay per view on November 2nd. It is announced that Angelina Love will defend her Women’s Championship after Commissioner Butler agreed to Melina’s rematch request. Also tonight, Heavyweight Champion The Undertaker, will be in tonight’s main event, in a non-title match against “The Blueprint” Matt Morgan. It was also announced, before the show went on the air, that Commissioner Butler would be making a huge announcement concerning the Reckoning event later in the program.
Standing inside the ring, wear a form-fitting leaf green dress, Brooke Barlow introduces Quin Ojinnaka to the ring. Ojinnaka appears on-stage with no music, in a t-shirt that shows off his muscular upper body and a pair of jeans. The crowd boss as Ojinnaka joins Brooke in the ring. He towers over Brooke as she looks up at him. Brooke says that Ojinnaka did not have the typical debut last week and asks if he expected this response from the crowd. Ojinnaka says that the response isn’t surprising because he did something out of the norm last week by shaking things up. He says that he came out last week and sent a message to the rest of the PCW roster, to PCW management, and to the PCW fans that change would soon be coming, and he would be the catalyst of that change.
Brooke then asks, as the catalyst of change, what does Ojinnaka see happening in the future in his version of PCW. Quin smiles and says that he understands that Brooke is doing her job, trying to get as much information out of him as possible, but says that some things will need to be left secret until the time is right. He says his view of PCW is much different than the current product, and that over time, the changes Quin wants to make will happen whether everyone else wants them to or not. Quin says he will reveal something here tonight because, although he is the catalyst of change, he would be naïve to think that he could do it alone. Quin then introduces Shanna, who joins them in the ring, also in a t-shirt and jeans.
Brooke asks Shanna what her intentions are as the newest member of the PCW roster. Shanna, with a Portuguese accent, tells Brooke that while Quin focuses his attention on overhauling the men’s division, her attention will be focused on the women’s division. Shanna then says she is officially putting the women’s division on notice and issues a warning to both Melina and Angelina Love: whoever walks away as champion tonight is going to have a very large target on her back.
Shanna and Quin leave the ring as the show goes to commercials.

Homicide vs. OKADA The opening match of the night saw Homicide take on the IWGP Heavyweight Champion, OKADA, who has been successfully defending his title over in New Japan for the past several weeks. It appeared that the travel and amount of action OKADA has seen recently has worn him down. Homicide, a very good wrestler in his own right, took advantage of his opponent’s situation and picked up the victory after hitting the Gringo Killa.
Homicide pinned OKADA with the Gringo Killa in 10:53. Rating: 3.00

In a pre-recorded video, Women’s Champion Angelina Love, in her ring gear, and Velvet Sky, in a revealing top and jeans, are seen backstage. Velvet says that Angelina has nothing to worry about because she’s already proven that Melina is beneath her. Velvet says that the PCW doesn’t deserve a champion like Angelina Love, and that Melina is nothing but trash. Angelina says she doesn’t have anything left to prove in the PCW, now that she holds the biggest prize in women’s wrestling. It’s now time for the rest of the so-called women to prove they have what it takes to beat her for it. The video ends as The Beautiful People walk away.
PCW Women’s Title Match Melina vs. © Angelina Love (w/Velvet Sky) Commissioner Butler signed this Fall Brawl rematch two weeks ago, as Melina was determined to invoke her rematch clause. There was clearly a lot of unfinished business between these two women, as they quickly went after each other when the bell rang. The match spilled outside momentarily. During that time, VELVET SKY ran down to the ring, hoping to assist her friend, but Melina had other ideas. After sending Velvet into the barricade, Melina rolled Love back into the ring and his a second sit-down face-slam for victory and to regain the Women’s Championship! After the match, Melina was seen having difficulty standing up as she was awarded the championship belt. Angelina and Velvet slowly made their way up the ramp. As they did, SHANNA, who had been introduced earlier in the show, ran down to the ring and attacked Melina! Shanna focused her attack on Melina’s knee, causing the new champion to scream out in pain. As officials ran to the ring, Shanna exited and escaped through the crowd who voiced their disapproval for her actions.
[PCW Women’s Championship Match]: Melina pinned Angelina Love after a sit-down face-slam in 8:07. Rating: 2.50 (Melina won the PCW Women’s Championship.)
Commercial Break
Wade Barrett vs. Mark Henry A battle of two big men started things off after the break. Wade Barrett had not been seen in a PCW ring for some time and was looking to knock of whatever ring rust he may have had. Mark Henry, “The World’s Strongest Man”, was looking to pick up his first victory as a member of the PCW roster. In a slower match that focused on power moves, Henry surprised a few with his ability to keep the match moving, wearing down Barrett. Henry used a short-armed clothesline to finally put Barrett away for the victory.
Mark Henry pinned Wade Barrett after a short-armed clothesline in 8:08. Rating: 1.00
Backstage, Brooke Barlow is with Matt Morgan, seen in his ring gear and a t-shirt. Brooke asks Morgan about facing The Undertaker in tonight’s main event. Morgan says that he’s stepped in the ring with some pretty damn good athletes over the course of his career, but he would be lying if he said tonight wasn’t something he had hoped for. Morgan says that everyone would love the chance to say they wrestled The Undertaker, whether in his prime or now, as he nears the end of his career. Morgan wonders what a victory over “The Phenom” would do for his career and says everyone will find out later tonight.

A video is played from earlier in the day, showing a number of scenes where Abyss is walking through an abandoned building somewhere in the city of Topeka. Throughout the video, Abyss is heard saying that he has spent several years at the top of the wrestling business. He talks about creating the types of matches that other wrestlers grew to fear because of the damage they knew Abyss could inflict. He says he was always the outcast, shunned by others for being too dangerous. He was told that he would never be more than a special attraction, the brutal hardcore sideshow to the men and women that fans really wanted to see. After they were done with him, Abyss was told to find somewhere else to terrorize, and that’s exactly what he did.
Walking through the wreckage of a construction zone, Abyss says that he thought he had found a place that would allow him to be the monster he was meant to be when he joined the HWL. Abyss talks about working his way up and eventually shocking the world when he defeated Cody Rhodes to win the HWL Heavyweight Title. But, soon after that, Abyss was told that he didn’t fit what the HWL wanted as a champion. He wasn’t the guy that would sell merchandise, and the fans were scared of him. Once again, after years of hard work and achieving things that no one thought possible, Abyss was told to leave because he did not fit in.
Now, Abyss says that he has found a home in PCW. Some people might say that’s a step down from where he once was, but Abyss says all he needs is a place to release his frustration. Commissioner Butler has allowed that to happen. He says that the chance to inflict the sort of damage he wants has not come to him yet, but at Reckoning, he will make it happen on his own. Abyss says that he is done being told that he doesn’t fit in, that he’s not what the men in suits are looking for in a champion. He says he is ready, once again, to instill fear into the hearts of the men and women on the PCW roster, and that all starts with Justin Gabriel.
Abyss says that Gabriel has proven to be one of the best champions ever in the PCW but says it all comes to a stop at Reckoning. He says that Gabriel may not be worried about the “mind games” Abyss can play but says there are no mind games, just things he wants Gabriel to think about. Abyss says he is finished with the mental aspect of wrestling because when people see the physical – the pain and suffering – that he can cause, the mental changes will happen naturally. That is what he expects to happen at Reckoning: that the men and women of the PCW will see what he does to Justin Gabriel, to watch him walk out as the new Television Champion, and to know that “The Monster” has be resurrected and will be worse than ever before.

The All-Night Express (Kenny King & Rhett Titus) vs. Ink, Inc. (Jesse Neal & Shannon Moore) The team of Neal and Moore have been looking for their first victory as a team after going 0-3 since being added to the roster. King and Titus, on the other hand, have had success in the ring, but their personal issues have fractured their relationship in the past. A good showing tonight might prove to be what they need to get back on the same page. However, it looks like that good fortune they’re looking for will have to wait, as Moore hit King with the Mooregasm for the victory.
Jesse Neal & Shannon Moore defeated Kenny King & Rhett Titus by pinfall in 11:07. Rating: 2.00
Commercial Break
In the back of the arena, Brooke Barlow is seen with Commissioner Rex Butler, wearing a gray suit. Butler announces that two matches will be added to the Reckoning card on November 2nd: a Triple Threat Match to determine the number-one contenders for the PCW Tag Team Championship; and a Battle Royal to determine a new challenger for Melina and the Women’s Championship. Butler thanks Brooke for her time and walks away.
Claudio Castagnoli vs. Jerry Lynn Question persisted from last week, as numerous people wondered who was behind the attack on Jerry Lynn before his match against The Big Show. No answers have been given yet, but speculation is that The Undertaker had something to do with it. Lynn was back in action tonight against former Heavyweight Champion Castagnoli. “Double C” seemed to sense blood in the water as Lynn did not appear 100 percent. However, Lynn fought throughout this match until The Big Show, Lynn’s supposed opponent last week came down to ringside and caught the attention of the referee. Claudio caught Lynn with a low blow before hitting the Ricola Bomb for the 1-2-3-.
Claudio Castagonli pinned Jerry Lynn after a Ricola Bomb in 14:34. Rating: 3.25
Commercial Break
Non-Title Match Matt Morgan vs. © The Undertaker The main event tonight saw Matt Morgan taking part in what he called a “dream match” earlier in the show. Morgan looked to upset the Heavyweight Champion before his title defense at Reckoning and give himself a huge boost in the standings. However, The Undertaker has a history of taking on big men and tonight was no different. Although “The Last Outlaw” could not get Morgan up for either the Last Ride or a Tombstone, he resorted to bringing in the title belt and cracking it over Morgan’s head behind the referee’s back. ‘Taker then tossed the belt outside the ring and hit Morgan with a knee-lift for the tainted victory.

PCW Wrestling -- 10/29/13 -- Gallagher-Iba Arena (Stillwater, OK) -- 8,439
Alfred Pressley and James Westerfield welcome everyone to the Oklahoma State campus, home of the Cowboys, just four days away from the Reckoning pay per view this Saturday night. It is announced that, after fighting to be given another opportunity, Solo Darling will team up with “Crazy” Mary Dobson to take on the team of Ray and Leon. Also tonight, the PCW Television Champion, Justin Gabriel, will be in action as he takes on Cody Rhodes in a non-title match in tonight’s main event.
Speaking of the Television Champion, Brooke Barlow, wearing a dark yellow dress, introduces Gabriel to the ring. Gabriel comes down to the ring in street clothes, a T-shirt and shorts, carrying the Television Championship over his shoulder. Brooke thanks Gabriel for his time and says that she doesn’t want to waste any time because he has a match to prepare for. She then says that everyone saw the video of Abyss that was played last week and heard the comments that were made by his challenger this Saturday night. Brooke asks if Gabriel had any response to what Abyss had said heading into their match.
Gabriel takes a moment to gather his thoughts before reminding Brooke and the fans inside the arena that he has been one of the most decorated champions in the history of PCW. Gabriel says that, for better or worse, he has been a part of PCW since the very beginning. Rhetorically, he asks if he has ever thought about leaving for greener pastures, moving up to the ranks of the HWL. Sure, he has, but he has remained in PCW because he believes there is a lot left for him to prove, a lot left that he can show the men in the locker room. Gabriel knows that there will always been new competitors walking through those doors backstage, looking to be the one to stun the world and beat him for the Television Title. Yeah, he admits that he’s lost the title before, on three separate occasions; so it’s entirely possible that someone comes in here and takes the championship away from him a fourth time. But it’s not going to be on Saturday night.
It’s undeniable what Abyss has been able to accomplish in this business, Gabriel says. He’s been the top guy, the one everyone else wants to knock off the ladder. There’s also no denying that Abyss is a different breed. Last week, Abyss said it himself: he would rather maim his opponent instead of winning a championship; but Gabriel knows that what “The Monster” is truly after rests on Gabriel’s shoulders at the moment. Gabriel says that he has faced a number of monsters – demons, if you will – both in and out of the ring. Personally, Gabriel says that nothing can compare with the demons he has living in his mind due to the choices he made several months ago. He says those choices have been well documented, and even used against him in this very company. But that didn’t stop him. He overcame all of the adversity that was placed in front of him, and he walked out as champion. This Saturday night will be nothing new for Gabriel. It’s just another obstacle he has to overcome. Mind games or not, Gabriel says, he knows that Abyss is not going to be satisfied unless he walks out of Reckoning with the Television Championship. Gabriel says that “The Monster” will have to use everything he has at his disposal to get the job done because Gabriel will not back down with a fight.
Suddenly, the lights go off inside the arena. Moments later, Abyss is revealed, standing across the ring from Gabriel. Screaming, Brooke exits the ring as PCW officials rush down the ramp. As they enter the ring, Abyss slowly exits, walking up the entryway, keeping his eyes on the Television Champion, as the show goes to commercials.
Commercial Break
David Otunga vs. Adam Cole Otunga started the opening match of the night, locking in a quick submission attempt, but Cole was able to reach the ropes and break it. Cole fought to gain control from that point forward, but the Tag Team champion was not willing to give up the advantage. That all changed as HOMICIDE came to ringside and attacked Otunga with a steel chair behind the referee’s back! Cole was able use that attack and hit a Northern Lights suplex for the victory.
Adam Cole pinned David Otunga with a Northern Lights suplex in 10:42. Rating: 1.75 (Homicide interfered against David Otunga.)

Returning from the break, Brooke Barlow is seen backstage, as she welcomes new Women’s Champion, Melina. Melina hobbles into view on a pair of crutches, in a blouse and jeans, a brace on her left knee. Brooke congratulates Melina on her victory last week and asks if an update is available on her injury. Melina thanks Brooke but asks at what cost did she earn the championship. Melina is now champion, but the doctors have said she will miss significant time due to the injury. She promises to claw and fight her way to a quick recovery because, not only did she defeat Angelina Love last week, but she now has her sights set on Shanna. Melina says that Shanna certainly made an impact on her first night, but that just put a target on her back. Melina says that, when she is fully recovered and ready to step back into the ring – whether she is still champion or not – she wants to meet Shanna in the ring.
Brooke thanks Melina for her time. As Melina stops to hobble off-screen, Shanna appears, kicking the crutch out from under Melina’s arm, causing Melina to fall to the ground. Shanna pounces, attacking Melina’s injured knee before officials rush over and drag her away. Melina is seen screaming on the ground as the scene fades…
Solo Darling & “Crazy” Mary Dobson (w/Daffney) vs. Ray & Leon In a match that was demanded by Solo Darling, the Japanese duo got off to a hot start, using their aerial attacks and quick feet to stun Daffney’s All-Stars. Ray and Leon picked up a couple near-falls before Daffney interjected herself by tripping Leon. This allowed Darling and Dobson to take over the match, and they were able to gain their own pinfall attempts. Soon, all four women were in the ring when Daffney, again, injected herself by grabbing Ray. Dobson ran into the ropes, attempting to hit Leon, who was able to escape Daffney’s clutches, causing Dobson to knock Daffney off the apron! Ray sent Dobson through the ropes as Leon hit Darling with a superkick before pinning her in the center of the ring!
Ray & Leon defeated Solo Darling & “Crazy” Mary Dobson by pinfall in 8:13. Rating: 2.00
Commercial Break
Bobby Roode vs. Shannon Moore Roode came out strong to start this match, using his size advantage to slow down the spike-haired Moore, but was unable to pick up a victory in the early goings. Moore was able to fight back, using what quickness he could still muster to try to take the wind out of Roode. Roode stopped Moore after catching him mid-air and hitting a running powerslam. However, after numerous attempts to put Moore away, Roode resorted to pulling a pair of brass knuckles out of his trunks out of the referee’s view. Roode would hit Moore with the weapon, tossing it out of the ring before pinning Moore for the victory.
Bobby Roode pinned Shannon Moore after hitting him with brass knuckles in 8:11. Rating: 3.00
Backstage, Quin Ojinnaka and Shanna are seen celebrating Shanna’s actions earlier in the evening with a blonde woman in a very dark-red suit. The unnamed woman tells Quin and Shanna that they are just getting started, and that the PCW roster cannot fathom what is in store for them.
The trio is interrupted as Kenny King appears on-screen. Walking up, King eyes the unnamed woman and nods his head. He says that he would like to formally welcome her to the PCW before introducing himself. The blonde, unimpressed, announces that her name is Lana. She says that King probably has better things to worry about than her, as Quin steps in between them. King says that he doesn’t have anything to worry about, but that he would love to see what Ojinnaka can do inside the ring against an opponent who’s prepared to fight. King challenges Ojinnaka to a match at Reckoning.
Smiling, Ojinnaka accepts the challenge, and says that despite what King thinks, Lana will be in the corner of a real man on Saturday night. The trio walk away, leaving King standing alone, as the shows goes to commercials.
Commercial Break
Alfred Pressley is seen in the ring as the show returns from commercials. Pressley introduces Jerry Lynn, the number one contender for the Heavyweight Championship, to the ring. Pressley asked Lynn how he felt heading into Saturday night’s match against The Undertaker at Reckoning. Lynn said that a lot of questions had been going through his mind, but there was one that kept nagging at him. Lynn asked The Undertaker whether he would defend the Heavyweight Championship fairly or if he would require help from The Big Show on Saturday.
Lynn said that if The Undertaker has considered sending The Big Show to do his dirty work, he should strongly reconsider it because The Big Show has not proven to be reliable in the past. Lynn said that it was clearly The Undertaker’s decision what he did – or didn’t do – but Lynn quickly went after The Undertaker’s integrity. Lynn said he knew The Undertaker was man enough to face Lynn like a man, especially after beating him for the Heavyweight Championship. The least he could do – as Champion – was defend the title in the same fashion on Saturday night.
So, no matter what The Undertaker decides, Lynn wanted him to understand that Lynn would not back down until he either won back the Heavyweight Championship or The Undertaker buried him and his chances of ever getting another shot at the title.

Jey Uso & Tarkan Aslan vs. The Latin-American Xchange (Hernandez & Homicide) Earlier tonight, Homicide made his presence known by attacking David Otunga during the opening contest. As Otunga was being treated in the back, LAX had no concerns as they stepped into the ring with Uso and Aslan, who were still in the process of regrouping after Uso returned from injury. From the start, LAX had control of this match, singling out the smaller European. This allowed them to double-team on Uso for a majority of the match. Aslan tagged himself back into the match, relieving his partner, but it was clear it was not in any condition to stage a comeback. Hernandez was quick to catch Aslan with a Discus Punch before pinning him for the victory.
Latin-American X-Change (Hernandez & Homicide) defeated Jey Uso & Tarkan Aslan by pinfall in 10:52. Rating: 2.50

A preview for the Reckoning pay-per-view is shown. Reckoning will take place this Saturday, LIVE from Norfolk, Virginia!
As the preview ends, Brooke Baldwin is backstage with Commissioner Rex Butler. After the events that took place earlier tonight – and the unfortunate injury suffered by Melina – Butler says that the situation surrounding the Women’s Championship will need to be evaluated. Butler says that he will spend some time going over his options before addressing the situation after Reckoning.
Jon Ryan vs. The Big Show The Big Show must have been feeling an insurmountable amount of pressure heading into this match after failing to defeat Jerry Lynn last week, allowing Lynn to earn his rematch with The Undertaker this weekend at Reckoning. Stepping into the ring with “The Bad Guy of British Wrestling”, Show had to be aware of any under-handed tactics that Ryan might throw his way. However, it was clear that Show had ideas of his own. Show would pull a thin piece of string out of his tights and wrap it around Ryan’s throat where the referee could not see it. After nearly causing Ryan to pass out, TBS connected with a back elbow to Ryan’s temple before pinning him for the victory.
The Big Show pinned Jon Ryan after a back elbow in 8:25. Rating: 2.00
Commercial Break
Non-Title Match Cody Rhodes vs. © Justin Gabriel Television Champion Justin Gabriel had a lot to say about his Reckoning opponent, Abyss, at the start of the program. Gabriel sounded as if he was prepared for war this weekend, but he couldn’t afford to look past a former Heavyweight Champion in the main event. Rhodes and Gabriel traded offense and a number of near-falls, bringing the crowd into the match. Rhodes attempted to hit the Cross Rhodes but Gabriel was able to reverse hit, flipping over Rhodes’ shoulder and hitting a reverse DDT! Gabriel than leapt to the top turnbuckle before hitting a 450 Splash that would signal the end for Rhodes.
[Non-Title Match]: Justin Gabriel pinned Cody Rhodes after a 450 Splash in 13:06. Rating: 3.00
After the match, as Gabriel was making his way up the ramp, celebrating his victory, ABYSS attacked him from behind! “The Monster” threw Gabriel into the metal security railing before hitting a Black Hole Slam onto the concrete floor! Abyss stands over Gabriel as PCW officials rush out and try to take control of the scene. The show goes off the air with Abyss staring down at Gabriel, laughing.

PCW: Reckoning PPV – 11/02/2013 – Norfolk Scope (Norfolk, VA) – 9,843
Alfred Pressley and James Westerfield welcome everyone to the Scope Arena in Norfolk for PCW Reckoning! They quickly run down the seven matches that will be taking place during tonight’s event, including the PCW Heavyweight Championship Match, as The Undertaker defends the title against Jerry Lynn. They also mention the on-going situation surrounding the PCW Women’s Champion, and send things to Brooke Barlow in the backstage area, who is standing by with PCW Commissioner Rex Butler.
Brooke and Commissioner Butler are seen standing outside of Butler’s dressing room. Butler says that he does have an update on the Women’s Champion, Melina’s injury that she suffered two weeks ago. Unfortunately, Butler says the news is not good, as Melina’s injury will keep her out of action for several weeks. Because of this new information, Butler says he has no other choice but to officially strip Melina and vacate the championship, effective immediately. Therefore, Butler announces that the winner of tonight’s Women’s Battle Royal will officially be named as the new champion! He wishes all the participants luck before Brook sends things back to ringside.
Women’s Battle Royal for Vacant Women’s Championship Brie Bella vs. Courtney Rush vs. “Crazy” Mary Dobson vs. Daizee Haze vs. Dark Angel vs. KC Spinelli vs. Leon vs. LuFisto vs. Mena Libra vs. Mickie James vs. Nikki Bella vs. Ray vs. Rhea Ripley vs. Shanna vs. Solo Darling Ray and Brie Bella started off the contest, which now had a new “prize” going to the winner: the PCW Women’s Championship! Daizee Haze, KC Spinelli, and Leon all entered the match with no eliminations. All five women did battle until Courtney Rush entered at #7. Rush was quickly tossed over the top rope by Haze for the match’s first elimination…
Haze would then shock Ray by grabbing her mask from behind and forcibly peeling it off her head! Embarrassed, Ray quickly covered her face and exited the ring, in the hopes that no one would see her identity. However, this would count as the second elimination…
Mickie James entered the match and made quite the impact, eliminating both Spinelli and Haze in less than two minutes, for the third and fourth eliminations…
“Crazy” Mary Dobson, Mena Libra, LuFisto, and Rhea Ripley would all enter the match, vying for any advantage they could find to eliminate their opponents. Shanna, the newest addition to the women’s roster – and one of Lana’s new charges in the interest of “change” in the PCW – entered the match at #12 and focused her attention on Mickie James. Shanna was able to get James in a suitable position and dumped her over the top rope for the fifth elimination of the evening…
Solo Darling and Dark Angel entered the match next. Darling, obviously still feeling slighted by the lack of opportunity in recent weeks, went after Shanna, quickly eliminating her with a beautiful dropkick over the top rope for the sixth elimination…
The final entrant was Nikki Bella, who would have loved nothing more than to overcome her unfortunate showings over the past few weeks by winning the championship in this match. Bella would last nearly seven minutes in the battle royal, as she was Darling’s second victim of a dropkick over the top rope. Nikki would be the match’s seventh elimination…
In a moment of sisterly retribution, Brie Bella, who witness her sister’s elimination, snuck up behind the celebrating Darling and unceremoniously flipped her over the top rope for the match’s eighth elimination…
With seven women remaining in the match, old feuds were rekindled as Ripley and Dobson found each other. The two former champions, who traded the belts, did everything they could to see who could eliminate the other first. For now, that battle would be won by Ripley, who was able to toss Dobson over the top rope for the ninth elimination…
As Dobson screamed on her way back down the aisle, Brie Bella once again stepped up. Having been in the match since the very beginning, Bella had proven to be a viable contender to walk out as the new champion. She continued to look impressive past the 41-minute mark, as she was able to dump Ripley over the top rope for the tenth elimination…
Brie’s “light in the tunnel” moment, sensing she as almost at the end of the match, came to an end as Leon – who had been relatively quiet throughout the match – stunned Brie with a clothesline that sent her toppling to the concrete floor. Brie would be the match’s eleventh elimination…
With the elimination of Brie Bella, Leon than took the mantle as having been in the match the longest. Now down to the final four, it was any woman’s match at this point. It was at this point in the match that Dark Angel made her presence known, as she would eliminate Leon (12th elimination) and LuFisto (13th elimination)…
Dark Angel and Mena Libra would fight back-and-forth for nearly 10 minutes, with each woman looking more and more exhausted as the match went on. Both women, now only fighting each other, both attempted pin-fall attempts, which would not count in this type of match. In the end, Dark Angel would have a little more left her in tank, as she was able to eliminate Libra to end the match! Afterwards, Dark Angel was awarded the PCW Women’s Championship and announced as the new champion!
[Battle Royal for vacated PCW Women’s Championship]: Dark Angel won a 15-Women Battle Royal after eliminating Mena Libra in 1:01:04. Rating: 3.00 [Dark Angel won the PCW Women’s Championship.]
Backstage, Lana and Quin Ojinnaka are seen preparing for their debut match in PCW. Brooke Barlow approaches and asks for a comment about Ojinnaka’s opponent, Kenny King. Lana says that Quin did not have an issue with King at the beginning; he just wanted to make an example of someone. That all changed, Lana says, when King made the mistake of trying to pick her up last week. Now, Lana has given Quin special instructions on how to handle King before moving on to the ultimate goal of changing the PCW for the better.
Drew McIntyre vs. Marco Corleone The next match of the night was a battle between two of the largest competitors on the PCW roster. This match, except for a few “high spots”, was nothing more than an all-out brawl. Both men traded heavy amount of offense, hoping to secure a victory, but the match turned in Corleone’s favor after a back body drop sent McIntyre crashing to the concrete floor. Corleone would focus his attack on McIntyre’s back but was unable to hit his finisher. Instead, in an impressive show of strength, Corleone would hit a tilt-a-whirl side slam for the victory.
Marco Corleone pinned Drew McIntyre after a tilt-a-whirl side slam in 6:21. Rating: 2.25
Brooke Barlow and Commissioner Butler are, once again, seen backstage. Butler jokes about seeing a lot of Brooke tonight, before saying there was good reason for his appearance this late into the program. Butler says that, after looking at the standings in the Television Title division, there is a tie between Wade Barrett and Bobby Roode. Therefore, their match tonight will now officially become a number one contenders’ match, with the winner earning a title match against the Television Champion at End of the Line.
Kenny King vs. Quin Ojinnaka (w/Lana) Quin Ojinnaka made his in-ring debut tonight, taking on Kenny King, whom Ojinnaka attacked two weeks ago when debuted in the PCW. A week later it was revealed that Lana – who was identified as Ojinnaka and Shanna’s manager – was behind the mission to change the PCW from inside out. King made his intentions known, challenging Ojinnaka to a match, but he also made hints as to other intentions he had for Lana. Tonight, Lana was sure to be at Ojinnaka’s side and made it obvious that she was disgusted by King’s advances. However, inside the ring, King started off by embarrassing Ojinnaka with a number of technical moves. Ojinnaka slid outside the ring, slapping the apron in anger. After a few words from Lana, Ojinnaka’s demeanor changed, and he quickly with on the offensive. Ojinnaka hit a DDT before sending King to the concrete floor. Outside the ring, Ojinnaka hit a devastating lariat. As King fell to the floor, it looked as if his head bounced off the concrete. Ojinnaka picked King up and tossed him back into the ring, pinning him for the 1-2-3.
Quin Ojinnaka defeated Kenny King by pinfall in 4:06. Rating: 1.75
Homicide and Hernandez are seen walking through the backstage area, when they are stopped by Brooke Barlow, who asks if they would care to answer a question that everyone has been wondering about. She asks why Homicide chose to interfere in David Otunga’s match on Tuesday night. Homicide tells Brooke that the answer should be obvious to everyone who’s been paying attention. David Otunga and Shinya Ishikawa are holding title belts that should belong to Homicide and Hernandez; Homicide says he wanted to send a message to remind Otunga that, after tonight, they would see the champs inside the ring again. This time the belts would be leaving with LAX.
Television Championship #1 Contenders’ Match Wade Barrett vs. Bobby Roode The crowd in Norfolk had expected to see Bobby Roode face Wade Barrett for the right to challenge the Television Champion at End of the Line. However, Barrett was nowhere to be found and a replacement was chosen to take his place. Suicide, who has a well-known history with Justin Gabriel, filled in for Barrett and picked up two very quick near-falls in the early going that seemed to stun Roode. Roode was quick to get back on track and the two men wound up trading punches and chops in the center of the ring, with Suicide getting the much louder reaction from the Norfolk crowd. Seeing no other alternative, Roode went after Suicide’s mask, attempting to expose who was underneath. The referee stepped in, but behind his back, Roode hit Suicide with a low blow! This allowed Roode to hit a piledriver for the 1-2-3 and earn himself a title match later this month.
[PCW Television Champion #1 Contenders’ Match]: Bobby Roode pinned Suicide after a piledriver in 12:07. Rating: 2.25 (Wade Barrett no-showed.)
Brooke Barlow is seen in the backstage area with Television Champion, Justin Gabriel. Brooke asks how Gabriels feels knowing that, if he is successful tonight, he will be defending the title against Bobby Roode at End of the Line. Gabriel says that he has a personal history with both Barrett and Roode, so there would be another chapter written in their story, no matter who walked out victorious. Gabriel says that, if he’s able to walk out of Norfolk with the title, then he would have something to say to Roode on Tuesday night.
Regarding his match tonight, Brooke asks how Gabriel is feeling after being attacked by Abyss at the end of Tuesday’s show. Gabriel says his body is sore but his mind couldn’t be clearer. He has said that Abyss’ mind games would not work, so “The Monster” has resorted to physical attacks. That’s OK, Gabriel says, as he promises to be more mentally prepared than he has ever been for a title defense. He says that Abyss will have to physically break him in order to win the Television Champion.
Tag Team Championship #1 Contenders’ Triple Threat Match The Kings of Wrestling (Chris Hero & Claudio Castagnoli) vs. The All-Night Express (Kenny King & Rhett Titus) vs. Latin American Xchange (Hernandez & Homicide) These three teams came into tonight’s match with the goal of earning a shot at the Tag Team Championships against David Otunga and Shinya Ishikawa. After all three teams were introduced and the bell rang to start the match, both Hero and Castagnoli jumped down from the apron, showing no intention on being apart of the contest. This left The Express and LAX to treat this match like a standard tag match, trying to pick up a victory over the other team. After nearly 15 minutes of both teams trading pinfall attempts, Hero and Castagnoli decided to join the match, attacking both teams. This distraction allowed Hernandez to hit Rhett Titus – who had previously wrestled earlier tonight and was clearly not at 100-percent – with a spear for the match’s first elimination…
With Hero and Castagnoli as the freshest of the two remaining teams, they were able to sustain a longer amount of offense, wearing down Hernandez. Homicide was able to enter the ring and even the score, allowing Hernandez to lock Claudio in a sleeper hold, but Claudio was able to break the move by reaching the ropes. After briefly showing signs of a comeback, LAX fell victim to the numbers game, as they just did not have enough energy left to compete. Castagnoli would hit Homicide with the Ricola Bomb to pick up the victory, earning The Kings a title shot at End of the Line.
[PCW Tag Team Championship #1 Contenders’ Triple Threat Match]: The Kings of Wrestling (Chris Hero & Claudio Castagnoli) defeated The All-Night Express (Kenny King & Rhett Titus) and Latin American X-Change (Hernandez & Homicide): X Hernandez beat R. Titus via a spear in 15:45 X Castagnoli beat Homicide via the Ricola Bomb in 19:21 Rating: 3.00
In a pre-recorded statement, PCW Heavyweight Champion, The Undertaker, responds to comments made by Jerry Lynn on Tuesday night. The Undertaker says that Lynn can attempt to find any and all excuses to explain his inability to defeat “The Last Outlaw” at Fall Brawl, but nothing will change the reality that Lynn is still clawing to find a reason why he should be considered a threat. The Undertaker says that being worried about The Big Show’s presence will ultimately lead to Lynn’s continued failure against him. The Undertaker assures Lynn that The Big Show will have no impact on their match tonight, but it will not change the outcome. Tonight, The Undertaker promises to, once again, plant Lynn in the middle of the ring and walk out as the Heavyweight Champion.
PCW Television Championship Match Abyss vs. © Justin Gabriel In the weeks leading up to this match, Abyss tried to make himself out to be a sympathetic character in the story of corporate wrong-doing and mistreatment. Claiming to be misunderstood, Abyss was not able to unleash the kind of punishment that he saw fit. Justin Gabriel was going to feel the wrath of his latest attempt to find his place in the wrestling business. The Television Champion, however, did not buy into “The Monster” and his mind-games. Gabriel was determined to stay focused on what needed to be done in the ring, enabling him to retain the title and continue his impressive reign as champion. When the bell rang tonight, it was clear that Gabriel was going to get more than he expected. Abyss withstood nearly all of Gabriel’s offense. At the same time, he would inflict as much damage to the champion as he could get away with. Amid the match, Gabriel was busted open and started to bleed. This seemed to energize the challenge, as he continued to show no effect from anything the champion tried. The changed after Gabriel caught Abyss with a superkick, blocking a spear attempt. Even after losing a large amount of blood, Gabriel was able to wear down Abyss enough to connect with a 450 Splash for the 1-2-3 and another successful title defense.
[PCW Television Championship Match]: Justin Gabriel pinned Abyss with the 450 Splash in 20:06. Rating: 3.75 (Justin Gabriel retained the PCW Television Championship.)
Backstage, an ecstatic Dark Angel is seen holding the Women’s Championship with Brooke Barlow. Brooke congratulates her on becoming the new champion. Dark Angel says it’s amazing to be able to call herself champion, but it shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone that she was able to outlast 14 other women for the right to carry this title. Dark Angel says that the PCW may not know who she is very well, but they will soon find out why she deserves to have this title around her waist. Dark Angel then says she’ll be waiting when Melina heals… only to be put back on the shelf for good. Dark Angel laughs as she walks out of the shot…
A preview for the next PCW pay-per-view, End of the Line is shown. End of the Line will be live on November 30th, from Springfield, Missouri!
PCW Heavyweight Championship Match Jerry Lynn vs. © The Undertaker Last month, The Undertaker was able to defeat Jerry Lynn to win the PCW Heavyweight Championship, with an assist from The Big Show. Since then, Lynn has continuously questioned whether “The Last Outlaw” could beat him on his own, even saying as much directly on Tuesday night. The Undertaker, earlier tonight, said that he wouldn’t need assistance from anyone in defending the title, and to his credit, the match went off without interference from anyone in the back. It was a grueling contest that saw Lynn get busted open early on, after being thrown into the ring post. After fighting back, Lynn, who was still outside the ring, pulled out a table from underneath the ring, getting a loud ovation from the crowd. However, the table would not make an impact during the match, it was a constant focus of the announcers as Lynn had complained about unfair tactics being used against him but showing the intention of introducing foreign objects into the match himself.
The Undertaker and Lynn continued to battle even though it was obvious that they were both losing steam towards the end of the match. The Undertaker would hit numerous Tombstones throughout the match, only to be stunned as Lynn kicked out at the last second. Lynn fought back, picking up a number of pin-fall attempts himself, but never finding the key to put the champion away. After nearly 20 minutes, Lynn started showing signs of fatigue, dropping to his knees. The referee quickly checked on Lynn, asking if he could continue the match. The Undertaker took this moment to slip out of the ring and grab the title belt, concealing it with his body as he stood outside the ring, appearing to take a break himself. Lynn, getting one last burst of energy, pushed the referee away and went after The Undertaker, only to be hit with the title belt as he tried to pull The Undertaker into the ring. The Undertaker would grab Lynn and hit a final Tombstone for the 1-2-3.
[PCW Heavyweight Championship Match]: The Undertaker pinned Jerry Lynn after a Tombstone piledriver in 19:45. Rating: 4.25 (The Undertaker retained the PCW Heavyweight Championship.)
After the match, The Undertaker would bring the table into the ring. After setting it up in the center of the ring, he chokeslammed Lynn through the table, sending a message to the former champion. The lights inside the arena went off as The Undertaker celebrated posed, on one knee, lifting the Heavyweight Championship into the air. The announcers thanked everyone for tuning in as the show went off the air.

Haha, no, I wouldn't expect that. I skim over some of the other posts as well. It's interesting to see the spin other people put on things.
